On a remote island, known as Lian Yu, or Purgatory, all was silent while in a camp site, a man wearing a green hood, with dirty blonde locks reaching down to his shoulders, cooked his fish, before he paused and looked up as a horn went off. "A ship?" A raspy male voice said. Then, the man rushed forward. He then began to run through the trees, before he came through the brush and landed on a small mountain top looking over the ocean to see a small fisher ship close by before he lit a burning arrow and shot it at the pyre on the beach, causing it to erupt in an inferno catching the attention of the fisherman who decided to investigate, causing the man to smirk before he jumped forward to meet the fisher men.
My name is Dakota Feichko. For nine long years I've been suffering in Hell, but now the time has come for me to return to home. It is now time to remove those that are poisoning my city. To do this, I must become-someone else. I must become-something else.
Five Days Later
"Dakota Feichko, the last member of the Feichko family, was found by fishermen in the North China Sea five days ago. Nine years after he was presumed dead following the accident at sea which claimed The Feichko family. Dakota is the son of billionaire John Feichko who was also on board as well as his wife but are now officially confirmed as deceased." The news reporter said.
Hospital
Tenma Kashiwazaki, a man in his forties, is the Chairman of St. Chronica Academy. The father of Sena Kashiwazaki and Stella Redfield. He is also Dakota's father's best friend, having grew up together her in Japan. With the death of his friend and his friend's wife, he planned on taking Dakota in, to help him reintegrate back into society after the nine long years of seclusion. He is a very wealthy and respected man, so any help he can offer he can get it..
He is a handsome guy with a stern look on his face. Despite his age, he is thin, but very well built; lacking any flab and perfectly proportional body. He has dark brown eyes and long black hair that he usually ties up in a ponytail and is seen wearing traditional clothing.
Despite his "noble" appearance and the "aura of power", he is a shy and timid man. He rarely loses his composure, but when he does, it's usually caused when someone calls his name out loud that he himself, thinks of as "lacking much authority". He likes to drink wine, the habit originated from his high-school days with his friends, though his tolerance for alcohol is extremely weak, getting drunk easily within seconds. He has a few nicknames, Pegasus, Chairman, Zaki. Heaven Stud, President are to name a few, with Heaven Stud being what he calls himself.
He was skilled in sports as a young man, and left an impressive record as a short-distance runner in a national tournament back in his middle school days. He ran as though he had wings on his back that made him light as a feather, and that style of his that charmed all who saw it was known as the "Pegasus Fantasy". Hince his nickname Pegasus.
Right now, he stood in the hallway looking at Dakota, as he stood at the window, watching the city. His hair was cut, almost resembling a military cut. He was tall for being seventeen, standing at a total of six foot, or one hundred eighty-two centimeters. The Feichko family was American, so it shouldn't be of any Suprise.
"60% of his body is covered in scars tissue. He also has second degree burns on his back and arms. His mental state though, is what you should worry about. It's best to prepare yourself Kashiwazaki-Sama, the Dakota that was lost, might not be the one they found." The doctor informed as he looked up from his folder.
Tenma then turned to look at him, a frown on his face as he asked a question that no one but Dakota knew. "Has he said anything?" He asked, with the doctor shaking his head.
"Nothing." The doctor said causing Tenma to nod before he entered the room.
Dakota didn't move an inch as he stepped inside the room, he was as still as a statue, almost dead. "Dakota?" Tenma asked before Dakota turned to face him.
"Kashiwazaki-Sama." Dakota answered, bowing only a little.
Tenma teared slightly. Dakota looked just like his father did when they were kids. He walked towards him, and embraced Dakota, smiling softly as a tear streamed from his eye, glad that his best friends son was alive.
Morning
Dakota, dressed in a long sleeve black shirt, black slim fit jeans and a blazer walked into his new home. "Your room is upstairs to the right, fourth door." Tenma said, looking to Dakota, who smiled at him before he saw a picture of his family, causing him to frown which Tenma noticed.
"Dakota." A voice called out.
Dakota looked over to see a blonde woman in a suit approaching him. "It's good to see you that you are ok." She said, bowing to him.
Dakota gave her a slight confused expression, before he looked to Tenma. Looking back to the woman, he raised an eyebrow. "Who are you?" He asked, with the woman nodding as she understood his question, seeing as it had been nine years.
"It's Stella. Stella Redfield." Stella said, with Dakota still not knowing her.
"You should remember Stella. When you were small, you would always cling to her like she was your sister." Tenma said, causing Dakota to nod slowly in recognition.
"It's good to see you, Stella." Dakota said with a bow.
"Welcome home, Feichko-Sama." Stella said, giggling when his eyebrow twitched. "I see you still hate formalities."
Dakota nodded and tried to find the right words. "It's a work in progress." He said causing her to smile.
A door closed from upstairs, gaining Dakota's attention as he looked up toward the stairs and walk over to the steps. Dakota remained silent as a teenage girl appeared at the top of the stairs. This was Sena Kashiwazaki, a girl that he used to play with when his father would take him to go visit Tenma. Like him, she was seventeen, with him being a few months older. She was five foot five in height, or one hundred sixty four centimeters.
Sena is a beautiful young woman with mid-back length light blonde hair that has two front hair strands with bangs swept just above the right side while she wore a blue butterfly hair clip on her head, blue eyes and she a curvaceous body. She was wearing a school uniform, with it being clear that she went to her fathers school.
"Hey, Sena." Dakota said, a small smile on his face.
Sena came downstairs with a smile. She nearly jumped into his arms for a hug, one that he returned. "I missed you." She said as she broke the hug, smiling at her old friend.
Later
Dakota and Sena sat across from Tenma as he caught Dakota up on some random things. "Okay, what else did you miss? Sports... I never cared for that. A black president in America, that's new." Tenma said as Dakota nodded watching as Stella poured Tenma a glass of wine.
"What was it like there?" Sena asked causing everyone else to stop and look at her.
"Cold." Dakota said grimly, causing Sena to look at him sadly along with her father.
"Tomorrow, we will be going to the city. You've got a lot to catch up on." Stella said causing Dakota to nod.
"Great idea." Tenma said with a nod.
"Good. I was hoping to swing by the Bishop office." Dakota said catching how Tenma froze before he spoke.
"There's plenty of time for all that. Bishop Consolidated isn't going anywhere." Stella said causing Dakota to look over at him
"But it is The Feichko Families company, is it not? So, as the last living Feichko, I have the right to see the company I'll eventually be taking charge of, when I decide to." Dakota said staring Tenma dead in the eye.
"Okay, so what else you miss?" Sena asked him, hoping to change the subject as tension suddenly filled the room.
Dakota stood up. "I need some air." He said, where he walked out, with them taking notice that he had finished eating.
Midnight
Stella and Tenma walked into Dakota's room to check up on him, seeing that he was asleep in the bed. He flinched in his sleep while it thundered outside. Dakota flinched every time it thundered, letting out groans as he twists and turned. Walking towards him, Tenma reached for him, intending to wake him up. "Dakota! Wake up."
On instinct Dakota grabbed Tenma and tossed him onto the bed and was over him with his fist raised and ready to strike. "Dakota!" Stella screamed as Dakota looked down at Tenma in horror before he quickly got away from him and backed away until his back hit the wall, where he slid down, still looking at the both of them.
"I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." Dakota said, hugging his knees to his chest.
Tenma looked at Dakota sadly and approached him and when he touched him, he flinched before he pulled him into his legs. "It's okay, Dakota. It's all right. You're safe." Tenma said as pulled the boy into a hug, reassuring him that everything was going to be ok.
Morning
Dakota and Stella went out, before he convinced Stella to take him to see a playground. It wasn't long, and she was curious on why he wanted to come here. He walked over to the monkey bars and sat on top of it, looking out at the horizon. Stella stood next to him, both curious and worried for the boy. Curious on why he wanted to come here of all places, first on that matter. Worried as this could be a sign that he was trapped in the past with little to no chance of coming back to the here and now.
He sat there for nearly thirty minutes, before both Dakota and Stella walked back to Stella's car. "What is this place?" Stella questioned, asking the question that was on her mind. "What makes this place so important that you decided to come here?" She asked, both of them passing a girl with long black hair and boyish clothing, wearing a hat to the point that it concealed her identity.
"I made a promise to a few friends, I was supposed to show up here the day before I left. Dad wanted to leave early, and I had to leave without saying goodbye to them. We each had a secret to tell, and I never told them who I was." Dakota replied, but then a van pulled up behind them after they crossed the street, and masked men got out. "What the hell?" Dakota asked just as he and Stella were shot with tranquilizers.
Dakota fell to his knees looking up before his eyes widened when an elderly man walked around the corner and saw what was going on. "Hey!" He yelled only for one of the three men to open fire with his assault rifle, killing the man before he hit the ground. Dakota glared up at the man just as a hood was put over his face.
Flashback
Dakota sat on the island, a book in hand that had a list of names, people who his father said were destroying their city. Tears streamed down his face, the reality of his family's death kicking in. Dakota opened the water and took a sip, not caring about the salt, before he saw an island in the distance.
End Flashback
"Feichko-Sama?" A muffled male voice said, causing Dakota's eyes to snap open just as the hood was yanked off his face. "Feichko-Sama?!"
Dakota looked around as a man held a taser in his face and saw Stella on the ground unconscious but alive. "Did your father survive that accident? I ask the questions. You give me the answers." The man with the taser said before he tasered Dakota who groaned. "Did he make it to the island? Did he tell you anything?"
The man quickly tasered Dakota again only to stop when Dakota began to laugh and step back looking to his partners. "Yes, he did." Dakota said, with them looking at him.
"What did he tell you, Feichko-Sama?" The man asked before he saw Dakota's smirk, and his view turned to that of his friends without him turning his body. Dakota stood up, showing that he was free.
Dakota flipped open a knife and used his body as a shield when his partner opened fire, before he spun around the man and slit the second man's throat, while the last man who killed the old man ran, while Dakota ran over to Stella and checked for a pulse. Finding one, he stood up, he threw the knife so hard that the blade pierced though the back of the guys head. Dakota retrieved the knife and within a minute was back zip-tied to the chair just as Stella awoke, none the wiser that Dakota had just slaughtered 3 people, armed with assault rifles, with only a knife.
Later, Kashiwazaki Manor
Dakota, Stella, Tenma, and Stella sat in the living room with a detective, no one knowing what had happened other than three armed men were killed by a man with a knife and that one of them had their neck snapped and used for a shield to protect Dakota.
"So, that's your story?" Lin asked in disbelief. "You just, wake up and all three of them are dead?" He asked, with Dakota nodding his head.
"That is all that we know." Dakota said, slightly annoyed that the detective didn't believe the story.
"I saw nothing. When I woke up the guys were dead, Dakota was zip tied to the chair, and that's it." Stella spoke up, with Dakota looking at her and then back at the detective.
"Yeah. It's funny, isn't it? One day back and somebody's gunning for you. Aren't you popular?" The detective said, with Dakota knowing that the detective was trying to get something more out of them.
"It's a curse." Dakota said as he shrugged nonchalantly.
"Were you able to identify the men?" Tenma questioned, wanting to stop a fight from starting.
"Scrubbed identities. Untraceable weapons. These were pros." Lin's partner said, with more than a few of them frowning at this bit of information.
"Yeah. They figured you'd pay a king's ransom to get Dakota back." Lin said, putting the pieces together, but even he didn't believe it.
Next Day
Dakota, wearing a black V-neck, black jeans, and a leather jacket walked out the house, ready to leave when he was stopped when Tenma called his name. "Dakota!" Turning around he saw him and Stella walking toward him. "Stella, will be accompanying you from now on, as your bodyguard, up until we can get you a proper one." He informed, with Stella bowing slightly to him.
"Okay." Dakota said causing Tenma to smile before he walked away.
Moments Later
Dakota sat in the back of the car while Stella drove, taking in the scenery to Stella's knowledge. Seeing as Dakota was silent, she looked into the rearview mirror, not seeing him. "Dakota?" Stella questioned, not hearing a response. She looked back only to see Dakota was gone and immediately slammed on the breaks and got out looking for him, not seeing anyone in the streets.
Abandoned Feichko Industrial Warehouse
With Dakota
Dakota walked into the warehouse, and paused seeing a note on the door. "Have your weapons, and your suit ready. Good Luck, son. S."
Dakota smiled at the note that was left by Lady Shiva, the woman who took him in. Walking inside he saw a salmon ladder, lots of other workout equipment, and a wall with different types of swords, a bow and lots of arrows, and numerous kunai's and shuriken.
Seeing a box on a desk, Dakota walked over and opened it to see his suit. His suit was green with red accents around the hood and on the arms. His costume had a black and red utility belt, to switch out arrow tips. He wore black leather gloves with a black metal plate on the back of the hand.
Dakota himself meditated for a few hours, before he walked to the desk, and pulled out his father's book, where names were written on every page, before his attention went to the news coverage that had some bald, fat, middle aged guy.
"The suit alleges Hajime committed acts of fraud and theft against the underprivileged. Leiko Lin, attorney for the city-"
Putting the TV on mute, Dakota looked to his father's book, and found the name Akari Hajime.
After researching his target, Dakota began to get ready. "Akari Hajime's crimes go deeper than simple fraud and theft but anyone who has gotten too close to the truth, he's been able to bully, bribe, or kill. Well, he has yet to deal with me." Dakota said placing his hood on.
Later, Parking Lot
Akari Hajime, and 3 men walked toward his limousine. "I put him on the bench. I can take him off. I will turn him into a cautionary tale." Akari said, looking at the person to his right.
"Yes, Hajime-Sama." His lapdog said with a nod.
"And this attorney? You said she wasn't going to be a problem anymore. I told you to fix that situation." Akari said before he glared at the man who looked back at him. "Why are you still here?"
The man quickly ran off, while Akari and his two guards walked away, but the lights burst into sparks, causing Akari and his men to look up in bewilderment, before an arrow struck a man in his heart, killing him.
"Get in the car!" Akari's other guard ordered opening the door allowing Akari to get inside, and as soon as the door was closed the man opened fire at where he thought the attacker was.
"You missed." A voice behind him called out, before he was pierced between the eyes by a green and red arrow, causing Akari to shout in surprise before he was grabbed and thrown to the ground to see a green figure on top of the car.
"Woah! woah! woah!" Akari shouted as the figure was now standing over him. "Look, just- Just tell me what you want."
Akari grunted when the man grabbed him by his throat and held him up. "You're going to transfer $40 million into this bank account - 1141 by 10 p.m. tomorrow night."
"Or what?" Akari asked.
"Or I'm going to take it by force. And you won't like how. This is your only warning. There will not be another." The man said walking away as Akari breathed a sigh of relief but needing to get the last word he shouted.
"If I see you again, you're dead!" Akari yelled only for the man to continue walking and flick his arm back, before Akari gasped in pain, when an arrow sliced his right cheek right under his eyes. Looking back, clutching his face he saw the arrow embedded deep into his limousine's trunk.
Later, Akari's Office
Lin, and his partner were in front of Akari who had a bandage on his cheek. "He was wearing a green hood, and he had a bow and arrow." Akari said and saw the detectives look at each other. "What, you don't believe me?" He asked picking up the arrow and handing it to Lin's partner. "That maniac put arrows in two of my men!"
"Well, thanks for your statement. We'll put out an APB on a Robin Hood." Lin said sarcastically.
"Hey, pal, I'm not some grocer who got taken for his register. I go to the front of the line!" Akari said glaring at Lin as he stood up from his chair. "He said he'd be back here by 10 p.m. Make sure you're here first! You can coordinate with... my new head of security." He said, knowing that his previous head of security was killed.
Lin, and his partner looked over to the man who nodded. "All right. Well, uh, thanks for your time." Lin said as he and his partner left.
Later, Kashiwazaki Manor
Dakota walked out of the house, in a white button up, black jeans, and white shoes. Walking to the car, he opened the door to see Stella in the back seat. "Put on your seatbelt! We wouldn't want you to miss your party." Stella said with a smirk. Dakota smiled as he got in, chuckling as he wouldn't be able to get away this time.
Club
Dakota walked into the party checking his phone to see he had an about 50 minutes to party. Putting his phone up he looked up just as a spotlight was put on him, as Stella ran over queuing the DJ to cut the music as everyone turned to him. Dakota smiled as walked over to a table. Getting onto the table, Dakota smiled even more as he looked at everyone. "Thank you very much, everybody!" Dakota yelled causing everyone to shout and raise their glasses. "I know I've been gone for nine years, but I don't care! Dj, play the music, I have a lot to catch up on!" Dakota called out, where the music played as Dakota got off the table and began to "mingle".
Across the Street
Akari drank a glass of Scotch, his hand shaking as he noticed he had 30 minutes left, while his men loaded their assault rifles walking over to the window. Hajime looked down to the club and frowned. "What the hell's going on out there?" He questioned, looking at Dai, his head of security.
"Across the street? Party for the kid they rescued off that island. Dakota Feichko." Dai said informed, with Hajime shrugging his shoulders as he didn't care anymore.
Club
Dakota was leaning on the rail of the top floor, overlooking the party. Dakota looked at his phone as it vibrated and he checked it to see it was 10 pm and no money had been deposited into the account, causing him to frown. Dakota put his phone in his pocket, before he walked off, leaving to get said money.
Akari Hajime's Building
Dai walked over to two of his men as he walked down the hall. "You two cover the elevator. Hang back and be ready. Stay in the corners and stay alert." Dai said walking to Hajime's office and closing the doors before he activated the security system. "It's past 10. He's never getting in here." Dai said as he turned to face Akari.
Akari nodded and turned to look out the window missing the black arrow that struck the outside wall with an audible crack.
Down Below
Lin and his partner were in front of the building with a few other cops waiting. "All's clear." Lin informed as he nodded.
"Yeah." His partner said, crossing his arms as he had a feeling that it was going to be a long night.
With Akari
Akari was calming down figuring the man was all talk, but the lights suddenly cut out, caused his nerves to act up once again.
As the elevator dinged, the door opened and a green and red arrow hit one of the five guards in the heart, causing his gun to fire into the ceiling. Dakota stepped out and punched one of the guard's kneecaps out, before pivoting around, taking out his bow and smacking him in the throat, before snapping his neck. Not losing momentum, he fired an arrow into the neck one of the last two remaining guards in the hall, before moving behind a pillar, to avoid getting shot. He fired an arrow from behind the cover of the pillar, which hit the guy in the hands, causing him to drop his gun, before Dakota rushed out and kicked him through the glass doors of Akari's office causing the man to be lit up with gunfire. Entering Dakota shot one a arrow into a man's chest, before he ducked under a swing and elbowed his attackers knee causing it to cave in, before Dakota snapped the guys neck, and shot another arrow at Akari who ducked while Dakota had his bow trained on him.
"You missed!" Akari said with a grin.
"You would think so." Dakota said before he was tackled by Dai and the two began to fight while Akari eased out of the room and made a call to Lin.
"He's here!" Akari said frantically, looking back to make sure he wasnt followed.
Downstairs
"All units converge. All units converge." Lin yelled as he and his fellow law enforcement officers ran to the building.
Upstairs
Dakota ducked under Dai's wild swing, and begin to weave through the man's wild attacks, before he grabbed the man's arm when he attempted a right cross, and yanked him forward and elbowed his nose, causing the man to fall to the ground. Dakota took an arrow and stabbed Dai's neck when he tried to reach for his gun.
He looked to where he heard multiple rushing footsteps. "Lay down your weapons or we will open fire. I repeat, lay down your weapons!" Lin yelled, only for Dakota to get up and run causing the cops to immediately begin shooting but they were shocked when he jumped through the window.
Rushing over Lin and his partner saw the green figure glide across the street and land on the rooftop of the building where the Feichko's party just so happened to be. "Tell me you saw that." Lin's partner said in shock.
"Okay. Let's go. Move!" Lin ordered as he and cops ran out.
Club
Dakota had returned without anyone noticing that he was gone' Everyone was having a good time, that was until everyone groaned when a S.W.A.T. member ordered the Dj to cut the music. "Search the building. Roof to basement. Find him!" Lin yelled a as he approached the crowd while Dakota stood up. "The party's over, kids! Oh, Feichko-San. Imagine my shock to find you here?" Lin asked glaring at Dakota, having a feeling that he was somehow behind this.
"Detective?" Dakota questioned, walking forward causing Lin to look at him. "This is a private party."
"There was an incident at Akari Hajime's building. Know about that?" Lin asked suspiciously.
"Who's Akari Hajime?" Dakota asked in returned.
"A millionaire bottom feeder. I'm surprised you aren't friends." Lin said in turn, with Dakota shaking his head at Lins response to his question.
"Well, I am a friendly guy, but I have no new friends, seeing as I've been out of town for a while." Dakota said as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Yeah. Well, he just got attacked by a guy with a hood. The guy that saved your ass the other day." Lin said still glaring at Dakota.
"Really, did you catch him?" Dakota asked only for Lin to glare, meaning that was a no. "Shame, I would really like to speak with him."
"Okay, let's go partner." Lin's partner said starting to pull him away.
"Now that is over with. Let's party!" Dakota yelled getting cheers from everyone just as the music started but Stella grabbed his shoulder.
"Some coincidence. You asking to have your party here, and Hajime getting robbed next door. And by the same guy who rescued us at the warehouse." Stella said, with Dakota looking at her, knowing she was suspicious now.
"I know right." Dakota said smiling at her.
Next Morning
Akari Hajime was enraged as he yelled into his phone. "What the hell are you talking about? Forty million dollars doesn't just up and vanish... Untraceable? It is $40 million. Find it!" He yelled before slamming his phone onto his desk, he sat down putting his face into his hands from the shock of the news. "How did he do it?" He asked unaware of the arrow Dakota had shot at him was sticking in his wall, and a small light was blinking on it.
Kashiwazaki Manor
Dakota sat at the foot of his bed, looking at his tablet, as he remotely drained Akari Hajime's bank account, and split it up between all the people he had extorted from. With a smirk, he closed the window, and placed his tablet down after shutting it off and looked to the picture of him and his parents on his desk.
Later
A man dressed in all black walked over to Tenma. "The police failed to identify the men I hired to kidnap Dakota. And they never will. Should we arrange another abduction?"
"No. There are other ways of finding out what he knows." Tenma said getting a nod from his accomplice as he looked up to the window of Dakota's bedroom. He was still upset that he was being forced to act against his best friend's son in such a way.
