The Legend of Zelda: After the Wild

10 years after the defeat of Calamity Ganon, Hyrule was met with a time of prosperity and rebuilding, but underneath the shadows an uprising from the Yiga Clan has started to threaten the new lives of the people in Hyrule. A squad of unlikely friends find themselves stuck in the heat of the conflict, as well as a special task that Queen Zelda herself wants them to complete.

1. Prologue

Every location in this fanfiction belongs to Nintendo, and any names referencing other locations from the Zelda universe are all based off of Nintendo's property. Almost every character in this fanfiction belongs to Nintendo, unless they are original characters. Original characters were created by the players of the DnD campaign. Any other original character names are courtesy to the website known as Fantasy Names Generator, or . There is a lyrical song written in Chapter 7 which was performed and written by the YouTuber known as Lizz Robinett.

Prologue

Red clouds streamed through the sky. Tired and weary from his quest but still filled with the determination that got him to this moment, Link knocked the final light arrow and aimed straight for Dark Beast Ganon's open forehead. He let the arrow go and it shot straight into the final opening. Landing back onto his horse, Link noticed Zelda appear before him. Using the power of the united Triforce, Zelda then used her magic to seal Dark Beast Ganon away. A bright light encompassed the immediate area, and then the red clouds went away. Both the awakened Princess and the Hero of the Wild took a moment to look at each other, now knowing that their mission to defeat the Calamity has finally come to an end, correctly this time.

Overlooking Hyrule Field just a few days later, the two started to work on rebuilding Hyrule back to its former glory. As the Silent Princesses bloomed all around the Hero and the Princess, they set forth.
