AN: Alright guys, it's time for the latest on the chapter of Decade! I would've worked on this earlier but I couldn't. But I got it done right here so now, Showtime!

Chapter 9: W's World Part 1
Dark Decade was in the newly developed lab in the Sonozaki mansion, working on a new GaiaMemory. It's been a few days since he became allies with Ryubee Sonozaki and while most of the required equipment didn't come right only a few pieces did. Saeko Sonozaki said that she and her new husband will be in Tokyo-3 in a couple of days with the rest of the equipment.
Although it didn't seem much, but it was enough for Dark Decade to be working on the new Memories. Ryubee came down to see Dark Decade working.
"You know, you don't have to do this by yourself." Ryubee said.
"It's fine, I'm glad I can take some pleasure out of this." He answered with Ryubee smiling.
"That kind of attitude reminds me of our original maker, Rei Ayanami, the Chosen Child." Ryubee mused.
"She was your original Memory maker? What happened to her?"
"I have no doubt that she is part of W now." Ryubee said.
"If you knew, then why didn't you tell Ikari?"
"Because unlike him, I prefer to give her actual freedom. I always liked her in a sense." Ryubee explained. "Anyways, is it ready?"
Dark Decade got off his chair and pressed on the Memory as an example.
"CYBORG!"
(Play Journey Through the Decade by Gackt)
{Kamen Rider Decade. He has been given the power of a destroyer to destroy one.} As the song starts the scene focuses on Decade, who just transformed, standing in a white room filled with filming clips.
{Miageru hoshi sorezore no rekishi ga kagayaite} Fu covers Nihlus's eyes until she lets go. His eye is zoomed in and is soon replaced with the camera, his camera, and later his upgraded Decadriver which includes all 15 Heisei Riders including himself. His Machine Decader is shown parked in front of a pile of smoking rubble. In the white room Nihlus grabs one of the cubes and faces the camera.
{Seiza no you sen de musubu shunkan hajimaru Legend} The scene changes to a worn down warehouse with all Riders sitting but one at a time. Fu grabs a bottle and looks at it. Nihlus looks back. Yugi slumps his back against his TryChaser 2000 as the silhouettes of the other Riders appeared one by one. Fu throws the bottle down on the floor.
{Oorora (aurora) yurameku jikuu koete. Tobikomu meisou suru Parallel world}On one side the Dark Riders charge while on the other the Riders of Good did the same. When the bottle shatters, Nihlus looks as though he was about to collapse but not before his face changing into each of the Riders' helmets. Back at the warehouse all 15 riders were lined up doing their signature poses and with Decade in the center but behind him was Fu.
{On the road dare mo tabi no tochuu. Hontou no jibun jishin deau tame.} All 15 Riders were in a circle and were fending off the Dark Riders as they were being surrounded by them. Nihlus is then shown on his bike getting his helmet on and Fu was riding passenger. Fu grabs on to him tightly. Next, Decade shows off his fighting skills especially with the Attack Ride: Slash card. Soon back to the Riders, everyone was doing their best trying to watch each other's back while against the Dark Riders.
{Atarashii yoake e to tsuzuku michi ni kawaru no darou.} Nihlus sits alone exhausted and with tears rolling down his face until Fu was in front of him with his camera in one hand and offering the other to help him up. We soon see Yugi riding with Nihlus and Fu on their respective bikes. Back on the battle, Blade was having trouble with Glaive until Decade shows up and pushed Glaive away. Ryuga was about to use his Strike Vent on Decade until Ryuki used his first which saved Decade.
{Mokugekise yo Journey through the Decade.} The Riders were helping each other trying to take down their respective foe. Soon Fu is seen with a smile in Decade's mind. But Decade focuses on the battle and helping his comrades. Decade was soon on his bike driving out of a Gray Mirror with pictures of the other 14 Riders in it and they circled the logo.
(The next few days at the studio)
Nihlus got up and was changing for his job at NERV now. It's been a few days since he and the others have just landed here. Apparently he works as a guard in NERV but he never really held a gun outside his Rider form.
But, he surprisingly did well in the target range though…
(Yesterday)
Misato was practicing in the target range but noticed Nihlus, on a nearby table, adjusting his camera. He's been here a few days now but is apparently a lieutenant in the Tactical Division. But he looked more of a rookie than anything else, so…
"Hey, rookie!" Misato called.
Nihlus stopped and looked at her.
"Yes, ma'm."
"Come over here for a second." Misato ordered. Nihlus placed his camera around his neck before walking over.
"Yes, ma'm?"
Misato smiled.
"Don't be so formal. Anyways, I'm just curious about your shooting skill." Misato said. Nihlus sweated a little. Outside his Rider form, he never fired a gun before in his life. Misato soon brought up some targets and handed Nihlus a pistol. "Go ahead, show me what you got." She smiled.
Nihlus aimed the gun with both hands at the target. He took a deep breath before firing. To his surprise the bullet actually hit a zone really close to the bull's-eye. Nihlus looked at the gun.
'Was it a lucky shot?' He wondered before emptying the clip. All the shots were actually really good.
"Wow! I didn't see anyone make that score before! You might actually have what it takes." Misato said as she patted Nihlus on the back.
(Present)
Nihlus was soon in his uniform but refused to wear the beret. He then thought about what Shinji and Rei were doing in their agency. Compared to their original counterparts, who were basically the opposite of what they are now, he actually liked them.
Shinji isn't the cowardly wimp that he saw but instead a brave "half-boiled" detective who isn't afraid to take on the world.
And Rei wasn't the emotionless and…oblivious puppet that he expected as well. This Rei is actually full of life, smart, and caring despite the fact she has amnesia. Although Nihlus saw that as a good thing, Rei isn't exactly a…normal person. Hopefully, those two can stop Gendo's Scenario.
Nihlus started walking down the hall.
"Hey, Nihlus!" Fu called.
Nihlus looked back.
"Yeah?"
"Just saying good morning. Also…" Fu started, as she looked at his uniform.
"What is it?"
"NERV doesn't have a good taste in fashion, huh?"
"You're telling me. I hate uniforms." Nihlus muttered as he looked at it.
"Well, you look good in it." Fu complimented.
"Trust me, this thing isn't as nice as it seems. At least I have a salary in this line of work." Nihlus said. He did get a paycheck and it was slightly higher than his rate in the studio but then again, he never made much in the studio to begin with. "Speaking of which…" Nihlus took off his camera and gave some money to Fu. "You mind doing me a favor?"
"What is it?" Fu asked as she took the items.
"It's time for maintenance on this thing. Can you deliver it to Mr. Hino?"
Fu nodded.
"Sure, but sure this thing could make another picture though." Fu said.
"What do you mean-?"
CLICK!
Fu smiled.
"Now, it could use a checkup." Fu said before walking off.
"Hey!" Nihlus called before he started chasing Fu. "That's not fair!" He didn't want a picture of him in that ridiculous uniform even if it is just one.
"Too bad!" Fu said as she was rushing towards the printing room. Nihlus saw where she was going and quickly tackled her.
After landing, the two opened their eyes to find themselves in an awkward position. Fu still had the camera in her hands but Nihlus was on top of her with only his hands holding himself up. The two blushed at their current position.
"Well, this is certainly amusing, isn't it?" Nanabi commented.
Fu, however, was too embarrassed to say anything, just as Nihlus was. Soon after what seemed to be an eternity, Fu decided to speak first.
"Um…you mind getting off of me?" She asked politely but still had a visible blush.
"Well…only if your promise me to get rid of that photo." Nihlus said with a blush as well.
"Please, I really like it."
Nihlus sighed, he just can't say no to Fu especially in this position.
"Fine…but don't let anyone else see it."
"Uh, we kinda do." A new voice said. Nihlus and Fu looked to see Yugi and Hino staring at them.
"If you want me to fix the camera then sure but…" Hino started as he looked at the two. "Please do that elsewhere."
"It isn't what you think!" The two said at the same time before they started making different excuses at the same time until Yugi noticed something….
"Hey Nihlus, shouldn't you be at work already?"
Nihlus stopped and looked at his watch.
"Oh crap! You're right! I'm late!" Nihlus said before rushing out of the studio and on to his bike. He quickly placed his helmet on before he started driving.
Yugi and Fu were watching him leave.
"He sure can be absentminded sometimes…" Fu noted. Nihlus did spend a lot of time focusing on getting his camera back from Fu but…
"Yeah, but technically…wasn't it both your faults since you two were having a mom-."
Before Yugi can finish, Fu user her Powder technique on Yugi. Yugi was rubbing his eyes.
"I can't see!" He remarked as he stumbled into the wall of Double Detective Agency. Fu looked at it before Yugi got up as he rubbed his eyes. He could soon see again.
"You think we should go inside?"
"Sure, it'll be nice to work with Shinji and Rei on a case if they have one. Plus we've never been inside." Yugi answered before he and Fu went inside. The office looked good enough but…
"I haven't drunk alcohol since then!" Rei defended.
"You drank alcohol!?" Both Fu and Yugi exclaimed since Rei was fourteen years old.
"I was curious. Anyways, what are you guys doing here?" Rei asked back.
"We were just exploring plus we never been here." Fu answered.
"So what were you guys talking about?"
"I wanted a pet." Rei said before Yugi decided to adjust the radio.
"Why not? It seems harmless." Fu reasoned. It actually did seem pretty harmless but she did not know Rei.
"It's just that I don't think Rei can't do it. I just doubt it would last long." Shinji explained before Yugi got on the news channel.
"This just in, we have a dismantled shop near Shinjuku.' Everybody stopped and went up to the radio. "The shop's owner, Haru Machida reported that everything inside has been destroyed along with along with a few injured citizens nearby."
Shinji then grabbed his fedora and coat.
"Looks like a new case for us, Rei." Shinji said before Yugi and Fu followed. Shinji noticed. "You guys want to come?'
"I'm a Kamen Rider too! I have to help somehow." Yugi explained.
"And I'm curious to see how the Rider of this world works." Fu answered.
Shinji then shrugged. Having another Kamen Rider watch your back can be pretty handy and this Fu looks like she can handle herself. He nodded.
"Rei, I'll call you if I need a lookup or anything else." Shinji said before the three left.
Rei just nodded before she went to the garage and read up more in her library.
(In Shinjuku)
Shinji and Yugi arrived on their bikes with Fu as a passenger. The three got off and explored the district until they arrived at the scene with cops surrounding the vicinity.
Shinji approached the cops and showed his ID.
"Detective Shinji Ikari, I'm here to check out the scene." Shinji said with Yugi and Fu behind him.
"Still poking you head where it doesn't belong, I see." A detective from the cops said as he approached Shinji.
"I'm just doing my job, Hitari." Shinji said as he faced Souji.
"Well I'm doing mine too. From what we could tell of surveillance, one monster and a Kamen Rider was behind this." This surprised the three.
"Kamen Rider, that urban myth?" Shinji said while pretending to play dumb.
"Yeah, you're familiar with him?"
"Enough to know that one wouldn't do such a thing!" Yugi said.
"Either way, we'll be taking it from here so you aren't needed, kid." Souji said before leaving.
Shinji's face just cringed as he watched him leave and talk to the owner.
"Now what?" Fu asked.
"Well, I'm not done, for starters." Shinji said before getting on his bike. "C'mon, I know a guy that can help us."
Yugi and Fu got on the other bike before following Shinji.
(At NERV Headquarters)
Nihlus now had patrol in the labs as punishment for being late. Patrolling the labs was like walking around a mine field. The scientists there like to make minor experiments and run tests for more efficient ways on beating the Angels.
There have been a few accidents, ranging from either mutation or loss of limbs. Hopefully, Nihlus won't have to deal with it as long as he doesn't get near too much of the equipment.
He soon bumped into someone.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Nihlus apologized.
"It's alright." Nihlus's eyes widened at the voice. It was Ryubee Sonozaki, head of the Sonozaki family and the organization, Museum. SEELE must've sent the Sonozakis here to maintain watch.
Ryubee soon continued his path and Nihlus decided to tail him. After stalking for a few more minutes, Ryubee goes into his private office with Nihlus close to the door. He placed his ear on it and after a few minutes, he started to hear something.
"How are things going with our…new client?" Ryubee asked.
"He sends his regards and agrees to our plan." A new voice said. Nihlus recognized it as Dark Decade's.
"Good, soon our production of GaiaMemories will go up and Ikari doesn't know." Ryubee said.
"What if he starts to get suspicious?" Dark Decade asked.
"You let me worry about him. Just make sure you and this Dopant do this job well."
"I understand, I've already set up the bait. Now, I have my own issues to settle first."
"Of course, but what kind of issues are you having? Maybe I could help." Ryubee offered.
"Let me handle that, just make sure none of this info passes to Ikari." Dark Decade said before it sounded like he left.
'What kind of issue is Dark Decade having?' Nihlus wondered before he decided to go back on patrol. If Dark Decade is having his trouble then maybe Nihlus can use that towards his advantage.
But then he realized that there's going to be another Dopant on the loose pretty soon. He should probably warn the others but, Shinji and Rei are good detectives. If anyone could find out who the Dopant is then it's them.
"Hey, aren't you on patrol, Nihlus!?" Misato questioned.
"Oh, right. Sorry about that, I got lost in my own thoughts." Nihlus answered.
"Thinking about Fu, huh?" Misato asked. She managed to get to know everyone in the studio in the past few days. And to her, it was obvious that Nihlus has a crush on Fu.
Nihlus blushed at the answer.
"No! No! It's nothing like that, I swear!" Nihlus answered. "It's just that, I'm worried about Shinji and his partner." He explained. He couldn't mention Rei's name in this place, fearing that the higher ups will find out about the First Child's location.
"I understand where you're coming from but those two can take care of themselves. They're much tougher than you think." Misato said. She was right, Shinji and Rei have been at this for two years but that doesn't mean that they were invincible.
Misato noticed that Nihlus still had that worried look on his face.
"Look, if you care about the guys so much, then I'll shorten your patrol schedule." Misato said, surprising Nihlus.
"You'd do that?"
"Hey look, I care about those guys too and I really want to help them out on their cases but I'm trapped here, given my status." Misato admitted. Even if they were experienced detectives, they were still kids and Misato couldn't help but worry about them. "And you…you look like someone I can trust on this."
"Wow…thanks." Nihlus answered.
"But note that you'll owe me one after this!" Misato noted. Of course, it has a cost but he'll have to take what he can get. Those guys need to know what Dark Decade and Ryubee were planning.
"Yes, ma'm. So when I can leave?"
"In a couple hours, if you want." Misato said.
"Okay, then. Thank you." Nihlus answered before resuming his patrol.
(With the others)
Shinji and the others arrive in some sort of restaurant after being kicked out of the crime scene. Soon, he sees Watcherman, an informant. Shinji approached him and placed some money on his table. Watcherman looks at him.
"I was starting to think, you may have forgotten me." Watcherman mused before looking at Yugi and Fu. "Who are these guys? Especially the babe?"
Fu just rolled her eyes before Shinji got his contact back on track.
"You know that shop that was destroyed in Shinjuku recently?" Shinji asked with slight impatience.
"Yeah, you want to know if it's a Dopant, right?" Watcherman asked.
"That and I heard a Kamen Rider is behind this as well. Is that true?"Shinji asked, anticipating that it might be this Dark Decade that the others keep mentioning.
"Funny thing, actually…
(Last night)
"Santa-chan, you really know how to have night, huh!" Watcherman said as the two had a fun night or at least, in their terms.
"Trust me, Santa-chan knows how to throw a good party!" Santa-chan said before they looked around.
"Where are we, anyways?"
"Looks like Shinjuku by the looks of it. But don't worry, Santa-chan can lead the way!" Santa-chan said with confidence before he and Watcherman wondered around.
After a few minutes of wandering around the district, they see a store window being broken. The two took cover.
Dark Decade was approaching the store while behind him was huge being that looked mechanical. It also had several armaments attached to his body and his face looked mechanical as well.
"Do it."
"As you wish…" The Cyborg Dopant said before summoning a turret from its shoulder and fired. It soon moved in and started wrecking the place while Dark Decade was just watching.
The two men cowered in fear but continued watching.
(Present)
"You saw him!?" Yugi exclaimed in surprise as did the others.
Watcherman nodded.
"That monster looked like big trouble and that Rider…" Watcherman started as he was remembering last night. "There's just something about him that just screams death."
"Must be Dark Decade." Fu whispered.
"Do you have any idea where they might've gone?" Shinji asked.
Watcherman thought about it.
"That Rider did call the monster Keno."
(Last night)
Dark Decade watched as the Cyborg Dopant got out of the building.
"Good, now let's leave before the cops come. You did good, Keno."
"Thank you, Master…"
The two soon left with the two witnesses staring at the store before leaving themselves.
(Present)
"Keno, huh?" Shinji asked.
"Yup, but that's all I know." Watcherman said.
"It's enough. Thanks, Watcherman." Shinji said before getting his phone out and calling Rei.
(With Nihlus)
Nihlus was driving on the road, trying to get to Double Detective Agency until a Gray Mirror popped up in front of him. He tried to stop his bike, but went through in the process.
Nihlus got out, only to find himself in some sort of canyon. He got off his bike, took off his helmet, and looked around.
"Hmph, I never got to say this but I expected someone taller to be Decade." A voice said.
Nihlus looked and saw Bujin Gaim.
"You again?"
"You and I have some unfinished business." Bujin Gaim explained as he pointed his Daidaimaru at Nihlus. "I'm not supposed to kill you but that doesn't mean I can't give you a good beating."
"But either way, that's not going to happen." Nihlus said before placing his Driver on. He then took out his card.
"Henshin!"
He placed the card in the Driver before closing it.
"KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!"
Nihlus transformed into Decade and pulled out his sword before charging. Bujin Gaim charged as well and the two were in a fierce sword fight.
Decade slashed Bujin Gaim, making him roll on the ground. Bujin Gaim quickly got up, pulled the back of his Musou Saber, and fired. Decade quickly placed a card in his Driver and closed it.
"ATTACK RIDE: SLASH!"
Decade's sword started to glow and vibrate before he slashed through all the bullets. He then looked up to see Bujin Gaim about to strike but Decade moved out of the way before putting a new card in his Driver.
"KAMEN RIDE: KUUGA TITAN!"
Decade transformed into Kuuga Titan form with his sword transforming into the Titan Sword. D-Kuuga positioned himself before charging.
D-Kuuga tried swiping his sword only for Bujin Gaim to duck and tried to slash him by the legs. D-Kuuga jumped back as a response before using a new card for his Driver.
"FORM RIDE: KUUGA PEGASUS!"
D-Kuuga went into his Pegasus Form and his sword changed to a gun. He fired before Bujin Gaim dodged and fired back. The two were shooting at each other before they started running down the canyon. Soon Bujin Gaim fired at D-Kuuga's hand, making him drop his weapon.
He then proceeded to fire at D-Kuuga until he was enveloped in smoke. He stopped firing, presuming that he was knocked out but when the smoke faded, D-Kuuga was missing.
Bujin Gaim quickly turned all around him to find Decade but could. Soon he was slashed by the chest and felt another one on his back.
(In Clock Up)
D-Kabuto was trying to get as many hits he could land before Bujin Gaim can counterattack the next hit.
D-Kabuto soon charged and sent multiple punches to Bujin Gaim's chest and soon a kick to the head. He then punched him high in the air before jumping and kicking him back down.
(Out of Clock Up)
D-Kabuto emerged from Clock Up as Bujin Gaim got back up.
"I won't let you win!" Bujin Gaim said before slicing his Lockseed again. A guitar theme played.
"BLOOD ORANGE SQUASH!"
Bujin Gaim jumped and got in a side kick position and flew through energy blood orange slices. He aimed at D-Kabuto.
D-Kabuto soon got his final card and used it as he turned his back on Bujin Gaim.
"FINAL ATTACK RIDE: K-K-KABUTO!"
Energy traveled up to his helmet and back to his leg. Soon He did a reverse roundhouse kick and collided with Bujin Gaim's attack. They were soon replaced with an explosion. Bujin Gaim was thrown out of it as he reverted back to his hooded civilian form. He fel on the gorund and sat up to see his Driver and Lockseed still in place.
The smoke faded, leaving Decade. He walked up to Bujin Gaim, hoping to get answers. But before he can do anything, a Gray Mirror appeared in front of him and sent him and his bike back to W's world.
Bujing Giam got up as he heard clapping behind him. He turned to see Dark Decade.
"I'm surprised you went easy on him." Dark Decade commented.
"You said it yourself, you don't want him dead." Bujin Gaim answered.
"Correct, I want him stronger." Dark Decade said as he placed his hand on Bujin Gaim's shoulder. "Decade must be stronger than either of us and to do that we must push him."
Bujin Gaim took Dark Decade's hand off of him.
"You know I never cared for that sort of thing. I only care about my revenge, like many of the other Dark Riders. Remember, we only serve you because you granted us a chance at revenge plus our own universe to live in. Not just a world but a multitude of them."
"As I promised, you don't have to worry about anything. Now, return to Gaim's world." Dark Decade instructed before Bujin Gaim left through a Gray Mirror.
(With the others)
Shinji, Yugi, and Fu have just arrived at the crime scene for a second time, to try and get some better evidence.
"Still though, has she ever done much action before other than the lookup?" Fu asked. They were talking about Rei.
"Only in our early days and the-." Shinji stopped himself there. They didn't need to know about the "one time" nor did he have a reason to remember it. He then decided to change the subject. "Okay looks like there's less cops and that annoying idiot of a detective is gone." Shinji said before he took off his helmet along with the others.
The building did have fewer cops now and the three decided to head in but we're stopped by a cop.
"Excuse me, but can I help you?" The cop asked before Shinji showed his ID. "I thought I recognized you. You're that young detective that Detective Hitari kicked out."
"He's not here, is he?"
"No, he left a while ago."
"In that case, can I investigate the scene?"
"I don't know, my superiors told me not to let anyone in." The officer replied.
"But I have to go in and check. Check my ID if you have to." Shinji said. The officer thought about it.
"Look detective, I want to help you. I really do but command is going crazy over that evil Kamen Rider. If you want, I can let you in for ten minutes. That's all you can get." The officer answered. Shinji sighed, it was better than being rejected again.
"I guess I should thank you." Shinji replied.
"I guess you should start working. Your ten minutes have started." The officer reminded before Shinji went in. Yugi and Fu were about to follow until the officer stopped him. "I said that the detective can come through. No one else."
Shinji stopped and looked back but Yugi waved him off.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine. Just get what you need." Yugi said, earning a nod from Shinji before he went in.
He and Fu soon sat near the bikes as they waited for the young detective.
(At Double Detective Agency)
The Gray Mirror dropped Nihlus and his bike off at the entrance. He noticed where he was but decided to change out the uniform first.
He went back to the studio where Hino was eating a cake. He noticed Nihlus.
"Oh, Nihlus! You're back from work?" He asked.
"I got off early. Is the camera ready?" Nihlus asked. Hino brought it out and it looked good as new.
"The damage wasn't that bad so it didn't take me as long as I thought." Nihlus smiled as he took it. "I never understand why you prefer that camera to the others."
Nihlus stopped and looked back at him with a smile.
"It's a keepsake. Like you and that rabbit's foot." Nihlus said before going to his room while Hino brought his lucky rabbit's foot and kissed it before putting it back in his pocket.
Soon, Nihlus came out with his camera around his neck in more casual clothes. He soon went to the agency where he saw Rei, Asuka, and a lady.
Rei noticed Nihlus's confusion.
"This is Miwa Amane, our new client." Rei explained.
"Where are Shinji and the others?"
"They're off investigating a crime scene." Rei explained. He then saw Asuka with an ice pack on her cheek.
"I don't want to know." Nihlus answered.
"Anyways, I'm going to do some research downstairs." Rei said before looking at Amane. "Just wait here, Shinji should be here soon." She soon went into the garage with Nihlus.
(With the others)
Fu and Yugi were still waiting.
"So how long you think we're going to be in this world?" Yugi asked.
"Don't know, it really varies." Fu answered. "In my home world, Nihlus stayed there for months." Fu said, now wondering what Souji and the others were doing now.
"Right, wonder what the other worlds are like though." Yugi said, going through the possibilities until…
BOOM!"
Yugi and Fu looked to see the Cyborg Dopant coming this way while destroying everything in its path.
"That's a Dopant!?" Yugi questioned before the two noticed the Cyborg Dopant beating the cops senseless. ""We have to do something! I'll try to hold this thing off!"
"Okay and I'll evacuate everyone nearby." Fu said.
"Right!" Yugi said as he summoned the Arcle. He did his pose.
"Henshin!"
He pressed the side of his belt before transforming into Kuuga. Kuuga charged and punched the Dopant while Fu ran in.
"Hurry! Get out of here!" She warned as she led people to safety. Soon Shinji came out and saw what was going on.
"Rei!" Shinji called before getting the DoubleDriver out and placing it on.
(At Double Detective Agency)
Rei, Asuka, and Nihlus were waiting for the others to get back. Asuka was talking with Amane while Nihlus and Rei were in the garage.
Nihlus was looking around while Rei was reading her book until she felt her Driver on. At that moment, she got out her Memory. She pressed on it.
"CYCLONE!"
Nihlus heard that and looked at her.
"Henshin!"
She placed her Memory in the right slot of her Driver before it vanished. She soon passed out only for Nihlus to catch her.
(With the others)
"JOKER!"
"Henshin!"
After a few moments, the Cyclone Memory appeared in his right slot. He pushed it in before inserting and pressing his Joker Memory in the remaining slot. Shinji then pushed the two slots aside.
"CYCLONE-JOKER!"
Shinji transformed into W and charged. The Cyborg Dopant notices him before firing a machine gun from his wrist. W stopped and immediately took over with Kuuga right next to him behind a car.
"Damn it, why would he be here?"
"He's probably after this." W answered as he took out Dark Decade's card. "Found it in the rubble." W quickly explained before putting it away.
Kuuga looked to see if the monster was still firing only for a bullet to ricochet off his helmet. He immediately went back into cover.
"Any ides, you two?"
That was when W's eye blinked.
"This Dopant seems to rely on long range weapons. For now, we could fight fire with fire and try to get close enough for the kill." Rei proposed.
"Good with me!" Kuuga answered before noticing an officer's gun next to him. He picked it up.
"Chou Henshin!"
Kuuga transformed into his Pegasus Form with the gun turning into his bowgun. W got out two new Memories and pressed on them.
"LUNA!"
"TRIGGER!"
He replaced his default Memories with the new ones as he pushed the slots aside again.
"LUNA-TRIGGER!"
W changed forms and got his Trigger Magnum.
"Here's an idea, we'll split up and try to move up. Use anything as cover but we'll switch to our melee forms when we get close enough." W advised.
"Got it!" Kuuga said before moving to the left side and W moving to the right.
"Go!" W announced before he and Kuuga moved out and started firing at the Cyborg Dopant. The Cyborg Dopant started firing from its other wrist while the Riders were using everything they could see as cover.
Soon Kuuga was close enough and did his pose as he was running.
"Chou Henshin!"
He went into his Dragon Form and his gun turned to a staff. The Cybrog Dopant was dodging and was too focused on Kuuga to notice W changing forms as well.
"LUNA-METAL!"
W changed again and got his staff before it extended and moved like a whip. It struck against the Dopant's back as Kuuga jabbed him in the gut and knocked him in the head before the Dopant rolled over.
The Dopant got up as the Riders joined each other.
"Must…eliminate Riders." The Cyborg Dopant said before it formed a sword from its wrist. It charged and the two Riders blocked it only for the Dopant to get out its other blade and slashed Kuuga before kicking W away.
"Damn it…" W muttered as he got up only to see Kuuga being slashed mercilessly by the Cyborg Dopant. W tried to whip the Dopant again only for the Dopant to grab it and used it to throw W into a building.
W was little dizzy in getting up so his female side had to help as well. W made it outside and saw Kuuga being shot multiple times by the Cyborg Dopant. W launched his whip again and it was wrapped around the Cyborg Dopant.
Kuuga tried to use the opening only for him to be shot in the back. Kuuga soon reverted back to Yugi and lost consciousness before falling down, revealing Dark Decade. W looked at Dark Decade.
"You!" W recognized.
Dark Decade walked in front of the Dopant as it picked up Yugi.
"If you want to see your friend alive then I suggest giving me back my card." Dark Decade said.
W just stared at him before deciding to use his whip again. Dark Decade summoned a Gray Mirror in front of him and the Cyborg Dopant. The whip was deflected by the portal.
"I see. In that case, I'll give you twenty four hours to decide. Meet us in the parking building near Shibuya. I expect my card there." He then faced the Cyborg Dopant and nodded before the two went through, taking Yugi with them.
"Damn it!" W cursed before reverting back to Shinji and Fu catching up with him.
(Later at Double Detective Agency)
Shinji and Fu opened the door to see Nihlus, Asuka, and Amane.
"Where's Rei?" Fu asked.
"Garage." Nihlus answered before he and Fu went downstairs. Shinji then looked at Amane.
"So you're our new client, huh?" Shinji asked before heading downstairs to talk with Rei about the lookup. "I like to help you right now but we're busy at the moment."
"But-!" Amane started.
"Asuka, keep her company." Shinji said, surprising Asuka.
"Hey, why do I have to-!?" Before Asuka can finish, Shinji already closed the door on her, making her grit her teeth.
Shinji walked downstairs and approached Rei.
"Rei, are you ready?"
Rei nodded before closing her eyes and connecting herself to the GaiaLibrary. Nihlus walked up to Shinji.
"Why did the Dopant take Yugi?" Nihlus asked. Shinji didn't answer and brought out the Dark Decade card. Nihlus and fu were surprised and Nihlus took it.
He started at it and for some reason the card felt…wrong.
"Keyword?" Rei asked.
"Keyword: Dopant." Shinji answered, as he focused on the lookup. Nihlus soon gave him back the card. "Keyword: Dark Decade." Shinji said as he looked at the card. Nihlus stared at it before shaking his head.
Shinji then pulled out a black rose petal that he found earlier ago.
"Keyword: Black Rose."
Soon later, Rei opened her eyes and faced her partner.
"Well anything?" Shinji asked.
Instead of an answer, Rei immediately walked upstairs and faced Amane.
"You have some explaining to do." Rei said as Amane had an uncertain expression on her face.
"Rei, what's going on-Ow!" Shinji let out before Asuka hits him in the head with the slipper.
"Shinji, our new client is the partner of Keno Asaki, the Cyborg Dopant." Rei said.
(In the parking building)
Yugi was tied up and tried to get free but he soon saw Dark Decade.
"Well, that was easier than I thought." Dark Decade remarked as knelt down in front of Yugi.
"You won't get away with this!" Yugi barked with extreme anger.
"Maybe I will, maybe I won't. That's for fate to decide." Dark Decade started.
"If you believe in fate, then you know what yours is!" Yugi said. He was right in a way, anyone who lives just as Dark Decade does won't come out easily if they do at all.
"I don't follow my path for any selfish reason. I follow it for necessity."
"What?"
Dark Decade then stood up.
"It makes no difference. Either way I'll get what I want along with my card." Dark Decade said and soon a young burly man approached him.
He whispered something in his ear before Dark Decade nodded as a response.
"Good, proceed with the plan. Now then, let's see if fate will come into my favor." Dark Decade said.
(At Double Detective Agency)
"Look, it wasn't bad as it seemed. We were just two idiots that got over our heads." Amane started.
"Then start explaining."
Amane sighed.
"I and Keno were part of the Black Roses group, a small time group of thieves. We only stole money out of necessity. But we couldn't keep doing this all our lives."
"So did a man in a black suit offer you two a way out?" Shinji asked.
"Not a suit but a coat and he had a hood on so I couldn't see his face." Amane described.
"Dark Decade…" Nihlus silently muttered.
"He offered us this weird USB and gave it to Keno, free of charge. He used it to trans form into a…monster." Amane said as she remembered Keno's first transformation. "At first, he started stealing huge chain stores and started making money like I haven't seen."
"So when did you change your mind about this?"
"When Keno started losing control of himself and he started spending time with that dealer that started it all to begin with. He started becoming so cruel and destructive! It wasn't like him! I couldn't take it anymore so I came to you guys for help."
"Why us, though?" Shinji asked.
"Because, I overhead your names when I eavesdropped on Keno and that dealer along with where I can find you guys." Amane explained.
"Okay, so what now? I doubt you two still want to do this job." Asuka asked. It was true, their client was a criminal, someone who was against the detectives' work. Accepting a job from one seemed like a long shot.
"No, we will." Shinji answered.
"Eh?" Everyone, except Rei and Nihlus, said.
"But as payment, when we catch him…you two turn yourselves in."
"You…" Amane started.
"All clients have their reasons." Shinji started. "If we didn't consider that, we wouldn't be good detectives."
Amane smiled.
"Wow for a half-boiled idiot, you are full of conviction." Asuka said, making Shinji give her an angry look. He then looked at Amane.
"We'll take care of everything. Don't worry." Shinji smiled before Amane left. "Now then, we already know where we're supposed to meet them. All we have to do is surprise them." Shinji proposed before Rei started noticing something.
"You're starting to act a little stressed, Shinji." Rei observed.
"Of course I am!" Shinji answered. "Those bastards took a fellow Kamen Rider and one of them even considers himself one!"
"But it's just a nam-!" Asuka said before Shinji stopped her.
"The words 'Kamen Rider' is more than just a name! It's what the people of this world naturally gave us. I can't abandon anyone else who is a fellow Rider and I can never forgive anyone who rampages using that name…like Dark Decade!" Shinji explained.
"He's right." Nihlus said. "Being a Kamen Rider is more than just a title but a role one must take in order to protect humanity." He explained before getting up. He saw enough of the Rider shows to know that there's more to being a Kamen Rider than just a name, belt, and armor.
"Where are you going?" Asuka asked.
"To pick up Amane, she hasn't gone far. We're going to settle this now." Shinji explained but Asuka went to him.
"I'm coming too!"
"You…"
"Like I said, following you is way more exciting than being here." Asuka said.
"What about us? Should me and Nihlus come too?" Fu asked.
Shinji shook his head.
"Five is a big number. Three people will manage to attract less attention." Shinji said. They have the element of surprise here, they don't want to lose it now while they can get the jump.
"Wait, Shinji!" Rei called as Shinji stopped from exiting the building. "Think about it though, Dark Decade is a Rider that looks experienced. So why would he drop his card? We should investigate more and come up with a better plan." She advised. It was true, why would Dark Decade, a powerful warrior leave a weapon of his on the ground? It didn't make sense.
"But there's no time to waste!" Shinji answered as he walked up to Rei. "Two people are a single Kamen Rider in this world. You and me!"
Rei's eyes widened while Nihlus felt familiarity from this scene.
"What'll we do if we don't restore our reputation?" Shinji asked. W was Shinji and Rei, meaning that Rei's pride as a Rider was also on the line with Dark Decade loose and a feeling of kinship since Kuuga was captured.
Rei just stared at him and couldn't come up with an answer.
"We'll just improvise along the way." Shinji answered before leaving along with Asuka.
Rei just stared at the door.
"Rei, are you okay?" Fu asked.
"He's so half-boiled…" Rei said as she shook her head a little.
"But that's one of the things you like about him, right?" Nihlus asked. Rei looked at him.
"Maybe it is…" She answered before going to the garage.
"You think he's going to be alright?" Fu asked.
"I don't know…" Nihlus answered as he couldn't shake off the familiar scene.
(On a rooftop)
Dark Decade was watching the parking building through binoculars. He soon saw Shinji, Asuka, and Amane entering the building.
"It'll only be a matter of time." Dark Decade said before he heard a Gray Mirror materializing behind him.
Shadow Moon came out as Dark Decade turned to face him. Shadow Moon kneeled.
"My lord." He greeted before standing up.
"Shadow Moon, I suppose you have a good reason for wasting my time." Dark Decade said. He was quite in the middle of something.
"You can say that." Shadow Moon answered. "It appears the traitor has taken refuge in the Badan Empire."
This surprised Dark Decade.
"You're serious?"
Shadow Moon nodded.
"Yes, my lord. It is unknown if any of the current officers know about his status."
"Have them informed at once." Dark Decade ordered.
"As you wish."
"What of Shocker?" Dark Decade asked with a hint of irritation.
Truth be told, Dark Decade never liked Shocker to begin with. To him, they were a bunch of incompetent fools who don't know when to stay down especially since they were the ones that created Kamen Rider Ichigo and Nigo, the original Kamen Riders. The two escaped before the brainwashing can occur but...Shocker has just been taking a beating ever since.
It's one of the reasons, why he quitted being Shocker's leader and decided to lead fellow Dark Riders. However, they didn't know that. In fact, they still think Dark Decade is their leader but Dark Decade didn't object. He needed meat shields.
"They don't know about the traitor." Shadow Moon answered.
"Tell them to keep an eye out."
"I will do so at once." Shadow Moon said before he started to walk back to his Gray Mirror.
"Shadow Moon." Dark Decade called, causing Shadow Moon to stop.
"Yes, my lord?" Shadow moon asked as he turned to face him.
"You are the only one I can trust with this task: find the traitor and bring to me. But you are allowed to use whatever means necessary to capture him."
"I will not fail."
"Good and remember…if Shocker and Badan prove to be too incompetent…execute Order Alpha."
"Are you certain, my lord?" Shadow Moon asked. He was one of the few people who knows about Dark Decade's true feelings about the organizations but promised to keep it a secret.
"Well not right now, they still have their uses. Only when they stop being competent." Dark Decade clarified.
"Very well, is there anything else?"
"No, you are dismissed, old friend." Dark Decade said before going back to his original position. Shadow Moon bowed before leaving W's world.
(In the parking building)
Nihlus and Fu were watching W's fight with the Cyborg Dopant from the RevolGarry as Rei's body was resting behind them.
"HEAT-JOKER!" W changed as he charged. He jumped up and punched him with his fiery fists.
"Now, where's Kuuga and Dark Decade!?" W demanded to know as he sent one last punch to the Dopant, making him fly and roll around on the floor. The Dopant just laughed as it got up.
"This is starting to be fun!" The Dopant remarked. "You really are strong but…not strong as the Master is."
Soon they heard a vibration.
"Excuse me." The Dopant said before answering a call on his walkie-talkie.
"Huh?" W said confused.
"Keno, stop playing around now. It's time to get serious." Dark Decade said over the walkie-talkie.
"Roger." The Cyborg Dopant said before hanging up. "Looks like you get to see your friend soon enough. Now…the real fight begins." He then snapped his fingers.
Soon Masquerade Dopants started appearing everywhere and two of them took Asuka and Amane.
"Let me go! Who the hell are these guys!?" Asuka questioned.
"Asuka!" W exclaimed before Yugi appeared among the group. He was injured, gagged, and tied up. W's eye blinked.
"It can't be…a trap set up by the organization!" Rei exclaimed. Shinji and Rei thought they covered up the trail of the organization that was using Rei for new GaiaMemories. But it appears that they followed them after all.
"That's right, you two." The Cyborg Dopant remarked. "The Master said that you two would follow with his hint, as expected. You're really are good at sniffing things out as they say."
"He left his card there on purpose!?" Rei questioned.
The Cyborg Dopant just laughed and pointed the gun at his three hostages.
"You piece of trash!" W called.
"Stop it! Keno! Please! Stop!" Amane begged.
"I bet you can guess what this trash wants next?" The Cyborg Dopant started. "Undo your henshin. Then get the card out and lay it on the floor." He instructed.
W stared at them before slowly putting his Driver in its original position.
'Rei, we'll pretend to undo the henshin, but put in Luna.' Shinji proposed. 'We can reverse this using LunaJoker.'
'Got it.' Rei responded.
W removed the Heat Memory but…
"That won't work!" The Cybrog Dopant said as it fired something.
"LUNA!"
Before W could put it in, the projectile that was launched became attached the right slot, preventing anything to go in or out. The Luna Memory was soon blocked from entering.
"What!?" W exclaimed before the Cyborg Dopant fired at W. Soon, W's armor shattered and Shinji was blown away as Dark Decade's card fell out of his coat.
"Shinji!" Asuka called as Shinji couldn't get up.
Inside, Nihlus recognized the scene from the W show as Rei woke up.
"I can't let my guard down for a second. So…our target is in the vehicle, isn't she?" The Cyborg Dopant asked as he walked up and picked up the card.
Shinji's eyes widened.
"You guys were after Wondergirl from the beginning!?" Asuka questioned.
"Exactly! Correct!"
Shinji turned and saw Rei, Nihlus, and Fu coming out of the RevolGarry.
"Run, Rei! Everyone!"
The Dopants looked.
"There they are! Get them!" The Cyborg Dopant ordered. Nihlus quickly placed his belt on and got his card out.
"Henshin!"
He placed the card in his Driver and closed it.
"KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!"
Nihlus transformed into Decade and tried to shoot the Masquerade Dopants away as Fu was helping Rei escape. Shinji looked at Decade.
"Nihlus, go!"
"But-!"
"Protect Rei! That's all that matters!" Shinji exclaimed.
Decade looked at him before nodding and started running in their direction.
(Outside)
The two made it outside with Decade behind them. They were at some public park and stopped at the fountain. Rei just stood shocked over what happened.
"Rei, are you okay!?" Fu asked as she noticed Rei looked extremely troubled.
"What am I going to do now!? What am I going to do now!?" Rei thought out loud. Her partner, friend, client, and comrade were all captured along with Rei's only means of fighting.
"Rei, you could-." Decade started.
"You could come with me." A new voice said.
The three looked and saw Dark Decade.
"You…you were the one who set us up, weren't you!?" Fu questioned.
"Of course." Dark Decade answered. "I set all this up…just so Rei can be placed in Museum's hands again."
Rei stared at him as Fu and Decade got in front of her. Despite, Dark Decade not having his card he can still prove to be a fearsome foe.
"Why?" Fu asked.
"She is the Child of Fate. A human who has obtained a transcript of Earth. Now, you're coming with me." Dark Decade said with Rei backing away.
"I'm not going anywhere!" Rei answered.
"Stubborn girl, aren't you? But that's okay." Dark Decade said as he placed on his Driver. "I'll take you back through force."
He got a card out.
"Henshin!"
He placed the card in the Driver and closed it.
"KAMEN RIDE: PSYGA!"
Blue neon lines appeared throughout his body and transformed into Psyga. He flew with Decade trying to shoot him down. He looked back at Fu and Rei.
"Fu, get Rei out of here! I'll hold him off!" Decade said.
"Okay!" Fu responded before she and Rei ran.
DD-Psyga looked at them before flying towards them. Decade was on his trail.
Psyga fired his weapons at the two.
"Get down!" Fu said as she and Rei got down. Decade caught up and shot DD-Psyga in the back. He looked at him.
"I said I wouldn't fight you but that doesn't mean I can't defend myself!" DD-Psyga said before shooting Decade a few times.
Fu and Rei were crawling away while the two Decades were at each other until Rei heard a familiar mechanical roar.
Rei looked and saw the mechanical raptor from before. Her eyes widened as it was approaching her. She wasn't hallucinating.
"Fang!" She recognized as she remembered what happened last time they met which was…two years ago at the Begins' Night Case.
Fu looked at Fang and saw Rei's fearful face. Fu saw Rei's fearful face before looking at Fang. Rei grabbed a stick and aimed it at Fang.
"Go away!" Rei warned before throwing it at Fang, who jumped back in response. "Stay away from me! I don't need your power!"
Decade took cover behind a tree before placing a card in his Driver and closing it.
"ATTACK RIDE: BLAST!"
Decade aimed and fired but DD-Psyga dodged before he noticed the two girls trying to escape. He fired and the two dodged but Rei took her STAG Phone out and called the RevolGarry.
(With the others)
The Dopants have just finished tying up Shinji and got him to move. As they started to escort them, the RevolGarry's lights turned on and the vehicle started moving away, running over a few Dopants in the process.
"She's running away!? You've got be kidding me!" Asuka exclaimed. "What a coward!"
"Idiot!" Shinji called. "What she did was fine. It's fine, Rei. Just run."
The Cyborg Dopant walked up to Shinji before punching him in the gut, knocking him out.
"It's not over yet. This is just a fun beginning."
(With Decade, Fu, and Rei)
The girls got up and started to make a run for it but DD-Psyga noticed them.
"I won't let you!" He said before shooting at them.
Before the shots could hit, the RevolGarry appeared and blocked the shots. Rei and Fu quickly got in before Decade shot DD-Psyga's jetpack, making him fly out of control. Decade used the opportunity to get in before the RevolGarry moved out.
DD-Psyga detached from the jetpack before reverting back to his civilian form.
"Go ahead and run, we have hostages. It's only a matter of time before you come back." Dark Decade said before walked away from the scene.
(With the others)
"Keno, open your eyes! We're thieves. We don't do horrible stuff like this!" Amane begged as she tried to get free.
The Cyborg Dopant walked up to Amane before reverting back to Keno. He smiled.
"You know, you should try serving the Master, too. You'll understand it once you serve him." He laughed.
"Keno!"
Keno then grabbed her by the collar.
"Just leave me be. I serve the Master now." Kenor said before pushing her to the ground. Soon he, the Dopants, and the hostages left her.
(In the RevolGarry)
Fu was taking care and trying to calm Rei while Nihlus was looking to make sure that they weren't followed.
"Hey Rei, are you okay?" Fu asked, considering that Rei looked like she was scared to death.
"I can't afford to be caught." Rei explained. "But, I'm completely against using…that beast." Rei said as she remembered her time with Fang before passing out.
"Rei! Rei!" Fu called as she shook her.
"She's just tired especially after seeing Fang." Nihlus said.
"What's Fang?" Fu asked, remembering the mechanical raptor.
"Fang is W's seventh Memory." He explained.
"No way!" Fu exclaimed. That little machine is a GaiaMemory for W but Rei didn't want to use it though. "But, I saw Rei refusing it. Why?"
Nihlus sighed as he took a seat next to Fu.
"Let me ask you this, have you ever lost yourself to Nanabi's power?" Nihlus asked.
Fu recounted, there were times as a kid that she did and nearly went berserk.
"Yeah…"
"That's what Fang is to Rei." Nihlus said, shocking Fu. "As a beast that won't stop fighting and will fight anything, foe or friend."
"I see…" Fu commented as she looked at Rei. She understood why Rei didn't want to use, no one should fight like that. The two felt the vehicle parking and opening up, revealing the garage.
Rei woke up with Nihlus and Fu looking at her with worried looks. Rei got up and looked to see that they were back in the garage. She soon felt her STAG phone ringing.
She got it out and, though nervously, quickly picked it up and answered it.
"H-Hello?" Rei asked.
"Wondergirl!"
Rei's eyes widened at the voice.
"Asuka! Are you and the others okay!?" Rei asked as Nihlus and Fu rushed to hear the conversation.
"Well…we're still alive. That counts as something." Asuka answered before they heard sounds from the background as if the phone is being switched.
"Now then, be a good girl and come back here."
Rei recognized the voice.
"Keno Asaki…" She noticed.
"The location is the center is the abandoned factory in the refinery district. If I were you, I would hurry…before the Master decides that they're useless." Keno warned.
"Stay away!" Shinji shouted from the background. "You better not come, Rei!"
"Shinji!"
"Just forget me! This my punishment for ignoring my partner's warning." This was his fault to begin with. He was reckless and didn't take any precautions. This was his punishment, not Rei's. "If you come…then it's the end of our partnership!" Shinji warned before…
"AAAGGHHH!" Shinji screamed, meaning that Keno was beating him.
"Shinji!" A worried Rei called.
"You won't' be able to break off a partnership if you're dead." Keno warned. "Anyways, see you later." He then hung up.
"So what are we going to do?" Fu asked but instead Rei went upstairs at the table. Her hand dove through her hair and tried thinking.
"Well we can't just abandon them." Nihlus pointed out as they followed her upstairs.
Rei looked at them before hearing Fang's bark. She looked and saw Fang at a nearby table.
"I said go away!" Rei gawked as she grabbed a bottle and threw it at Fang. Fang jumped away and landed at the door.
Rei grabbed a pillow and threw it. Fang jumped again and the door opened.
"Hey, kid!" Souji opened the door only to be hit by pillow. "Ow!"
Then Watcherman came in.
"Hello!" Watcherman greeted before looking around. "Huh? Is Shinji around?" He asked.
"Merry Christmas!" Santa-chan greeted as he got in. "Huh? Is Shinji around?"
Then Souji Hitari got up and burst in.
"Alright kid, I-!" He then looked around. "Huh? Is that kid not around?"
"No, just us." Nihlus answered for Rei, seeing that she really wasn't in the mood for talking.
"Well, here have some presents." Santa-chan said as he gave the three presents.
"Inspector, did you come to pay here too?" Watcherman asked.
"Like I'd play! I'm just here to ask questions." Souji explained. "My department has just received info that one of the wanted phantom thieves of the Black Rose group was seen around here." He explained.
The three were obviously surprised by the information.
'Amane was released?' Rei thought.
(At the factory)
The three were trying to get out of their ropes but they tied them up good.
"These guys were really thorough in tying us up here." Shinji remarked.
"If I can just get my arms free, I can transform!" Yugi stated.
"Hey you guys, you think we can get out of here?" Asuka asked.
"Well Nihlus can get us out but I don't know if he can take this many guys." Yugi answered.
"If only we had Fang, then maybe Nihlus wouldn't have to fight alone…" Shinji muttered.
"Fang?" Both Yugi and Asuka questioned.
"Fang…is our seventh Memory for W." Shinji explained.
"Really!? How come you haven't used it then!?" Asuka asked.
"And where is it?" Yugi asked as well.
"How should I know?" Shinji replied. "Unlike our six Memories, Fang…is alive. And he appears to only show himself whenever he wants to."
"Alive?" Both Asuka and Yugi questioned as they tried to picture Fang Memory which was a cartoonish looking Memory with arms and legs.
"But even it does show up, I doubt Rei would accept it."
"Why not?"
"Two years ago, after I met Rei, we used Fang once but…." Shinji started as he remembered what happened afterwards.
(Two years ago)
Rei was sitting against the wall with her legs against her chest. She was sweating and her face was an expression filled with fear.
Shinji looked at her and tried to approach her, when he did, she started muttering something.
"I can't…" She started.
"Huh?"
"I can't…use that again." Rei said as she looked at her. Shinji never saw a more fearful face. "Please…don't make me use it again." She whimpered. "If we use Fang again…no, we can't. We just can't."
(Present)
"Let's just say that Fang had some side effects that weren't pretty." Shinji answered. "But all we can do is hope that the others will come for us."
(Later outside at night)
Amane was running from the cops.
"Stop right there!"
"You're under arrest!"
Amane was soon pulled to an alley. She sees Rei and Nihlus who gestured her to be quiet. The police soon stopped and saw Fu.
"Excuse me, Miss. But have you seen a woman pass by here recently?" An officer asked.
Fu nodded.
"She went that way." Fu answered as she pointed at a random direction that was farther from where Amane was actually.
"Thank you." The cop said before he and his fellow officers ran off that way. Soon the coast was clear after a few moments.
The four got to a safe location and Amane recognized these people.
"You were the guys from the agency a few hours ago." She remembered.
"It would be an inconvenience for us if you got arrested now. We need to learn about Keno." Rei explained. "Please, anything will do. We have to learn his weak spot."
"That's no longer that Keno that I knew." Amane answered.
'So there's nothing to learn here.' Rei remarked.
"But I still want to see him again." Amane said.
"Stop being so reckless." Rei advised. "He's already influenced by the GaiaMemory and Dark Decade."
"I know that, but I can't just do nothing." Amane said.
Rei didn't get it. Amane is willing to put herself through so much trouble just to save Keno, who was lost to the Memory and Dark Decade for too long.
"Please stop this recklessness." Rei advised.
"But she can't." Nihlus answered back. "She's only doing this because Keno is her partner. She just can't leave him behind because the two share a connection, right?"
Amane nodded.
"That's right, the two of us are one." Amane answered.
Rei's eyes widened as Shinji's voice ran through her head.
"Two people are a single Kamen Rider in this world. You and me!"
Rei thought about it. Nihlus was right and looking back at it now; this was similar to her and Shinji. The two detectives shared a bond in which you can't have one without the other. Rei just can't abandon Shinji and she's now willing to do whatever it takes to rescue him…even if it meant using Fang.
"Thank you, I think I know what to do now." Rei said with a determined face on. "C'mon, guys!" She said before she, Nihlus, and Fu ran off.
"So you have a plan?" Fu asked.
"More like decision." Rei answered before hearing Fang's bark. She stopped and looked to see Fang on a tree branch. Instead of running away or screaming at it, Rei just stared at it before making a decision.
(In the warehouse at morning)
Shinji, who was still tied up, was hanging by a rope which was being pulled by Asuka. Shinji was over a pit of spikes while Yugi was still tied up, trying to get his arms free.
"Keno, you bastard!" Shinji cursed.
Asuka was trying her best to lift Shinji but she couldn't keep up for long. The Syborg Dopant was just laughing at the situation.
"He's pretty heavy, isn't he?" The Cyborg Dopant mocked. "But I suppose you're reaching your limit now, haven't you?"
Nearby, Dark Decade was watching.
"Well he knows how to make things suspenseful." He said.
Asuka was still trying so hard that her hands were starting to bleed from the rope. Shinji then sighed.
"Asuka! That's enough."
"Huh!?"
Shinji sweated as he gulped but kept a calm face on.
"Could you…take care of Rei for me? And tell her that I'm sorry…for everything." Shinji said. His only regret was that he seemingly ended off on a bad note with Rei.
"You could tell her that yourself!" Asuka said before she was forced to let go.
Shinji's hat fell first into the pit and the other hostages and shocked faces while the Cyborg Dopant looked excited. Shinji closed his eyes as he prepared for the worst but when he opened them…he was still hanging. He looks up to see Fang holding the rope by the mouth.
"Fang!" Shinji recognized before realizing. "Wait, but that means…"
He soon heard motorcycle noises and they looked to see the HardBoiler and Machine Decader coming in with Rei and Nihlus as the drivers with Fu as a passenger. They stopped their bikes, took off their helmets, and got off.
"She's here…"
Dark Decade just had an indifferent face behind his hood.
Rei stared the scene with a serious face while Nihlus placed his Driver on, opened it, and took out his card but didn't transform yet.
"Rei!" Shinji called. If Fang was here, then is Rei being serious about using it then.
"Wondergirl…"
"Nihlus! Fu!" Yugi called.
"Go ahead and break off our partnership, Shinji." Rei started as the Masquerade Dopants got in front of them. "But I won't allow you, though. I'm going to make sure you pay for this, Keno."
"Huh?"
"I won't be responsible for what happens here." She then looked at Nihlus. "If things go too far, you know what to do."
Nihlus looked at her before nodding.
"Rei, y-you're going to use Fang!?" Shinji asked but after looking at Rei's serious face, the answer was obvious. "Hey! You have some kind of plan, right!?"
"I'll just improvise." Rei answered.
Shinji remembered giving her the same answer yesterday.
"Today, I'm going to be like you and Miwa Amane. I'm going to try acting without reason…so I can try to save you." Rei answered.
"Rei…" Shinji said surprised. Rei was always the smart and cautious one but now she's the reckless and determined fighter today.
"Shinji, please ride with me to Hell itself." Rei said before looking at Fang. "Come to me, Fang!" She ordered.
Fang swung Shinji away from the pit, making him land on Asuka. Fang then moved a little through the rafters before jumping to Rei's hand. She then folded the robotic dinosaur and now it looked like a dinosaur's head. She then flipped the tail, revealing the Memory. The Fang Memory was white with a sharp letter 'F' on it. Rei tapped the button.
"FANG!"
"So she's using that, huh?" Dark Decade inquired.
Rei's Driver soon appeared on her waist and Shinji looked at his Driver. To everyone's surprise, except the detectives and seemingly Nihlus, it was Shinji's Joker Memory that teleported.
It soon reappeared in the left slot of Rei's Driver and she pushed it in.
"REI, DON'T DO IT!"
Rei, however, still had a determined face on.
"Henshin!"
She then plugged the Fang Memory and separated the slots. Rei then pushed the dinosaur head so it rested atop the Driver as a horn folded out.
"FANG-JOKER!"
Rei roared as a tornado and lightning surrounded her body. The burst of power blew everyone away as particles melded with her body.
Then Shinji passed out, to everyone's surprise.
Soon in Rei's place was a new W. The suit was now half white with a black trim on the right and black with purple trim on the left. The suit now had spikes along the sides and the eyes had jagged sides. W's antennae looked more like simplified lightning bolts and the shoulders had spikes as well. Another new feature was that W's body looked way more feminine than male. This was Kamen Rider W FangJoker.
"No way…" Yugi started.
"This time it was Wondergirl's body that became W." Asuka finished.
Fu looked shocked while Nihlus had a cautious face on.
"Nihlus, what's wrong?"
"You'll see." Nihlus answered.
"What!?" The Cyborg Dopant gawked in surprise.
W continued roaring before she charged. The Masquerade Dopants charged in response with W jumping in and knocking a few away.
"What kind of W is that!?"
W continued fighting and eventually grabbing two Masquerade Dopants before throwing them to the side. W then roared like a berserker before fighting. As they were fighting, Asuka and Fu dragged Yugi and Shinji's body to a safe spot.
Nihlus then decided to intervene.
"Henshin!"
He placed the card in before closing the Driver.
"KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!"
Nihlus ran as he transformed into Decade. He was fighting a few Masquerade Dopants as the others were trying to restrain W.
W, however, threw them off before kicking another and throwing a different Masquerade Dopant into a support beam. She continued punching them before pouncing on a Masquerade Dopant and beat him with her fist.
She then pushed the horn on Fang Memory once.
"ARM FANG!"
Soon a curved white blade extended from her right wrist and she slashed through two Masquerade Dopants before exploding. She continued slashing through them and slashed the ones that Decade was fighting.
"Rei-!" Decade called before W slashed him a few times and kicked him away.
"Nihlus!" Fu called before going to Decade's side.
"I'm fine." Decade said as he tried to get up while looking a W. "But I don't know about those two."
Fu saw W's berserker state and can relate. She could see why Rei feared Fang and its power because it was like her and Nanabi during her childhood.
W stopped for a second as if she was being restrained. Her left eye started blinking.
"Rei, stop this! Just calm down!" Shinji warned but W broke free and continued rampaging.
W then looked at the Cyborg Dopant and charged.
"S-Stop!" The Cyborg Dopant warned before firing his gun.
The bullets didn't seem to affect her as she slashed the Dopant. Dark Decade was observing.
"So she's using it…" Dark Decade observed as the female W was showing no mercy to the Cyborg Dopant. "The Memory that exists to protect her. In order to protect Rei,it will use whatever means to do so. A warrior who will eliminate all enemies. A being who can give W…a different face." Dark Decade noted as W was clawing the Cyborg Dopant.
W's eye blinked again as she grabbed the Cybrog Dopant.
"I see! This is Rei when she's afraid!" Shinji noted. Rei was fearful after the first experienced but…that fear is what fueling Fang's berserker state.
The Cyborg Dopant flew and rolled on the floor and noticed Asuka nearby. He got up and grabbed her.
"Stand up!"
"Hey!" Yugi called while struggling to get free.
"What do you think of this?" The Cyborg Dopant asked as he held Asuka with his sword against her neck.
W just roared while her eye blinked.
"Asuka!" Shinji called as W charged.
"Stop! Don't get any closer! I'm warning you!"
"Rei, stop!" Decade called as he tried to rush towards W.
"Wondergirl, stop!"
"Why, you! Stop!" Shinji said once more.
W was getting more and more closer and seemed intent on slashing even with Asuka as a hostage.
"I said stop, aibou!" Shinji called out. Soon W was close enough and Asuka closed her eyes for the worst but…W stopped.
Asuka opened her eyes and saw that the Arm Fang was inches away from her neck. She looked at W.
"Asuka, I'm fine now. Are you okay?" The female W asked.
"Wondergirl…" Asuka sighed in relief as did the others.
W pulled Asuka out and punched the Cyborg Dopant, making him roll away. Soon Decade joined W as she crossed her arms in a thinking position before pointing at the Dopant with her right arm.
"Saa, omae no tsumi o kazoero!" W said in her dual voice.
The Cyborg Dopant tried to run away before W taped the horn twice while Decade got his gun out and placed a card in his Driver.
"SHOULDER FANG!"
"ATTACK RIDE: BLAST!"
For W, a curved blade on her right shoulder. She grabbed it and she along with Decade aimed as the Masquerade Dopants were trying to cover the Cyborg Dopant. The two fired.
The shots destroyed a few of the Dopants while the Shoulder Fang was flying around them and slashing them like a boomerang. It soon moved towards and slashed the Cyborg Dopant, downing him before flying back to W.
Amane soon arrived and looked at the Riders. W looked at her.
"Let's finish Miwa Amane's case now." W proposed. Her left eye blinked.
"For a Memory Break, we need the right and left sides in synch. It's Fang's special move so…how about Fang Strizer?" Shinji asked.
"Pick whatever name you want." W answered before she looked at Decade. "Mind helping?"
"No problem." Decade said as he got his card out and used it while W tapped the horn three times. The Cyborg Dopant got up to see.
"FANG! MAXIMUM DRIVE!"
"FINAL ATTACK RIDE: D-D-DECADE!"
For W, a curved blade extended from her right ankle and Decade's cards appeared in front of him. The two jumped up and prepared their kicked. Decade's was a flying sidekick while W's was a flying roundhouse kick. Decade flew through the cards while W began twisting as blue energy formed around her.
"FANG STRIZER!"
The two soon collide their attacks with the Dopant but at the Ankle Fang connect with the Dopant, energy formed into a dinosaur head which bit down on it.
The Cyborg Dopant exploded before he reverted back to his human form and the Cyborg memory shattering to pieces.
"Hmph, seems fate is in their favor today." Dark Decade muttered before he drove his bike through a Gray Mirror.
"Keno!" Amane called before going to Keno's side.
"Miwa…" Keno muttered.
"Keno!" She said, glad that she was alright now. The two stared at this reunion while Asuka and Fu were untying Yugi.
(At the studio)
Nihlus looked through his cards at the table and stopped at the W card. His eyes widened. The card was unsealed or at least, the Cyclone Side was unsealed. The left side was still grayed out. Maybe helping Rei accept Fang's power was enough to seal the Cyclone side of the card.
He soon went outside and saw Fu approaching the Agency.
"Fu, what are you doing?"
"I just wanted to check up on Rei." Fu explained before…
BOOM!
The two heard the explosion from the agency and rushed in. They soon opened the basement door.
"Good boy!" She complimented before all of Fang's parts gathered and Fang rebuilt himself. He barked happily.
Shinji just smiled as did the two travelers. Nihlus silently took a picture while Fu was imaging her and Nanabi in a similar fashion.
'You should be a little more…fun to be with.'
"Don't push it."
'Please?' She mentally begged.
"Ugh…We'll see." Nanabi answered as Nihlus and Fu continued watching.
(Omake: Rider Mysteries I)
Nihlus and Yugi were playing Uno until…
"Nihlus! I have a question." Fu said as she approached the Riders.
"Cars and motorcycles aren't possessed by demons." Nihlus quickly answered, remembering the last conversation he had with Fu regarding her adaption to technology.
"No, but I did ride a bus today and I wasn't even tempted to break out the window." Fu said. "Anyways, I wanted to ask you about…this." Fu answered as she pulled out a board with a question. Nihlus and Yugi read it.
"Nostradamus's prophecy?" Both of them said.
"I've been doing my reading and I found a prophecy that said that in July 7, 1999, the King of Terror will arrive and obliterate humanity." Fu explained.
"Fu, it's 2014." Nihlus said.
"I know that but…should any of this be taken seriously though."
"That's an obvious answer." A new voice said and Fu looked.
"You!" She recognized.
"Saa, omae no tsumi o kazoero!" W said in the dual voice.
"W!" They recognized.
"Well, Nostradamus' prophecy is popular…because his book was a best seller in 1973, selling more than 5 million copies." W explained.
"Along with a large amount of money as well." W's female side said.
"Nostradamus believed he received a vision from God and that became his first prophecy. Soon using his knowledge of astrology, he made several others." W continued.
"But as you can see this isn't 1999 and there has been no apocalypse. Basically, just forget about it." W's female side explained.
"They do have a point." Nihlus said.
"But, there was one prophecy in which the planets line up in the form of a cross and Earth gets torn in the gravitational force. Would that really be something to ignore?" Fu asked.
"Hold it!" A new voice said and Fu looked.
"Souji!" She recognized.
"Walking the Path of Heaven, the one will rule everything. Kamen Rider Kabuto!" Kabuto said as he did his pose before walking in.
"Oh, so you want to disagree with me?" W asked as Kabuto entered the room.
"Actually, the opposite." Kabuto answered.
"Huh?" W was surprised while his eye blinked.
"That's rare."
Kabuto faced Fu.
"Obaa-chan said this, 'Old men may seem wise but that wisdom doesn't come from them'." Kabuto quoted. "Fu, just because one man wrote a vivid description of an impending apocalypse doesn't mean it's true."
"You do have a point, Souji. But isn't this worth looking into at least?" Fu asked.
"Of course not." Kabuto answered.
"That's right, prophecies are only in the business of fear." W said.
"Hold it!" A new voice said and Fu looked.
"You!" She recognized.
"You don't fight, you don't survive! Kamen Rider Ryuki!" Ryuki said as he introduced himself. He walked in.
"Oh so you're here to disagree with us?" Kabuto asked.
Ryuki nodded.
"You believe in such ridiculous prophecies?" W asked next.
"I don't have a choice. Because in 1999, humanity was destroyed." Ryuki explained.
"EHHHHH!?" Everyone said as they gathered around Ryuki.
"What do you mean!?" Yugi asked.
"And how are we all still here!?" Nihlus asked.
"Listen carefully." Ryuki said before starting his story.
(July 7, 1999)
"No one else know this but…the King of Terror really did arrive from the sky and destroyed humanity in 1999."
A black hole opened up and out of it came the King of Terror. King laughed as he aimed his gun and fired. It fired a black orb and landed in Tokyo. It soon turned to a massive explosion which consumed the Earth.
"EHHHHH!?"
"Completing his wish, the King of Terror laughed proudly."
King laughed as he looked at the wreckage around him and not a human in sight. He soon started to explore.
"But after completing his goal, he had nothing left to do."
King was looking around the wreckage throughout the years only finding nothing but rocks and junk. As the years gone by, King was starting to get bored.
"All alone on Earth, the King of Terror was bored…and a little lonely."
He started wandering around before he was on his knees and started to cry.
"He started to cry."
"What have I done!?" King moaned in sorrow until…an idea popped in his head.
"That's when he remembered a future Rider that he hadn't destroyed yet."
King used his power to summon the remaining Rider and he appeared before him. He turned and faced him.
"Ore…Sanjou! Kamen Rider Den-O!" Den-O Announced as DenLiner appeared behind him. King laughed as he and Den-O got on before the train moved through time.
(Alternate July 7, 1999)
King appeared in a bright light with his gun. He saw that humanity was still alive.
"Den-O returned time to 1999."
King threw his gun away and started cheering.
"Alright! Yes!" King cheered as he looked at the city, deciding what to do now.
"So on that day, he decided to kill time by fighting super heroes."
King nodded to himself, now thinking that this was the only option left for him.
(Present)
"And that's what happened and why we are still here." Ryuki ended.
"To think that humanity was actually destroyed once…" Fu mused.
"Yeah…" Yugi muttered.
Ryuki nodded but soon heard typing. He turned and was surprised.
"What are you guys doing!?" Ryuki asked.
Kabuto and Decade were writing while W was on his typewriter.
"Writing down your Nostradamus's prophecy…the Den-O Volume!" Kabuto answered.
"It'll surely be a hard-boiled novel!" W said while his eye blinked.
"We already typed up the first few chapters." His female side said.
"We might even score a movie version!" Decade said as he was writing a script.
"Maybe I should get to work as well." Ryuki said before going to the desk and looking at a part of Decade's script.
"Hey, what are you doing!?"
"I believe this is technically my work since I'm the original source." Ryuki explained before taking some of the others.
"Hey! What are you doing!?"
"That's mine!"
"At least, let me see what you put down."
"Can it, Lelouch!" Decade said.
Yugi and Fu were just watching.
"Oh boy." They said in synch.
