Hey, everybody. Back with the next chapter.
Let's get to it.
Chapter 67- Action at Endor
(Endor)
Han and Leia look around as a force of stormtroopers escorts them out of the bunker. As they do, they see they are surrounded by a small army of stormtroopers and other Imperial personnel, and several AT-ST walkers. In the midst of the army, they see the Rangers and Rex, all with their hands on their heads.
"All right, move it," one of the stormtroopers escorting them says, and they start walking down away from the bunker.
As they do, up on the hill, 3PO looks out from behind a large tree trunk and calls out loud enough for everyone to hear, "Hello. I say over there. Were you looking for me?"
Everyone looks up at 3PO and R2, who is also visible. One of the Imperial officers points up at them and orders, "Bring those two down here." A team of stormtroopers hurries up the hill towards them.
3PO looks at R2 and says, "Well. They're on their way. R2, are you sure this is a good idea?"
Right then, the stormtroopers reach them, and one of the troopers says, "Freeze! Don't move!"
"We surrender," 3PO says.
Right then, dozens of Ewoks leap out of nowhere, tackling the stormtroopers and attacking them with their weapons as 3PO and R2 move off towards another hiding place.
In the trees surrounding the bunker, several Ewoks begin blowing their horns. At that signal, hundreds of Ewoks pop out of the brush surrounding the bunker, and at a signal from their leaders, begin to fire arrows from their bows.
Stormtroopers and Imperial officers begin to shout as arrows begin hitting some of the troopers, chaos descends on the Imperial formation. Seeing an opportunity, the Rangers attack the stormtroopers around them hand to hand. The Pathfinders quickly follow their example, attacking stormtroopers hand to hand and grabbing weapons from any stormtroopers they can.
The cohesion of the Imperials shatter, and the Imperial personnel quickly scatter into the trees as Ewoks start to run away, leading the Imperials away from the bunker. None of the stormtroopers or other Imperial personnel realize that they are about to enter a battlefield where the Ewoks are virtually in complete control.
As the next phase of the ground battle is beginning, a little under a mile away from the bunker, the shuttles from the Salt Lake City touch down in a small clearing. Opening up, two of the shuttles disgorge 150 crack troops of the 1st Marine Division, while out of the other two come 50 horses and their riders of the Indian 61st Cavalry.
Calvin makes his way out of the transports last. Looking around at his men, he shouts, "Alright. Lieutenant Walters, take 20 Marines and head for the bunker. The rest of your, spread out in platoons and search for Imperial ground forces." He then looks at one of the Marines, Master Sergeant Michael Nantz, and says, "Nantz, you and your men are with me."
"Copy that, Captain," Nantz says with a grin.
Calvin hefts his own assault rifle and hurries off into the trees, Nantz and his Marines following close behind him.
(Endor, orbit)
Jonathan snaps his SF-15 into a tight right turn to evade a TIE fighter on his tail. Spotting a TIE interceptor just off his nose, Jonathan squeezes the trigger and a volley of laser blows the TIE to pieces.
"Jonathan, that TIE is closing on your tail!" Abigail calls from a short distance away.
"I'm on it," one of the Rebel pilots calls out, and an A-Wing streaks in and blasts the TIE to pieces with laser fire.
Abigail forms up on Jonathan. Jonathan looks ahead of them and calls out, "Three interceptors, dead ahead, coming right down the center."
Jonathan and Abigail spread out a little bit, allowing the three interceptors to pass by them. The two of them then initiate a cross turn, with Jonathan going high and Abigail going low. The two loop around after the three interceptors, which have split up. One of them has disappeared, while the other two are going in different directions.
Jonathan and Abigail split up, each pursuing a different interceptor. Jonathan calls back to Alex, "Lock him up, Alex!"
As Alex tries to lock up the interceptor, Jonathan tries to stay on its tail. The TIE jinks back and forth, trying to shake Jonathan, but Jonathan stays behind the TIE with relative ease.
Finally, Alex says, "I've got lock! Shoot!" Jonathan squeezes the trigger, launching a SIM-120. The missile tracks smoothly to its target and blows the TIE to pieces.
Jonathan immediately snaps into a hard turn back towards Abigail. As he does, he sees her launch a missile at the TIE she was pursuing. However, at the same time, he sees the third TIE, the one that had disappeared, coming up behind her.
Jonathan throttles up and closes on the TIE. Closing to within laser cannon range in a matter of seconds, Jonathan switches over to his laser cannons and fires a volley. The laser fire blow off one of the side solar panels, sending the TIE into a spin out of control before exploding.
"Better watch your tail, Abigail," Jonathan says over the radio as he pulls up alongside Abigail. Abigail just responds with a chuckle.
Swiveling his head around, Jonathan sees several TIE bombers heading for the light cruiser TAS Ramree Island, which is close by. "Bombers closing on that cruiser. Let's handle 'em," Jonathan says, turning towards them and throttling up his fighter.
Jonathan and Abigail close in on the TIE bombers. Jonathan quickly locks up the trailer with a SIM-9 Sidewinder missile and fires, the missile blowing the bomber apart. Abigail follows up with a missile shot of her own, blowing apart another bomber. Before either of them can get a lock on the last bomber, a laser CIWS mount on the cruiser swivels towards the bomber and fires, blowing it to dust with a stream of laser fire.
Jonathan breaks away from his course, turning in the direction of the Imperial fleet. He narrows his eyes. "This isn't right, Alex. Why are only the fighters and bombers attacking? Those Star Destroyers are in perfect attack position. Something's up here," he says.
"You're right, Jonathan. Something's wrong," Alex responds.
(Death Star)
"As you can see, my young apprentices, your friends have failed. Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battlestation," the Emperor says with venom in his voice. He then activates a comms unit on his throne and says into it, "Fire at will, commander!"
Luke and Kelly look at each other with horror, realizing that they've been deceived.
(Orbit)
Jonathan avoids a volley of laser fire from a TIE fighter. He briefly slows himself down to allow the TIE to pass him, then throttles back up and closes on the TIE, firing a volley of bolts from his laser cannons and destroying the TIE fighter, scoring his thirteenth kill of the day.
Turning around to look for another target, Jonathan suddenly sees something that causes his heart to freeze. Multiple powerful beams of green energy streak out of various points on the Death Star's superlaser dish, all of them combining into one superlaser beam that streaks out into space and connects with the Rebel cruiser Liberty, blowing it apart.
Jonathan stares at the vapor cloud that was once a warship before he says, "S***! The Empire deceived us! That thing's operational! This was all a trap to destroy the Rebellion!"
Right then, they hear Lando call out over the radio, "Home One, this is Gold Leader!"
"We saw it! All craft, prepare to retreat!"
"This is Admiral Kott! There are interdiction cruiser in this system! We're not going anywhere so long as they're operational!" Rear Admiral Kott calls over the radio.
"In any case, we won't get another chance at this, Admiral!" Lando responds.
"We have no choice, General Calrissian! Our cruisers can't repel firepower of that magnitude!" Admiral Ackbar responds.
"Han will have that shield down! We've got to give him more time!" Lando says.
On board the Salt Lake City, Rear Admiral Kott turns to one of his communications officers and says, "Get me Grand Admiral Thrawn!"
The officer hurries to establish a link to Thrawn. Within moments, Thrawn appears in a hologram before Kott.
"Admiral Kott," Thrawn says simply.
"Thrawn, we're in trouble. The Empire had a large fleet waiting for us, and they've trapped us here with interdictor cruisers. Worse than that, the Death Star's superlaser and other weapons systems are operational. We're out matched here!" Kott says urgently.
"Understood, Admiral Kott. Don't worry. Reinforcements will be there shortly," Thrawn says before the transmission cuts off.
(Unknown area of the galaxy)
Thrawn turns around to one his communications officers. "Do we have any reports from Admiral Jones?" he asks.
"Yes, they've reported that the Mustafar system is clear of Imperial ships," the officer says.
"Good. Order him to set course for the Endor system immediately," Thrawn orders. Thrawn then turns to his navigation officers and orders, "And set our course for Endor as well. Immediately."
"Yes, sir!" the officers say as they hurry to start programming the hyperdrive as Thrawn looks back out of the viewport.
(Endor, surface)
A series of explosions send dirt and wood chips flying everywhere around the bunker as laser bolts hit everywhere. Han and Leia, both of whom are still at the entrance to the bunker, fire back at any of the stormtroopers they can see.
Suddenly, they hear the sounds of automatic rifle fire. Only a second later, they see Lieutenant Walters' platoon of Marines seemingly melt out of the trees, firing their assault rifles at any stormtrooper in view. At the same time, a couple dozen Ewoks attack one squad of stormtroopers.
Han smiles. "Looks like the Terrans sent us reinforcements," he says as the Marines continue firing at a squad of stormtroopers that just moments ago had been firing at him and Leia.
Then, he hears a beeping. Turning his head, he sees 3PO and R2 approaching, right as 3PO says, "We're coming!"
Han looks back out at the surrounding trees. He sees a stormtrooper ready to fire at them, but before either he or the stormtrooper can fire, a Marine guns the trooper down with a burst of fire from his M4 carbine, the bullets tearing through the stormtrooper's armor.
Han then steps aside as the droids reach them. "Come on! Come on!" he yells to R2.
R2 rolls over the terminal in the wall of the bunker next to the door and quickly plugs in. Han watches the treeline, firing at any stormtrooper he sees. A blaster bolt makes him double back to avoid getting hit. Before he can lean back out into view, a stormtrooper fires his blaster at R2. The bolt hits between R2 and the terminal, blowing R2 back.
"My goodness!" 3PO declares as Han quickly takes out the offending stormtrooper with a blaster bolt to the face.
Han and Leia then turn to R2, right as just about every hatch and small opening on the droid pops open, all of his attachments pop out, and electricity starts running all over his body as he starts whining.
"Oh, R2, why did you have to be so brave?" 3PO asks. R2 just moans in response.
Han and Leia both look at the droid for a moment before Han says, "Well, I suppose I could try and hotwire this thing." Han quickly turns to the terminal, as Leia says, "I'll cover you." She kneels down in a covering position as Han starts pulling out wires.
Meanwhile, out in the forest, the battle isn't going so well for the Ewoks and the strike team. The sheer numbers of the Imperial troops, as well as the force of AT-STs, is slowly gaining more and more ground.
As an AT-ST is lumbering after a number of Ewoks, firing its guns, the stormtroopers alongside it are feeling satisfaction, thinking this will be an easy victory.
Suddenly, there's a small explosion of gunfire from the bushes. In the bushes, Nantz and his Marines fire their M4s at any Imperial troop in view. As they gun down stormtrooper after stormtrooper, Calvin charges out of the bushes, igniting his lightsabers. He easily cuts down two stormtroopers in his path before charging at the AT-ST. Smirking, Calvin dashes up to one of the legs of the walker. He slashes his sabers at the ankle of the walker's leg. It only takes him about two seconds to cut all the way through the ankle. Immediately, the walker keels over forward, crashing to the ground.
Calvin raises one of his lightsabers and shouts, "We fight 'til we win, men!" The Marines respond with a loud "Oorah!"
(Orbit)
Jonathan watches from the cockpit of his Space Eagle as the Death Star fires its superlaser for the third time. Unlike the last two times, where the target was a Mon Cala cruiser, this time the superlaser beams connects with the Star Destroyer TAS Marseilles, blowing it apart.
Only seconds later, Lando calls over the radio, "Move closer to the fleet!"
"What?" Admiral Ackbar says.
"Yes, I said closer! Move as close as you can, and engage those Star Destroyers at point blank range!" Lando orders.
Jonathan grins. "I like this guy," he mutters to himself.
"At that close range, we won't last long against those Star Destroyers," Ackbar responds.
"We'll last longer than we will against that Death Star! And we just might take a few of them with us!" Lando shouts over the radio.
Jonathan smirks as he says, "Sounds like a plan to me!" He then shoves his throttle into full power, streaking towards the Imperial fleet.
The Rebel-Terran fleet turns to engage the Imperial fleet, the Salt Lake City leading the way. As they move in closer, Jonathan and the rest of the Hammer Squadron streak into the midst of the Imperial fleet. Jonathan streaks low over the hull of the Star Destroyer Eviscerator, firing his laser cannons with abandon and successfully destroying one of the ship's turbolasers.
As the Rebel fleet moves in, aboard the Executor, several alarms sound. Admiral Piett turns around and demands, "What is that?"
"Sir, a small task force is dropping out of hyperspace," an officer says. Piett looks out of the viewport, and at the moment, sees a small group of ships drop out of hyperspace in the distance. A Terran battlecruiser, three Star Destroyers, and two cruisers.
Aboard the bridge of the battlecruiser Indomitable, Admiral Jones takes a moment to analyze the situation. After taking in the current battlefield situation, Jones says, "Launch all our fighters and send them ahead. Order the Granite Mountain to move in towards that battlecruiser near the rear of the formation. All other ships, engage at will."
The Indomitable leads the two London class Star Destroyers and the two heavy cruisers straight towards the Imperial fleet while the Granite Mountain alters course slightly towards the Pride of Tarlandia, a battlecruiser near the rear of the Imperial fleet serving as the second in command ship of the Imperial fleet.
On board the Imperial battlecruiser, the captain sees the Granite Mountain approaching. "Terran ship moving in. Prepare to engage!" he orders.
At the same time, on board the Salt Lake City, which is currently engaging in a broadside duel with the Devastator at point blank range, Admiral Kott sees the Granite Mountain moving in. Knowing that the ship will need help, he quickly shouts, "Get on comms! Tell Sharvit and Moga I want them to take all their fighters and attack that battlecruiser! The Granite Mountain is gonna need help!"
Only moments later, Jonathan, who is in a dogfight with a TIE fighter, hears Captain Sharvit come over the frequency, "Hammer Squadron, new orders! We've been ordered to assist the Granite Mountain in taking down that battlecruiser."
"On it, sir! Hammers, let's go!" Jonathan calls over the radio, and simultaneously, the entire squadron turns towards the Pride of Tarlandia.
Ahead of them, 36 of the 40 SF-23s of the 352nd are heading for the battlecruiser, the other four too occupied with a massive dogfight to join them.
As the Black Widows streak towards the Pride of Tarlandia, they see a mass of TIE interceptors heading right for them. They are the TIE interceptors of the 181st Imperial Fighter Group, led by Soontir Fel, one of the Empire's best pilots.
As they get closer, Captain Moga can see the markings on the side of the TIE interceptors, and recognizes who his unit is about to face.
"Alright, Blue Nosers! We've got the 181st coming in! Let's give 'em hell!" Moga yells over the radio. Other members of the wing respond with cheers over the radio.
With a storm of laser fire, the 181st and the 352nd merge. Two interceptors and one Black Widow are blown apart in the initial volley. Both units turn back into each other, and a massive twisting dogfight erupts between the best fighter pilots of the Empire and the best fighter pilots of the Terran Alliance.
As the 352nd engages the 181st, the Hammer Squadron streaks around the furball and heads straight for the Pride of Tarlandia. As they close in to close range, Sharvit calls out, "All pilots, you're cleared to fire at any target of opportunity!"
The squadron separates into pairs. Jonathan and Abigail dive towards the battlecruiser, targeting the ship's bridge. "Lock up the missiles!" Jonathan yells.
"On it!" Alex says. Alex hurries to lock up the SGM-65 missiles. After a few moments, he says, "Missiles locked!"
Jonathan squeezes the trigger, ripple firing his four Mavericks at the same as Abigail. Eight Mavericks streak out and impact the bridge. The first seven missiles whittle away at the ship's shields, while the eighth missile tears a hole in the bridge and destroys one of the ship's shield generators. They bank away from the ship to prepare for another run.
As the rest of the Hammer Squadron continue making runs to wear down the ship's shields, the Granite Mountain moves in. As it closes in close enough, her captain orders, "Fire the railguns!"
The Granite Mountain's four railguns take aim at the Pride of Tarlandia's bridge and fire. The projectiles tear the sides of the bridge and destroy the remaining shield generators.
"All batteries, open fire!" the captain orders. And just seconds later, all of the Granite Mountain's turbolasers open fire as her missile launchers begin launching their Starhawks.
The Pride of Tarlandia shudders as turbolaser bolts and Starhawk missiles impact the hull of the battlecruiser. The captain of the battlecruiser immediately orders all of his ship's batteries to return fire.
In a matter of seconds, the two ships are engaged in a fierce broadside duel. Explosions rock both ships. However, the Granite Mountain's shields are at full capacity, however the Pride of Tarlandia has almost no shields left. The Pride of Tarlandia's weapons slowly whittle away at the Granite Mountain's shields, but the battlecruiser's captain is alarmed to realize that his ship is quickly taking heavy damage while doing little to the Granite Mountain.
As the two ships exchange fire, the Hammer Squadron, now assisted by a squadron of SF-50 light fighter bombers from the Granite Mountain, continues to dart around the large battlecruiser, striking anywhere they think can. After several minutes, Jonathan and Abigail are streaking underneath the ship. Glancing up, they see a volley of turbolaser fire from the some of the turbolaser batteries on the bottom of the Granite Mountain's hull strikes on the bottom of the Pride of Tarlandia, hitting around the dome concealing the reactor and blasting craters in the hull. Jonathan takes a look at the damage and sees that there is now a lot less armor protecting the reactor from the port side.
"Abigail. There's a weak spot in the reactor's armor! Let's hit it!" Jonathan says.
"Right behind you," Abigail says. The two start a wide turn, heading briefly away from the ship before circling back around towards the port side. As they do, another volley of turbolaser fire strikes the battlecruiser around the reactor dome, blasting further chunks out of the hull and further weakening the armor around the reactor.
As Jonathan and Abigail are making their turn, not far from the Pride of Tarlandia, the fierce dogfight between the 181st and the 352nd is still ongoing. By now, 23 of the 36 TIE interceptors in the 181st have been destroyed, while the 352nd has lost 11 Black Widows. As the dogfight continues, Captain Moga turns after another TIE interceptor. The interceptor weaves from side to side to try and shake Moga off. Moga quickly locks up the TIE and fires a SIM-9. The TIE turns as hard as it can, and just manages to avoid the missile.
Moga continues the chase. Closing in a little closer, he switches over to his laser cannons, spraying laser fire after the TIE. The TIE breaks hard right, managing to avoid the laser fire.
Moga breaks hard right after the TIE, trying to keep his nose on the TIE. He tries to pull lead on the TIE, but can't manage to get his nose ahead of the TIE. Switching back to his missiles, he gains lock on the TIE and fires another SIM-9. The Sidewinder tracks after the TIE. The TIE pilot tries to reverse his turn to avoid the missile, but this time, the missile isn't fooled. The missile homes in mercilessly and hits the right wing of the TIE and explodes, blowing the wing clear off.
Moga smiles a bit as he reverses his turn to re-enter the fight. Most of the 181st has been destroyed. It won't be much longer.
As Moga re-enters the dogfight, Jonathan streaks in underneath the Pride of Tarlandia, Abigail right off his wing. Both of them lock their targeting computers on the reactor dome and squeeze their triggers. Both SF-15s launch four proton torpedoes before they snap into a hard right turn. The torpedoes streak out towards their target, impacting one after the other on the reactor dome. The first six successfully break through the armor, allowing the last two torpedoes to hit the reactor itself. The two torpedoes destroy the reactor, which begins a chain reaction of explosions that tears the ship apart.
On board the Granite Mountain, her captain grins as he watches the battlecruiser explode. After a few moments to take it in, he shouts, "Hard to starboard." The helmsman starts turning the ship to starboard, and the Granite Mountain moves to assist the rest of the fleet.
(Death Star)
From his throne, the Emperor smirks. Despite the arrival of Terran reinforcements, he stills believes his fleet with the Death Star are more than enough to destroy the Rebel fleet and its Terran reinforcements.
"Your fleet is lost and your friends on the Endor moon will not survive. There is no escape, my young apprentices. The Rebellion will die, as will your friends, and the Terran Alliance will be driven out once and for all," the Emperor says to Luke and Kelly.
Luke looks at the Emperor, and glances at his lightsaber, the anger growing stronger as he tries to keep it quelled.
"Good. I can feel your anger. I am defenseless. Take your weapon. Strike me down with all of your hatred, and your journey towards the dark side will be complete," the Emperor says.
"Enough, Palpatine. You will never win. We will never fall to the dark, and you will lose," Kelly says with a glare.
The Emperor smirks at Kelly, "Oh, is that so?" he asks. He then slightly raises his hand, and Kelly's eyes bug as she feels her breathing being cut off. She realizes that the Emperor is Force choking her.
"I grow tired of your insolence. Perhaps it is time I finally punish your father for all that he has done against me," the Emperor says as he continues choking Kelly.
Luke feels the rage swell in him. Even despite his antagonizing statements over the last few minutes, Luke was trying to contain himself from attacking the Emperor. However, now, seeing his wife being choked slowly to death, he can wait no longer. He reaches out his hand, using the Force to call his lightsaber to him. Luke immediately ignites it and swings it towards the Emperor. However, before his saber can touch the Emperor, Vader ignites his own saber and brings it down to block Luke's. The two sabers clash as the Emperor cackles. The two begin to fight as the Emperor stops choking Kelly, though still keeping her restrained through the Force.
(Endor)
Chaos is still reigning on the surface on Endor. Amidst the trees, AT-STs and stormtroopers continue pursuing the Ewoks further into the forest.
As one particular AT-ST continues looking for more targets, Chewie, alone with two Ewok companions, come around a large tree and see the AT-ST firing its laser cannons at Ewoks. Chewie quickly comes up with a plan and tells the Ewoks in his tongue to come with him.
Together, the three climb up one of the trees on the path of the large walker. Chewie grabs hold of a rope, and once the Ewoks grab hold of him, leaps off the tree and swings over to the AT-ST, landing on top of it.
One of the Ewoks leans over the front, right in the window and waves at the two Imperial troops inside. The pilot says, "Look! Get him off of there!"
The gunner stands up and opens the top. However, as soon as he does, Chewie grabs him, pulls him out, and then throws him off the walker.
The two Ewoks jump down into the walker. The pilot tries to fight back, but they quickly knock him out with clubs. Chewie then follows them down into the walker.
Up ahead, they see another AT-ST up ahead of them, firing its laser cannons at retreating Ewoks. Chewie quickly redirects his AT-ST's guns towards the one up ahead and fires a volley, blowing the head of the walker apart.
The Ewoks retreating turn to see the walker, now just the legs, and begin to cheer at the sight. However, blaster fire from stormtroopers quickly remind the Ewoks that they're still in trouble.
Then, they hear something. The sound of hooves thundering over the ground and whinnying or horses. Then, with the breaking of branches, fifteen horses break through the brush, galloping over the ground and leaping over fallen trees. On the horses back, Indian troops bellow war cries as they fire their assault rifles at any stormtrooper in sight. Stormtroopers begin to flee, fear filling them as they face a horse cavalry charge for the first time. But even as they attempt to retreat, the Indian cavalrymen spur their horses in pursuit, mercilessly gunning down any stormtrooper in their path.
In another part of the forest, another small group of Indian cavalry, also numbering 15 men and their mounts, charge after a fleeing group of stormtroopers. The stormtroopers realize that they are not only outmatched, but have no chance of outrunning horses. The leader of the group of stormtroopers shouts to his men, "We can't last against them, men! We have to surrender!"
The troopers quickly agree with him, throwing down their weapons and holding their hands up as they get down on their knees. The Indians quickly surround them, horses trotting around the stormtroopers in two different circles. "Bind them!" an Indian captain says. The men in the inner circle reign in their horses and dismount to bind the stormtroopers, while the outer circle keeps their guns trained on the stormtroopers as their horses continue trotting in a circle.
Throughout the forest, thing are quickly turning against the Empire. The Ewoks are quickly gaining a greater and greater advantage as they use their forest home against their enemies, including crushing an AT-ST between two logs and tripping another walker with an avalanche of logs. At the same time, the Marines move swiftly through the trees, moving almost unnoticed thanks to their camouflage uniforms, picking stormtroopers one after the other. Among them, Calvin moves swiftly through the trees, cutting down any stormtrooper that crosses his path and disabling two AT-ST walkers with his lightsabers.
Back at the bunker, Han is still trying to hotwire the terminal. As he thinks he might have finally figured it out, he calls out, "Okay, I got it. I got it!" However, instead of the door opening, a second blast door closes over it.
As Han tries to figure out what he did wrong, one stormtrooper, who has escaped the notice of the Marines trying to protect the bunker, raises his blaster and fires. The bolt hits Leia right on the arm, and she cries out in pain as she falls backwards. However, one of the Marines quickly spots the stormtrooper as he's trying to reload his M4, and quickly dispatches the stormtrooper by stabbing him in the throat with his knife.
Han quickly kneels down in front of Leia in worry. "How bad is it?" he asks.
"It's not bad," Leia responds.
Suddenly, they hear something. Han turns and sees an AT-ST approaching, stopping at the treeline.
The Marines protecting the bunker, who have mostly finished off the stormtroopers trying to attack the Rebels around the bunker, turn their attention to the AT-ST. However, as two Marines prepare to fire the grenade launchers attached to their carbines, the top opens up and Chewie sticks his head out.
"Chewie!" han says with relief. At the same time, the Marines lower their weapons. Han, after a moment, calls out to Chewie, "Get down here! She's wounded!"
The leader of the Marines, a young 2nd Lieutenant named Jock Lyle, calls out, "King!" Instantly, Staff Sergeant Michael King, one of the medics among the Marines sent to the surface, hurries towards the entrance to the bunker. At the same time, Han shouts up to Chewie, "Wait!" he then turns to Leia and says, "I've got an idea."
Han then makes his way over to the AT-ST, calling Lieutenant Lyle over to discuss his idea as Sergeant King starts checking Leia's wound.
And, I'll end there. I hope you liked this one.
So, the duel with the Pride of Tarlandia and the 181st comes from Legends, and I thought I should include it. Hope you liked it.
I hope you liked seeing the Terran ground reinforcements in action. I'll try and include a little bit more of them in the next chapter if I can.
Now, I want to address something really quick, regarding the wiki. Some other users have made massive changes and additions to some wiki pages, mainly the Terran Starfleet and Terran Army pages. Some have even put in things I have never included at any point in the stories, for example adding names to organizations I've never used or fighters and ships I've never mentioned. While I'm willing to use fan ideas for such things, I do ask that you please clear them with me first. Now, I've already used a fighter designed by a fan. In this chapter, in fact, the SF-50, based on the Korean built FA-50 fighter. I don't mean to sound angry or upset, but please clear large additions or fan submissions with me before adding them to the wiki, as I've had to delete some fan additions to wiki pages that I don't agree with or don't want to include in the wiki. If you aren't able to contact me through PM about such matters, please let me know, and I'll put out an email address I've made solely to deal with business about this fanfiction series that you can send fan submissions to. Let me clarify, I don't mind you making minor edits or fixing mistakes. But any major edits, please clear it with me first.
So, the next chapter will be the last of the Battle of Endor. It should be up soon, and until it is, please leave a review, and stay tuned!
