Hey, everybody. Back again, with the final chapter.

So, here we are. The final chapter of The Terran Alliance Strikes Back. I have enjoyed writing this story so much, and I'm hope you all equally enjoyed it.

Now, I'll save all the rest of the talking for the end of the chapter. Let's get to it.

Guest: Yes, she will return, and the Alliance will be using clones at some point to man their ships.

Guest: To answer your questions: 1) Each country still has their own currency, but, the Terrans use the American dollar as the trade currency (just like they do now), and the Terrans and Republic use the Republic credit as the trade currency. 2) It's still a foreign concept to some, but it is becoming more accepted 3) It's very good in the Alliance by now, especially with alien worlds as part of the Alliance. 4) All soldiers are encouraged to learn English, and officers are required to.

Guest: Yes, Leia and Han had Jaina and Jacen, not just Ben. And yes, I still plan on doing the sequel trilogy. However, it will be heavily modified. There's going to be a lot of stuff that's different about the sequel trilogy in this universe. However, Jacen will still turn to the dark side, and I'm still planning for him to become Kylo Ren.

DarkerEvening: Yes, I do imagine Billie Lourd playing Jaina, and Adam Driver still playing Jacen.

Guest: The only thing I'll say right now about what happened to the Hood is that she's still intact and that she has not been captured by Imperial remnants.

Guest: Neo-Nazis are a group that support the Empire. In some cases, mainly in earlier centuries, some cultures did persecute people who were Force sensitive.

Chapter 85- An Uncertain Future

(November 1, 2019)

Kelly smiles as she holds Jaina high enough so just her feet are in the pool. Jaina is giggling and kicking her feet around in the water in delight.

Following the signing of the Treaty of Terra and Hall's retirement from the ASAT team, Han and Leia had decided to stay on Earth for a while. After a few months, Kelly had decided that she and her family deserved a vacation. So, a week ago, she, Luke, her parents, her siblings and Calvin's family, and Han and Leia and the twins had all gone on a vacation to Hawaii. They had been touring the islands, and were now on the Big Island, the last stop on their list. They were staying at the Hilton Waikoloa resort, which was a bit of a dream. Leia and the twins had been fascinated by the dolphins at the resort's Dolphin Quest attraction.

Now, today is the last day of the vacation, and they're all taking the time to have some fun in the pool. Kelly is currently one of the two tasked with keeping Jaina and Jacen happy, which she is more than happy to do.

Leia comes walking over, dressed in a swimsuit that Kelly got her before their vacation. She smiles at Jaina and says, "Hey, sweetie. Are you having fun with Aunt Kelly?" Jaina just giggles in delight.

"Thanks again for pushing for this vacation, Kelly. It's been so much fun," Leia says.

"Of course. We all needed this," Kelly says.

"Agreed. After years of war, we need some relaxation," Leia says with a chuckle.

Kelly then looks around and sees that Luke is a few yards away, chatting with her younger brother Andrew. She grins mischievously and hands Jaina over to Leia, saying, "I'll be back in a minute." Leia just chuckles as she takes Jaina.

Kelly moves slowly through the water, trying to sneak up on Luke. Finally, once she's only a foot or so behind him, she lunges on top of him, dunking him into the pool as she laughs hysterically.

Luke pops up a second later, spitting water. He looks at her with a glare, then grabs her and dunks her as well, tickling her as she does. She pops up out of the water, spitting out water and laughing.

Luke starts chasing Kelly around the pool, Kelly laughing as she tries to keep away. But, after a minute, he finally catches up and grabs her from behind, spinning her around as the two laugh. Kelly then turns and smiles at him before kissing him.

"I love you," she whispers against his lips.

"I know," Luke says with a smile.

They keep playing in the pool for a while, enjoying time with their family. During their time, they see Calvin leave the pool and walk away to answer a phone call. When he comes back, he doesn't say anything about it, but just keeps playing with his daughter.

After about another half hour, they all get out of the pool and head back to their hotel rooms to get changed. After they all get changed, all of them head down to the lobby to meet up to go out to dinner.

They all end up going to a nearby diner. After they've ordered, they all start chatting with each other, having a great time and just enjoying each other's company.

As their dishes start to arrive, Calvin looks over at Kelly, who is sitting next to him. "Hey, Kelly, I have a favor I need to ask of you," he says.

"Anything for my big brother. What do you need?" Kelly says with a smile.

"I got a call earlier from General Ivankov. I've been asked to accept a special mission. There are several former high ranking Imperial officers still at large in the Andromeda Galaxy, with several of them having started to become warlords, trying to take territory. I've been asked to assist with an effort to track down some of these warlords, especially since there's a rumor of a secret last surviving Inquisitor that's sided with one of them. I'm going to be leaving tomorrow for Fort Bragg to meet up with the force assigned to the effort. General Han said it could take years for us to track them all down, but the Alliance wants them all taken care of. I'm probably going to be gone a lot over the coming years. I need to ask you if you will watch out for Riley and Grace during the times I'm gone," Calvin says.

Kelly is quiet for several moments before she says, "So, you're going to leave Riley and Grace for years to hunt down these old Imperials?"

"Not for all of that time. I'll be able to come back from time to time. But I've studied some of these warlords before. I know how they think and act. Plus, they don't call me the Empire's Bane for nothing," Calvin says.

Kelly is quiet for several moments before she nods. "Don't worry. Me and Luke will watch after your family when you can't be here," she says.

"Thanks, sis. Knew I could count on you," Calvin says, putting his arm around Kelly with a smile.

(Later that night)

Kelly smiles as she pulls back the blanket and slides into bed next to Luke, who has been watching a documentary on the television in their hotel room.

The two stare at the TV for a minute before Luke turns to look at Kelly. "What do we do now, Kelly? The war is over. I'm not sure what my path is going forward," Luke says.

"Well, I already told you about Calvin's mission, and the promise I made him. We'll spend the next few year watching out for Riley and Grace. And, at the same time, I think you can get started on maybe training Leia. If anyone is going to be the first member of your Jedi Order, it should be her. And…I really just want us to take a few years to try and be as normal of a married couple as we can. And maybe…maybe in 5 or 6 years, we can really get to work on training new Jedi," she says.

Luke is quiet for a moment before he nods. He then smiles a bit and says, "Hey. So long as I have you by my side, I'll take whatever comes." Kelly smiles in return and kisses him.

(November 2, 2019)

Kelly hands her bags over to the man at the ticker counter. She and the rest of the family are checking in for their Hawaiian Airlines flight to LA in about an hour and a half.

"Alright. We're good to go. Have a nice flight," the man says.

Kelly walks over to the rest of the family, who are all waiting to start heading through security. Calvin is waiting with them. He's taking a military shuttle straight to Fort Bragg.

"Alright, everyone. Have a safe trip. I'll call you guys whever I'm able to next," Calvin says. He then takes Grace one more time and hugs her tightly. "Oh, I'm gonna miss you most, sweetie," he says. He holds her tightly for a few moments before handing her back to Riley. He then gives his wife a quick kiss before he hoists his back over his shoulder and heads off to find the airport worker that's supposed to take him to the shuttle.

Everyone starts making their way through the airport security. Thankfully, the airport is not too busy, and it takes them a little less time than normal to get through security and make their way to the gate, leaving them with plenty of time to kill.

Finally, after a little over an hour, they finally begin boarding, taking their seats in first class. Finally, around noon, the A330 taxis to the runway and takes off.

As the A330 climbs into the bright, blue Kona skies, Kelly looks over at Luke, smiling. She reaches out and takes his hand. "No matter what happens, we can do anything if we are together," she says.

"I know," Luke says. The two then look out the window at the clear blue sky, wondering what life will hold for them in the future.

And, with that, this story comes to an end. I thank you for your support. I still can hardly believe how popular this story has become, with almost 300 followers and over 1,400 reviews. No story I've ever written has ever been this popular. I thank you all for your support, and look forward to your continued support of this series.

Now, it will be some time before the story covering the sequel trilogy is posted. Before then, I'll be working on the EU stories. I currently have about 6 or 7 planned, with more possible. I won't be posting an update to this story to announce each one, though I may post an update with all their titles once I've published all of them. So, keep an eye on my profile, and watch for them to be published. I'll include a note in the story summary of each to let everyone know they're part of this series, so keep an eye out for them. I'll try and publish the first of them sometime in December. The sequel trilogy story probably won't be up until sometime next summer. Until then, enjoy the EU stories.

I'll put down right here which ones I'm planning on, so you know what to look for in the coming weeks and months: a story covering Operation Neptune Spear, the mission that killed Osama bin Laden; a story covering The Mandalorian; a story about Thrawn the Terran relationship with the Chiss Ascendancy; a story set soon after the Clone Wars showing how Earth adjusted to aliens living there; a story about Jared Hansen and the Hammer Squadron hunting down Imperials that escaped to the Milky Way; a story about Luke and Kelly dealing with a dark side cult, and starting to train new Jedi; and story about Ahsoka (not sure what the plot is yet); and, of course, a story detailing what happened to the Hood. I may include more stories if I come up with more ideas, but these are the ones I have planned so far.
