Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with another chapter. In this chapter we'll be going over the events of episode 19 titled changeling even though I said in the last chapter that we weren't going to be going over this episode and getting right into the phantom lord arc.

The reason I decided to do this chapter is because the person who posted this story idea to me Menatron the angel of ideas thought that the actual spell that changes everyone's minds around would be a good way of foreshadowing Charmcaster who will appear later on. I'm just going to say this chapter will get confusing but to put it simply I'm going to be putting what the characters say as themselves. Anyway, I don't have anything else to add so without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Ben's P.O.V.

As we got to the guild hall Erza pretty much opened the door with enough force that if anything were in the way it would have shattered. The instant we were in there she said "is master Makarov here." Mira then walked over to where we were and said "you're finally back from your island getaway so how was it did you have fun."

Erza responded "it was work not a vacation" and Lucy who still seemed to be scared of Erza when she was angry said to Mira "uh Mirajane I wouldn't joke with her right now." Erza then said "where is Makarov" and Macao said "he went out of town for some last minute council meeting or something like that he's been gone since yesterday."

With that news came a sigh of relief from Natsu, Grey, and Happy and Natsu said "wow that's a relief" and Grey said "yes we won't have to deal with that until gramps get back." Happy then chimed in "oh thank goodness I wasn't ready to stare death in the face and only have 8 more lives." Their postering about that was freaking Lucy out as she said "you guys are seriously freaking me out how is he going to punish us I can't die yet I'm still young and have so much to look forward to.

Erza then gave them what I had dubbed as her death stare and said in a very firm voice "All of you shut up" and then to Mira "do you know when the master is suppose to return." Mira replied "no but I think he should be back any time now" and then Erza addressed us "now listen up you fools you're not getting off the hook.

You broke guild rules by taking on that S-class quest prepare to be punished" and Wakaba who was always with Macao said "well it was nice knowing ya." Natsu called me over to the job request board to show me a weird looking request and it was a simple flier that was all black with white righting on it and it said on is read this and 500,000 jewel.

Loke then came up and said "oh you guys are back what's up" and then Natsu said "nothing much man what the heck I can't even read it." Lucy then walked up behind us and said "read what" and Loke started freaking out "wow you're back too Lucy" in a scared voice. In a sarcastic tone Lucy responded to him "wow it's really nice to see you too" and then got up in his face and said "what is your problem with me."

Loke then started stammering until decided to just book it unfortunately for him he ran right into Erza who walked right into him and with the armor and the speed he was trying to get away caused him to get knocked out." Erza then said "no way you're not taking any job requests" and Natsu for once actually ignored Erza and started reading the creepy looking request as he called it.

"decipher this text and I'll increase your wealth by 500,000 jewel" and then looked at Happy and said "this one seems like a winner to me what you think." Happy responded "sure does" and Grey chimed in "so it's a translation job that's a weird request for a guild" and then he took a closer look "wait that's some weird ancient stuff no one's going to be able to read it" and Happy then said "wait it's written in modern letters too."

I then took a closer look at it and said "I recognize some of these symbols" and Natsu said "well what do the ones that you recognize say." I said "I don't know I just know that they're in my cousin's spell book back in my dimension I never bothered to try to read this language before." Erza then said "I thought I told you no jobs" and then Natsu said "oh yeah, I can totally read that let's see here.

Ugo deru rasuchi boro kania what the that's crazy" and then the flier then started glowing magenta before switching between magenta and all the other colors of the rainbow. As the flier stopped glowing Grey was shivering and said "so cold" while holding his forearms like most people who get cold easily do.

Elfman then said "what ice wizards don't get cold you big crybaby" and Grey then said "I'm serious you guys would someone turn up the heat before I freeze to death." Now that I thought about it Grey's voice seemed a little higher than it normally did" and then Lucy whose voice sounded like she was trying to imitate a guy's voice said "what's going on my chest feels really weird all of a sudden like it's heavy.

My back's killing me" and Macao said "hey are you feeling alright Lucy you voice seems kind of low" and then Grey said in his higher voice "what are you talking about I uh" and then Lucy noticed that she was starring at herself without a mirror "what the." Loke then said "that's weird I don't remember laying down on the floor like that" and Natsu said "weird I thought I was the one laying on the floor" and he was sparkling.

Then he got a look at Lucy's body who I figured was actually Grey's consciousness in it and Natsu who I figured had gotten changed with Loke and started running away. I said "so the spell on that flier switched all of us that were huddled around it into another body. I then looked down and saw that I was wearing armor and realized that I had been switched to Erza and I then said with uncertainty in my voice "Erza" and then my body responded by looking at me and said "Ben."

I said "man I can't believe I've been switched with a women again" and then Erza said "this is a new experience for me but don't you dare try messing around with my magic. Knowing how our luck has been so far if you were to try using my magic my body would end up naked for all to see." I then held Erza's hands up in a placating gesture and said "wow I don't mess around with anything that I know nothing about anymore.

Now if this were ten year old me then yeah I probably would have but I've learned not to mess with things I know nothing about more times than I can count." Grey then said "so wait we've switched bodies" and I said "yes if I were to guess the only one who wasn't affected was Happy because there were an odd number of us around the table and the spell chose to exempt him from it's effects for some reason.

From what I've seen so far those who have been switched are Natsu and Loke, Grey and Lucy, and Erza and myself." Everyone with the exception of Erza and myself started freaking out. Then Makarov's voice came from the doorway and he said "the ancient unpela-ese spell has been cast you kids aren't feeling like yourselves today eh."

As everyone walked up to him he said "I had noticed that request on the board by reading what was on that page aloud you've cast a powerful spell a personality transference and that spell is called the changeling." Lucy then said "wow that sounds scary" and Grey then put a hand on Loke's shoulder and said "so you're really Natsu right."

He said "yeah" and Grey grabbed him by the lapels of Loke's jacket and said "you idiot what did you do to us" and Natsu then got in Grey's face and said "I just tried to read the stupid job request would someone please turn on the lights come on" and I then said "if it's dark for you maybe remove the sunglasses you're wearing" and he got a confused look on his face and then pulled the sunglasses off and blinked a few times.

He then said "oh yeah that's a lot better" and Makarov then said to Grey was still holding Natsu by Loke's jacket "that's enough Lucy uh Grey for wizards this spell switches more than just your bodies it switches magic as well." After everyone gasped in shock Makarov continued "there's one thing you should know if the changeling spell isn't undone within 30 minutes from the time when it was initially cast you will never return to the way you were before or so says the legend at least."

Natsu then ran up to Mira and said "do you know how many minutes we've been switched for" and Mira then said "16 so you have 14 left." Natsu then turned to Makarov and said "Gramps isn't there a way to lift the spell and change us back." Makarov said "since this is such an ancient kind of magic it would stand to reason that I don't know" and I knew either he was less intelligent than he let on or he was fucking with us.

I then said "okay let's try something Erza I need you to bring the Omnitrix over to the flier" and she then said "uh sure." As she started standing by me I then tried to activate the Omnitrix only for it to beep in an unaffirmative manner. She said "what's wrong you've never had a problem activating it before" and I said "damn the safeguards prevent anyone from activating the Omnitrix unless it's me."

She then said "okay how do I activate it" and I said "okay place two fingers over the top" and she did so and the familiar holowheel appeared. I said "okay that's good for a started now start scrolling through the forms slowly so I can tell you which one to turn into for my idea to work." She then did so and luckily it only took 5 different forms to find the one I was looking for and I said "that one."

She said "okay how do I select it" and I said "just remove your fingers from the holowheel and the core should pop up and when it does push it back down." She did so and after the familiar flash of green light I had helped her turn into Grey matter and she said "so what was the point of turning me into this form" and I said "well that form is one of the smartest beings in my universe and with your intellect already being way ahead of mine in this world I was thinking maybe you could figure out how to reverse the spell."

She then said "oh sounds like a plan" and then she looked up and said "how do I get up there" and I said "along with being super smart that form can jump better than most frogs." She then jumped onto the bench and then up onto the table and started looking over the flier and after a few minutes she said "well there's good news and bad news." Lucy said "what's the good news" and Erza said "this isn't the changeling spell" and Grey then said "and what's the bad news."

She said "this spell isn't from our world it's from Ben's universe or world" and I stood there in shock and she jumped down just as the Omnitrix timed out." I then said "I might have a way to fix us since I have this wasn't caused by this worlds magic and then I said to Erza "okay hold the Omnitrix out to me." She did so and I said "Omnitrix voice command mode" and the Omnitrix responded "that mode is locked and unavailable."

I then said "command function override code ten" and it said "command code accepted voice command mode unlocked." I then said "can you return consciousnesses back into our original bodies" and it remained silent for a second and then said "that command can only be activated if everyone affected is in the same area."

I then looked around and said "okay where's Loke" and then everyone looked around and Makarov said "oh was he the one who was switched with Natsu I guess that makes sense why Natsu's body was running through town trying to get a date." I said "okay would someone please go get him so we can get this done and over with" and then Elfman ran out the door and started heading in the direction Loke had went with Natsu's body."

(15 minutes later)

Elfman finally got back while dragging Natsu's body behind him and said "it's a good thing Loke doesn't know how to use Natsu's magic that well or I would still be fighting him. I managed to knock him out so now he won't run away again because he's in close proximity to a celestial spirit mage." I then said "Omnitrix revert all changes to affected people" and after a bright showing of green that lasted for a couple minutes I opened my eyes and saw that I was holding my arm out with the Omnitrix.

I then said "everyone in the right body" and everyone confirmed they were in the right body I grabbed the request and went to Mirajane who was standing behind the bar and said "I've got a suspicion of who might have left this one here while were gone but if you can could you give me any details of what they looked like."

She looked up at the ceiling for a moment as if she were trying to remember something and then said "oh yeah she had white hair and violet eyes" and I asked "did you get a good look at what she was wearing." Mira responded "no she had a cloak wrapped around her from the neck down so I couldn't see what she was wearing" and I said "well if the person is who I think it is then we're going to have multiple run-ins with her in the future and this was just her idea of a prank.

Yet another chapter done in then next chapter we'll be going over the events of episode 21 of Fairy tail titled the phantom lord. Again I'm skipping episode 20 because of the simple fact it's pretty much a flashback or prologue whatever you want to call it so there's no data there for a chapter that involves Ben.

Menatron did mention I could have Mavis appear early and tell Ben the story of how Natsu found Happy but if I have Mavis appear this early on it kind of defeats the purpose that she was able to Astro-project to the members of the guild after the 7-year time skip and how she was able to Astro-project herself due to the strong bond between the guild members which is shown when they face their death against Agnalogia.

If you didn't know that Agnalogia essentially killed then no offense but what are you doing here reading a crossover when you haven't seen the full series of Fairy tail. Anyway I don't have anything else to add so until next time this is Diamondholder signing off.
