A/N: A very rare event that only ever happened once before... not only is this the fic of the month, but also the final chapter. So yeah... I do have a sequel planned but I don't know what will happen with it... either enjoy! And also cote in the poll if you haven't yet...
Chapter 10: End of the Year
Ginny was shaking. After all she was blaming herself over what happened. But no one else was…
Harry and Mabel constantly reassured her that it was fine.
"You were being controlled by an evil younger version of Moldybutt." Muttered Mabel.
"Moldybutt."" asked Ginny confused.
"Or do you prefer Voldy?" asked Mabel.
However that was when Professor McGonagall approached them.
"Pro. Dumbledore wants to talk to you with your parents." She said rather grimly.
"Can we go with her?" asked Ron knowing it was probably a good idea to have a family member there.
"Me too…" said Harry.
"same!" said Mabel.
Pro. McGonagall nodded knowing that the girl needed a lot of moral support after this.
They headed to Dumbledore's office where the Weasley Parents were waiting for them.
"Ginny!" cried their mother Molly.
She hugged her daughter very tightly and it was clear she wasn't going to let go for a while.
"I'm sorry…" cried Ginny.
"Don't worry Miss Weasley… you are not in trouble." Said Dumbledore.
"But… " said Ginny.
"You were possessed… you had no control over what happened." Saud Dumbledore.
"But…" said Ginny.
"Ginny no one blames you." Said Mabel, "Everything is going to be fine! Even if with the stabbing and poisonings."
Almost everyone looked at Mabel, though Dumbledore was chuckling at her wording.
Before anyone could say anything… Lucius Malfoy showed up.
Harry's eyes widened as he noticed a House Elf following the man.
Harry had encountered this House Elf a few times before. And he was the one who altered the bulger.
That was when Harry realized the truth of everything going on.
"Ah… Mr. Malfoy is there a reason why you're here?" asked Dumbledore.
"I have gotten word that the perpetrator has been caught." Said Lucius Malfoy.
They have." said Dumbledore, "Or rather has been destroyed."
"What?" asked Lucius Malfoy.
Dumbledore lifted up a book, "You see book held a great evil that possessed Miss Weasley."
"then the board of Governors will ensure that Miss Weasley is arrested." He practically growled out.
Dumbledore however chuckled.
"I have gotten a notice that they have held a secret meeting to fire you." Said Dumbledore./
"What?" asked Lucius Malfoy.
"They are accusing you of blackmailing them after everything." He explained, "After all when there was evidence of a Basilisk they informed it."
Lucius paled even further.
"Yes it's quite interesting… that so many things could have done to prevent the prettification of some of the students… yet nothing was done." Said Dumbledore.
Lucius Malfoy looked even angrier .
"Also I would try to arrest her as the entire school witnessed the entity possessing her leaving her body." said Dumbledore.
Lucius Malfoy paled.
"You didn't hear did you? He locked us in room and tried to kill everyone there!" said Mabel.
"Everyone… even the Slytherins." Said Ron.
"He would do that! They are his loyal…" said Lucius but he stopped himself.
Harry glared at him and put together the final piece… he was the one who gave Ginny the book.
IT was clear that other were putting together the pieces as well.
"I have other things to do… come along Dobby." Said Lucius Malfoy.
Harry asked Dumbledore if he could have the diary to give it back to its proper owner…
"What he doing?" asked Ron.
"I don't know… but it's probably entraining…" said Mabel.
As it turned out Dobby did a lot to him even before the school year started.
Though it was protect him from his master's machinations…
Harry decided that the best option would be to trick Lucius to freeing his House Elf… Which was a slave race…
Sometime later, Harry told this to Ron and Mabel.
"Oh man… that I hilarious!" Laughed Mabel.
"I can't believe you made him tricked him." Said Ron.
Harry shrugged./
However after everything, Dumbledore canceled the exams (that weren't Midoriya IE: the OWLs and NEWTs) to celebrate.
When Dipper and Hermione woke up, Hermione was a bit disappointed while Dipper was okay without taking the tests.
Still the last few days became something of a big celebration… After all the monster killed and the real heir was stopped.
Though the celebration was somewhat somber with the Slytherins. While not all of them followed Blood Purity. Those that did were shaken and it was very clear that everyone from those years along with students for the next six years that would enter Slytherin would never look at Blood Purity the same way again, after all they had people who witnessed tell the younger years…
As the last day approached everyone assumed that Lockhart would remain the teacher to the next year…
That is until the news came…
Lockhart was now a wanted criminal.
His feats were real… but he wasn't the one that performed them. Other witches and wizards did. He confessed to taking them because the ones who did the deeds were in fact "ugly" like a witch having a hairy chin or a wizard having a hair lip.
He then learned everything he could from them, then erased their memories.
Needless to say it was a big scandal and he left the school in shame…
And also to avoid being arrested.
Though it didn't take long for him to arrested…
He wasn't a very smart man when it came to be on the run.
Neither Hermione or Mabel would say anything about it… and the boys knew to keep quiet about it.
Also Dipper and Mabel's parents sent them a message about something they would be doing for the summer.
And soon enough it would be them going home.
They were telling everyone about their plans. Turned out Hermione would be going to France that year.
Dipper and Mabel revealed well…
"Our parents are sending us to Oregon for the summer." Said Dipper.
Oregon?" asked Ron.
"It's a State in the United States." Said Hermione
"Why?" asked Harry.
"Who really knows… but we have a Great Uncle up there." Said Dipper.
"It might be for the better as things were tense last summer with us discovering Magic." Said Mabel.
"Yeah… I don't think they really liked us having magic." Admitted Dipper.
Harry nodded, as her completely understood that sentiment…
As he didn't like his family and REALLY didn't get along with them.
And he had to spend the summer with them…
It was going to be a pain for sure.
And Dipper and Mabel were dreading their summer…
However little did they know that their summer would be a very important one in their lives and would prove to be very important to their friends as well…
But that's a story for another time…
