Episode 1 Becoming Venom
It was a damp and Drury day in Innsmouth Massachusetts. The creature known only as Nines, his crimson armour reminiscent of a knight's templar's plate was partly obscured under a heavy coat and board hat. Grinded to himself as he sat behind the wheel of his nine times commandeered truck, he had nearly reached the city and eagerly awaited the opportunity to bring the prize's that lay on the seat next to him to his master.
There were three jars, within each its own squirming occupant, one orange and red the other two as black as tar save with a few flecks of white. They were three of the five symbiotes that lived on Earth, alien creatures that upon first glance look like blobs when they were by themselves but when they bonded with another living being they become incurably powerful.
Nines smile broadened as he thought of the providence the universe had seen fit to bestow upon him, three was a good sign. Three threes lead to nine, the most unholy of numbers truly his nine times dammed master would be pleased and his devotion to the nine fold path was sure to be at last rewarded.
As Nine's crossed the White Angel suspension bridge he felt better knowing he was on the last leg of the journey. Though his good mood, soured quickly as he stopped at the toll booth that sat at the end of the bridge. He hated talking to humans and talking in general, it took so much work to make sure his words always came and multiples of three. He hoped those down in the underworld appreciated his devotion to the unholy number nine.
The toll booth attendant peered at driver over the top his computer, a frown pulled at his face as he took in the stranger who was dressed in what looked like a suit of red armour that was covered slightly by a coat and hat. The attendant felt nervous at the prospect of talking the strange man, which was usually one of the small joys of his shift talking to the people coming and going. Though truth be told the attendant couldn't explain why, it was an involuntary sense of unease he felt about this person.
It wasn't just the suit of armour, in the city of innsmouth many people were ashamed of their appearances and hid behind masks and other odd attire and there are many weird religious within the city that had their faithful dress in elaborate outfits. So as strange as a man dressed in a suit of red armour might have being anywhere else in the contrary is was while perhaps not normal in the city it wasn't as strange as Innsmouth locals could get.
The attendant to a moment to get a better look at the stranger's outfit which was dark red as the stranger glared at him from inside his helm. 'Maybe he's a member of the Church of blood' the attendant thought, though he had never seen one of them wear a suit of armour before only cloaks. 'Maybe this was a new thing' the attendant thought hopefully though the unease remained.
"You take this" Nines said as he gave the man his pass to cross the bridge with his armour covered hand.
The attendant scanned the pass he saw that the driver of the trucks birthday was September 9th 2009. The attendant hoped if he tried to make conversation with the stranger he would seize upon whatever it was that made him so unease about the armour clad stranger "So You're born just near the end of the heroic age?" The attendant asked. "Must have been quite the time, superheroes were much cooler back then". The attendant told him the driver, only for the stranger to growl like he had said something deeply offensive that set of the driver
"I must go". Nine's told the attendant irritable having to restrain his sudden urge to kill, not out of any sense of mercy but merely because he would have to find two other humans to kill so to show his devotion to underworld, which was a distraction he could ill afford. He shot the jars of goo that took up his trucks passenger a baleful glance.
The attendant quickly handed the driver back his pass and "You're good to go buddy may Kay bless you".
Nines gave him no response as he drove off.
Nines breathed nine sighs as thought back to the painful interaction. 'That isn't even my real birthday on the card, since I am from the Middle Ages.' He thought. The date he had chose for his fictional birthday had seemed good at the time but unfortunately it was an era that humans nostalgic for that he personally hated. He still had an axe to grind with Doctor strange.
He also didn't like how the attendant called God, Kay. Nines disliked spiritual people in general but hated innsmouth in particular. The city had being so remote for much of its history the people had over time replaced certain English words with a different terms creating a new dialect. Nine's wished they could use the same words as everyone else in this stupid country.
He calmed himself as he directed his mind toward the fact that was going to deliver three symbiotes to his master. Nine's were sure he would be rewarded and he would finally lose his status as the most incompetent member of his family. Glancing the map displayed on the screen of the sat nav that sprouted from his trucks dash board like a fungal growth, he realized there was problem he had not anticipated. So far his journey had taken only two miles and his destination the abandoned Ravencroft library or as his family and master called the Palace Oblivion was only few blocks away. Sweat bedded his brow until he had an idea, if he went around fish market square for a few hours that would equal three miles when he went reached to the Palace Oblivion.

After several hours of driving around the same block over and over again, Nines desperately needed something to take his mind of the task. He took in his surroundings. Despite how late the day had gotten, the fish market was still busy. Not too surprising when fishing was this city's biggest business after ship-building.
This district of the city was called Old Town; many of the nearby buildings had being built in colonial style so they might resemble how the city would have looked when it was founded in the 1600s. Nines couldn't help but find some amusement in fact that the humans had gone of their way to do this only for the illusion to be broken immediately by all of the residence's driving around in nuclear powered cars.
Nines proceed to make the same turn to go around the market for the hundredth time. When his truck shuddered violated as he crashed into another car coming the other way making his truck spin and sending two of the jars caring the symbiotes flying out of the window and into a nearby storm drain.
The man the car that had just Nine's had slammed into got out of his car to yell at him. Nine's wanted to flee the scene of the crime as quickly as possible but found that his care wouldn't drive. Nine's got out of his wrecked truck to confront the other driver whom had turned bright red as he shouted.
The other driver was wearing a grotesque fish mask "What the drock man I hope you have a good insurance".
Nine reminded himself that Drock a swear word in the innsmouth strange dialect he had no idea what it meant and he didn't care. Nine's screamed "You go down". Nines punched the man in the stomach. The mask man groaned and he went down on the first punch, Nines hit masked man two more time while he was down so it would equal three punches. Nine's then went back to the truck grabbed his sword and his shield then finally grabbed the remaining symbiote that still contained in its jar. He breathed a sigh of relief that he still had an orange and red one. His master had told him it was the most fearsome of his children on earth. It squirmed against the walls of the jar as if trying to escape.
Nine's groaned as he realised he would have to find an entrance to the city storm drain network and the maze of tunnels that ran under the city. He would not be denied the reward for bringing three symbiotes to his master.
