Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature and vast size of SCP-AAB, it is impossible to contain. Instead, signs have been posted all around the area showing it as a restricted area due to it being an endangered wildlife area. The area is guarded by 24/7 surveillance drones due to the [data expunged] incident.
Description: SCP-AAB Is a Norse mythology demigod known as Jōtunn and is supposedly a child of Loki which is a plausible theory given SCP-AAB's supernatural abilities. SCP-AAB seems to either reside entirely inside of a forest of [data expunged] of Romania. whether it resides here because the forest is its territory or because it is trapped here by some means are entirely unknown. SCP-AAB has shown to occasionally release its monstrous roars which in turn could trigger curiosity to any who wander too close.
SCP-AAB's body is of a seemingly mutated moose like anatomy structure with a massive increase in growth and an elongated and spiked spine, its head also largely misshaped and seems to resemble two headless dead bodies attacked to each other with the lower body's hands acting as pinches for the mouth, while the upper body's arms stand in a constant flexed pose and had moose antlers instead of hands. SCP-AAB does have two yellow eyes that are hidden beneath its head and just below the severed neck of the lower torso of its head.
SCP-AAB is able to freely manipulate the forest turning it into different forms of scenery or an entirely new environment at will with the sole intent to mock or test its prey. It does this in a means to test its prey on their mental capabilities and why they should be "chosen" those who fail the test are eaten by SCP-AAB. those who pass however are given immortality by SCP-AAB and are allowed to freely reside within the forest, though they can never leave. Interviews with [data expunged] have shown that even when one has been chosen and branded are not free from SCP-AAB's wrath as SCP-AAB is very easily aggravated and will kill and devour anything in its path until it gets what it wants.
because of [data expunged] escape from SCP-AAB forest the approval of the release of twenty Class D personal into SCP-AAB's forest to see if such an event can happen again.
Addendum X-2
- the testing of SCP-AAB and the 20 class D members begins. Area of SCP-AAB is surrounded by common Foundation Security and Staff, along with Lambda-5 forces.
all class D memebers are released via truck and told that they are free as long as they can get through the forest.
- 10 minutes into testing.
Two weapon cases are dropped into the forest via helicopter in order to assist the 20 Class D members in there eventual fight against SCP-AAB, the sound of SCP-AAB roaring can be heard within the forest yet the helicopter crew report no visual. the following second one of the weapons crates was thrown at the helicopter as it is leaving the vicinity. the helicopter is undamaged, and the crew is unharmed however the crew later claims that the box was thrown from a location that was nowhere close to where it was originally dropped.
- 30 minutes into testing.
screaming of the class D members as well as the aggressive roaring of SCP-AAB can be heard from within the forest.
- 50 minutes into testing.
the screaming has now stopped and the forest in silent.
- 1 hour into testing.
many voices can be heard from the edges of the forest calling out to the guards and soldiers on standby. drone audio recordings confirm that it is happening on all around the forest however none of the voices are recognizable. from either the 20 class D members or even the victims of the [data expunged] incident.
- 1 hour and 2 minutes into testing.
[data expunged] all surviving units were forced to evacuate.
- 28 hours into testing.
anomaly has finally stopped.

"There is still much we don't know of SCP-AAB, we thought we knew everything about the monster like how it is supposedly the child of the Norse god loki and how it shares his power of illusions. However, after the forest turned [data expunged] like out of a fucking nightmare I think it's safe to say that we massively underestimated its power. Speaking of which a formal request to change the object form Thaumiel to Keter has been made. Also, a direct line to MTF Eta-5 has been established should the time ever come that SCP-AAB is no longer deemed safe for testing or containment and must be destroyed. Interview with Dr. Zeek and one of the 6 surviving Lambda-5 soldiers of the 200 Foundation staff stationed all around SCP-XXXX.
Dr. Zeek: "good evening."
Lambda-5-26: "..."
Dr. Zeek: "hm, alright mate. you need a minute or you-?"
Lambda-5-26: "no... no sorry I... I can do this."
Dr. Zeek: "good, let's start from the beginning? what exactly happened after the voices started."
Lambda-5-26: "everyone was freaking out; it was so creepy all those voices coming from the forest. We didn't recognize any of them and we couldn't understand what they were saying, but that didn't make it any less creepy."
Dr. Zeek: "then?"
Lambda-5-26: "then something grew out of the forest..."
Dr. Zeek: "... like what?"
Lambda-5-26: "I- I don't really know... it was... I think they were arms, but they weren't moving right, and I- I don't remember seeing hands... did they have hands? I think they had fingers? but they didn't move right. or did they? I don't even know... and they were covered in these spots that looked like eyes... I think they were eyes..."
Dr. Zeek: "ok... so giant strange arms with eyes all over them sprouted out of the forest, then what?"
Lambda-5-26: "we activated the dimensional lock field! we had to because those things were going to kill us. but... oh... that's why I can't remember what they looked like..."
Dr. Zeek: "... why?"
Lambda-5-26: "because they were moving so damn fast. we never stood a chance we couldn't even shot them with our guns because of how fast and powerful they were."
Dr. Zeek: "did anything else happen?"
Lambda-5-26: "I don't even know what else happened after that, I was just dragged away after everyone in my area was killed."
Dr. Zeek: "Ah, I see so that's what happened... Jesus, sounds like a nightmare... anything else you might want to add?"
Lambda-5-26: "... I thought I saw my mom in the forest, she was yelling to me that I would be safe in the forest."
Dr. Zeek: "And you didn't even try to listen?"
Lambda-5-26: "Of course not, I don't know what that thing was, but I've seen enough anomalies to know when one will show me an illusion just to get me in its trap. besides I was too scared to move anyways. those things were so fast that I was afraid taking a single step meant death. If it wasn't for that guy who saved me, I wouldn't even be here today."
Dr. Zeek: "I see. thank you for your time, mate. Dr. Corvio will see you now."
Lambda-5-26: "about damn time..."
