Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this story so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we're going to be going over the events of episode 21 of Fairy tail titled the phantom lord. I have a few plans for this and future episodes of the phantom lord arc but one of the plans will be implemented in this chapter if I'm right about what happens in this episode.

Now onto a review from a guest who doesn't have an account you know who you are yes Charmcaster has her alien force/ultimate alien outfit. Anyway I don't have anything else to say so without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Ben's P.O.V.

We were walking back into the town from a job we took to help Lucy pay her rent and for me to save up towards getting a house instead of just staying in the guild hall all the time. as we were walking Natsu said "man was that an awesome job or what" and Happy said "the client seemed to think so." Grey stated "face it you guys are just lucky I decided to come along" and Natsu rebutted "we're lucky you begged to come with us how do you figure."

Grey then threw shade to Natsu "because you were about as helpful as one of Erza's suitcases" and Natsu angrily retorted "you better watch your mouth or I'll pack you like a suitcase" and Grey reasoned "that doesn't even make any sense." Erza pushed them away from each other by the heads and said "that's enough boys" and to Grey "now please get dressed."

He freaked out over losing his clothes which didn't surprise me anymore with how often it happened and I would have thought it wouldn't have surprised him either. Lucy then said "sorry to break up your conversation but when I took this job I was thinking it would be a solo mission so why did you all have to come along" and she held up the flier which showed a reward of 500 jewel in the corner of the flier.

Natsu said "aw come on isn't it obvious" and Lucy responded "no I don't think so" and Natsu replied "we're fairy tail's strongest team so we got to stick together." Happy responded with his usual "aye sir" and Grey said "don't you forget it" and Erza made a noise that said she agreed with what they were saying."

Lucy looked puzzled for a second before saying "yeah we are" and Natsu then boasted "no job is too tough not for me Happy, Erza, Ben and old droopy drawers here." Grey said in a subdued voice "don't call me that" and Erza said "We are quite a capable bunch and then I realized what Natsu said and that he didn't include Lucy in the group when he said our names.

As I was about to point that out she said to him in disbelief "you forgot about me" and Natsu responded "aw lighten up I'm just messing with you loopy." Lucy said "well I don't appreciate it and that's not my name" and then as we continued walking everyone in town was staring at us and muttering amongst themselves.

Grey said "why are they staring" and Happy added on "it's not the good kind of staring" and Erza threw in "like it's stares of pity." We were close enough to where we would have been able to see the guild hall although there was something wrong with it. There were these poles of some kind of material that I couldn't make out yet sticking out of it in multiple places.

As we got right up to it I could identify the material as some kind of metal and Grey said "no way" and Erza added on "what happened to it." Natsu who was in front of all of us in anger said "our guild someone did this to our guild" and Erza questioned no one in particular "but who would do such a thing" and Mira who was behind us said "it was phantom."

Grey said "Are you serious" and Natsu with anger still in his voice said "you mean phantom did this" and Mira with sadness in her voice said "we couldn't do anything to stop them they got us good." We went down to the basement which due to the metal poles sticking out all over the upper levels it was pretty much all that was left where we could do anything.

As we walked up to Makarov who was sitting on a crate and already seemed to be drunk which considering what had happened I wasn't really surprised. While slurring his words but still able to be understood Makarov said "yo what's up kids" and Lucy said "uh hi" and Erza apologized "I'm sorry we weren't back sooner."

Natsu said "why the heck are you all just sitting around down here" and Makarov obviously either ignored Natsu or was too drunk to care about it and said "Lucy did you finish the job like a good girl" while still slurring his words. She said in surprise "yeah I guess so" and Erza said "master do you understand the gravity of this situation."

Natsu said "yeah the guild hall has been completely destroyed" and Makarov said "there's no need to get yourselves all worked up it's not the end of the world or anything." Grey questioned "what" and Makarov said "just goes to show you how cowardly those dunderheads in the phantom lord guild really are they struck when no one was here is that anything worth bragging about."

Erza asked "no one was here" and Mira said "it was after everyone left for the night" and Erza stated "I suppose we can be grateful for that as least no one in our guild was hurt in the attack." Makarov said "we shouldn't trouble ourselves about people who don't even have the guts to face us head on forget about those fools."

Natsu punched a crate into pieces and said "not going to happen gramps we can't just let them trash our place and get away with it." Makarov said "I'm not talking about this any longer we'll take job requests down here until the upstairs is repaired." Natsu still trying to convince Makarov to take action said "we shouldn't be worrying about job requests" and Makarov said "Natsu that's enough out of you" and for some reason he extended his arm and slapped Lucy on the ass.

Lucy said "and you spanked me why" and Mira seemingly angry with Makarov said "hands to yourself master" and he retracted his arm and then jumped down and ran to a corner. Natsu said "where are you going" and he said "keep your dress on I have to take a leak" and Natsu said "I don't understand why he's being like this" and Mira said "listen this is just as hard on him as it is on you.

He's mad but conflict between the guilds is strictly forbidden by the council" and Natsu still angrily replied "but those phantom creeps started it." Mira said "I know but that doesn't matter" and Erza said "if the master's decision is to not retaliate then we must respect it."

(that night)

As Lucy was getting ready to leave Natsu grabbed me and pulled me along after gathering Grey and Erza and I said "okay where are we going." He said "we're all staying at Lucy's house" and I said "without asking her first" and he said "I do it all the time" and I said "okay why are all of us staying the night over there" and Erza said "safety in numbers there's a chance there are still phantom lord members in town and we don't want anyone to be attacked.

As we were sitting around the table that Lucy had in the apartment when she got home and then she hit Natsu with the suitcase and said "why are you here." Erza then explained to her what she explained to me and Grey said "they probably figured out where everyone in towns lives by now." Lucy started freaking out and Grey said "Mira said we'd be safer if we stayed together, you know strength in numbers.

Lucy said "I guess she's right" and Happy said "that's why everyone in Fairy tail is having a slumber party tonight" and Erza said "you're an attractive teenage girl after all and I wasn't entirely comfortable with you being here with just Grey and Natsu, so I decided I'd come along too as it was the only way I could relax.

Natsu said "this is no time to relax" and Lucy then said "so it was already decided these two would stay with me." I said "more like they decided and just dragged me along and Erza as she said came along by her own choice." Happy and Plue, Lucy's celestial spirit dog thing wandered off and while Plue was sucking on a lollipop Happy was rooting through Lucy clothes and said "man Lucy you have a lot of dirty laundry."

She said "stay out of my stuff" and Natsu then said to Plue "hey Plue did you find something yummy to eat come on don't hog it all" and Plue drug out a box that was filled with sweets. Happy then said to Erza "look Erza I found some frilly panties you might like" and Erza said "I can't believe you'd actually wear something like this Lucy" and Grey said "I'm going to try to get some shut eye so could you keep it down."

Lucy then said "you guys are taking this make yourselves at home thing a little to seriously" and Erza said "we have a serious problem here you boys hygiene I refuse to sleep in a room that reeks of sweat." I said "wow I just took a shower this morning" and Erza said "that's fine I wasn't including you" and then Natsu said "I don't want to take a bath right now" and Grey threw in "but I already got into bed."

Erza then said "come on boys do we have to take a bath together like when we were kids" and Lucy said "what kind of weird relationship do you guys have" and I added on "I was about to ask the same thing." After both Erza and Lucy had a bath Lucy said to Natsu "okay I'm all done you're up Natsu" but he was sleeping after a sugar crash with his head on the table."

She then looked at Grey and said "you want to take his spot Grey" but he was too interesting in reading through a stack of papers. After a moment Erza requipped into pajamas and Lucy said "is that really how you change your clothes" and after sitting down at the table Lucy asked Erza "do you have any idea why phantom attacked us out of the blue like that."

Erza said "I'm afraid not we've had our fair share of scuffles with them in the past but never anything on this kind of magnitude before." Natsu who seemed to have woken up said "if gramps weren't so afraid of them, we could take out those punks once and for all." Grey then said "come on you know master isn't afraid of them Natsu you seem to be forgetting he's one of the ten wizard saints."

Lucy then noticed he was reading something and said "I never gave you permission to read that give it to me" and snatched it from his hands. He said "you can't snatch it from my hands without telling me what happens next" and Lucy said "yes I can I promised Levy she could be the first to read it so you're just going to have to wait."

Erza then held out her hand as if expecting Lucy to give her the stack of papers and Lucy said "you're not getting it either. So what's these ten wizard saints anyway" and Erza explained "it's an honor bestowed by the magic council and extremely coveted title held by the 10 most powerful wizards on the continent" and Lucy who seemed to be in disbelief said "really" and Happy added in "phantom lords master José is one of them too."

Natsu the said "he is scared of them he thinks they have too many members for us to handle" and Grey said "that is not true and you know it. It's just like the master and Mira said before the consequences of us going to war with phantom are no where near worth the fight the order of the magical world is at stake here."

I said "hold on we took down that dark guild before how would this be any different" and Erza then said "jobs that say to take down dark guilds appear in guild halls all over the continent more often then not by the magic council themselves. As far as the council is concerned phantom lord is a legal guild" and Lucy said "I still don't understand why are they really that strong."

Natsu said "they got nothing on us we could take those clowns" and Erza said "no if we were to engage them in battle neither side would survive they're strength equals ours. Phantoms master José is also one of the 10 wizard saints which means he's on par with Makarov. They also have a elite group of wizards similar to our S-class called the element four however they're biggest threat may be black steel Gajeel I believe he's most likely the one behind the guild halls destruction he's known as the iron dragon slayer."

Lucy in shock said "he's a dragon slayer too I thought Natsu was the only one so if he's the iron dragon slayer does that mean he eats iron."

(the next morning)

As were leaving Lucy's apartment we heard someone in town say to one of their friends "did you hear about those wizards that were beat up and bolted to a tree. Everyone else must have heard them too because Erza walked over to them and said "where did that happen" and the guy who mentioned it first said "uh I heard it was in Southgate Park."

We ran over there and only started walking at a brisk pace through the crowd of people who were there and Erza said "We're from their guild please let us through." As we got to the tree in the center, I saw it was Levy, Jet, and Droy who were bolted to the tree and Levy had her shirt ripped open and the phantom lord mark drawn on her stomach.

Lucy and Grey said their name while Natsu said "phantom lord did this" and Makarov then came forward and said "I can take our headquarters being reduced to rubble but I won't let harm come to my children without taking revenge" and he shattered the staff he was carrying with him and declared "we have no choice but to go to war."

I then transformed into Swampfire and used my control over plants to my advantage and had the tree remove the metal holding the three to the tree and branches to gently lower them to the ground. Erza, Grey, and Natsu each took one of them and headed toward the hospital so they could be treated for their injuries while Makarov went to rally the rest of the guild to go and fight.

The only one who wasn't part of our group was Lucy which I had a feeling that she was staying behind to look after Levy, Jet, and Droy. I knew this was probably for the best since even though with her magic we would have had a couple more people to help fight phantom lord but it would have left her wide open and depending on the spirit she summoned it's attack might have hit some our guild members.

Since I was in the front with Makarov I said "so where is their headquarters" and he said "oak town although I must ask why are you traveling with the rest of us when you could go get a headstart. I said "because I don't want the Omnitrix to run out of power in the middle of the fight that would leave me in a bit of a sticky situation."

After arriving at the phantom lord guild hall Natsu completely destroyed the front door with a fire dragon iron fist which from what I heard when the door burst apart it sounded like he managed to catch three of them in the attack meant for the door. Makarov then called out to them "Fairy tail has come calling" and some of the people in phantom lord tried charging us but were knocked either back or out cold by Natsu's attack which he didn't even call out.

He then called out "all right who wants to play with fire" and they charged at us and we started charging at them while I activated the Omnitrix and looked for my best brawler. I found the hologram and pushed the core down and transformed into Rath and then I charged in on all fours and knocked any phantom lord member away from me.

As I grabbed two of them I yelled "let me tell you something phantom lord guild, enemy of Fairy tail guild you can hurt me, the things I stand for, and even my feelings if I had any, but no body and I mean no body hurts my friends without getting a major beating" and I slammed two of them that I was holding together which caused their heads to knock against each other and both get knocked out.

I then charged at another of the phantom lord members and grabbed one and jumped up into the air from one of the tables and called out "POLARIS PILEDRIVER" and then I charged at two more and called out "ANTARIAN ARM BAR" and knocked more than the two over that I had originally been targeting and then I grabbed another and called out "OPHIUCHUS FACE-PLANT" and smashed his face into the ground.

I then picked up another one and threw him in the air and called out "SIRIUS BUTT-KICKING" and kicked him literally in the ass. Erza landed next to me in her flame empress armor and said "maybe pick a form that's a little less aggressive we want to hurt them not kill them." I then pointed at her and said "okay but not because you told me to" and I slapped the dial on my chest and transformed into Heatblast and said "whose ready to be burnt."

A large number tried to jump me but I then released a fireball above my head with my hands and spread it out which knocked the members trying to jump me out. I then saw Natsu and called out his name and shot a blast of fire at him which he grabbed out of the air and started eating and said "thanks for the grub" and then called out "Fire Dragon's Roar."

As we were dismantling phantom lord's forces Makarov went up some stairs which looked kind of funny since he was still in his giant form and he called out "Erza, Ben I'll leave the rabble to you two I'm going to fine José" and Erza said "yes sir" and I said "you got it" and I transformed again into Terraspin and then caught Erza's glance and she nodded.

I then morphed into my giant fan form and blew a large number of them toward Erza and she started slicing them down with strikes not enough to kill but enough to take them out of the fight. Then one pulled me down to the ground with a stone hand grabbing onto my shell and forcing me onto my back and they started dogpiling on me.

However much like I did with Aggregor's robots in the forge of creation I simply created a hurricane while they were on me and blew them in all directions. Using the wind created from the hurricane I landed on my feet and looked around and saw we still had some major work to do with the amount of people still standing.

Yet another chapter done in the next chapter we'll be going over episode 22 of Fairy tail titled Lucy heartfilia. I know the wrestling moves that Rath used are exactly in the same order from the alien force episode above and beyond but that was the only way I could think of to remember his wrestling move names.
