Hey, readers! BD and GOTA, here, with the amended version of "The Deku Syndrome." We wrote this originally in 2018 before leaving it on hiatus until recently. We have since written newer chapters and amended certain events to our liking.
As a warning, the story contains strong sexual content, strong language, and among other things. If this story isn't your cup of tea, then please refrain from this story. Can't say I didn't warn you prior to reading this. I hope you guys enjoy the series and once again, welcome to the 'Deku Syndrome.' OOC Izuku x OOC Harem!
It was a warm Saturday night when Katsuki Bakugo decided to throw a party at his parents' private beach condo. Everybody was invited, including Deku. Not because he was childhood friends with the emerald child, but to announce to the partygoers that he was in a relationship with Ochako Uraraka. Katsuki knew of their former relationship. In fact, one can say he was responsible for breaking them up. It didn't take much, just some easy persuasion for the brunette to say goodbye to the defenseless Izuku and to be with him instead.
It wasn't long since Ochako broke up with Izuku and became Katsuki's girlfriend.
And what a joy it has been to the "happy-go-lucky" Katsuki.
Meanwhile, Izuku was sitting alone in the kitchen, holding the empty plastic cup as he didn't want to go back to the party. Honestly, it was Shouto, Tenya, and Eijiro who suggested to him to come to the party to cheer him up. Although it was unbeknownst to the trio that Katsuki purposefully set it up, making it an awkward situation was going to make it sweeter.
One thing was for certain. He couldn't stand Izuku, thus coining him his nickname.
Izuku tilted his head on the cabinet. The party was in progress. The sounds of joyous teens indicated that they were having a nice time. He can hear Minoru making failed attempts at Tsuyu before opting for her guest. Eijiro was trying to maintain his composure by promising himself that he was going to drink just one more beer. Denki was already toasted for he had pregamed at a karaoke bar after spending the evening with some girls from a university in a nearby prefecture.
What stood out the most was Ochako. She was the life of the party. The beautiful godly made work of art that was a teen danced the night away as she held onto Katsuki. It was their hour and the eyes were on them.
Every other second, Katsuki's eyes cornered at the lone Deku. He hid his smirk. He wasn't finished. He wanted this sting to thoroughly burn.
Or for this instance, something thoroughly cool.
"Oi! Deku!" Izuku looked to see the smiling Katsuki leaning on the kitchen counter. He had a plastic cup in his hand and a lipstick smear on his cheek. He had a smug grin as he approached him. "Sorry, bro, but you are in the way of the keg."
Izuku excused himself as Katsuki reached for the spray to pour some more beer. "Having a great time tonight, Deku?"
The name, the sting, putting emphasis to rub salt onto his aching wound. That was far from enough, thought Katsuki. Here was another. "I can tell you this, Ochako can really dance." He topped his beer. He put his finger on the lipstick. "And knows how to kiss."
Izuku had his head down, still holding the cup in the sense of a security blanket. He didn't really have much of a response. The emerald cinnamon roll just heavily sighed and rubbed the sole of his shoe.
"Quiet tonight?" Katsuki took his hand to put on Izuku's forehead. "Are you all right," he said with insincerity. "It seems like you are not feeling well. Case of the broken heart?"
Izuku bit his tongue. Before the party, he promised his mother that he wasn't going to get into another scuffle. 'Letting your enemy know that they got to you shines on them. The only way to get back at an enemy is to do nothing. Let the enemy shine for that is what he wants. And before you know it, you have the upper hand.' Izuku found the advice quite atypical but took it along with a kiss on the cheek and a pack of condoms in his back pocket.' Don't need little Izuku's swarming around the house. One is already good enough. Have fun, sweetie.'
Izuku did exactly what his mother told him. "Actually, Kacchan, I am well. Just a bit shy of this party. I mean all of 1-A and 1-B is here and I am not used to being around others yet."
"Around others? Or around Ochako?"
Katsuki struck a nerve. He felt it under Izuku's breath. "Hey, relax. It's a party. Have a good time." He patted Izuku on his back. He peered closer to him, drawing his breath into his ear. In his partially drunken stupor, he spoke to him. Face it, Deku, you have lost. The sickening look on your face pleases me. I've finally got you defeated, got your girl, everything. Having you here looking like a sick puppy excites me.
Izuku balled his fist. His eyes were staring onto Katsuki's arrogant eyes. Katsuki eyed his balling fist. Katsuki spoke low. "What's the matter, De-ku? What are you going to do? Hit me? Is that what you want, huh?"
Izuku didn't know what he wanted, but he wanted Katsuki to leave him alone.
"C'mon, take a swing. Right here. I want others to see. Maybe Ochako…."
"Katsuki, babe."
The giggly, giddy Ochako appeared into the kitchen. The sound of her speech implied she was drunk. Her pupils were star-shaped, focusing on her man.
Izuku was her man once, but Katsuki had the ploy to take it away.
"Mei says we are out of the hard liquor," she said to him while kissing his neck. Katsuki didn't focus on her but seeing the disdain look on Izuku's face. "Do we have any more liquor?"
"Yeah, babe, we do," answered Katsuki playfully. He looked at Izuku. "In the cellar, Mom keeps the strong liquor. Go and fetch it for me, boy!"
He knew Izuku wasn't going to resist, especially his former love was in front of him. Izuku unraveled his fist and submitted. He grabbed the keys from Katsuki.
"Thanks, Deku, you are the best," said Katsuki insincerely as he kissed Ochako on the lips. "Don't take too long. Don't need her or the others think we can't rely on you again." Izuku sighed in defeat, just looking forward as he heard the smacking and cackle sounds of kisses and laughter.
It was like a closet, only much larger. The walls were covered with shelves, and, wherever they looked, the friends could always see it.
Wine. Distilled Spirits. The strong liquor.
The shelves were covered in wine bottles, arranged neatly, their colorful tops giving the impression that they were shooting at him if he looked long enough. The floor was covered in barrels, most likely filled with wine, as was obvious by the little taps on the sides.
Izuku didn't even think that Katsuki's family even had the expenses of affording a summer cabin. Then yet again, his father did work in the fashion industry.
He couldn't tell what kind of wine or liquor the partygoers wanted and he was sure wasn't going back to Katsuki for it. Damn, Kacchan. Making me do things I can't stand. Taking away my girl and making me feel stupid. One day, I won't be your punching bag. We will break even one day, Kacchan. Please believe, we will be even. He got enough liquor that he thought would suffice. Fifteen-and-sixteen-year-old unaccompanied minors wouldn't know the difference for as long something strong touched their taste buds.
He found a crate and stock enough liquor to put inside. He was going to do this task and then go home afterward. Be as it were before or during Katsuki's confession. He thought he could handle this and he couldn't. He just accepted that Katsuki had won. He just wanted to go into his room and cry himself to sleep.
"Need some help with that?"
A voice caught his attention. He scanned the basement. It was dimly lit, but he noticed a figure approaching in front of him. It was a middle-aged woman with ash-blonde hair and red eyes. In her hand, she was holding a glass of liquor and sporting a cigarette. She blew it into the air when she made her distance closer with Izuku.
Startled, Izuku discovered it to be Mitsuki Bakugo, Katsuki's mother. He tried backing away, but she cheerfully swayed him to stop.
"Relax, Izuku, I know you guys are drinking up there. I already made precautions by taking away keys and placing you guys in respective rooms so you guys won't get hurt," said Mrs. Bakugo as she took another smoke.
Scratching his head, Izuku calmly replied. "Odd thing to do for a group of teens."
"Don't judge, Deku." She winked. "It seems to me that you are running an errand for my poor bastard of a son." She looked at the crate he was holding. She fixed her lips. "So, having a crummy time tonight?"
"What gave it away," asked Izuku with curiosity.
She passed him and reached inside of the crate. She furrowed her eyebrows when seeing him taking some of the good alcohol. She was putting it back and exchanging it with other liquor. "Seeing the empty red cup, tear-stained face, and looking like you've lost your best friend. It seems to me that you are not having a good time."
He slapped the palm of his head. "God, am I that predictable?"
"It isn't that, Izuku. Kacchan just knows how to play with one's strings," she said calmly. "Especially with you, my dear." She was filling the crate with liquor with lower alcoholic content. "He just has the upper hand on playing with you. In other words, he can easily read you, silly." She balled her fist and lightly tapped his head. "There! This crate should be enough for those drunken monkeys."
"Thanks, Mrs. Bakugo," said Izuku.
"You're welcome," answered Mrs. Bakugo calmly. She stared at the crate for a few moments. She put her finger to her lip before returning her sight on him. "Listen, I think the kids will be okay with their beer for a few extra minutes." Her footsteps led away from the confused Izuku as she opened the door to a room.
"Would you mind stepping inside for a few moments," asked Mrs. Bakugo. "I got some liquor I want you to try."
"I thought this was the liquor cabinet."
She clicked her tongue. "This? Oh, that is the kid's stuff. I have the adult stuff. More of the mature stuff in the study."
"What about the party?"
Placing her hands on her hips, she retorted, "And who do you think is in charge of this party?" She let out the very smile that made him despise her son. "Come inside. I think you will like what you see."
Letting your enemy know that they got to you shines on them. The only way to get back at an enemy is to do nothing. Let the enemy shine for that is what he wants. And before you know it, you have the upper hand.
The words of his mother filled his mind as a surge of peace went through him. He saw the plastic red cup, the crate, and Katsuki's mother entering the study.
"So, are you coming or what?"
He stood firm, nodding approvingly to Katsuki's mother's request. "On my way, Mrs. Bakugo. Here I come!"
This concludes a random party moment with Izuku….Until next time, world!
To be continued….
