(New Chapter. It's kind of all over the place, but it includes the beginning of Ginny and Lucy's friendship and Ginny's crush on Harry and even a little bit of George and Lucy though I won't be writing in anything too romantic until Lucy's in her fourth year. Hope you enjoy. I own nothing but Lucy)

...

"Lucy wake up!" Harry quickly shook his sister awake as the car slowly descended into what appeared to be a field surrounding a tall wooden house.

The early morning sun was just barely lighting the sky turning everything a rosy orange pink color. "Wow!" Lucy gasped when she saw. None of the sunrises she'd seen back at Privet Drive ever compared to this.

"Here we are. The Weasley Burrow." Fred announced as Ron quietly set the car in park and shut off the ignition.

George opened the door and stepped out into the field beaming at the house before turning to help Lucy and Harry out of the car.

"Everyone out. Single file pleas and watch your step." He joked as Athene poked her head out of the car mewing tiredly.

Lucy stifled a giggle and took George's outstretched hand after Harry had gotten out only to trip when her cat suddenly ran out between her legs.

Almost instinctively, George tightened his grip on the younger Potter's arm when she stumbled and used his other hand to try to steady her.

"Whoa! All right there, Lu?" George asked in his same usual joking tone. His concern however was clear to those around him.

"Uh..." Lucy turned pink when she realized how close she was to George. "...fine." She quickly let go of the older boy's hand and stepped around him to grab her trunk from Ron.

Harry unsuccessfully tried to hide his snickers.

"Right then!" Fred shut the trunk after Harry had retrieved his things from the car. "In we go. Best to keep quiet since Mum's probably asleep." He put his finger to his lips and led the way to the front door of the house.

Harry's smile widened as they walked inside. It was such a cozy comfortable looking place with well worn furniture pieces in the living room and a strange looking clock hanging on the wall.

There was even a set of knitting needles knitting away with no one holding them on what appeared to be a scarf.

"Cool!" Lucy grinned when she saw the knitting needles. She looked up when she heard the clock chime.

"Lucy look!" Harry grabbed Lucy's wrist and pointed to the clock where three hands labeled with Ron, Fred and George's faces moved to the top where the word home was printed.

Ron nodded as he grabbed a sweet roll from the bowl in the dining room. "Yeah it's not much, but it's home." He smiled through a mouthful of food.

"I think it's brilliant." Harry answered. Lucy nodded her agreement. She started to go into the kitchen when a set of hurried heavy footsteps thundered down the stairs.

"Where HAVE you been?!" A plump fierce looking woman with the same fiery red hair as Ron and his brothers appeared in the living room glaring at the little group.

"Beds empty! No note! Car gone! You could have died! You could have been seen!" She shrieked making Ron, Fred and George cringe in fear.

Harry and Lucy exchanged glances when Mrs. Weasley's face suddenly softened into a warm genteel smile. "Of course I don't blame you two dears. How are you? Looking a little peaky I see." She rushed over and began fussing over the Potter Twins.

Ron swallowed the bite of bread he had in his mouth. "They were starving them Mum! And there were bars on their window!"

"Well you best hope I don't put bars on YOUR window, Ronald Bilius Weasley!" Molly quickly returned to scolding then smiled again at Harry and Lucy.

"Come on then, Harry. Lucy. How would you like a spot of breakfast? There's enough to go around." She offered.

At the mention of food, Harry and Lucy felt their stomachs rumble. "Uh...thank you." Harry stuttered glancing at Ron uneasily.

"Mreow!" Athene wove herself around Molly's legs mewing as if telling her, she needed to be fed too.

"Wonderful!" Mrs. Weasley motioned with her arm into the kitchen. "Come on then! Everyone to the kitchen!"

...

"That's it, Harry! Tuck in. Lucy, come to the table Dearie. Your food will get cold." Molly hurriedly bustled about the tiny eat in kitchen heaping a generous helping of porridge and bacon on the Potters' plates.

Lucy smiled and got up from the floor leaving Athene to the scraps Molly had set aside for the cat.

"Mum! Mum! Have you seen my jumper?" A light girlish voice echoed from the stairs as Molly passed Lucy her plate.

"Yes Dear! It's on the couch! More milk, Harry?" Molly briskly acknowledged her daughter before returning her doting to the Potters.

Lucy looked up from her plate, a fair mouthful of porridge in her mouth just as a young girl, the same girl who she and Harry had met at the train station last fall appeared down the stairs.

"Hi!" Harry greeted her cheerfully only succeeding in making the girl blush in several shades in return.

Before Lucy could have a chance to greet her as well, the girl turned and ran from the room emitting a squeak that made her older brothers snicker.

"Uh...did I do something wrong?" Harry asked, worried that he had somehow offended the girl.

Ron shook his head. "No. That's just Ginny our sister. She's been talking about you two all summer. Well mostly about you, Harry. It's been annoying actually." He frowned and took another mouthful of food.

"Yeah well you're not the one who has to listen to this one talk about Lucy in his sleep." Fred playfully nudged George with his elbow earning a narrow eyed look from him in return.

"Good Morning Weasleys!" A loud booming voice sounded from the back door just as a man the Potters correctly guessed was Mr. Weasley entered into the kitchen planting a quick yet affectionate kiss on his wife before sitting down at the head of the table.

"Morning Dad!" The Weasleys all chorused as Molly set a fresh plate of food in front of her husband.

Lucy looked up just as another Weasley brother, Percy came down the stairs and sat down next to George rubbing sleep from his eyes.

"Ah! What a night! Nine raids! NINE Raids in one night!" Mr. Weasley quickly shed his hat and coat before digging into his breakfast.

"Raids?" Harry turned a confused gaze in Ron's direction. "Mm!" Ron nodded his head. "Dad works for the Ministry of Magic in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department. Dad loves muggles. He thinks they're fascinating." He beamed.

Lucy curiously raised an eyebrow.

"Right then! What's for breakfast Molly Dear?...Oh hello! Didn't see you two there. What are your names?" Mr. Weasley's smile widened as he noticed Harry and Lucy for the first time.

Harry straightened in his seat. "Oh! Sorry Sir. I'm Harry. Harry Potter."

"And I'm Lucy Potter, Sir." Lucy added in politely. Mr. Weasley's smile turned from cheerful to excited.

"Good Lord! Are you two really?" Harry and Lucy nodded slowly unsure how else to respond. "Well!...Ron's told us all about you of course. When did you get here?" He asked looking down to dig into his breakfast just as Molly turned from the stove

"This morning...your sons took that enchanted car of yours to Surrey and back last night." She spoke in a way that told the Weasleys that they were not off the hook for their actions just yet.

In contrast however, Mr. Weasley looked fascinated. "Did you really? How did it go?" He started to inquire when Molly swiftly swatted him in the arm.

"Oh!..I mean that was very wrong of you boys. Very wrong indeed." Arthur tried his best to sound stern though neither his boys nor the Potters took it to heart.

"Morning Daddy!" Ginny, no longer blushing now returned to the kitchen and kissed her Father on the cheek before taking one of the last empty seats next to Lucy at the table.

Lucy turned and smiled at her. "Hi. I'm Lucy." She whispered has Molly refilled Harry's plate with bacon.

Ginny froze a bit when Lucy addressed her then she returned the smile and dug into her breakfast. "I know. I've read all about you and Harry. Is it true what Ron said about the Sorceror's Stone? That you two destroyed it all on your own?" She asked shyly.

Now it was Lucy's turn to blush. "Actually we weren't the ones who destroyed it, but we did find it with Ron's help of course." She recounted as she remembered the events of that night when she and Harry had first met He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

"It sounds frightfully exciting." Ginny gushed as she stirred her spoon around in her porridge. "I wish I could have an adventure like that." She wished just as a faint screeching caught everyone's attention.

"Ah! That'll be Errol with the morning post." Molly turned and peered through the back window just as a large brown owl flew across the field towards the window holding in its beak a stack of letters.

Everyone winced when the bird smashed against the window pane emitting a sharp chirp before dropping to the ground with a soft yet audible thud.

"Ohh!...Fetch him in, will you Percy dear?" Molly quickly ushered her older son, refilling Lucy's glass as Percy gently helped the bird into the house.

Lucy stared worriedly at it. "Is he all right?" She asked as Percy plucked the letters from the disgruntled owl.

"Can't tell. He's always doing that. Always has been." Ron shook his head as Percy undid the string and perused over the addresses on the envelopes.

"Ah, it's our letters from Hogwarts. They've sent us Harry and Lucy's as well." The older Weasley child spoke promptly as he handed the letters off to each proper recipient.

Harry and Lucy exchanged glances. "How-?"

"Dumbledore must know you two are here. Bless him! Doesn't a miss a thing, that man!" Mr. Weasley answered the Potters unspoken question as Fred and George quickly opened their letters.

"This lot won't come cheap though, Mum." George shook his head as Ron silently glanced over his own list. "The spell books alone will cost more than they did last year."

Molly took a peek at Harry's letter. "We'll manage. We always do." She wiped her hands off on her apron.

Lucy turned to exchange glances with Harry. How much money do you have left from last year? She asked.

Harry sighed. I don't know. Not enough that's for sure. Especially if these books are as expensive as George says. He set down his list.

"Oh look! They've sent us a key as well! Probably for Harry and Lucy's vault." Percy supposed as he pulled a rusted key from his envelope. He handed it to his Mother when she held out her hand expectantly.

"Excellent! Then straight after breakfast we are going to Diagon Alley to get your school supplies. All of us!" Molly beamed and handed the key to Harry.

Harry quickly stuffed the key into his pocket and turned to exchange excited grins with his sister.

Diagon Alley!...

One look and he knew the memory of their first trip to that magical place was just as fresh in her mind as it was in his.

...

"Right then! Come on Harry! You and your sister should go first." Mrs Weasley pointed at the large gaping mouth of the fireplace smiling as she picked up a dusty pot full of ashes from the hearth.

"Uhh..." Harry hesitated and exchanged looks with Lucy.

"Mum, Harry and Lucy have never traveled by Floo Powder before." Ron noticing his friends' unease spoke up before his Mother could shove the twins into the fireplace.

"Oh! Well then you go first Ron. Show them how it's done. That's a good boy." Molly quickly motioned towards her youngest son who obediently entered the narrow opening of the fireplace.

"Er...What's...Floo Powder?" Lucy whispered leaning towards Ginny as subtly as she could manage.

"It's a transportation powder. Carries you instantly to any place you name." Ginny explained.

"Wicked fun!" The Twins added.

Ron took a deep breath and grabbed a handful of floor powder from the pot in Molly's hands. "Diagon Alley!" He spoke in a loud clear voice throwing the powder to the ground in the same instant.

Harry and Lucy jumped when a large tongue of green fire poofed up from beneath his feet swallowing him completely.

When the smoke finally cleared, Ron had disappeared without a trace from the fireplace leaving behind only his footprints in the ashes.

"Wh...where did he go?" Lucy asked.

"Come along now! You next Harry. Remember to speak very very clearly." Molly quickly ushered Harry towards the hearth next and held out the pot of Floo Powder.

Harry hesitated but with a nudge from Mr. Weasley finally made his way into the fireplace just as Ron had.

Grabbing up a large handful of ash he faced the waiting group of Weasleys, exchanged a nervous glance with his sister then spoke. "Diagonalley!"

Ginny screamed as the fire shot up taking Harry away as it did Ron.

For a moment no one spoke or moved as the smoke slowly cleared from the fireplace.

"What did he say?" Molly frowned. Arthur cleared his throat. "Diagonally." He exchanged worried looks with his wife.

Lucy felt her chest tighten. "Is that bad? Is Harry going to be okay?" She asked, looking from the Weasley parents to Ginny then to the Twins and Percy.

"I'm sure he'll turn up somewhere." Percy shrugged in his usual stiff way of speaking.

"Yes of course." Molly nodded as if trying to convince herself of it as much as she was the others.

"Come on Lucy. You next. Make sure to take a good handful." She waved the pale twelve year old girl over to the fireplace brushing some of the soot from the fireplace with her boot as she tried to regain her optimism.

George gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Psst!...Want someone to go in with ya?" He asked in a low whisper to which Ginny suddenly stiffened in front of him.

Fred whistled and snickered under his breath while Lucy went pink.

"Uh Ginny Dear, why don't you go in with Lucy? That might make things easier." Molly suggested, shooting her sons with a warning look.

Ginny glanced over at her brothers and nodded her head. "Yes Mum." She turned to smile at Lucy and the older girl returned her gesture glancing at George fleetingly one last time.

Both girls grabbed some floo powder then carefully squeezed into the narrow fireplace together.

"Ready?" Ginny turned to face Lucy as best she could as she held out her fistful of floo powder in front of her.

Lucy held her breath. "R-ready..." She held out her fist.

"On three then. One..." Ginny began in a soft voice.

"Two..." Lucy didn't miss a beat.

"Three! Diagon Alley!" The girls chanted at the same time throwing down their powder.

Lucy shut her eyes quickly as the green flames shot up from the ground engulfing them completely before whisking them away.

...

"Oof!" Ginny grunted as she and Lucy landed in a heap on the ground face first in the dust.

Lucy looked up first, spitting out dirt and squinting in the sunlight until she realized where she and Ginny were.

"It worked!" She grinned getting up quickly so she could look around a bit. "Florish and Blotts and the Apothecary! We're in Diagon Alley Ginny!" Lucy bounced on her toes bit as she noticed a "New Arrivals" sign in the window of the bookshop.

"Well of course it worked. What did you expect?" Ginny stood and brushed herself off nonchalantly.

"There you are! Is Harry coming through next? What about Mum and Dad?" Ron came up across the street as soon as he noticed his sister and Lucy in the alley.

Lucy and Ginny turned simultaneously to face him. "Next? Harry went through the Floo Network before us." Ginny frowned at the implications behind Ron's question.

Ron matched her expression. "Really? Well that's odd. You sure he said Diagon Alley?" He scratched his head.

Lucy bit her lip. "Well uh...actually-." She started to explain when there was a sudden large whoosh behind her followed by something heavy falling against the back of her legs.

"Whoa! Sorry about that. Mistimed the landing." Fred chuckled after the force of his landing knocked Lucy clean off her feet and back first onto the ground with him on top of her.

"Oi! Stop squishing her, you halfwit!" George yanked his brother up from the ground just as their parents appeared with Percy.

"Now now Boys. The day's just started. Everyone to Florish and Blotts. We'll start your school shopping there." Mr. Weasley quickly stepped in before an argument could start.

Lucy hesitated as Mrs. Weasley started to round up her brood. "Uh...If it's all the same to you, I think I'd rather go look for Harry first Mr. Weasley. He's missing and I don't want to go without him."

"Can I go too, Dad? Mummy please! I want to help Lucy find Harry!" Ginny pleaded.

"Now Ginny-," Mrs. Weasley started to chide her youngest child lightly when Mr. Weasley interrupted.

"Well there he is! Probably landed just outside town. Bless him!" He chuckled as Lucy, Ginny and the other Weasley children followed his gaze.

Lucy broke into a run when she saw who was accompanying her brother. "Harry! Hermione!...Where were you?" She asked, tackling Harry in a rough hug before turning to greet her best friend.

Harry started to answer then shut his mouth abruptly like a fish. "I'll tell you later. Where are the Weasleys?" He asked peering over his sister's shoulder.

Lucy turned and pointed back towards the bookshop. "There. We're going to start with our books. What happened to your face?" She asked frowning when she noticed a small cut slightly above where his scar was.

Harry shooed away her hand. "Nothing. I just fell face first that's all. It's not like you look much better." He joked, flicking at a dirt smudge on Lucy's nose.

Hermione rolled her eyes at them. "If you two are quite finished, I'd like to go into Florish and Blotts now too. Gilderoy Lockhart is supposed to be there to promote his new book and I want to get my copy autographed."

"Gilderoy who?" Harry and Lucy asked at the same time.

...

"Gilderoy Lockhart! Wizard Extraordinaire! Mum fancies him." Ron explained as he, Ginny and the Potters crowded together behind his parents and older brothers.

Molly responded to him by swatting him reprimandingly in the ear.

Ron winced just as a pushy photographer shoved him out of the way, nudging his way past Ginny and Lucy before shooting a picture of the smiling golden haired wizard standing behind the desk in the middle of the bookshop.

"'Scuse me!..Scuse me Misses! This is for the Daily Prophet! There we are!" He snapped another picture before shooting Lockhart a near toothless smile.

"Ah..." Lucy choked a bit though Lockhart merely chuckled before his gaze settled on her and Harry who was standing on the other side of Ron.

"It can't be!...Harry and Lucy Potter?" His bright blue eyes lit up with excitement at his discovery.

Lucy felt the blood flood into her cheeks as Lockhart awkwardly made his way through the crowd to them.

She turned to exchange glances with Harry just as Lockhart appeared and swooped down in an elegant yet somewhat extravagant bow.

"Ah! Enchante Potters!" He took Lucy by the hand and pressed a kiss to her knuckles smiling again before releasing his grip.

Harry jerked in shock while Lucy turned a shade of red no one thought was possible till now.

"What a Slimy Git." George muttered though no one heard him this time due to how many people were shoving against him and his family trying to get closer to Lockhart and the Potters.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! What an extraordinary moment this is!" Lockhart looked up at the crowd that had formed in front of his desk flashing a brilliant celebrity smile.

"When I walked in to this beautiful bookshop to promote my newest work I had little idea that I would have the honor of sharing this momentous day with the young famous Potter Twins." Here he clapped a hand on each of the Potters' shoulders.

"And they had no idea that upon walking into Florish and Blotts today, they would each be walking away with their own copies of my entire collected works including Magical Me...free of charge." Lockhart grabbed a boxed set of books from his table and set them into Harry's arms before motioning to the shopkeeper who was standing behind him.

The crowd broke into applause while the photographer from the Daily Prophet snapped a photograph blinding the Twins temporarily.

"Here you are, Dear." Lou the Bookkeeper smiled as he set a second set of Lockhart's books into her arms.

Lucy staggered slightly under their weight. "Uh..Thank you, Sir." She managed a half smile then turned to exchange glances with Harry as the camera flashed again.

What do we do now?

Harry shrugged his shoulders. I know what I'm doing with my books. He marched off the stage then handed his stack to Ginny who looked so shocked she almost dropped them on her foot.

"Here. You can have my set. Lucy and I can share hers." He gave the younger girl a kind smile before Molly swooped down on him.

Lucy grinned at the blush that started in Ginny's cheeks and started to follow her brother when she noticed a slightly familiar figure standing just behind her on the staircase that led to the second level of the bookshop.

Draco caught her gaze and uttered a slightly audible huff before tearing a page from the book he had been skimming through.

Lucy gasped appalled though unfortunately for her Draco heard and he responded with a scowl. "What? You got something to say to me, Potter?" He stomped down the stairs until he was level with Lucy.

"Famous Potter Twins! You two can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page!" He spat shoving Lucy slightly. "But then I guess you two relish in it."

Lucy stumbled, but managed to maintain her balance as well as her grip on her books. "We didn't ask for this." She protested looking down guiltily at the stack of Lockhart books she was still clutching in her arms.

"Yeah I bet you never asked for those free books either!" Draco retorted looking up when Harry ran over tailed by Ron, Hermione and the other Weasley siblings.

"Hey!..Leave her alone, Malfoy." Harry spoke in a warning tone while Ron and Hermione fixated the other boy with a stern glare.

"Oh yeah? And what if I don't?" Malfoy challenged.

"You heard him." Ginny glowered and Fred and George nodded thier agreement.

Draco snickered. "Oh look...it looks like you two have some admirers. You could do better I say." He started to laugh harder when someone with a gold tipped cane suddenly whopped him upside the back of his head.

"Now now Draco, play nicely." A man in long dark robes and blonde hair the same shade as Draco's stepped up through the crowd.

Lucy winced when he roughly nudged Draco aside, but the look quickly vanished when Draco bumped her again on his way up the other side of the staircase.

"Ah..." The newcomer smiled suddenly when he recognized who he had come upon. "Mr. and Miss Potter...Lucius Malfoy. We meet at last." He offered his hand in a seemingly genteel manner.

Harry and Lucy exchanged glances then after a moment, Harry took it if only to be polite.

"Yes-." He started to speak when Lucius suddenly yanked Harry forward using his cane to gently brushed aside his hair to reveal his scar.

"Ah...both your scars are legend you know...as is the wizard who gave them to you." He released his grip on Harry and turned to gaze on Lucy with the same cold piercing smile.

"My, but it's almost as if I am seeing your parents again." He chuckled making both Twins' stomachs churn at the mention of their dead parents.

"Voldemort didn't just give us these scars...he killed our parents." Harry spat stepping out a bit protectively in front of his sister.

"He was nothing more than a murderer." Hermione nodded her agreement.

"Mmm..." Lucius seemed hardly phased. "You are very brave to mention his name...or perhaps just very foolish." Hermione's glare darkened.

"Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself." She spoke confidentally and gloweringly as Lucius slowly turned his gaze towards her.

"Does it now?...And you must be Miss Granger. The muggleborn who believes herself to be superior." He looked up at Draco who rolled his eyes at his Father's words.

"Yes Draco's told me all about you and your...parents." Lucius spoke the word parents as if he were talking about slugs.

At the mention of her family, Hermione turned her gaze to where her parents stood chatting animatedly with Mr. Weasley.

"There's nothing wrong with her parents, Mr. Malfoy." Lucy muttered.

"Yeah you tell him." Ron added speaking through clenched teeth as the older Malfoy turned his gaze first towards Lucy then to Ron.

"Is that what you think?...Let me see now, red hair, vacant expressions..." He sneered looking over the little group eyeing the Weasleys in particular as he walked towards Ginny and grabbed one of the secondhand books her parents had bought for her for her first school term.

"Tatty second hand books?...This brood must belong to the Weasleys." Lucius grinned as if making an exciting discovery.

As if on cue, Mr. Weasley suddenly came swiftly through the crowd putting his hand on Ginny's back to get her attention.

"Ah children! There you are! It's getting a bit dank in here, don't you think? All of you outside now! Molly will meet us at Ollivanders." He started to shepherd the rather large group towards the door, but Lucius blocked the way.

"Well well!...If it isn't Weasley Senior." Lucius's smile widened with glee. Mr. Weasley stiffened from behind his two youngest children.

"Lucius."

"How is your time at the Ministry, Arthur? Are they paying you over time for all those extra raids? Judging by your children's things though I'm guessing not." He taunted tossing Ginny's book back at her.

"Tell me what's the use of being a disgrace to wizard-kind if you don't even get paid enough for it?"

Mr. Weasley responded by pressing his lips together into a thin line. "We have a very different idea about what disgraces the name of wizard, Malfoy." He responded carefully though Harry could tell he was beginning to feel heated.

"Clearly..." Lucius looked back to where the Grangers were paying for Hermione's books. "...associating with muggles...And I thought your family could sink no lower." He turned to nudge his son towards the door shooting the Potters one last unfriendly glance.

"Come Draco, we're leaving." Malfoy nodded and stepped obediently after his Father.

Ginny shuddered. "I don't like them." She bit her lip clutching at her books to calm herself after the Malfoys had left.

Lucy shook her head. "Me neither. Especially Mr. Malfoy. No wonder Draco's such a git." She muttered.

"Right foul gits, they are."

"Must run in the family." Fred and George added in.

"Well at least they're gone now. Everyone outside! It's getting far too musty in here for my own comfort." Mr. Weasley quickly ushered his children and the Potters towards the door.

Lucy and Harry to turn to bid Hermione goodbye first. "We'll see you at school." Harry promised and Hermione nodded her head. "Take care! And promise you'll share your Gilderoy Lockhart books with me, Lucy." She hugged Harry first then Lucy.

Lucy nodded back at her. "I will."

...

"10:58! 10:58! Come on now step lightly!" Mr. and Mrs. Weasley quickly rushed their little brood including the Potters towards the portal at Kings Cross that led to Platform 9 3/4.

Lucy hurried to keep up with the Weasleys, but everyone was in so much of a hurry that it was a little difficult.

"Does it...hurt?" Ginny asked once they were near the portal in the wall. Lucy turned to face her as Percy, Fred and George quickly ran through wall pushing their luggage carts in front of them.

"What? The Portal?"

"No!" Ginny shook her head. "The Sorting. What do you have to do to get sorted into a house?" She asked curiousity lighting her expression just as her parents caught up to her.

"No time for chit chat now, Ginny. Into the portal you go. Ron! Harry! Don't dawdle." Mrs. Weasley waved to her youngest son one last time before following her husband and daughter through the portal.

Harry brought his cart up next to Lucy. "Ready?"

"More than ready." Lucy grinned taking a deep breath as she took a little running start towards the wall. Harry followed as Ron passed up both of them until they reached the wall.

Lucy shut her eyes expecting to feel the little whoosh again as she did before on her first time entering the platform, but instead her cart hit the solid brick divider causing her trunk to tip sideways onto the ground.

"Ahhh!" Harry yelped as he collided with his sister's trolley tumbling face first into Hedwig's cage which opened at the impact of their fall.

Ron fell next to them groaning as he stubbed his toe on Harry's cart.

"Oi! What do you three think you're doing?" A Station Master loudly reprimanded the trio as they painfully tried to pick themselves up from the ground.

"Uh..Sorry...my sister's trolley must have been faulty." Harry groaned as he picked up Hedwig's cage and tried to calm the frightened bird.

The Station Master responded with a shake of his head.

"Ow!..." Ron got up and grabbed his trunk from the pile. "What happened? Why couldn't we get through?"

"I don't know." Harry frowned and patted the bricks on the wall that separated Platforms Nine and Ten. "The portal sealed itself."

Lucy mimicked his actions and frowned when she felt that the wall was solid.

"Eleven o clock!" Ron blanched when he noticed the time on the Station Clock. "The Train to Hogwarts leaves at exactly eleven! We've missed it!"

Lucy felt her heart drop into her stomach. "What?" Athene mewed in distress.

"No, there has to be another way to get there. There HAS to be!" Harry shook his head refusing to believe otherwise.

Ron bit his lip. "Guys...I just thought of something. If we can't go in, does that mean my parents can't come out?" He asked.

Lucy shook her head. "We should probably just go wait by the car." She reached for her own trunk and tried to put it back on her cart.

"Wait...did you say the car?" Ron asked paying no more mind to the mess at his feet.

Lucy looked at him confused. "Yeah?"

"Lucy! You're a genius!" Ron suddenly gave Lucy a hug stunning her and confusing Harry.

"I am?" "She is?..."

...
