1 Sophie's POV

"Hi sophie." Ro said when she opened keefes bedroom door.

"Hi, any changes?" Sophie had been waiting until Elwin was done checking on Keefe. He had recently been moved back into his old room for comfort since there wasn't anything actually wrong physically. Though Elwin had been checking up on him every day. "No not yet though it's good of you to come." Ro said

"Where else would I be?" Sophie replied. And really? there wasn't anywhere she would rather be. Not right now when Keefe needed her. He'd always been there for her, and now she would be here for him. Whatever she could do.

"Do you think he hears us?" It took her a minute to realize she said the words.

"Yes, I think he hears us. He knows what happens when he doesn't listed to me" Ro said the words trying to make a joke but they both knew it failed.

"Is there anything I can do?" Sophie asked softly.

"Yeah" Ro said.

Sophie waited for her to continue, but she never did.

"Well I might as well clean up a little" sophie said suddenly after a minute of silence. "When he wakes up he'll won't want to wake up to filth" her human mom used to say that when it was almost time to get ready for bed. Thinking of her human family made her think of Councilor not-my-mom, and that was not a good thought.

As sophie got to work cleaning Ro started poking Keefe to try and wake him up, when there was a knock at the door.

"Can I come in?"

Biana. Whew! She was gretfull it wasn't fitz, things were still weird with him even though he had apologized like a million times.

"Yeah come on in!" Sophie answered

"Oh hi sophie! Is he any better?" Biana asked as she flickered in and out as she walked across the room.

"Unfortunately no, but I'm trying to clean this place up a bit if you're looking for something to do!" She replied

"Ok!" Biana had been extra cheerful since she heard that she and Fitz had broken up. She didn't know what to think of it.

They worked in silence until sophie heard Biana say, "what are these? They look like little people! Wait are those ELVES?" Sophie giggled. "Yeah those are just some cookies I got Keefe from Amy. You should try one they actually taste good I promise! "Ok! Here it goes!" Then sophie heard a loud crunching sound. "Hm these actually arn't bad!" Biana said as she took another one.

Sophie went back to putting stray rumpled up papers back in to the trash can, when she noticed her name on one of them. Before she could change her mind, she smoothed out the paper and started reading,

Dear sophie,

I know you don't know this, and you probably won't ever read this. who knows! I might actually get up enough courage to tell you this in person! But I know you like fitz. not me. so I can't TELL you now. so this will have to do. I care about you. Very much. I try to show you that every day i see you, but Ro saids I'm not trying hard enough but I don't think so. I like you. I'll flat out say it. Well write it anyways. I heard my dad talking to someone down stairs (I think it might of been Grady) and he said that you might be unmatchable. I didn't belive him until I thought about it, and... it makes sense. I know it wouldn't bother me, and I doubt it would bother Fitz. (I've seen the way he looks at you.) Then Me and Ro had this whole conversation about how I'm not obvious enough. I think I... (something she couldn't read cause it was scribbled out)... like you a lot, but I also know I'm not good enough for you so I'll stay quiet now. I wish you well. always, Keefe.

WAIT HE...WHAT!* NO he doesn't feel like that! He couldn't after all this time! when was this? He just CAN'T feel like that now! This is KEEFE! But...what if he did? What if... But she was stopped there by Biana saying, "Sophie what is it? What did you find? You just turned white as a sheet!" But sophie just continued to stare in amazement at the paper in her hand. "OK that's it!" Biana then grabbed the letter and started reading. Sophie held her breath the entire time she was reading it. But at last Biana looked up and then then proceeded to say, "Wait you didn't know?" "no" she said at barely a whisper, "no I did not"
