Chapter 9

The couple stopped in their tracks when they heard the voice. They slowly turned around to find an unknown man standing in front of them. He had blonde hair, was wearing dark sunglasses and had blue jeans, a red t-shirt and sneakers. The brightest smile was on his face as he was staring hard at Goku and not even noticing his partner's presence. This mysterious person seemed to recognize him, but the Saiyan on the other hand had no idea who he was. That voice sounded familiar, but he wasn't sure if they ever met before prior to this.

"Yes, I am but… who are you?" He asked, his face showing confusion. "And how do you know who I am?"

The man took one step towards him, his smile never faltering. "I know it's been a while since we last saw each other, but don't you remember me?"

In that moment, Goku finally realized who this man was. He was the same man who was announcing everything that went on in the tournament arena. He could easily have been mistaken for someone else as he wasn't wearing his usual attire, but he had on more casual clothing. "Hold on a sec… you're… YOU'RE THE MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCER!" The Saiyan cried out in excitement.

Suno had her hands by her ears, rattled by her boyfriend's loud voice. "Jeez, keep it down will you?" She quickly recovered from the assault to her eardrums and acknowledged the man.

He didn't seem to hear Suno as his eyes was on the tournament announcer, stunned that he was seeing him again after all this time. And they were talking about him not too long ago.

The man nodded, pleased that he was finally recognized. "You got that right!" He held out his hand for Goku to shake.

The Saiyan took his hand without any hesitation. "Whoa! It's been a while since the last time I saw you."

"It sure was." The announcer grinned at him. It was then that he noticed the woman standing beside Goku. "Who is this pretty lady?"

He glanced over at his partner, almost forgetting that she was there. "Oh, right. She's my girlfriend Suno. Hon, this is the man who announced all our fights in the martial arts tournaments." He put one arm around her shoulders, making her blush.

"Oh, it's great that you have a g-" The announcer started to say and then his voice trailed off as something occurred to him. "wait a minute… she's your girlfriend? Aren't you married to Chichi, the daughter of the Ox King?" He didn't forget that one detail as their engagement and marriage proposal was broadcasted on TV.

Goku fought to keep his smile at the mention of his soon to be ex-wife. "Well… actually we separated about three weeks ago." He struggled with himself as he was saying this. Seeing how beatdown he still was, Suno took his hand and interlocked their fingers together. No words needed to be said. His gaze was focused on her, and she lifted her other hand to touch his cheek, letting him know that it was going to be alright. The announcer stood there and watched the couple communicate through their actions alone. While he didn't know the story, he could tell that a lot had taken place.

"I'm so sorry about that." He broke the silence, expressing his sympathy. "What about your sons? Are they doing okay?"

"I haven't seen them since the separation." Goku's pained face slowly crept back into a hopeful smile. "Well actually, I did meet up with my oldest son and the rest of my friends to discuss the situation."

"That's nice. So, I assume they're living with their mother?"

"Yeah, they are. But our divorce process will start soon and I'll be fighting hard to get sole custody of my youngest son Goten. My oldest will move in with me as soon as the court case is over."

The announcer smiled at that, and decided to encourage him. "I'm sure you will win this. Be confident in yourself just like you were in the tournaments."

"Thanks a lot." He turned to his girlfriend who had been silent the whole time. "Suno, I think you saw this guy once on TV, right?"

Suno blinked in confusion. "I don't know what you're- wait a second," Her face lit up in recognition and she snapped her fingers. "I think I saw him that one time I watched the twenty-second tournament on TV!"

"Yes, that's him." Goku pointed a finger at the announcer. "If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have been declared as the champion against Piccolo."

Suno walked up to the man and extended her hand. "Goku and I were talking about you not too long ago and I would like to thank you for everything you've done for him and his friends."

He accepted the handshake. "You don't have to thank me. I was just doing my job as the tournament announcer. And besides, it was Goku who saved the whole world."

"But still, you played a huge role in all of this," She continued as she let go of his hand. "You supported him and his friends during the tournament and didn't think differently about them because of their powers. Not many people would have done that."

After hearing this, the announcer glanced over at the Saiyan. "They increased the level of the fights in the tournament. Until I met them, the matches were boring and uninteresting."

"Wait… really!? The fights were THAT boring?" She questioned.

"It really was. All those people were good fighters but they weren't nearly as good as Goku over here." He explained with a smile, looking back on all the spectacular moments. "The fights were intense with him around and I got so distracted with the events happening that I often never started the countdown when I was supposed to. His fighting skills were that incredible!"

Suno smiled proudly at her boyfriend. "Aw hon, it sounds like you were pretty great!"

"Hehe, I guess."

"Anyways…" She started to say, tapping her chin in thought. "Do you know when the next tournament will be?"

"Hmmm…" The announcer adjusted his sunglasses as he found himself thinking deeply about it, having not put this into thought until now. "It's been a while since the last tournament so I don't really know. But I'm sure that it'll happen soon."

"Oh okay."

"Yeah, I'm thinking of bringing Suno to the tournament so she can watch it here instead of watching it at home." Goku spoke as his arm left her shoulder to wrap around her waist, bringing her closer to him. He then kissed her cheek and tousled her hair.

The announcer let out a smile at the display of affection he showed his girlfriend. 'He must really love her. I'm glad he found someone who he truly loves with all his heart."

"I'm sure we can find out when the next tournament is going to be." Suno said happily, her hair blowing through the light wind. "Maybe it'll be on TV or even in the newspapers."

"True." The Saiyan agreed.

"I'm sure you'll see something about it on TV when the time comes," The announcer reassured them. "It could even be on the billboards. Try keeping a lookout for any signboards related to the next tournament."

Suno clapped her hands together, exhilarated at the thought of watching a martial arts match. "We'll be sure to pay close attention!"

The announcer's smile grew brighter when he saw how affectionate the couple was. Seeing the way Goku held his girlfriend close to him, it was a big difference to when he saw him with Chichi at the twenty-third tournament. "Suno makes you really happy, doesn't she?"

"She really does. We met years ago back when we were still children." He explored through those shining and pretty eyes of hers. She smiled back at him before he whipped his head back to the announcer. "But then we reunited again not so long ago."

"Really?"

"Yep." Goku stepped aside in the nick of time for another couple to pass through with their baby girl in a stroller. "I left the home I lived in with my family. I came to a park in West City with my stuff in hand and I sat down on a bench. As I sat there, a lady approached me and it turned out to be Suno." They exchanged glances with loving smiles.

Not bothering to hide the growing blush on her face she went on to say, "Yep. It's just as he says."

"It's a really nice story." The announcer was pleased to learn that they found love with each other. "You know, when you proposed to Chichi years ago, something told me that you guys just weren't compatible." He moved in closer to the Saiyan as he went on to whisper in his ear, "And she seemed a little bit crazy, expecting you to hold onto your promise to marry her."

"Believe me, you have no idea what our marriage was like." Was all Goku could say. He didn't really want to relieve the horrible moment from when him and his wife argued the night before their separation. Nor did he want to talk about the way she treated him and the boys during their marriage. It was supposed to be a joyful day and there was no way he would ruin the mood by bringing up something which caused him so much pain and anguish. He fought hard to keep the smile on his face.

Suno locked eyes with her partner, knowing that this was still hard on him. He silently thanked her and she decided to keep the conversation going. "After Goku told me about his situation, I invited him to my home in Jingle Village."

"Yeah, she did. And I've been staying there since then. We hadn't expected this bond to form between us quickly but I'm glad it did." Their relationship was one of the things which kept him smiling every single day along with the hope that he would be with his kids again.

"Congratulations to the both of you!"

"Hehe thanks." Goku smiled as she nuzzled up against him. He bent down and planted a kiss on her nose in return, while she laid her head on his shoulder and enjoyed his warmth. "I just feel happy being by her side every single day."

As their conversation ended, they heard rushing water and they turned their heads around to find that they were standing close to a now functioning water fountain. The trees were swaying back and forth as it was becoming a little windy. A few glimmering stars were starting to appear in the sky and the weather was becoming cooler than it was during the day. The multi-colored lights made the island even more beautiful during this calm night.

"Where are you guys heading?" The announcer asked, noticing how late it was getting. He didn't want to hold them up from whatever it was they were planning to do.

"We were planning to go to Delicious Saikan for dinner." Suno replied as she raised her head. Her eyes scanned the number of buildings ahead of them and out in the distance, she could see the signboard of the small restaurant lighting up brightly in the darkness.

He nodded in understanding. "Alright. I should get going too. I'm ordering takeout from another eating place and then I'll head back to my hotel for the night. The room service there is awesome. Take care, you guys!" The announcer held out his hand once more for the couple to shake it. Goku reached out and shook his hand hard.

Goku wore his trademark grin. "I hope you enjoy your takeout this evening!"

"Don't worry, I will." The man winced a little bit from the strong grip, as it sure did feel rough on him. He then outstretched his hand for Suno, smiling graciously at her. "I must thank you for being an awesome girlfriend to Goku. I can imagine how tough things must have been for him, and for you to come along and make those worries fade away is like a dream come true. And I'm certain that if you ever meet his kids, they're going to love you. Keep taking care of him and when you meet the boys, make sure to take good care of them too."

Her eyes became watery with tears of joy, but she blinked them back as she clasped the announcer's hand. "Thank you… Thank you so much. I'm aiming to have a good relationship with the boys once I finally meet them."

"If you were able to make Goku happy, then I'm sure you can make them happy too," The announcer said, releasing her hand. "I don't doubt that one bit."

Hearing another person say this really put her mind at ease. She really was hoping for the boys to trust her, confide in her and eventually to form a friendship with them. She wanted to support them, just like her boyfriend did. "I appreciate that. I'll make sure to always look after them. They deserve it."

"Don't mention it."

"So, I guess we'll both be seeing you at the next tournament!" Goku said, grinning at him.

"Of course, I'll still be the world tournament announcer." The man took a few steps back as he was preparing to leave for his destination. "Anyway, I've got to get going!" He started waving at them. "I hope you two enjoy dining at Delicious Saikan!"

"We will!" Goku hollered as the announcer started walking away from them.

They waved back at him as he was making his way over to his destination. The couple kept their eyes on him as he headed for the opposite direction, towards the restaurant he was ordering his dinner from. The Saiyan stood side by side with his girlfriend as the announcer's footsteps slowly faded away. His figure disappeared as they saw him entering a nice-looking sandwich shop. Upon peering closer, they could see a large chalkboard with their different food options scribbled on it. Right beside the entrance to the restaurant.

Goku turned back to his girlfriend. "Well hon, I guess that's our queue to leave." The Saiyan held out his hand for her, watching as she took it with no hesitation. "I'm starving right now, and I'm sure you are too!"

Suno poked his stomach once again, giggling as she did so. "Of course, you're always hungry. Come on, let's get going." He groaned in mock pain from what his partner just did. But then a smug smirk appeared and he fought to hide it, a devious plan coming to mind.

"Hey, that's not fair!"

"It's kinda funny seeing you like that!"

Just as quickly as she let out those words, she felt something poke her tummy. She looked down to see that her boyfriend had used his finger to poke her back. He started to laugh hysterically, having gotten his revenge for her actions against him.

"What'd you do that for?"

He smirked as she touched the spot where he poked her. "That's called payback!"

"You're a jerk!"

"Gotcha. Now come on, let's go get some food."

They started heading towards Delicious Saikan. The trip there had been mostly silent except for calm music reaching their ears. The smell of delectable food from nearby diners was enough to make Goku feel as if he were dying from starvation and he was dead set on diving right into his dinner as soon as they ordered, but then he remembered the promise he made to his girlfriend about eating more properly. He needed to try. And maybe with his new eating habits, he could impress everyone else too. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a group of people singing. There weren't any musical instruments, but their voices felt nice and soothing to listen to. When it was over, the crowd screamed and clapped loudly before putting some money inside a jar.

"Wasn't that nice?" Suno asks, putting her hands together.

"It sure was. That song was sung quite well."

The couple continued their way as soon as the crowd of people dispersed. "So… what did you think of the announcer?" Goku asked.

"He's a pretty nice guy like you said! It's great that you're on good terms with him!"

"Yeah. And… everything he said was true." Goku lowered his voice so only she could hear him. "The boys will love you."

"I know that now." Her gaze was focused on the shining stars. "I would love to look after them." She had every intension of keeping that promise she made to the announcer.

"You and me together."

She looked back at him, puzzled. "Huh?"

"We'll work as a team and look after Gohan and Goten." He clarified, squeezing her hand as a sign that everything would be alright.

"That's going to be great."

"It really is."

In a swift motion, Suno wrapped her arms around Goku and placed her lips on his in a brief kiss. His strong hands worked their way up to her cheeks and cupped them as he kissed her back. Warmth began to rise in her chest as she felt him strengthening the kiss. It lasted for a few more seconds before they parted ways. Goku's thumbs slowly grazed the sides of her cheeks as his girlfriend's dazzling eyes shone through a brightly lit streetlight. The Saiyan smiles at her, having just enjoyed the suddenness of it. He opens his mouth to say something but he turns his head and notices that they're right behind the 'Delicious Saikan' restaurant. They were standing on the pathway leading straight to the entrance. There weren't as many vehicles parked in the lot as compared to when they were here in the early afternoon.

They stared ahead in relief as the glass door still had the 'OPEN SIGN' hanging on it. Through the glass door, they could still see some people seated at the tables eating and chatting amongst themselves. "Are you ready to go inside?" He asked, while his stomach rumbled loudly. He chuckled and looked around them nervously to be sure that nobody heard it. "I'm starving pretty badly!"

"Yeah, Let's go inside. I'm getting hungrier every minute." Suno slowly placed a hand on her tummy. "My stomach feels pretty empty."

They walked up the entrance and Goku pushed the curtain back and he pulled the door open. "You can go inside first." She smiles at him and enters the building. He follows her and carefully closes the door so as to not damage the fragile glass. As soon as they're inside the restaurant, Goku's mouth drops open as the place looks very different from the last time he had been here.

Unlike before, there was now a small bar which now served a variety of alcoholic drinks. Behind the bar was a shelf full of the different drinks. The female barista was wiping the wine glasses with a clean napkin. A couple of wooden stools sat behind the bar. Thanks to the air conditioning, the whole restaurant was feeling nice and cozy. There was a door labelled 'kitchen' with many waiters and waitresses bustling in and out carrying dirty dishes or piping hot food. The small eatery had a stylish and elegant décor. There were portraits hanging on the walls nicely and there were cushioned tables and chairs. The tables were covered with red and white tablecloths. A box of tissues sat on each table along with some wine glasses, silverware and a jar of salt and pepper. A flatscreen television was mounted to the wall and was playing a news segment. One giant chandelier lit up the entire room.

"Woah… it's so beautiful…" Suno uttered out in awe as she observed the unfamiliar surroundings. "I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant as nice as this one."

"The place wasn't this decorated the last time I was here," Goku commented. "This is quite the improvement." He stared on awestruck at a fish shaped ice sculpture sitting in a corner.

Her eyes were glued onto a medium sized fish tank as she muttered out, "I just can't believe it…" Aquatic plants were kept inside the tank, along with goldfish swimming back and forth freely around the glass.

Goku peered over at the empty tables and chairs. "Anyway, we should find ourselves a seat before it's too late." He took her hand and they started looking for comfortable seating.

"How about we sit over there?" She pointed to a two seated table near a window. "We can enjoy the view over there."

The Saiyan grinned where he saw where she was pointing. "You're right. Let's go!"

As they were walking over to their table, the calming sound of violin music reached their ears. They briefly turned their heads to find someone playing a violin as they reached their table. Goku pulled open a chair for his girlfriend and once she sat down, he pushed it back in. He walked over to his chair and just plopped down on it, causing the silverware to clink slightly. A bunch of candles mounted to the wall helped the couple feel warm. Freshly picked red and pink roses near them let off a pleasant scent.

"Shouldn't we call a server?" Suno asked, looking around for someone who could take their order.

"Yeah, let me go find a waiter."

Before Goku could get up from his seat, a male waiter had already seen them sit down close to the window and started to approach them. He wore a white buttoned-on shirt, a black bowtie, and black pants. He held two menu books in his hand. "Good evening, you two. Would you like to look at our menu?"

"Yes, we will." Goku said, sitting back in his seat.

The waiter placed the menus in front of them and made sure to stand nearby. The menus had the 'Delicious Saikan' name imprinted on it. They slowly opened it and began to look through the different food options. 'These all look so good. I can tell they've expanded on their menu a little bit since the last time I was here.' He thought to himself as his eyes were glued to the list of foods. 'Some of them are a bit too expensive but-"

"Goku?"

He looked up from the menu. "What's up babe?"

"Remember what I said before. Order whatever you want. I'll be paying for everything." Suno patted the pocket which contained her wallet. "So don't be hesitant."

"Actually…" He put his menu down on the table, dug into his pocket and pulled out the stack of ten thousand zeni he found earlier. "I've got it covered."

"HUH!?"

The menu fell from her hands in shock as her pupils bulged wide from seeing all that cash on their table. She gripped the table a little tightly from her shock. "W-Wait… h-hold on a sec. Am I seeing things? H-How much money is that?"

"Ten thousand." He said plainly, pushing it towards her. "I counted all of it this morning."

Suno felt as if she was going to faint from her shock. "B-But… how did you get all that zeni? I-I thought you didn't have any money." Her hand shakily reached out for the menu which had fallen to the floor.

"I found it in my room before we left." Goku explained, chuckling a little bit. "When I was searching in my bag for clean clothes after my shower, that's when I found it."

"Okay but…" She composed herself as she put the menu back on the table. "How did it end up there?"

Goku could do nothing but shrug, not having the slightest idea. "I don't really know. I must have unknowingly packed it inside my bag the day I fled from Mount Paozu- Wait a minute…" He stopped right there as he started to recall where exactly this money came from. "A while back, Chichi told me that she was storing money somewhere in the house for emergencies but she never told me where she hid it. This must be the emergency money she was talking about. She must have forgotten to take it along with her when she was moving out with the boys that day. And when I was in our bedroom packing my stuff to leave my home, I think I put it inside my bag without noticing, which must have been how I came across it after I was done showering."

"Woah… that's incredible. I guess all of that is yours now." Suno still couldn't believe it as her eyes were still glued on the giant stack of zeni bills. "But I wish you'd told me before we left."

"I wanted it to be a surprise, that's why I didn't say anything. I figured that it could wait until we got here." He explained.

"I understand, but are you sure you don't want me to pay for our meals?" Suno asked hesitantly as she opened her wallet, knowing now that her partner had a limited amount of funds.

His hand was now laying on the big stack of cash. "No Suno. I saved this money for something special, and this is a very special moment between us."

"Are you absolutely sure?"

"I am." He answered with certainty, locking eyes with her. "Hon, please let me pay for our dinner."

It didn't seem at first like she was convinced of that, but if this was what her partner wanted to do, then she would place her trust in him and let him handle things. "Okay, if you insist. But…" Her tone became a little serious. "it isn't a whole lot of money so maybe we shouldn't buy too much food. You should probably save that for an emergency."

"That's what I was thinking too. When we were standing behind the bakery earlier, I thought about buying you a pastry to make you happy, but then I saw the prices and held myself back. I decided then to just use some of the money to buy us dinner and maybe some ice cream." Goku said to her with a smile, the happiness of his girlfriend flashing through his mind. "You were just as joyful and excited as Goten was whenever we used to come to Papaya Island that it was hard to not have that thought floating in my mind."

Suno felt her heart warming, and she quickly blinked back her tears. "That was very sweet of you. As much as I would have loved something from that bakery, I think it's better to save that." She found herself enjoying the warmth of his hand.

He released her hand, preparing to look through the menu again. "I agree. But I'll be buying us ice cream right after dinner. No 'buts' about that."

"Alright Son Goku, I'll eat some ice cream. Okay?" A tint of pink appeared on her face as she laughed.

"Okay. Now we should be looking through the menu. I don't want to keep our server waiting." He opened the menu book and looked through the appetizers, side dishes, desserts and main courses.

"Hmmm…" Her eyes scanned through the menu for less expensive foods. "They've got hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries with grilled chicken, miso soup, sushi rolls and beef ramen. What do you think we should get?"

"How about we get cheeseburgers with french fries, sushi rolls, some fried rice and grilled chicken- Oh!" His eyes lit up like a giddy schoolboy. "What if we buy chili and shrimp ramen?" He pointed to the ramen section on the menu.

Suno glanced over to where her boyfriend was pointing. "Sure, we can get that as well. It's not expensive so it's fine."

"Great!" Goku closed the menu book and signalled to their waiter that they were ready to order.

The server hurried over to them with a notepad and pen in his hand. "Are you two ready to order?"

"Yeah, we are." Suno said, closing her menu and putting it aside.

He flipped open his notepad. "What would you two like to order this fine evening?"

"We'll have fried rice with grilled chicken, sushi rolls, cheeseburgers with french fries..." She paused for a minute as she watched their waiter write everything down. "And we'll have the chili and shrimp ramen."

"Sounds good. Any drinks?"

"Oh crap, we forgot to order drinks!" Goku flipped open the menu again and searched for the 'drink section'. "Hon, what do you want to drink?"

"Hmmm…" Suno peered over the menu. "I'm not so sure- Wait, I think I'll have pineapple juice."

"Alright," The waiter said, writing it down. He turned to the Saiyan. "And is there anything you want, sir?"

"I'll have a diet soda."

The waiter took their menus away. "Your orders are coming right up! If there's anything else you two need, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be nearby as the chefs prepare your food."

"Will do. Thanks a lot." Suno smiled at him.

They watched as he hurried into the kitchen to submit their orders. Once gone, silence between the two had ensued once again. As they were enjoying the warmth provided by the candles, they stared out the window as it had such a stunning view. Thanks to the bright streetlights, the couple could see so many buildings ahead of them and even a highway. The distant sound of vehicles passing by reached their ears as they remained silent.

Suno rested her chin on her hand dreamily as her eyes were out the window. "Isn't the view amazing from here?"

Goku leaned his back against the chair in a carefree way, his arms behind his head. "It certainly is. Papaya Island really is beautiful."

"I didn't think I'd be here again after so many years. Between work and taking care of the villagers, I'd just never found the time to come back here. This place is part of my childhood."

"Well, we're here now. And we've enjoyed ourselves so far. It's so awesome here!" His hand knocked over one of the wine glasses but thankfully, he picked it back up on time before it could fall on the floor and break into pieces.

"You're right. I had a fun time." Her gaze left the window and it was back on her boyfriend. "You seemed really happy when you talked with Goten on the phone last night."

A smile came on his face when he recalled his conversation with his youngest. "I did. Hearing his voice again after so long… my gosh… I was just browsing mindlessly when I thought I was receiving a call from Gohan. I pick up my phone and then boom! Goten is the one I'm talking to. It never crossed my mind that I would be talking to him either."

"You said they were at Mr. Satan's house, right?"

"Yeah, him and Gohan were having dinner there. Why do you ask?"

"Goten probably couldn't wait until he got back home before contacting you." Suno still couldn't help but imagine what it would be like meeting that cute little boy. She wouldn't be able to resist carrying him into her arms.

"That must have been the case. And I never thought that I would end up in a position where I can't rely on my physical strength or abilities to win the battle. I never knew that there were other ways to win a fight." Goku commented. He had been through so many life and death fights, but this… this was so different. But at least his friends would be there with him through it all.

"Exactly. This is a battle you can't win using your fists, you need to come up with different strategies to outsmart the enemy."

"Yeah," Goku said with a smile. "I must rely on my words and my head to beat Chichi on that day. But I know I'll do well when that time comes. My friends and my two sons believe in me. And lastly… you and your family believe in me." His smile widened as he took her hand, raised it and pressed his lips against it. "Thank you babe."

"It's alright. I'm always here for you." She said, enjoying the feel of him kissing her hand.

They started to talk again for a while, had enjoyed the nice violin music playing in the restaurant as they talked together. They even watched some TV and talked about what was going on. It seemed like a long while since they ordered their food, but they didn't mind as they were enjoying themselves.

Suno shot up from her chair, almost knocking it over. "I've got to use the bathroom really quick!"

"Sure, hon."

"Uhhh…" She turned her head around in all directions, but there was no sign of the restroom. "Where is it?"

"It's over there." Goku pointed to two sets of doors. One was labelled 'male' while the other door was labelled 'female'. Suno nodded quickly and hurried off to use the restroom. He heard her shut the door and he leaned back in his chair. While his girlfriend was in the bathroom, he spent the time just watching servers bringing customers their checks. The smell of food was becoming stronger and every now and then, he started to wonder if their dinner was ever going to arrive. He was still enjoying the view here, so he figured that he could be patient a little while longer.

As he sat alone at the table, he remembered something he needed to do. 'I forgot to text Bulma and ask her if I can bring Suno and Eighter to the party!' His hand dug into his pockets for his phone and once he had it, he was quick to switch it on. He tapped on the messaging app he normally uses and waited as everything popped open on the screen. Next, he scrolled through his different contacts. He even had Vegeta's contact number saved on his phone even though he rarely ever texted him.

He finally found Bulma's chat screen and tapped on it. He clicked on the message bar, taking a deep breath as he did so. His fingers pressed the keyboard as he typed his message. His thumb clicked the send button on the phone's touch screen.

Goku:

Hey Bulma, how are you this evening?

The Saiyan crossed his fingers as he waited for his childhood friend to respond.

Bulma:

Oh, hey Goku! I'm doing great, and I'm in my lab as always. I just had dinner with my parents, Trunks and Vegeta not too long ago, so I'm just working on some of my old experiments to pass the time. It's been a while since we last talked through text. What are you up to?

He sat frozen at the question, slowly bringing his fingers back to the keyboard.

Goku:

I'm just having dinner at Papaya Island.

Bulma:

Really? Are you with anyone?

He thought about what he should tell her. If he told her that he was with a friend, then she would start asking him questions. And there was no way he would be spilling the beans about dating someone so soon.

Goku:

No, I came here by myself.

Bulma:

Oh, okay. Sounds awesome. You deserve it after everything that happened.

Goku:

I just wanted to unwind and remember all the times we came here for the world martial arts tournaments.

Bulma:

That's great. Where are you having dinner?

Goku:

Do you remember Delicious Saikan?

Bulma:

Yeah, I remember that place! We went there after the 21st tournament, didn't we?

Goku:

Yep. We all came here after my match against Jackie Chun.

Bulma:

I hope you're having a fun time there. Their food was pretty good back then.

Goku:

It really was. I'm just sitting at my table waiting for the food to arrive. It's been a while since I ordered my food and I'm super hungry!

Bulma:

I'm sure it'll come soon, just be patient. Your huge appetite will be taken care of soon enough.

Now he needed to get straight to the point.

Goku:

Hehe, yep. Hey Bulma, I was wondering, can I bring a couple of friends to the party at Capsule Corp?

Bulma:

Of course, you can! It's not a problem at all. Who are they?

Deciding not to go into any specific details right now, he just typed one simple answer.

Goku:

They're just two friends that I met again after a long time. So… is it okay if I bring them along?

Bulma:

Yes, you can! I don't mind. They'll be welcome at the party.

He heard the toilet to the ladies' room flushing, and he could sense his girlfriend in there washing her hands. The Saiyan then opted to end the conversation quickly before she got back to the table. He came up with a lie right on the spot.

Goku:

Thanks. I can see the food coming up, so we'll meet again at the party. Take care!

Bulma:

Are you planning to have dessert? Knowing you, you'll still have plenty of room for dessert! (Two laughing emojis were added at the end of that message)

Goku:

Yep, you know me so well.

Bulma:

Wait… do you have the money to pay for that?

Goku:

Yeah, I do. I found some money in my bag this morning. When I was searching for clean clothes after taking a nice shower, I just found the money in there. So, it's mine now.

Bulma:

Wow… that's unreal!

Goku:

Yeah, tell me about it.

Bulma:

Okay, I'll let you go now so you can enjoy the rest of your day.

Goku:

Thanks Bulma. I'll see you at the party!

Bulma:

Take care of yourself.

The Saiyan managed to end the conversation just as his girlfriend was approaching the table. "Our food still hasn't come yet?" Suno asked, raising an eyebrow as she plopped back down on her cushioned seat.

Goku sighed as he leaned his back against the chair. "No, it still hasn't. And I'm getting hungry…" His voice was feeling a little weak due to the lack of food.

"Me too." Suno added, looking around for any signs of the waiter. "If it's not here in a few minutes, we can go inside and find out what taking them so-"

They were startled by the kitchen door slamming open. Their waiter had finally stepped out, juggling two large plates of food. One of the plates had double-decker cheeseburgers and large, crispy fries. The cheeseburgers were loaded with lettuce, nicely cut tomatoes and onions, pickles, two beef patties and melted cheese. It was slightly coated with grease, and the sight of finally seeing their food almost made them drool in salivation. The other plate contained their sushi rolls and fried rice with grilled chicken. A waitress also stepped out with a tray containing two large bowls of chili and shrimp-flavoured ramen. Her other hand balanced another tray containing a bottle of diet soda and a carton of pineapple juice.

"At long last!" Goku sat up as the two servers brought their food over.

"Finally! Our dinner is here!"

The servers started to carefully place their food and drinks on the table. "Here are your orders. We humbly apologize for the long wait." The male waiter spoke as he helped his co-worker put their food down.

"Is there anything else you might need?" asked the female waitress.

The couple looked at all the huge amounts of food on the table and shook their heads. "No, thank you. We're good." Suno answered politely.

"Enjoy your meals." The male waiter said.

The two servers then left them to enjoy their meals in peace and to attend to other customers. Once they were gone, Goku instantly felt his mouth watering at the sight of all the appetizing meals which would go in his mouth a few seconds from now. "Wow… all of that looks so delicious!" Suno commented, reaching out for the silverware on their table. She made sure to hand a pair to her boyfriend.

"Thanks." Goku took the fork and knife from her hands and placed it beside his food. He wanted to stuff his mouth full of food, but he remembered the promise he made to his partner about eating more properly. 'I've got to control my urges.'

"So, what do you want to start with?"

He turned to his girlfriend, who took a sip of her pineapple juice. "Hmm... probably the fried rice." She answered, taking a fork and digging it into her food.

"I'll start with this then." With both hands, Goku carefully grabbed a cheeseburger from the plate. He felt a little nervous, as this was the first time he wasn't eating the way he normally did. He slowly bit into the burger, giving him time to really experience it's taste. He appeared to be stunned, as never before had he tasted anything as incredible as this. He ate many burgers before, but nothing like this. It was so meaty, juicy, nicely seasoned and he loved how the cheese was melting all over it.

He couldn't help but stuff the whole thing in his mouth so hungrily. "Hon, this is so delicious."

"So is this fried rice."

He took a spoon and he slowly scooped up some rice. "Woah… this is awesome! Try these burgers!" The Saiyan pushed the plate of cheeseburgers towards his girlfriend while proceeding to eat as properly as he could. Every now and then, he wiped his mouth with a napkin and never spoke with his mouth open like he used to do in the past. He opened the cover of his icy diet soda and took a few sips.

"You're right. It is delicious! And these sushi rolls are great too!"

They continued to eat in silence. Suno wasn't used to this. She started to wonder why it was so silent when she turned her head around and was almost shocked by what she saw. Her boyfriend wasn't eating the way he normally would, but he was eating more like a… like a human. She noticed how silently he was chewing. She watched him grab a napkin from the tissue box and wipe the food crumbs from his mouth before slowly taking a pair of chopsticks and devouring his ramen. A huge smile crossed her lips as she watched him eat.

"I'm so proud of you for trying. You know that, right?"

Goku slowly chewed his ramen before looking back at her and grinning. "Thanks, hon. And I'm sure everyone else will be impressed with my new eating habits. I have you to thank for this. You made me see things from a different perspective!"

She held her fork between two fingers before replying, "But you're the one who's making the effort."

Goku just smiled before glancing over at her carton of pineapple juice. "Hey, you don't mind if I have a taste of your pineapple juice? You can try some of my diet soda if you want."

"Of course not." Suno passed the carton over to him and took his bottle of soda. She grabbed a wine glass on the table and poured some soda inside. She then held the glass up in the air. "Cheers?"

He chuckled and raised his glass of pineapple juice high up in the air. "Cheers!"

Their glasses touched and they both took a sip from it. They then resumed eating their meal. The rest of the evening went by perfectly. Both were raving about the good food here in Delicious Saikan. They loved the seasoned grilled chicken and everything else they had ordered. It had taken a long while before the couple finally finished their meal. Goku pushed back an empty bowl and plate while leaning back in his chair with his trademark grin. Suno needed a few moments to regain herself as she hadn't felt this full in a long while.

"That dinner was amazing!" Suno spoke, giving him an adoring smile. "I don't think I ever had good food like this during the times I was here on the island. Thanks for bringing me here."

"It's not a problem, hon."

Goku sat up in his chair, reached into his pocket and pulled out the ten thousand zeni. "It's getting late so I should pay for our meals and then we can get some ice cream. How does that sound?"

"Sounds great."

The Saiyan signalled their waiter that they were ready to pay. He came over to them and started stacking up their dirty dishes. "I will be back with the bill." Before they could give an answer, the server started walking away to the kitchen with the used plates in one hand. A few seconds later, he arrived back with a piece of paper and he took away the rest of the plates on their table. Goku took the receipt and saw that everything they ordered was on it along with their prices.

"Hmmm… let's see the total… what's the total?" He pondered as he looked through the receipt.

Suno peered over her boyfriend's shoulder. Her eyes bulged wide when she saw the total sum of money they had to pay. "TWO THOUSAND ZENIS!?" She shrieked and snatched the paper away from him. "That's how much everything is!?" Her hand started to waver and she quickly put the bill back on the table. "G-Goku, maybe you should let me pay for some of the-"

He held a hand in front of her. "Hon, it's alright. I already told you that I can handle our bill. And remember, this moment was special. I don't mind paying the two thousand zeni." He pulled out a stack of money and began to count it. Once he was sure that he had the right amount, he pocketed the rest of the money and just as he did so, the waiter was seen escorting the next to last group of customers out the door. When he saw the couple waving in his direction, he wasted no time in running towards them.

Goku placed the two thousand zeni on top of the receipt and handed it to the waiter. "Here you go."

The server counted the money and smiled at them. "I hope you two enjoyed your meals."

Suno smiled back. "We certainly did."

After he counted the money, he bowed down to them. "I hope you both come back again."

"We definitely will." Goku said as their server stood up again. "The food was delicious!" His gaze was then focused on his significant other. "You ready to go now babe?"

"I am."

The two stood up from their chairs and walked towards the exit door. As they were walking out, they took their time to enjoy the amazing scenery. Goku still couldn't believe just how much the place had changed since the last time he was here. It was completely empty, making them realize that they were the last ones leaving. They waved to a few servers who were wiping the empty tables and stacking up the chairs. As soon as they reached the exit, the Saiyan opened the door and allowed his girlfriend to step out first.

Suno stretched her arms and legs while allowing herself to enjoy the fresh air. Goku walked out and shut the door behind him. He looked around and noticed there were no cars, motorcycles or other vehicles out in the parking lot. A waiter flipped the open sign around and it now read, 'CLOSED' They both could still hear the faint sound of the restaurant staff cleaning the place up after one long shift.

He now stood beside his girlfriend as they looked out at the quiet and almost empty streets. "What do you think about Delicious Saikan?"

She beamed at him as the restaurant's lights shone brightly in the darkness. "It might be the best eatery I've ever been to! The wait time was a little too long but it was worth it in the end!"

"It was so long that I thought I was going to pass out from hunger." He exclaimed with a smile. "But you're right, it really was worth it. Much better than the last time I was here."

They stood there for a moment in silence until they saw that some of the stores were closing up. "We should go buy our ice cream before everything closes." She nodded her head in response as he took her hand and they walked into the brightly lit streetlights. There was hardly anyone out on the streets as they walked by. They did however, see a man walking his dog on a leash and a young woman jogging on the sidewalk. Nothing else. It was like a ghost town with nobody around.

All of the ice cream stores were closed and it left the couple wondering if they should just skip dessert and head back home. "Goku? Should we go back home? It's kinda late, and I don't think any other store would be open at this time." Before he could answer, they saw the same ice cream truck they saw earlier in the day still parked at the same spot close to the sidewalk. "There's that truck!" He yelled out excitedly, tugging on his girlfriend's arm and walking towards the large vehicle.

When they walked up to the truck, they saw the ice cream man inside, but it seemed as if he was packing up to drive home for the day. The man looked up when he heard the couple approaching his vehicle. "Excuse me sir, we just wanted to know if you were still open?" Goku asked hopefully as he peered inside the truck. If he wasn't taking any more customers, then they could just go back to Jingle Village as every store was already closed at this point. It didn't matter if they skipped the ice cream, as there were more opportunities to have dessert the next time they came to the island.

"I'm about to leave, but you know what? I think I can take two more customers."

They smiled back in relief as the man prepared to take their order.

"What would you two like to have?" He pulled out a small menu for them to look.

"Hmmm…" Goku peered over the menu. "What do you want, hon?"

"Let's see…"

They spent a few seconds looking at the small menu and trying to decide what exactly what to get. While most of the ice creams on there looked good for dessert, they wanted to keep track of the prices, so they decided to order the least expensive item on the menu. Goku handed the menu back to the ice cream man. "We'll both have the chocolate chip ice cream."

The man took the menu from Goku's hands. "Good choice. Coming right up!"

He took out two large ice cream cones and scooped up some chocolate chip flavoured ice cream for them. They watched as he poured some sprinkles over them, along with caramel sauce, whipped cream, bits and pieces of fruit, almonds and some cherries. He held their orders in front of them. "That'll be 50 zenis."

Goku snatched a 50 zeni bill from his pocket and placed it on the counter. "Here you go, sir." He said as he took the ice cream cones, handing one over to his girlfriend.

"Thank you very much. Have a nice evening you two!"

They gave the man a friendly wave and moved away from the ice cream truck. They walked through the almost empty streets of Papaya Island. As they predicted, many of the stores were closed and almost everyone living on the island were now in their homes. They just continued walking, having no specific place in mind, but just wanting to walk around in the cold evening while eating their ice cream.

They eventually reached a grassland of some sorts with a small lake. The trees were swaying slightly, but it didn't bother them one bit. There was no bench around so they opted to sit down under a tree while eating their ice cream. "This ice cream is really good!" Suno says as she's biting into her chocolate chip ice cream.

"I agree. And I like the toppings too." When she turned to face him, she noticed how her boyfriend also wasn't eating his ice cream the way he would devour his food. She just smiled and continued eating hers. Both spent time laughing and talking while enjoying the cool air and their desserts. They finished their ice creams in record time and laid down together in the grass for a while. As their eyes caught a glimpse of the full moon, they knew it was time to go.

"Let's get going. It's late!" Goku said to her.

"Right!"

Goku hopped up from the grass and held out his hands for Suno. She took them and got back up on her feet. She used one hand to wipe the dust off her clothes while the other held her empty ice cream cone. Both tossed their cones in a nearby trash can and walked up to the lake, where they saw their reflections thanks to the glistening moonlight. They looked up at the moon once more. As much as they would have enjoyed staying here, they knew that their folks in Jingle Village would start wondering where they were.

"You ready to go, babe?"

She nodded with a smile. "Yep!"

"Alright, hold onto me!"

Goku lifted her into his arms while she wrapped her arms around his neck. Suno took one final look around the grassland as her boyfriend was slowly levitating off the ground. She looked around at all the bright lights on the island, all becoming a blur to her the higher he levitated. The Saiyan slowly took off into the air, not wanting to move too fast and make his girlfriend uncomfortable. Unlike last time, she didn't show any fear but she was very much excited.

"Woo-hoo!" She cried out, opening her arms wide in glee and feeling the air pass through her clothes. "This is great!"

He smiled at her as he flew past a couple of towns and cities. "Glad you love it babe. Now tell me, how did you like our trip today?"

"It was amazing. Walking through the island, eating at Delicious Saikan, sitting at the arena and buying ice cream… that was awesome!" She snuggled deeper into his chest to get more comfortable. His chin rested on top of her head as he held her closer.

"I'm glad."

As he was flying back to Jingle Village, Goku spent the time thinking about the next day. What was there for him to do tomorrow? Should he go on another date with Suno? Or should he message his friends and find out if there was anything new on the current situation? Are there any old friends or acquaintances he could visit? 'Old friends…' At the thought of that, he started to rack his brain for who he could visit tomorrow. 'There are so many people I haven't seen or heard from since I was a kid. It would be nice if I paid one of them a visit. But who?' His eyes lit up in excitement as two people came to mind.

"Hey hon, there was something that I was thinking about."

Suno looks up at him, noticing that how excited he was. "What's on your mind?"

"Well… there's this place that I was thinking of visiting again."

She quirked an eyebrow at him. "And what place is that?"

"It's the sacred land of Korin, where Korin's tower is located. I have friends living there that I haven't seen in years. Since I was a kid in fact," He explained with a smile.

"Really? That's awesome! What are their names?"

"Bora and his son Upa. I met them while I was fighting the Red Ribbon Army, after I left Jingle Village."

"Woah… really!?"

"Yeah, when I met them a mercenary of the Red Ribbon Army suddenly appeared and killed Bora. I started gathering the dragon balls so I could revive him." He explained to her while still flying.

Suno blinked her eyes. "I can't believe what I'm hearing. That happened for real?"

He felt the old memories coming back to him. "Yep. And I fought hard against that guy. His name was Mercenary Tao, and he almost killed me. Then I had to climb Korin's Tower where I met Korin himself. And he gave me the sacred water that increased my power. Because of that, I was finally able to beat him."

"That's incredible!"

"After defeating Mercenary Tao, I got all seven dragon balls, summoned Shenron and Bora was revived at the end." He said proudly. "But I haven't seen or heard from them after that. That's what I'm thinking about doing tomorrow. Visiting them and just catching up."

"That's great." No amount of words could describe how happy she was for her significant other. "I'm sure they'll be excited to see you after many years."

"I really do want to see them again." His smile became wider as an idea popped in his head. "So… would you like to join me tomorrow?"

'Ehhhhh? He wants me to join him?' Her inner thoughts screamed. 'I thought he was going by himself.' It took her a little while to respond, having been struck by his offer. "Y-You really want me to come with you? I don't want to get in the way. You just go ahead and have fun. I'll be fine staying at home."

"Come on," He pleaded, stopping his flight mid-way. "It'll be a lot of fun. The Sacred Land of Korin is a nice place and I promise you, both Bora and Upa are friendly people. You'll get along with them just fine."

Suno thought about it for a while. There would be no harm in escorting her boyfriend to see some old friends of his. This would be another chance to get out of the cold weather as she didn't fancy staying at home alone. "Alright," She relented. "I'll accompany you to the Sacred Land of Korin."

He put on a relieved face. "Great! I really appreciate it! I don't want you to be home alone by yourself, you know? Meeting new people is gonna be awesome!"

"Anything for you sweetheart," She now had a bright smile. "I'm sure it'll be great knowing them."

"I guess we can leave tomorrow afternoon if that's okay with you?"

"Sure, no problem."

"Great!"

"And we also need to tell Eighter about the party."

"Oh yeah! Well, we can invite him after we come back from visiting Bora and Upa, is that okay with you?"

"That sounds awesome!"

He started to laugh. "For me too, hehe."

"I know it is, you cute Saiyan!" She teased, deciding to poke a little fun at him and squishing his cheeks together.

"Come on..." He started to feel embarrassed as she let go of his cheeks. "I'm not 'cute'"

She started to laugh. "Yes, you are!"

He turned his gaze away from her with a blush. "Well... if you say so. But you're the cuter one."

"Not as cute as you are!"

"I never thought of myself as 'cute'. Nobody told me that before."

"Well, you heard it from me!"

"Yeah. I think you were the first person to have ever told me that!"

She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Yep."

His face turned beet red. "Oh... umm, thanks hon."

"No prob."

He continued the flight back home, and after a little while they arrived in Jingle Village. The Saiyan opted to land right in front of the house to save them the trouble of walking through the snow to get back to the house. More and more snowmen had been built near the residence, causing them both to smile at their surroundings in silence. Then they took notice that the house lights had been turned off, which usually meant that everyone had gone off to sleep.

Suno walked up to the door and knocked on it. But much to her surprise, nobody answered. So, she tried knocking again and waited a few more seconds. Still no response. There was no sign of anyone coming up to open the door for them.

"Mom? Dad? Eighter?" She called out to her family, but her words fell on deaf ears.

"It seems like nobody is home." He commented. Closing his eyes, he tried to sense their ki but felt nothing from inside.

"Or maybe they're asleep." She guessed.

He opened his eyes. "I can't sense their energy inside the house so I assume they went out to do something."

"That's probably it."

"Do you have the spare key by any chance?" He asked, hoping that the answer was yes. If she didn't have it then it meant that they had to wait around here until her family returned or possibly ask one of the residents if they could stay with them for the night, which he would rather not do as he didn't want to disturb anyone's peace and quiet.

"I sure do." She said, reaching into her pockets and taking out a small ring of keys.

Goku sighed in relief. "At least we don't need to wait around until they get back."

"Thank goodness for that."

She inserted the key inside the lock and turned it. They heard a 'click' sound so Suno turned the doorknob and the door opened instantly. Both stepped inside and she closed the door. The entire house was dark as all the lights had been switched off. Suno fumbled around for the light switch and when she finally felt it, she flipped it on, brightening the entire living room.

"Mom and Dad usually leave me a note when they're going to be out for long hours just like mother did before." She explains, looking around the house for a small sheet of paper. "Where could they have put it?" Her pupils brightened when she saw a sheet taped to the refrigerator door. "There it is!" She hurried over to the fridge and her boyfriend followed right behind her.

"What does the note say?" Goku questioned, looking over his girlfriend's shoulder.

Suno held it in view for him as she read it out loud.

Hey honey,

By the time you see this, you and Goku would already be back home. We hope that the both of you had an incredibly sweet time together. As usual, we're out buying groceries and household items. We're shopping in more than one store and the checkout lines tend to be insanely long sometimes so we might not be back until it gets dark. We know you have the spare key with you, so remember to lock the door when you get inside and if by any chance you two want to watch some TV together, be sure to keep the volume low. Oh, and if Goku is hungry, make sure to prepare a quick and scrumptious meal for him. Take care and be sure to keep him company!

Love Mom and Dad.

She finished reading the handwritten note and by the end of it, she was at a loss for words. There was something really… off by the way this note was written. It was almost as if her parents were onto something. But what would they be onto? Or maybe it was just her imagination. Her eyes slowly glanced over at her boyfriend, whose face was completely red from reading the whole thing. She had a feeling he was thinking the exact same thing. Incredibly sweet time? Preparing a quick meal? Keeping him company? None of those were a problem, but it was the way it was said which baffled them.

"So, ummmm…" Suno stumbled over her words as she slowly placed the note on the dining table. "Do you wanna watch a little TV with me or do you just want to go to sleep? I don't mind which option you pick." Preparing a meal for him was out of the question as they both already ate dinner on the island, but she was happy to keep him company for as long as he needed it.

Goku stretched his arms and legs, followed up with a long yawn. "I think we should go ahead and get some sleep. I'm feeling kinda sleepy."

"I think so too- hold on a sec, I gotta go lock the door!" She walked to the front door, inserting the key inside it's lock and turning it to the left. Another 'click' sound was heard and she turned the knob to be sure that it was securely locked. When that was done, she returned to her boyfriend. "Alright, so we can change out of our clothes and go to bed."

"Sounds good."

"Hey… do you mind if I spend the night with you again?"

"I was just about to ask you the same thing." He said, scratching the back of his head. "I'm not going to lie… I slept well with you. I don't think I slept that peacefully in a long time."

"Well, I won't lie either, I slept much better with you than I did on my own." She said with a blush on her cheeks. "I'm going to change into my pajamas and come to your room. That sound alright?"

"Sure, no problem."

As they were preparing to leave, something had occurred to Suno. Since her boyfriend moved into the village, she never once offered to wash his clothes for him. "Is there any laundry you need done?"

"Yes, actually. I'm almost out of clothes, and I was starting to worry that I won't have any clean clothing left."

"Well… I can do your laundry for you tomorrow morning if you want." Suno offered. "You said we're leaving for the Sacred Land of Korin in the afternoon, right? So, I can use the morning time to wash your clothes in the laundry room after we're done eating breakfast."

That didn't sit well with the Saiyan. He certainly didn't want to be leaving his girlfriend to do all the work on her own. He wanted to contribute in some way, as it was his laundry they were going to do. "We can do it together if you prefer." He finally said.

"That won't be necessary. You're a guest here, so l can do all your laundry for you," She insisted.

Goku knew it was true, but he still wasn't backing down. "Yeah, but I do want to help. And also, I want to learn something new at the same time. I've never used a washing machine before." While he was still living with his wife, she was the one who did all his laundry. But his house never had that mechanism, so she had to wash his clothes by hand. Now that they weren't together anymore, he wanted to step up and take responsibility.

She saw the sheer determination in his eyes. Right then and there, she knew that he wasn't going to take no for an answer. But she was proud of him for wanting to help her out. "Alright, you can help. I'll teach you everything there is to know."

"Sounds great!" He said cheerfully. "I'll go lay on my bed now. I'm really exhausted from today. Hehe." A small chuckle escaped from his lips.

"Aren't you going to take a shower first?"

He looked at her with worry as he started to sniff his shirt. "I don't stink, do I?"

She shook her head rapidly and waved her hands in his face. "No, No, I was just curious. You have nothing to worry about."

"Oh well, I can take a shower in the morning before breakfast and before doing the laundry together."

"Sounds great." Her body was starting to feel tired and she found herself stretching her arms and legs just like her boyfriend had done. "I'll change into my pajamas and come to your room."

"Alright, I'll see you soon."

"One more thing before you go."

Goku raised a brow. "And what would that be?"

Suno smiled softly as she stood on her toes. Knowing what she was asking for, he held her face with both hands and then leaned down and crashed his lips onto hers, bodies pressed against each other. Her arms were flung around his neck as their lips were locked together in the midst of their heated passion. After a few seconds, Goku parted away from the soft lips of his significant other, their hands clasped together in the aftermath.

"I'll see you in my room?" He whispered.

She nodded her head. "Yeah. I'll be there."

He slowly loosened his grip on her hand with an exhausted smile, before he finally pulled it away. They kissed on the lips one last time before temporarily parting ways, so they could prepare for a brand-new day tomorrow.
