A/N: Well it's been a minute, a very long one. I had the pleasent surprise to get reviews for this story over the last week, prompting me to go re-visit what I had written and I found a chapter that't I've written eons ago it seems so here it is.
Aaron shifted in bed and quickly realized that he wasn't in his own and the extra weight on his chest brought the last night's events back to his memory. Silky skin, moans ringing in his ears, making him hard again. She shifted against him and he turned his head, looking at her. Her hair was slightly draped as a curtain over her face and he brushed it aside with his fingers and she snuggled closer into him. Now that his brain wasn't infused with alcohol, he looked at her properly. The sheet was hanging low against their hips and he looked at the curve of her neck, his fingers ghosting the trail he was doing with his eyes. He shifted under her and moved to his side to have a better view of her. His fingers twitched with the need to touch her, remember what her skin felt like under his fingertips. Would she view what happened between them a drunken mistake or would they have a conversation about it and see where they went from there? He felt ready to jump into a relationship with her, no matter what nature it would have because she made him feel things that he hadn't felt since moving to Washington. He ultimately gave into his need to touch her and moving her hair behind her shoulder, he brushed a thumb against her cheek before doing the same to her lower lip. She didn't move an inch as he explored her upper body but when he moved his hand to her back, running it against her spine, he moved closer to her and pressed his lips to hers, the mix of hand to skin with their lips together enough to give her a shiver. She still had her eyes closed but deepened the kiss, a low moan escaping her lips as her body woke up and reacted to him in the best of ways.
"Good morning." He whispered as they parted.
"Morning." She mumbled, slowly opening her eyes.
"So." He didn't want his morning to end prematurely but he didn't want to beat around the bush.
"Aren't you late for work?" Was the first thing her brain cooked up.
"President Kirman ordered me the day off." He smiled when he saw her lips curve into one too.
"So that means that we don't have to get out of this bed anytime soon."
"It does have that advantage." He agreed. "Any suggestion on what you want to do in this bed?"
"How about." She straddled him, his hands going to her waist. "We get to know each other better again."
"Again?" He flipped them, pinning her under him.
"Yeah, you know, without the alcohol." She tried pulling him to her for a kiss but he pulled against her.
"Only if I go first." He leaned down for a kiss.
"Okay." She shivered in anticipation, knowing what was waiting for her.
Aaron moved from her lips to her neck, leaving open mouth kisses there, Emily's body arching into his, extra responsive to his touch. He moved to her shoulder and his left hand trailed her right arm before bringing it over her head, doing the same with the other one and pinning them high above her head. She abandoned herself to him and he pulled one of her nipples into his mouth, a strangled moan escaping her lips. He smiled into his ministration as her body responded to every touch, every swirl of his tongue. He gave the same attention to her other nipple before continuing a trail of kisses down her tight stomach. He let her run her fingers through his curls as he kissed closer to her center. He looked at her with a smile before placing a hand on her pelvis to steady her and plunging his fingers deep inside of her. Her reaction was loud and powerful as he pushed in and pulled out and pushed back in again. Her body was already shaking with want and her pelvic muscles contracted against his fingers.
"Please." One hand had moved to bunch in the sheets of her bed.
"Where do you want me?"
"Deep, inside." She panted. He simply smiled at her request and pulled his fingers out, kissing his way back up to her lips. She wrapped an arm around his neck as they kissed, Aaron positioning himself at her entrance. He pushed deep inside of her as she bit down on his lower lip. He hid in the crook of her neck as she wrapped around him perfectly.
"Jesus Em." He gritted his teeth as she contracted her muscles around him.
"Scared you won't last?" She whispered seductively in his ear.
"Scared that I will?" He countered, now looking in her eyes with a shit eating grin on his face.
"Are you accepting my challenge?" She nipped at his lips.
"I never back down from a challenge." He pulled out of her and pushed back in harder, eliciting a moan from her lips. He repeated the movement, his hands moving against her body, her fingers grasping the muscles on his back. They were tight but they moved fluidly under her fingers as he worked her mercilessly. She wrapped a leg around his calf, the other one around his hip, giving him a new angle to push deep inside of her. He went at a steady pace, determined to make her last the least.
"Yes, right there." He sped up and thrust harder, a string a curse escaping her lips. "Fuck."
"Let yourself go, I know you want to." He kissed her as he pushed into her hard, swallowing her scream. He thrust through her orgasm, but she contracted her muscles one last time and she milked him for all that he was worth. He grunted as he emptied himself inside of her, his forehead against her chest as he tried to catch his breath.
"This was hot." She breathed out as Aaron rolled off of her and onto his back.
"Even better than last night, if that's even possible." He breathed heavily.
"What are we doing Aaron?" She turned on her side and looked at him as he tried to catch his breath.
"I don't know." He turned his head to the side to be able to look at her. "I've been asking myself the same question since I saw you in the bar last night."
"What do you want us to be doing?"
"Both of our lives are chaotic Emily, it hardly leaves space for a relationship."
"Do we have to define what we are right now?"
"I suppose not." He turned on his side to face her as well. "What I do know is that I don't want to stop seeing you."
"I don't want to stop seeing you either." She smiled at him.
"How about you come over to my place tonight and I'll cook you diner, sort of like a first date?"
"How about I start by cooking you breakfast?"
"Sounds like a good idea." He pulled her to him and kissed her. "Is it okay if I borrow your shower?"
"Across the hall." He kissed her one more time before getting up. She followed him with her eyes until he was out of sight, tucking her bottom lip between her teeth. The man had muscles at all the right places under those perfectly tailored suits and god if he knew how to use them. When she heard the shower start running, she swung her legs to the side of the bed and got up. She found his shirt on the ground and slipped into it over her bra and panties, rolling the sleeves up and buttoning it half-way, making her way to her fridge. She started a fresh pot of coffee and pulled out eggs and milk from the fridge. She had fresh fruit and whipped cream in the fridge and if they were going to spend the morning together, she was going to cook him a big breakfast.
"Did you see, my." His question died on his tongue as he saw Emily standing in the middle of her kitchen wearing nothing but his shirt.
"Your what?" She gave him a seductive smile as he walked in with only a towel around his waist.
"Never mind, I found the thief." He leaned down and kissed her. "It's a good thing I'm hungry."
"Work up an appetite, did you?"
"More than once." He kissed her again.
"Go get dressed and it'll be ready."
"I'll be right back." He returned about five minutes later, placing his tie and jacket on the side of her couch. He was missing a key item but his shirt did look good on Emily so he didn't care if he had to wait to get it back.
"Here you go." She placed a plate with two waffles with a swirl of whipped cream with a bowl of fruit for them to share. There was also bacon on a plate.
"Those look good."
"The jury's still out on that one." It was the first time she actually made that recipe and he was going to be the first to taste test it.
"The jury gives his thumbs up, those are great."
"Thanks." They talked while they ate, getting to know a little bit more about the other. Emily told Aaron about coming from a small town of Akron and being in DC for the first time and how she managed to snag a low-level entry job the week following her move into town. For his part, Aaron told her about getting a gig in the mail room of Senator Richmond's cabinet when he moved in from Texas years prior to him running for President.
Aaron liked the way she made him feel and how it was easy being around her. Maybe he had been wrong about his assumption that the chaotic lives they lead couldn't be conducive to a relationship because she made him believe that they could make it happen.
"How come Kirkman gave you off today?" She doubted it was common practice.
"You can't hide much in the White House. Someone told him that I've been skipping on sleep in order to be at work."
"I heard President Kirkman was a good man, but this just proves it."
"He's proven a lot of things since taking office, things that people didn't think he could do."
"That kind of life changing moment forces people to do things they never thought they could do. I'm glad that it hasn't changed him in that regard."
"Me too." He smiled. "So, tell me." He put a piece of bacon in his mouth. "How is it that you became a political consultant at such a young age?"
"Worked my way up to there. I went to evening classes to gain more knowledge and I worked hard and made a name for myself."
"I'm glad that you did." He smirked. "So, about tonight?"
"What about it?" She quirked an eyebrow at him and smiled.
"Any kind of preference, allergies?"
"The only preference I have is red wine. Anything else is up for grabs."
"Okay, I can work with that." His mind was already coming up with what he was going to make for them but for that, he'd have to get going. "This was really good." He stood, starting to empty the table under Emily's protests that he was a guest in her house but he wasn't listening, so she watched him as he did the dishes, shirtless.
"You know, it's not fair."
"What's not?" He called over his shoulder.
"What my eyes are seeing."
"I don't recall saying you could take my shirt so you brought this upon yourself." He chuckled as he finished the last of the dishes. "I'm going to need to take it back now though." He turned and leaned against her counter, crossing his arms over his chest.
"You'll have to take it off of me if you want it." She stood from her chair and started walking backwards towards her room
"Playing hard to get already?" There was one thing that Aaron didn't back down from and that was a challenge. He walked towards her and with his longer strides, she was pulled into him quickly, his lips finding hers in a searing kiss. His hands cupped her cheeks as hers lingered on his hips as she slipped her tongue past his lips. Aaron forced himself to pull away, needing air and some restraint because he'd still be here by dinner if he didn't stop.
"What are you doing?" She reached towards him and pulled him to her by the belt.
"Stopping what you're trying to start." He looked at her hand looped around his belt before looking back up at her. "I need my shirt." He raised his hands and started unbuttoning his shirt on her.
"You're no fun." She pouted and he could only laugh at her facial expression.
"Maybe you should catch your breath and get your strength up for tonight." He whispered against her lips.
"You're such a tease." She growled.
"Look who's talking." He pushed his shirt off her shoulders and down her arms before he slipped his arms in it.
"Your loss." She smirked before turning around and getting dressed in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.
"Rain check." He promised. She followed him out of the room and he slipped into his shoes, putting his suit jacket back on, slipping his tie in a side pocket. "So I'll see you at my place later?" He leaned down and kissed her.
"Yeah." She quickly realised she didn't have his address so she slipped her hand in the inside of his jacket and pulled his blackberry out and put it face to him to unlock it before she easily went in his contacts and slipped her phone number in there. "Text me your address later." She smiled.
"Thank you for breakfast." He walked through her front door and turned to face her.
"Thanks for the dishes." She was slightly blushing just thinking about him shirtless.
"I intend to collect on that later." He leaned into her door and kissed her. She swallowed painfully and managed to nod through the thought. She heard his mirthful laugh as she closed the door and leaned against it. She didn't think that the previous night would end like this but the thought of starting something with Aaron turned her insides on fire and she was ready to be consumed by it.
A/N: So here it is. hope you like it and don't forget to review before you leave. I'll try not to wait so long before I update again. - Sarra
