Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we'll be going over episode 18 titled reach the sky above which if memory serves me due to the lack of action in this episode this chapter might be a little bit short. Anyway I don't have anything else to add so without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Ben's P.O.V.

After requipping into what she called Giant's armor Erza addressed Natsu "Natsu we're going to destroy the moon" and Natsu with excitement in his voice said "Really." Everyone else including me was shocked that she thought that she could do it even with Natsu's help but if it failed I guess I would have been able to do it with Alien X or at least remove the curse with Alien X since I had the ability to fully control it at this point in my hero's journey.

Erza then said "it's the only way we can change the villagers back to their human forms" and the whole of the village cheered at what she said. Natsu then asked Erza "where should we go do you think we should go to the top of the temple it's much higher up there." Erza said "we'll do it from here the villagers can't go near the temple and they need to witness this."

Grey said "I don't know what she's thinking I mean she can do some pretty incredible things but still" and Lucy asked "so what do you think she's going to do to it." Happy the chimed in and said "this is exciting huh" and Lucy said "more like terrifying" and Erza then addressed the villagers "this is Giant's armor it increases my strength and allows me to throw further.

She then held out a hand and a magic circle appeared in front of it before a wicked looking spear appeared in her hands. She then said "and this is the spear of ha-ja it repels darkness" and Natsu said "wow I see what you're planning now you're going to use that spear to knock the moon out of the sky." Erza then said "that's right but I'm going to need more strength than this armor can give me so Natsu I'm going to need to use your fire power as a boost.

When I'm about to throw it I want you to hit it with your flames we'll have to time our attack perfectly but I think you can give me more than enough power to do the job." Natsu said "sounds like a plan to me" and the climbed up to the top of a watch tower and with the throw from Erza and the boost from Natsu the combination caused the whole top of the watch tower to blow up and thus removing the cover.

As the spear apparently struck the moon it started cracking and I said "okay how in the world did a throw even though it was boosted with Natsu's firepower do what one of my strongest aliens could do." Just as the cracks continued the shattered to reveal the moon was still there and everyone was shocked that it was still there.

Natsu then asked the big question "what the heck is going on" and Erza explained "as a result of the spell a noxious membrane was covering the island." Natsu still didn't get it "what" and Erza dumbed down her explaination which was good because I didn't get it either. "the moon drip released evil energy in the form of a gas that gas crystalized and created an invisible shell in the sky and covered the island.

That's why the moon looked purple here now that the shell has broken everything will go back to how it was three years ago." The villagers then had a glowing yellow energy emitting from them as if they were being turned back to human only as the light energy faded nothing had happened. Grey said "what's wrong they're not transforming" and Erza then walked up to us in her normal armor and said "that's because these are they're true forms.

The moon drip never had any affect on their appearance however it seems to have altered their memories" and Lucy didn't get it and said "what do you mean." I then answered "they think they're humans who were turned into demons but in reality they're demons with the ability to take on human form" and Erza then said "I couldn't have explained it better myself."

Lucy then asked "wait then why weren't Lyon and the others affected" and Erza said "I assume it's because they're human as far as I can tell demons were the only ones susceptible to the memory loss. I knew what was going on as soon as the villagers told me they couldn't go to the temple the moon light gathered there was sacred.

Creatures of darkness couldn't go near it" and then a voice came from behind us "you're some detective I knew I could trust you and your friends' thanks wizards I owe you one." We turned around and saw that it was the guy who originally took us to the island in the first place and Lucy was freaking out because she thought it was ghost and Grey said "you're the guy from the boat."

As the chief and some of the other villagers were getting over their shock and one said "Bobo but I thought you" and he cut the villagers off "getting stabbed in the chest hurt pretty bad but you have to do more than that to kill a demon." Grey said "but you disappeared all of a sudden" and he jumped high into the sky and said "I hope you kids can forgive me for not telling you the truth earlier I was the only one without any memory loss but I had to leave because everyone else had gone nuts.

I knew I was a demon but everyone else thought they were cursed humans and then the chief of the village who had tears in his eyes sprouted wings and flew up and hugged Bobo. That was shortly followed by everyone else in the village except us sprouting wings and flying up and cheering about having Bobo back.

Erza then said "yep they're defiantly demons alright" and Natsu came up to us after finally climbing down from the watch tower and said "I don't know if you look at their faces they kind of look like angels to me." Some of the villagers were saying about a party and feast and Lucy said "I don't know if I'm rowdy enough to party with demons and Happy said "me either."

I said "come on it can't be any wilder than a party at the guild hall" and she said "well you're right about that." Pretty much every female in the village was getting to know Grey a little better since they must have though he was hot while Natsu instead of eating much of the food was just eating mostly fire while I did try a little of everything on the table since it was the politest thing to do.

The chief who was sitting at the table we were sitting at seemly randomly said "I have to admit I was wrong about humans all of these years we've chosen to hide from the outside world we were so worried everyone would judge us because of our appearance." Bobo the chimed in "you know the curse that was just a rumor we spread so no one would come to the island and bother us."

Lucy said "well it worked because the sailors at the dock were terrified nobody wanted to come here" and the chief said "I know and it's a shame but after meeting you we changed our minds you've restored our faith in humans and we're not afraid we're ready to go out and meet people from other lands." Erza then stated "that's good friendship is a beautiful thing it's an emotional bond that transcends one's physical appearance."

While the party was still going on two of the flunkies the three of us had taken care of before walked into the village and everyone went silent. Erza stood up and addressed them "how can I help you" and Yuka said "you Fairy Tailers are tough the cold emperor is so banged up that he couldn't make it down here."

Sherry then said "that's why we've come to pay you a visit in his place" and Lucy then stood up and asked them "wait I thought we were cool didn't Lyon tell you what happened." Yuka said "yes but that doesn't matter to us" and Sherry said "we wanted to settle things with you ourselves." As Natsu was about to attack them Bobo said "wait Natsu thanks for the help but we can't keep relying on you so let us fight them."

One of the other villagers said "he's right we got these clowns" and yet another villager said "he's right if we want to protect our village, we have to do it ourselves." Erza then said "normally I would agree with you gentlemen but I think it's best if I take this one" and Sherry said "so we meet again Titania of Fairy tail you gave Angelica quite the beating earlier."

Yuka then added on "she seems like a formidable opponent" and both Lucy and Natsu pretty much told Erza what each of these two could do. Erza said "is that so well in that case I'll do it the old-fashioned way" and she charged at Sherry and kicked her to the ground and then punched Yuka to the ground in pretty much one fluid movement.

As everyone except me was surprised by that Happy said "that's the great Erza for ya" and Lucy sighed to him "would you cut that out." As the two flunkies were getting up Sherry said "wow you are an amazing warrior" and Yuka said "no kidding we're no match for you." Lucy then said in shock "wait so you're not here to attack us" and Yuka said "I doubt this is going to make up for all the trouble we caused you but we wanted to apologize in person."

Happy said what everyone was thinking "oh so you came to settle things in a good way" and Sherry said "the cold emperor told us everything thanks to you we can finally let go of all the pain Deliora caused us so many years ago." Grey then asked "wait so you were victims of Deliora too" and Yuka said "when we were children a monster ravaged our village.

We watched it murder all of our friends and family" and Sherry said "the cold emperor had a plan to kill the demon once and for all that's why we joined him." Yuka then said "you see we wanted revenge and we were so focused on getting it that we didn't realize we were hurting innocent people. Sherry then added "we were so blinded by our hatred that we ended up acting no better than the demon itself from now on we'll treat people with respect and love."

Natsu then got behind them and said "Alright then why don't you stick around and join the feast" and when he was looking at Yuka he said "but we were enemies just a minute ago" and when he looked at Sherry she said "I don't think it's a good idea I'm trying to watch my figure" and Natsu said "Enough with the excuses and live a little won't ya" and he dragged them to the table he had been eating fire at.

(the next morning)

Natsu who was eating the left over fire from the night before asked "so where did eyebrows and Loco go" and Happy responded "like typical party guests they stuffed their faces and took off." As we were getting ready to leave the chief tried to give the payment to Erza but she declined it and the chief said "what but miss you deserve the reward so take it please" and Erza responded "thank you but your gratitude is payment enough."

The chief said "that's nice but you should take the payment" and Erza said "I can't because your request was never officially accepted by the guild it fell into the hands of foolish wizards trying to prove themselves." The chief said "foolish as they may be if it weren't for them we would never have been saved what if I give you the money not as a reward but as a thank you gift it's the least I can do after everything you have done for our village."

Erza then said "when you put it that way it's hard to say no but I'm sorry accepting your reward would be contrary to our guilds principles however we'd be happy to take the gate key you offered along with it." While Grey and Natsu were flabbergasted at that Lucy was excited for getting another golden key and Bobo said "well at least let me take you back to Hargeon."

Erza said "thank you but I already have a boat waiting sir" and the boat she was talking about was actually a pirate ship and while Grey repeated what I'm pretty sure everyone was thinking Lucy said "Are you kidding me did she hijack it." The crew of the pirate ship were cheering for Erza and when Lucy in a questioning tone said "me beauty" and Erza said "yes they've become quite fond of me."

The captain of the ship said "come aboard my maties" and Lucy said "I don't want to I'm not riding on that creepy boat" and Natsu said "if you want to swim I'll join ya" and Lucy asked him "are you insane." I thought I would have to use one of my fliers to get Natsu and Lucy on board but the crew put down a boarding plank and Lucy started going up it while dragging Natsu."

After a significantly shorter boat ride then to Galuna island and a short train ride we were walking through the streets of Magnolia. Natsu then said in relief "we're home" and Happy said "aye sir" and Grey said "I'm bummed all the time and hard work for some lousy gate key." Happy then chimed in "yeah and that S-class reward was big time money" and Erza said "well sorry but it wasn't an official job just be glad you got something."

Lucy then said "she's got a point now quit your complaining" and Happy said "that's easy for you to say you actually got a reward" and as he flew over to her "can we sell it." Lucy said "how could you even suggest that Happy you guys just don't get it they're hard to come by of course there's lots of silver gate keys but are one 12 gold zodiac keys and I'm lucky enough to have five."

Natsu then looked back at her and said "too bad they're all crazy" and she said "you better watch it punk me and my zodiac spirits are going to be stronger than you some day." Grey then added on "so which of the zodiac keys did you end up getting" it's Sagittarius the centaur" and Erza said "you're all so carefree it's like you've forgotten that you face punishment when we get back to the guild."

Natsu said "but why" and Lucy added on "everything worked out in the end so can't we just forget the whole punishment thing." Erza said "you're right everything worked out but only because I went there and finished the job that none of you were qualified to do. Stealing an S-class request is a serious offense" and Lucy said "we said we're sorry" and Erza said "if you promise to never do it again, I don't think you need to be penalized by the guild.

Unfortunately I don't have any say in the matter your fate is in master Makarov's hands so I'm sure you'll be facing punishment." Happy said "I'm scared you think he's going to make us do that" and Grey squatted down and said "just kill me now I don't think I can live through that again." Lucy then said "don't let him scare ya I'll talk the old man out of punishing us that guy loves me" and Lucy said "I don't know if you should do that talking."

Erza said "Natsu you can't talk your way of this one good luck with that" and he started sweating profusely before Erza grabbed him by the back of his vest and started dragging him along while he was trying to get us to help him out.

Yet another chapter done in the next chapter we'll be going over episode 21 titled the phantom lord which I have a very good reason for skipping 19 and 20 which is because of the simple fact they're just filler episodes. Originally I was going to do changeling but I decided against it for the simple fact that I don't want to have the headache that comes with Changeling and 20 is just a flashback episode so I wouldn't be able to get much data in that one.

However, I can say I'm perfectly happy with the fact that we're finally done with the Galuna island arc in this story. I'm just glad I've got only one more story that includes the Galuna island arc which I think I'm halfway through. Anyway I don't have anything else to add so until next time this is Diamondholder signing off.
