Chapter 4:
Note: This one-shot is canon to my story: The Story of Padawan Alycee: The Clone Wars.
Obi-Wan's POV
When I heard there was a documentary being made about life as a Jedi, I agreed to participate and encouraged my Padawan, Alycee as well.
"Come on, it'll be good for you," I said.
She looked skeptical. "I dunno, Master. Who's producing this documentary?"
"An independent filmmaker here on corrasant. He's agreed to let us film our own bits, and I wanted to film our introductory bit."
She sighed. "Alright. You win."
I pulled out the cam-recorder the filmmaker loaned us.
"Hold on, right now?" Alycee asked.
"We can wait until you are ready, Padawan."
"Please? I'm still not sure about this."
I nodded.
"Okay. Take all the time you need."
Alycee's POV
I agreed only because a lot of the misinformation is being spread like wildfire. I figured I'd speak with Ashoka and Emma before I felt ready enough to film anything with my Master.
I called my sister first. "Hey, Emma."
"Hey sis, what's up?"
"I was wondering if you knew anything about this documentary?"
"Yep, me and Master Plo-Koon are taking part in it." She replied. "Does Master Obi-Wan want to do it with you?"
"Yeah."
"I think you should. After all, it'd be nice to bust some of the myths floating around."
I nodded. "Yeah, I don't disagree with that."
"Okay, well, I hope to hear from you again soon sis."
"I'll call you again soon, I promise."
I ended the call with my sister and called up Ashoka.
"Hey, Lycee! What's up?"
"Nothing much. Have you heard anything about a documentary being made about Jedi?"
"Yeah, I have. And me and Master Skywalker are filming for it as well."
I hummed "I was just wondering. Master Kenobi wants to film with me as well."
"I think you should go with it. It'd be fun to record our everyday life. Think of it like a video diary or something. Just less private."
"Thanks, Ashoka. I think I will go through with it."
I hung up with Ashoka. And went back to my Master. "I'm ready, I just needed to verify that it was a legit project."
"Alycee, I'd never ask if I thought it was potentially propaganda. Me and the council went through his works, they're all legitimate and informative."
I took in a deep breath "I'm ready to film if you are."
