After quite a hiatus, I've gotten back into the groove. Love Red vs Blue Style III is back, and I shall introduce the next stage of the story in this particular chapter.

Chapter VII

Pluvia Silva Fleet Secure Nuclear Storage Facility

Commander Athens knew she was not going to be well-received when she told the Reds Blues and Freelancers the news of what had just transpired in orbit. The Plentiful, out of nowhere, had just jumped into slipspace, sending shockwaves across the UNSC presence in the colony's orbital patrols and sensor networks. No one was quite sure what had happened, it had just happened. This left her the probably-dangerous task of telling her former command. But…when she'd started telling them, she found herself held by the neck off the ground against the wall of her office by one rather upset Agent Carolina.

"What do you mean the Plentiful is gone?" the Freelancer growled, having ripped June off her feet and up against the wall in the blink of an eye at the prospect of her kids being gone.

"Carolina! Calm down, June didn't have anything to do with it, put the Commander down before you set the whole base off!" York ordered her grimly as Agent Texas and Washington, plus Hawaii and Alaska likewise closed on her.

"He's right," Wash said as Tex began to pace like an angry tiger, lethally quiet as she waited and processed this, "It's obvious that the chatter aimed at the nuke facility was a decoy, planted to try to pull us from the Plentiful."

"Wash is right," Alaska said quietly, trying to control her own desperate emotions as Carolina released June and leaned on the desk, her fists balled up and head hanging as she tried to calm down, "Anyone knows that nukes are not something the UNSC would take a chance with."

"The slightest mention of a raid against a nuclear weapons storage point and the local garrison goes to high alert and special forces are mobilized," York recollected.

"And here…that's us," Hawaii sighed.

"And it left the kids all alone," Tex growled, "Someone targeted us, but didn't have the balls to face us directly."

"But had the resources to acquire a slipspace drive and then install it and jump it in less than five hours from us being recalled."

"Who the hell could have pulled something like that?" Carolina asked, looking over her shoulder.

"Charon, Charon Industries," Tex replied.

"Wash you know that there's no way to prove that they were involved with those incidents," June reminded the group of their previous run-ins with Charon.

"You mean to tell me that Charon Industries, the corporation Project Freelancer faced off with and fought against, is still out there? And they've taken our kids?" Hawaii demanded.

"Yes," Tex stated firmly, "That's exactly what we're saying."

"Good luck proving it then," York reminded the group, "That company covers its tracks so thoroughly that not even Freelancer at its height could go for the kill. If you're going to prove that they took the Plentiful and the kids along with it, we'll need to move fast."

"We've got actionable intel on the Insurrectionist cell here on Pluvia Silva, we should hit it immediately before whatever's there is gone," Carolina urged them, turning around as the leader in her came up.

"I don't have clearance to greenlight that kind of mission, any move against a local objective pertaining to the threat to the facility has to be cleared by planetary command," June told the group.

"We weren't asking," Tex smirked.

There was no way to explain it, not to Skyler, the Red and Blue kids were at war. Despite the fact that they had been told to make their way to the hangar area in Neutral Territory which was the furthest away from danger, the kids acted as though danger was to be found around any and every corner. To them, this meant that they had but one choice, grab the tanks. And leaving tanks with middle schoolers who thought the world was now out to get them was about to turn out to be not such a bright idea.

"Clear!" Skyler said as she and Sienna walked out of Blue Base, turning their guns out left and right, scanning for anything that they might be able to see.

"Skyler! Not so loud, we're right here," Hugh griped at her from behind as he walked out with a stolen Assault Rifle, the same weapon which all the kids except Skyler had chosen, who of course chose a shotgun while the twins had been very sternly told that they were not going to be allowed a gun, not even a paintball gun.

"Fuck off Hugh!"

"Yeah, Hugh shut up," Cleo piggybacked off of Skyler's putdown.

"Reds, shut it," Sienna growled as she waved them out into the hall.

"Okay, the Hogs are all good right?" Aiden asked the group.

"Yeah, I think so," Sienna responded.

"Sweet, let's go," Aiden said as he tapped William, urging him to follow, "Hugh, c'mon man."

The three boys made a rush for the Warthogs parked out in middle of the Blues' garage, knowing that they just needed to get out of here in rapid fashion however, this was not to be so easy. Aiden was the first to make it to the threshold of the garage when the steel doors slammed inwards, shutting in their faces and red locking lights blinked on. Then, the same thing happened behind them, the hatches into Blue Base shutting tight and the large hallway blast doors began to slowly close as the Red and Blue and Neutral kids looked on, stunned into inaction as they were effectively blocked in.

"Shit," Sienna snarled as she looked around, "We're blocked in!"

"Oh no kidding," Skyler deadpanned.

"Well then, looks like you were easier to lure out than I thought," the entertained voice of the kids' new A.I. enemy taunted them through the station speakers.

"You about took my face off you little fuck!" Aiden screamed up at the speakers.

"Might've been an improvement," Hugh smirked.

"No matter, now, be good little children and wait here until we deal with your siblings."

"Like fuck that's happening," Sienna said as she walked to the door to Blue Base and used the stock of the assault rifle to start beating the case off the wall, intent on manually opening said door.

"This isn't Star Wars, that's not how it works. No one's going to rescue you, and without your older siblings you are helpless," Jack informed them, gloating slightly.

"Did someone say help?" the voice of young Logan Caboose called out, but not from his helmet, it was from one of the two tanks in the middle of the road.

"We're good helpers," his twin sister's voice piped up from the second tank, and both tanks roared to life as one.

"And our daddy taught us to drive the other Sheila's."

"Oh man, this cannot possibly end well," William said as he stood next to Sienna.

"Not for the enemy at least," Sienna said with a smile.

"Firing main cannon!" the twins called out and their turrets turned, swiveling onto their joint target, the door into the garage.

"Oh no, no, no!" Aiden and Hugh said as they waved their arms frantically and sprinted away from the garage, knowing exactly what was about to happen as the two 90mm guns fired in sequence, blasting the doors open sure, but in doing so they set of a whole chain of explosions inside the garage, destroying every single vehicle inside and causing a tremendous fire and rush of smoke into the satellite to begin.

"Twins! No!" Cleo waved her arms trying to get them to stop.

"You Blue idiots!" Skyler screamed as she and Sienna rushed over and tried clambering onto the lead tank which had Emily inside.

"I can't hear anything now!" Dani held her hands over her ears as she stood next to Cleo who gave her a glare in return.

"Seriously? You of all people are complaining about being deaf at the volume you listen to music at?"

"I don't listen to any boybands named Scorpion fucking Tank!"

"Emily, Logan," Sienna called up on the radio, seeing what the two were doing, and understood their train of thought, but knew better than to be firing the tanks' main gun rounds into an enclosure with a glass dome, "Cease fire!"

"But we were helping," Emily whined.

"Oh you helped alright," Jack laughed, "This is way more fun than I…" he said as something appeared to be taking his attention and he didn't like it, "No! Those idiots!"

"Our siblings must be giving you more trouble than you thought huh?" Skyler taunted the A.I. back.

"What's the matter Mr. A.I.? Nothing to say?" Aiden yelled up in challenge.

"This is only just beginning you little brats," Jack said which caused his voice to change to a dangerous tone, "You're already too late!"

"Uh…I don't like the sound of that," Cleo noted.

"Yeah, when the bad guys say it's too late they tend to have done something bad, really bad!" William added.

"So what exactly are we going to do about it?" Hugh inquired, his tone exasperated with this whole situation, "Or we can give up, I say we give up and go find some ice cream."

"Yeah right! We have tanks!" Skyler pointed down at the tank she stood on.

"And we blew up half our own vehicles within ten seconds of using them, great start so far Skyler!" Hugh gave an exaggerated thumbs-up.

"Twins!" Sienna now halted the argument and jumped down and made her way to the main garden entrance.

"Hello!" both kids said cheerfully, the tank turrets turning towards her.

"Logan, Emily, you see the garden entrance there?" Sienna and pointed to the big door into the garden that was next to Blue Base over her shoulder.

"Yeah?" both twins responded.

"It needs help opening, see if you can push it open," Sienna asked with a sweet tone and an evil smile.

"Okay!" the twins said ecstatically, and then turned and accelerated with vigor.

The sudden move was quick and it was sudden. Skyler wasn't prepared, and was thrown off the back of the tank with a yelp and landed squarely on her butt and sat back up in time to see Emily leading the charge which smashed right through the metal door and bent it back and up, and with Logan's tank behind her tank running into it the door had no chance of staying shut and the two tanks bulldozed through and then kept going.

"Uh…" Hugh said as he and the others walked up to the busted-open hatch, "Aren't they supposed to wait for us?"

"Yeah…" William noted, "Sienna shouldn't you uh…ask them to come back?"

"Ask the team-killing six-year-olds driving tanks to help us?" Cleo noted.

"Yeah, say that sentence back to yourself a couple times," Aiden added.

"Let's go, we have a bit of a walk back to our place," Sienna told the group.

"Uh…what's that noise?" Skyler asked as a humming noise reached her ears, and she poked her head out and the others walked into the garden section in time to see a large formation of farming drones assembling in front of them, their eyes no longer green, but red.

"Oh crap," Dani groaned, knowing that this was bad, really bad.

"Run!" Sienna ordered and raised her Assault Rifle and fired at the drones, striking one but only caused it to wobble and then it and the others accelerated right down at them, their clawed arms extending out at them.

Skyler and the Reds immediately sprinted in a totally different direction from where Sienna and Aiden and William were headed, everyone firing wildly up at the drones chasing them into the orchard in front of Blue Base. Sienna and Aiden were the ones who were marginally competent with their guns, and fired at them as they got closer, dropping several of them with automatic bursts as the sizeable drones easily caught up with them. William was the first to get grabbed as one of the drones zipped in while he was reloading his rifle after he had emptied his magazine. The drone smashed into the purple armor-wearing boy and lifted him into the air, its claws latching onto his legs as he fell and he was soon hanging upside down.

"Uh guys? Help!" William called out as Sienna turned and saw that and sprinted over to help him out.

"I gotcha bro!" Aiden said as he grabbed onto the drone's left arm and was then grabbed by his own arm by another drone and was dragged away but stayed on the ground and lifted his rifle and fired after jamming the gun against the red eye in the center of the drone's face.

This caused the drone to drop onto the ground, but the claw remained attached, leaving Sienna as the one to try to save William. It was probably for the best too, she was the only one around besides Chloe who could have pulled it off, and Sienna intended to do it. She jumped, latching onto the drone's lower landing skid and used the momentum to swing her legs up and scrambled up onto the drone's back, holding on for dear life as the farming drone Jack controlled lifted skywards, attempting to dislodge her by breaking through the tree cover. But Sienna held on, and was soon realizing that this was probably a mistake as she grabbed her pistol and fired a round into the right-hand engine and the drone started to spiral downwards, along with them. This time however, the drone let go, but William was saved by Sienna's own quick thinking as she reached down and grabbed his outstretched hand.

"Uh Sienna! We're still falling!" William said as they spun down lower and lower, and she looked around desperately to find a way out. Then she noticed it, the bright color change above them as the Plentiful was jumped into slipspace.

"What the? We're in slipspace?!" she gawked at the sight, losing momentary concentration.

"Sienna!"

A single drone came homing in at Sienna, this time it aimed directly at her and one of its claws latched onto her wrist, clamping down and ripping her from the falling drone but she kept her other hand firmly holding William, refusing to let him drop as the drone changed course and started to fly away towards a drone access hangar, on the opposite side of the satellite near No Man's Land.

"Will! I'm letting you go! It'll only get me, not you," Sienna said to her friend.

"What?! No way! I won't leave you alone with the creepy A.I.!" William countered as the device began to approach the hangar, along with the large tropical zone and its saltwater ocean mimic feature.

"It's fine, I'll figure it out," Sienna countered.

"No, don't-" William tried to get out as the girl finally let go, and he fell free, dropping straight down into the water with a terrific splash in the fifteen foot-deep water.

He was able to get back to the surface and look up to see Sienna getting taken into the warehouse, knowing that the A.I. had planned on kidnapping all of them by them by now. But, he knew that everyone was occupied. This meant that he was the one who would have to rescue Sienna. To him, there was every chance that this would end badly for him. But, one overriding factor made him look down, think quietly to himself, and then look back up with a strong degree of determination. He loved Sienna, and today he'd prove it by doing what she was known for, by being a badass.

The Red kids had been quick to run for somewhere they knew and knew at least relatively well, home. It was instinct, although it certainly wasn't working at the moment because Jack's pirated farming drones had caught up with the Reds with complete ease. A ring of them had swooped in, surrounding them within a field of soybeans. This left the four Red kids backing up against one another, guns pointed outwards, none sure what to do.

"Shit…" Hugh said as he pointed his rifle out at the drones in front of them as they circled, Jack obviously plotting out how to deal with them.

"What do we do?" Dani asked, her gun moving back and forth between different drones while Skyler just stood there, unsure what to do.

"Skyler?" Cleo asked desperately.

"I-I don't, I…" she stammered, hands shaking as her mind went into overdrive, and she knew she didn't have an answer.

That was, until two tanks showed up, and opened fire. This blasted two enormous craters into the ground and many of drones were sent flying in all directions, many of them in enormous numbers of pieces. This was apparently enough that Skyler was snapped out of it.

"Fire! Destroy the robot uprising!" Skyler said and turned her weapon forward, and blasted one of the drones directly in the face, making it drop as it accelerated straight towards her.

"Shouldn't we tell the others?!" Cleo replied.

"Yeah good idea," Skyler stated as they continued shooting at the drones which were trying to retreat, "Sam! It's a robot uprising! The drones! They're trying to overthrow their human overlords!"

"Skyler what the fuck did you do?!" Sam responded.

"I didn't do it! Not…not this time!" Skyler scoffed.

"Why aren't you guys trying to get back to the bunker?" Jayden demanded of the group.

"The evil A.I. cut us off, that asshole!" Hugh responded.

"Guys!" William interrupted, "We have another problem, one of the drones took Sienna!"

"Oh come on! Seriously?!" Ford snapped in irritation, "Can we keep everyone not kidnapped for like five minutes? Please?!"

"For crying out loud," Jayden groaned over the radio at hearing his sister had now been caught.

"Will, where is she?" Paige now interrupted.

"In the main drone bay near the tropical zone. I'm almost there."

"William, don't you dare think about it!" Oliver stated as he heard what his brother intended on doing, "As your older brother I forbid it!"

"You're not mom or dad!" William replied, "Besides, Sienna's trouble, I have to do something."

"Sienna's always getting in trouble! When is she not in some kind of trouble?!" the voice of Thomas spoke up.

"When Chloe isn't making trouble?" Sam noted on the radio.

"Enough!" Jayden replied, "Lyndsey, Ford, James, and I are gonna go get Sienna and William. Sam and the others are going to take Liam, Thomas, and Chloe to the bunker. William, find somewhere safe near the entrance. Make sure that fucking A.I. doesn't try to move her around and hide her from us. I can't see her on our IFF trackers, we're blind."

"I'm on it!"

"Everyone else, get back to the bunker and get somewhere safe. Aiden where are you?"

"I'm making my way towards the Reds, getting some awesome freaking footage! The twins used the tanks to blast our way out!" Aiden responded immediately.

"You let the fucking twins drive fucking tanks?!" James screeched.

"Are you trying to get us all teamkilled?" Chloe now replied, knowing who was likely to be on the twins' target list and was not looking forward to being on said list when those two youngsters were at the controls of two whole tanks.

"I know that sounds bad, but…so far they've only blown up…some of the vehicles at Blue Base," Aiden responded, but was followed by an explosion back at Blue Base, "Most of the vehicles."

"I am going to kill you when I get back there Aiden," Mia deadpanned at her brother over the radio.

"Emma, Logan, can you hear me?" Paige called out on the radio.

"Hello!" both twins piped up happily as if they were in the midst of their favorite game.

"Good, now, I want you to take the tanks you're in, and don't shoot at anyone. In fact, try to only shoot at the drones, okay?" Paige gingerly asked, "And let them ride the tanks to the hangar. I'll meet you there and if you do good there might be something in it for you."

"We want cookies!" Logan demanded.

"And orange juice!" Emma added.

"Okay, cookies and orange juice in return for getting to safety, sounds like a fair trade," Jayden said in agreement, "We have our plan guys. Let's get it done, and get back safely. Then, we'll move on the control room, and get rid of this damn A.I."

"You mean Jack?" Skyler asked.

"Who's Jack?" Aiden inquired.

"The A.I.'s name is Jack," Chloe informed them.

"That's a stupid name," Emma said dismissively.

"I know right?" Roland said in agreement.

"Is you all kids do is talk?!" the voice of the A.I., Jack, yelled in everyone's ear.

"We kick your mercenaries' asses, so how's that for a start?" Ford challenged the A.I..

"Well, you also seem to go and get your little sisters captured on the regular," Jack challenged in turn, "So here we are, back to square one. And considering that this becoming fairly entertaining, let's continue shall we?"

"If you hurt Sienna, I am going to rip your chip apart, slowly…" Jayden threatened coldly.

"Oh don't worry, she's fine for now," Jack said, and a live feed transmission came through to the whole group.

It was Sienna, dangling from one of the arms of a robotic forklift, wrists tightly in packing tape with her arms tied above her head and legs flailing wildly trying to get loose while a few drones tried to continue the binding process, but were having some serious difficulty.

"Ha! Sienna got captured," Chloe smugly taunted.

"So did you bitch!" Skyler replied with no small degree of snark.

"Jesus would you all shut up?" Jack sighed in exasperation, "Listen, I can, and plan to keep this game going for the whole trip. We have a few hours to kill before we get to Chorus. So please, have it."
