Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we'll be going over the events of Fairy tail episode 17 title burst and if I feel I don't have enough data episode 18 titled reach it to the sky. I don't have anything else to add so without further ado let's get this show on the road."

Ben's P.O.V.

We had been focusing for too long on the mask wearing creep that the top half of the demon was completely thawed out which I only noticed when it started roaring. The volume at which it roared I would not have been shocked if the people back at the village or wherever they were staying could hear it and somehow Natsu hadn't been affected by the roar despite his sensitive hearing.

Just as I was about to turn into something big enough to actually defeat the demon without collapsing the cave in on us the Omnitrix timed out. I looked at it and said "seriously you're out of power now" and just as I looked up at it I saw a crystal orb coming right at my face which I managed to dodge out of the way of.

However, that had the effect of it hitting Natsu in the face and I looked around and saw that the mask looking creed was still here but didn't have his mask on anymore. He was controlling the orb and having it fly around before going at Natsu again which he retaliated by shattering it into multiple pieces. The guy then grinned before the orb reformed and socked him right in the stomach and Natsu uttered out "I broke it right."

The now maskless creep said "I control an object's time meaning I can take the crystal back in time before it was broken" and Natsu asked him "what kind of magic gives you that power." The creep said "I practice one of the lost magics known as the arc of time it's extremely rare and quite powerful would you like to see what happens then I throw this crystal orb into the future" and I said "even if we say no you're going to anyway aren't you" and he said "of course."

The orb flew past both our heads and disappeared before slamming into us from different directions and finally Natsu had just broken it with his flaming fist only for it to reform again. As the creep sent it at us again Natsu was about to punch it into pieces again only for it to stop in midair" and when Natsu said this the creep said "yes I also have the power to freeze an object in time."

Natsu said "that's a nice trick but I'd be more impressed if it worked on people" and the creep responded "ah that's the rough it doesn't work on living things since Ur turned herself into the ice that holds Deliora I cannot simply rewind the time on that ice to its pre-frozen state that's why we're using moon drip."

Natsu then got to the meat and potatoes of the whole reason "let me ask you something why are you guys doing this. It seems to me that you're going through all the trouble of releasing this demon so that Lyon can beat it to boost his ego. That's great for him and all but what are you getting out of it" and the creep said "I cannot say I've only recently joined them so I don't know enough to speak on the other's behalf."

Natsu then asked him "okay then so what about you what's your goal in all this" and the creep responded "you certainly know how to get straight to the point. The cold emperor Lyon is a twit he doesn't stand a chance against Deliora that's where I come in" and I said "if he can't kill it what hope do you have of doing so."

The creep said "don't be ridiculous I don't want to kill the demon I want to control it you see there are spells that give the caster power over immortal monsters like this one here. With a single spell I would become the most powerful man in the world because I would have a demon at my beck and call." Natsu said "talk about a lame answer" and I said to him "it may be lame but you got to love when villains monolog every detail of their plans."

He said "why is that" and I said "because while he was monologuing it gave me time to recharge and since he's said what his magic can do I know exactly have to beat him." I activated the Omnitrix and looked for the icon I wanted and then I slammed down on the core as it popped up and transformed into Clockwork."

Natsu said "What's that guy going to do" and I said "this guy as you put it has the same powers as the guy up there I'll freeze his orb in time to where he'll be defenseless without it and then you'll punch his lights out" and Natsu said "that's a good idea" and the creep launched the orb at us and said "if you think you can stop it go ahead and try" and I did so by shooting a beam at the small object from my chest and then I called out to Natsu "I can't keep it up for long so go punch his lights out" and Natsu ignited his fists.

He then jumped up and called out the spell "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist" and this time I saw it hit the mark and then as the creep was falling I let go of my time control over the orb just as the Omnitrix timed out. Natsu then said "I thought you had 15 minutes or so with your forms" and I said "that's normally the case although if I use a powerful alien such as clockwork it drains the battery kind of quickly not to mention it wasn't fully charged."

As the demon roared again to signify it was free from the ice that had held it prisoner for so long Natsu and I noticed Grey was down here and had water running from his hand and said something that I couldn't make out." Natsu ran over to him and said "what are you doing here" and when Grey said his name Natsu said "there's only one thing left to do we have to take that thing down."

Then a weak voice said "none of you are strong enough but I am I will defeat it" and the voice belonged to Lyon who was so weak right now that he was reduced to crawling along the ground using his hands to pull himself forward. Lyon then muttered "I'm finally going to surpass Ur" and Natsu said "you can't fight it you can't even get up off the floor" and the demon roared again.

Either not hearing Natsu due to his injuries or just flat out ignoring him Lyon said "I've waited for this moment for so long she was strong but still not strong enough to kill that demon." He managed to get to his feet and started slowly limping toward the demon while saying "I'm going to do the one thing that Ur never could finally my dream will be fulfilled" however, before he could get himself killed Grey knocked Lyon out with a swift chop to the back of his neck.

While walking past Lyon, Grey said "you've caused enough trouble I'm going to clean up the mess you made I'll seal the demon myself" and once again assumed the iced shell stance. As he called out the name of the spell Lyon called out "don't Grey do you have any idea how long it took me to melt that ice sealing it again won't stop me I won't rest until I finally defeated Deliora."

Grey said back to him "I can't worry about the future I have to do it now to prevent it from killing us all" and Natsu got in front of Grey and said "why don't you let me worry about this." Grey then said "don't be stupid get out of my way" and Natsu called back to him "if I didn't let you do it before why would I let you do it now.

I'm not going to let you go out like that go ahead and cast the spell but I'm not moving" and the demon roared again only this time while rising its fist about to strike Natsu. While Grey called out Natsu's name he yelled out "I'm not going out until the very end" and he met the demon's fist with his one it was green energy Vs. fire until the demon's body started cracking all over with green energy appearing between the cracks.

As the demon was roaring it's final time in pain Natsu said "huh I guess I'm stronger then I thought" and the demon fell apart into pieces and I heard Lyon utter out "Deliora was already dead for 10 years Ur had gradually drained the demon's life force and what we just saw were nothing more than it's last dying breaths.

My dream is dead there's no hope now I will never surpass Ur" and Natsu turned to Grey and said "man your teacher was pretty awesome." Grey while crying said "you saved my life again thank you Ur" while we were just standing around down in the cave in the aftermath of the possibility of being killed Erza, Lucy, and Happy met us down there.

The funniest thing so far was Natsu not noticing Erza was there for about a minute and then trying to run when he finally noticed. While standing on the ledge of the island after getting out of the cave Natsu cheered "oh yeah we won" and Lucy said to Grey "you know I was worried there for a while but it all worked out thanks to your amazing teacher."

Natsu was more excited over 'finishing an S-class quest' while Erza was giving all of us a death stare and after a moment of Lucy freaking out Erza said "isn't there something you're all forgetting about. You came to this island to help the villagers the request was for you to return them to their original forms you still haven't completed your S-class quest yet."

Lucy said "but I don't understand the curse should be lifted now that Deliora is dead" and Erza said "wrong this curse you keep talking about never had anything to do with the demon. The villagers have been affected by the intense magical energy created by the moon drip spell Deliora's death won't change their situation whatsoever."

Natsu said "well then we'd better go change them back" but Grey said "yeah but we don't know how to do it" and looked over at Lyon who was resting against a rock and said "Lyon do you know." He said "to be honest I don't have a clue" and Natsu said "you don't know" and Lucy said "but they told us the curse began around the same time you guys got here."

Lyon said "when we arrived three years ago we were aware there was a village somewhere on this island but we had no reason to communicate with the villagers so we left them alone and they never came to the temple to see what we were up to." Erza in disbelief said "in three years you've never even met" and Lucy said "but the moon drip is so bright you can see it practically from anywhere on the island.

It's kind of weird they saw it every night but never went to investigate" and Lyon said "the villagers weren't transformed by the moon drip it doesn't affect the human body." Natsu said "yeah right you're just saying that so you and your lackies are off the hook" and I said "no I don't think so I mean if he's been doing the moon drip every night then he had to have been exposed to it and you don't see him with a mutation."

Lyon said with a begrudging tone in his voice "I was just going to say the same thing" and Lucy said "oh yeah it's true" and Lyon stated "I wouldn't trust them those villagers are hiding something but I'm sure you guild wizards can handle it." Natsu then said "We're not done with you yet you destroyed the village" and Erza grabbed him by the face to make him shut up.

Erza then said "there were simply doing what they thought was right so there's no need to criticize them for it let's go" and she started walking away. Natsu said "but what are we going to do to lift the curse" and she said "I have no idea." As we started following her Lucy said "oh great" while Grey stayed behind with Lyon for a moment most likely to talk for a minute but we were out of earshot.

After we got back to what appeared to be a storage area there was no one in the storage area and Natsu said "are you sure they came here." Lucy said "yeah this has been their camp I wonder where they could have gone" and one of the villagers came running to where we were after Grey went into a tent to grab bandages and some medicine and the villagers said "you finally made it back there's something you need to see please follow me to the village."

As we got there we saw everything was exactly how it had been before Lyon's lackies had dumped the acid jelly on the island. Lucy said "wow are you kidding me" and Happy said "yesterday it was total mess and now it looks perfect." Natsu for some reason was pounding on one of the walls while saying "what's going on here everything looks exactly how it did it's like the village went back in time."

Lucy then muttered in Natsu's direction "now that it's fixed you probably shouldn't touch anything" and he said in outrage "are you saying I destroy everything I touch" and Lucy responded with "well kind of." I said "wait Natsu reel it back a second what did you say about the village" and he said "that it's like it went back in time" and then I had a realization and I looked at Natsu and said "you don't think" and Natsu said "it was him nah it couldn't be unless he had a change of heart."

He then turned around and said "ah who cares" and Happy said "not me" and Lucy seemed to be lost as she said after him "what are you talking about" and I said "me and Natsu fought this guy that could control time around any object he chooses." As Lucy and walked over to where the chief was kneeling by his son's grave he said "you and your wizard friends used magic to restore our village didn't you" and Lucy then tried to tell him it wasn't us.

He however ignored her and said "I can't tell you much I appreciate it but I must know when are you wizards finally going to destroy the moon for us well." Erza then stepped forward and said "destroying the moon is a simple task sir but before I do that, I need to ask you all a few questions would you be so kind as to call everyone for a meeting."

After asking everyone a few questions Erza said "okay so let me make sure I have my facts straight the first time everyone in the village took on these demonic forms is when the moon first turned purple is that correct." The chief said "yes during the day we're fine but when the moon comes out we transform into what you see now."

Erza then asked "and the first time the moon turned purple was 3 years ago right" and one of the villagers said "wow has it really been that long" and another said "yeah." Erza then stated "we learned the moon drip ceremony has been performed on this island for the last 3 years and each night it produced a beam of light so brilliant you couldn't have missed it" and she then stepped onto Lucy's pitfall trap."

Happy said "wow even Lucy's pitfall trap is back" and Natsu added on "she screamed like a girl" and Grey added on "and it was kind of cute." Lucy then freaked out in the background "I'm so going to be dead meat when she get's out" and Erza simply climbed out as if nothing had happened." She continued her questions "seriously didn't you ever wonder where that light was coming from I don't understand why didn't anyone investigate.

The chief said "well we would have looked into it but according to village lore we must never go near that temple." Lucy said "who cares about village lore when everyone is dying you obviously knew there was a problem because you contacted the magic guilds." The chief said "well" in a slow way and Erza said "why don't you tell what's really going on here" and the chief started the tale.

To be honest we don't even know that ourselves allow me to explain we've tried to investigate the light many times. We'd take up weapons we never had to use I'd trim and style my sideburns and we'd travel through the jungle towards the temple. But we could never get near it we would get close enough that we could see it through the trees and then suddenly we'd find ourselves back at the village gates."

Lucy said "but how's that possible it doesn't make sense" and Natsu said "we got to the temple with no problem at all how weird." One of the villagers said "We didn't say anything earlier because we were afraid you wouldn't believe us." Another said "we're not lying to you we tried going back to the temple several times" and another finished for him "but not a single villager has ever been able to get inside."

Erza said "I get it yes" and then she started walking forward and while doing so requipped into a primary yellow and blue armor with white fur in three spots. She said "Natsu come with me I'll need your help to destroy the moon" and Natsu actually seemed excited to follow this order.

Yet another chapter done in the next chapter we'll be going over the events of episode 18 title burst which I said I would be covering in this if I didn't get enough data but with 3125 words in this chapter I feel I collected enough data for this chapter alone I know that the fight between Ben and Natsu against Zalty is somewhat similar to Ultimate Fairy I feel I did put my own spin on it enough that it shouldn't be considered stealing.
