Yes, it's been a long while since I've last updated. Honestly wasn't sure if I could continue with how busy I've been in rl to the point ive jad no time at all to update but needed to see if the story still being followed.

That all ends when a light shines on his face, causing his eyes to open wide before showing annoyance at finding the butler standing at the curtains he was opening before turning to look at Naruto.
"It is morning, master." He turns fully. "I suggest you—" He was cut off by an empty ramen cup being tossed at his head which bounces off with a small liquid hitting his jacket, causing him to put on a blank expression while Naruto flips over, covering his head with his blankets.
"Go away."
"Master, it's a bright day out and I suggest—" He was cut off by the boy suddenly speaking loudly.
"HOOTY," This caused the man's single eye to widen. "THE BUTLER GUY WANTS TO PLAY!" In an instant, the window shot open with Hooty wrapping around the butler.
"THEN LET'S PLAY FRIEND!" Hooty begins lifting the butler that was glaring at Naruto who was smirking while turning away with blankets still over him. "I HAVE TONS OF GAMES TO TRY OUT!" As this was shouted, he was abruptly pulled out through the window that shut behind him yet as that happened, Naruto displayed a bothered expression.
(Naruto to Luz sometime ago—Nope, just bits, and stuff I recall from my amnesia. I've been with Eda for about four years when she found me, so far it's like I can only remember some stuff I can do but nothing of who I am...)
(We do not know, one day there was a bright flash, and the next you were gone, causing panic throughout the Empire with a search being launched for years. I find it strange you have amnesia but retain some memories of your abilities.)
(You are of royalty, the child of the Ninth Demon Lord and heir. We must return to the Demon Empire's Capital, Konohagakure within one year.)
As he recalled his words, he didn't understand at all why he was taken from his home and why his memories were erased yet one thing he knew or more so felt, and that was the man was lying. His thoughts were silenced when he heard a knocking and with it, he sat up on his bed.
"Yes, Luz?" With that, the door opens to show Luz in her pajamas entering the room and looking around in worry before seeing Naruto motion toward the window. "Hooty is distracting the guy." It was hearing that she sighs in relief and sat down on the edge of his bed.
"It's only been a day and he's acting so familiar..." Luz sighs. "Kinda creepy reminds me of a shady guy back home." This got a raised eyebrow from Naruto yet instead of speaking he instead leans back to lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling.
"So, your real demon royalty, huh?" In response, Naruto just pulls the blankets over his head, not bothering to answer with Luz looking down and telling him he doesn't want to talk about it. "Sorry, I didn't think you would—" She stops talking to Naruto lifting the blankets again and getting out of bed.
"It's fine, just…a lot to take in. The butler guy wants to take me back to the empire and seems to be giving me only a year here…" Luz blinks in surprise but understood yet she looks at him worriedly.
"How are you," That seemed to have surprised him as he looks at her questionably. "yesterday, does Eda know—" She immediately saw that look of discomfort, his gaze breaking as he curls up in a ball.
"Don't tell Eda that I haven't let it go. As far as she knows, I got over what happened that day when I badly hurt—" He stops, once again appearing to be very bothered by the memory which Luz could see, the look reminding her of unsettling things.
"Don't worry, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to…we all have something we don't want to talk about." As she spoke, Naruto looked at her and saw the sadness in her eyes before she changes that by smiling weakly at him.
"Anyways, let's get some breakfast." She stands up from his bed while turning to him, gaining a smile as he too stood up with the two heading towards the kitchen.

Below that sign stood Eda, Naruto, King, and Luz, all four doing their own thing as they wait for customers with Luz reading a book to King, Eda dusting, and Naruto looking lost in thought yet not going unnoticed by Eda who could see that he was bothered.
"Emboldened by the dishonor Hecate had shown, Azura lifted her staff to the cotton-candy skies and shouted—" Luz was cut off as the book was abruptly taken from her hands, causing her to turn in shock after shouting a "hey!" towards the Butler who was staring at the cover, having arrived with food for Naruto.
"Another human hobby it seems..." He places the food down on the table which King immediately takes a piece of while the man simply flips through the pages. "Just seeing these pages and artwork, it feels as if it's making fun of—" He stops on a specific page and stares at it, this confused the others who stared at him before he abruptly shuts it.
"The grammar on that page was especially atrocious." He extends it back to Luz. "But you being human, it makes sense you would like—" At the moment Luz takes it back with an offended expression, Naruto meanwhile looking at the man in annoyance.
"Enough of that!" Naruto turns toward the butler who merely looks at him. "I don't care if my so-called 'family' sent you, just leave. If you're serving me then listen to my order!" He simply sighs.
"As you already know, that is an order I cannot abide by for your father's orders come first and I must take you home." He places it back on while Naruto just stares at him in annoyance with Liz appearing to be worried.
"I may not like it but I can agree with the butler." King suddenly stood up on the table, confusing Luz and gaining the other's attention. "I can draw better than that. You know, they once called me the King of Artists." This got a raised eyebrow from Naruto.
"Wait. I thought you were the King of Demons." Luz shows a smile towards the surprised pet while the Butler's eye simply narrows. "Are you just making this up now?" Immediately, he thought fast and answers quickly.
"Doesn't matter. What's important is that my followers would leave me offerings in fear of me!" His words got a tilt of the head from the butler who watched Luz offering her book to King, annoying Eda finally.
"Please stop reading that. The Butler may be a headache but he's not wrong about the flowery language in that book is insulting to witches and driving away all of our serious customers!" Said butler just had a look like he rather is somewhere else while Luz pointed out something in what she said.
"Um, Eda? What customers? There aren't even any other stands around. What's going on?" Her question caused Eda to look around suspiciously.
"This is a bad omen. There must be something horrible happening today." She crosses her arms and puts on a serious expression while the Butler just looks across from them at a wall for an event today but said nothing until he noticed two individuals, teens approaching the group which the butler looks over with hardly any interest.
"Luz!" The girl called to the witch in training. "Something amazing is happening today!" She stops in front of them with her and the younger one looking at Naruto in surprise, his expression gaining his surprised look in response, which Luz smiles and places a hand on Naruto's shoulder.
"Guys, this is Naruto." She introduced, surprising the two before turning back to them. "Naruto, this is Willow and Gus, the friends I told you about." His eyes widen but he puts on a complicated expression.
"Uhh-hello…." The look he showed was somewhat of embarrassment the girl smiled.
"Hi!" Willow smiles brightly and turns to Luz. "It's the annual convention! Student witches get to see all the types of covens before they're placed in one. There's even a mystery guest this year!" When the butler heard that, he was slightly confused yet didn't bother to voice anything.
"A job fair for witches! Eda, can we go?" She looks at her caretaker/teacher hopefully yet she shakes her head.
"Not." With an audible groan, she continued. "I never joined a coven for a reason. Sure it's like a fun club for witches, but you're also giving up your magical independence to be part of a crooked system." At that point she realized they were all staring at her, gaining a loud cough at the awkward silence.
"Eh, but, you know, no judgment. In any case, I haven't been to one since we were girls." That single word got a response from Luz, questioning what she meant by 'we' only to get an immediate stumble of words.
"Who's "we"? You have a mysterious past! Now we gotta go!" When he heard that, Naruto just smiles and didn't just spill the beans on Eda's sister.
"No."
"Okay. Then you leave me no choice." She turns to Naruto.
"Naruto, order your Butler to teleport us to the convention!" When she said that, Naruto and said 'butler' just stared at her, trying to digest what she just asked, and after three seconds they answered simultaneously.
"No." She looked disappointed yet surprised at how they spoke at the same time just before adding "I can't do and I have no idea where it is."
"Darn." With a snap of her fingers, she raises the book. "Guess it's plan B!" She hands it to King and with a nod, he starts to read.
"You shall not shan't doeth no more harm," Azura called out..." As he read, Naruto's face hit the table, Eda looked traumatized, and the Butler regretted ever coming to the Boiling Isles.
"Hecate could only screech, screech as did she, for the screeching did worsen." Eda places her suitcase in thin air which opens into a door, surprising the Butler yet again at what he was seeing as he watched her walking into it and before it closed, Luz tossed King in there. Immediately it opens with the two exiting.
"Stop it! Stop it! I will do anything, just stop this!" Luz just smiles at her victory with Naruto doing the same as the door closes with the man taking note of it.
In no time flat, they were in front of the building. Eda wearing a cloak to hide her identity next to Naruto, Luz, King, the Butler, Willow, and Gus. The group found themselves staring at Eda who was trying her hardest to stuff her hair in a hoodie yet failing miserably.
"Gotta keep a low profile." She grunts more as Naruto and King help push her hair in, getting it all in her hoodie and tightening it. "I disobeyed the law and refused to join a coven. If I'm seen, I could go to jail. Again." Her words caused Butler to raise an eyebrow and glance at Naruto whose appearance suddenly changed with a puff of smoke. His whisker marks missing, his eyes were brown but still had the slitted pupils while his hair was bright pink.
"Impressive." As he spoke, Naruto's eyes widen, and glanced at the butler's compliment yet he immediately turns away in annoyance.
"Whatever." As he spoke, Luz was staring at the hoodie that looked like it was going to explode.
"Is this cowl really necessary? Can't you just transform like Naruto?"
"Nope, what he does isn't something I can just do. Kitsune are very rare, mostly known in the Demon Empire as an ability they were born with. Besides, do you think all my wanted posters are for petty theft? Partly." Her words gained interest from Willow.
"Maybe this informative event will inspire you to join a coven." Her words got the opposite effect and immediately used her magic to pull her hood over her head.
"Let's just get this over with." She ushers the teens and King with her while the Butler simply follows behind, glancing around in interest while the human, Luz appeared to look amazed at what she saw.
"Whoa. Was I even alive before now?" She looked even more amazed at what she saw with Naruto smiling at his friend's reaction while the Butler found it to be amusing at seeing a human reaction to it.
"Those are the main nine covens," Gus stepped forward. "but there are hundreds of other ones you can join." They start to walk forwards as willow introduced the covens.
"There's Flower Coven, Artist Coven, Big Dog Coven, Small Cat Coven, Tiniest Cat Coven." While Eda looked annoyed with a groan, Naruto and the Butler appeared to be more dumbfounded at the names.
"Also the Grumpy Coven." Immediately, Eda raises a fist in a manner that made her look like a grump old lady.
"What was that?" Her demand immediately got "yip" from Willow as they all ran from Eda who was now even more annoyed while Butler just stares at Naruto with the others.
Uh, excuse me, ma'am," Their attention turns towards a shopper. "but you look rather familiar." Immediately her eyes widen yet before she did anything the man spoke.
"She's a part of the Grumpy Coven." When he said that, the man-made and understanding look 'awww' before he walked away, gaining a glare from Eda towards the Butler who just smirks while walking after the teens.
"I could have handled that." She muttered to herself and hurried after the group that was still looking around and stop in front of a demonstration.
"Ooh, what's that?" Luz was smiling at what she was seeing of a coven member and the very conspiracy prisoner they had seen at the Conformatorium.
"That's the Construction Coven. One of the main nine. They use power glyphs to increase their strength." With just a single toss of lumber and bricks, an entire house was formed, this amazed then expect for Naruto, Eda, and the Butler who could tell another was involved in making that house.
The group watches him hand a piece of paper over to the once prisoner, placing it atop her nose and immediately all of their eyes widen as she starts to scream, powering up with visible magic with the Butler having the only expression as if asking 'what am I watching?!' before she picks up the coven member and throws him up high.
"I'm the destroyer of worlds!"
"Hey, that's the opposite of construction!"
They all watch her reek havoc as other members of the coven try to restrain her once she gets a hold of a hammer.
"Esto no se ve bien." Luz mutters to herself as they watch her get tackled just as another spoke behind her. "Esto no se ve bien."
This immediately got Luz to turn and see a copy of herself walking towards a mirror next to two individuals that appeared to be casting it.
"Whaaaaa?" This got Gus to respond as he stands in front of them.
"Ah! You've been taken in by the allure of the Illusionist Coven. We like to magic with a hint of—" He disperses and appears a few feet away. "showmanship." With that said, two others appeared next to him like a magic show, amazing the girl.
"Wow! Acceptance? Comradery? A sense of belonging? Covens sound incredible!" She turns to Eda and Naruto. "Why haven't you guys joined one?" This got a shrug from Naruto.
"Like me, Naruto knows the truth. When you join a coven, all your other magic is sealed away. From now on, members of that coven can only make illusions." Her words made the butler appear to be in thought. "Since I never joined a coven, I can do every kind of magic. That's why I'm the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles." She displays elemental magic to the girl before it disappears as they followed after her besides the Butler and King. King gets stopped by a member of a coven trying to get him to join while the Butler started to walk around the covens, staring at the tattoos being placed on people.
"What has happened to this place, not only that…hmm." He once again appeared to be in thought as he continued walking.
The group was staring at a large panel leading into another room while Gus just gasps.
"It's the Emperor's Coven! Do you think they'll sign my forehead?" He asked Naruto excitedly yet he wasn't sure how to answer while standing near the members of the coven that were dressed like guards.
"Let's find out!" With that said, Gus and Willow run straight into the next room past the guards which Luz starts running to but stops and turns to see they didn't follow.
"Aren't you guys coming?" Her question got Naruto to look up at Eda who sighed
"Naruto, you can go in and watch Luz but I'll stay here, of all the covens, they're the worst." Luz frowns while Naruto walks next to her.
"I get it, Eda. Covens: Bad. Individualism: Good. But I'm still figuring this world out," She smiles happily. "so I'm going to go in there and make up my mind, okay?" With that said, the two enter with Naruto looking back at Eda who seemed focused on something else. In a matter of minutes, they had found a seat in what appeared to be a stadium.
As the audience made cheering, appearing in the center was the Principal of Hexside himself next to a floating microphone.
"Hello, Bonesborough! Students ask me all the time, "Principal Bump, what's the height of magical achievement?" His question to the students for a reply from a random one sitting two rows down.
"Is it this?" With a single spell, his head grew three sizes before crushing the person next to him, causing both Naruto and Luz to go wide-eyed.
"Wow. I failed you as a principal." Naruto couldn't help but smirk while the Principal grabs the microphone to continue. "It's being selected to join the best of the best. And there are none better than the jewel of the coven system and the enforcers of His will, the Emperor's Coven." And right on que, three of its members appeared much to Luz's amazement who saw her friends waving and pointing at Gus's forehead signature.
"Feast your eyes on this elite force, each member handpicked to help usher in a new age of controlled magic." As they gave demonstrations much to the audiences enjoyment, Naruto didn't appear to be impressed at all, unlike Luz who was amazed at the display.
"Members of the Emperor's Coven have access to all- yes, all forms of magic~~" Naruto starts to block out the talking as he leans back, not caring much for the show after the magic he's seen Eda show
"And now, I'm pleased to introduce the esteemed leader of this coven and this year's mystery guest. You know her, you love her! Lilith!" At this point, Naruto's eyes shot wide as he sat up just as magic birds formed in the air, flying down and forming a lady around Eda's age displaying her own magic much to the enjoyment of the audience. It was at this point she noticed Naruto's expression.
"You know her?" That question gained a nod.
"She's Eda's sister." This new information amazed the girl who didn't even know that till now.
"Thank you, all. It wasn't easy for me to rise to the top. I also started from humble beginnings." As she spoke, she didn't realize that someone already knew the entire story.
"Now I have the highest honor of enforcing the Emperor's will. So be more! The Emperor's Coven awaits you!" At this point, the two felt a hand on their shoulders and turn to see Eda and in no time flat, they were taken out of that room by the annoyed witch.
"Eda! Why did you take us out of there?" Her question got an immediate answer from the frowning lady.
"Let's head home, I need to wash the con funk off my skin." She pinched her left arm to make a point.
"Is this about your sister?" At that point, her eyes widen, and glared at the whistling Naruto.
"You knew?"
"Not much of a point to lie to her."
With that, she was pinching the bridge of her nose while Luz lifts the paper.
"But we haven't even taken the quiz to determine our coven type!" Instantly, a newfound hole found its way into her magazine, courtesy of Eda who was walking away.
"Ooh, a punky option." Without watching where she was going, she found herself bumping into another girl who was reading a pamphlet before Naruto could stop her.
"Watch where your—Oh, it's you." She shows clear detest which caused a look of annoyance to form on Naruto's face.
"Willow's... abomination thing." Slowly, Luz hides behind Naruto while giving a wave.
"Uh... Hey, Amity."
The name further annoyed the blonde who knew what she's done. "So, funny story. Not an abomination. Sorry for the confusion last week. I-I'm Luz. The human. Hi!" Still hiding behind Naruto, she extended a hand to the girl.
"Ugh. Put that away." She slaps her hand away but with not a lot of force. "You're the one that got me in trouble with Principal Bump and I never get in trouble." At this point, the disguised pink-haired teen spoke.
"You tried to have her dissected all because of an A." He spoke in a dumbfounded way that caused her eyes to narrow.
"Let me guess, another weirdo like her. Tell your friend she can't be here! This convention is for witches only." He merely points at Luz while stepping forward.
"She's learning magic as we speak from a great witch!" As he spoke, Luz nodded and added "and a ferocious demon."
"Is that your ferocious demon there?" The two just turn to find King being followed by two cooks, covered in gifts and samples from covens.
"Cupcakes in my tummy-tum makes the King say yummy-yum!" Naruto and Luz start to sweat at the scene and the timing no less. Both watch him blow the people off as he runs to them.
"Oh, hey, look at all those offerings—Wah!" King trips on his scarf, dropping it as it rolls over to Amity while Luz helps him up yet before she could grab the dropped cupcake, Amity steps on it.
"Oops. That was an accident." She said sarcastically and immediately Naruto grits his teeth in anger, baring his fangs as his disguise wore off to show his appearance.
"Uh, Naruto—"
"Let me guess, you are another one of her pets. You guys are giving witches in training a bad name." At this point he takes a step forward while making a fist until a hand rests on his head, stopping him completely.
"Spoken by a child who saw fit to step on food, wasting it." Slowly Naruto looks up to find the butler standing there, staring at Amity as if she were a nuisance.
"And who are you, another—" Amity lost the words to speak at his gaze, it wasn't anger due to felt but something akin to being felt like a lesser being.
"If you two have issues with the other then settle it with your so-called Witch's duel." This got the attention of everyone in earshot. "You can do at least that much, can't you?" His words caused the girl to grit her teeth and look at Luz.
"I accept."
"M-Me too." Luz stutters a little at what was happening and the man claps, startling the two at how loud it was.
"Good now set the terms between you two."
"Um, uh, if I win, you apologize to King for squashing his cupcake and for calling Naruto a pet!" Her term had King adding to include him as well at not being called a pet as well.
"And two, you admit that humans can be witches too!" She said the second part with more confidence now and Amity crosses her arms.
"Fine by me. But when I win, not only do you have to tell the whole convention you're not a witch, you have to stop training forever." She smirks while the butler raises an eyebrow at how petty she sounds.
"Uh, Luz—" He stops as the man's hand was removed and grabbed her shoulder, seeing him shake his head yet Naruto just glared at him.
"Fine. Let's shake on it." With a hand extended, Amity encircles it with a spell before she takes it. "The everlasting oath is sealed." She takes her hand away while staring at it, wondering if it was a mistake.
"That's probably fine."
"Meet back inside the theater in one hour. Let's see what kind of witch you are." With that said, she walks away from them which Luz swallows and looks up at the man.
"I-I can win this, right?" Yet in response, he just shrugs.
"Naruto spoke highly of your teacher, am I to assume she isn't a great witch after all?" This got a worried look from Liz while Naruto grits his teeth and removed his hand.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" He demanded the man who raises an eyebrow.
"It was the quickest way to settle their di—" He was cut off by the master.
"LIES! You did that on purpose, knowing Luz would lose—" At that point, he was too late as his eyes widen.
"You think I'm going to lose?" As she asked that, she looked a little hurt by his words much to his panic.
"Luz, I…(sigh) Luz your human and haven't learned any magic yet while Amity has been going to Hexside, and from what you said she's a straight-A student…" When she heard that, the human could only look away before her eyes widen and looked at the man.
"What about that magic you used when you stopped Eda?!" When they heard that, Naruto's eyes widen in realization, and turned to the man whose visible eye narrowed.
"That is a type of magic that is best understood by the user, you can discover it yourself once you've spent time in nature—" He was cut off by Naruto.
"Then teach her and I'm giving you an order! If you're supposed to be my butler then there are things you have to listen to me for, right?!" At this point, the butler ran a hand through his hair, the look on his face becoming annoyed at the fact he cannot refuse yet that ends when they saw Eda walking towards them.
"Eda, I—" She was cut off by her.
"No time, I just got you caught up in a duel with my 'sister's' student and I need to help you now before the duel!" With that said, she grabs Luz's shoulder.
"Come on, kid. Time to prepare for bloodshed." At that point, Luz started to sweat while Naruto looked worried.
"But whose blood?"
"Anyone's guess!"
Quickly she ushered Luz away with Naruto, King, and the Butler watching her.
"Cmon King." He picks up the little one. "Let's see if we can help Luz." As he said that, he was about to walk after them yet stops and turns to the man.
"Don't follow, I've already had it enough with you today!" He said with a tone dipped in anger at the man whose eye narrows as he watched the Heir walk away from him with King sticking his tongue out at him.
Slowly, a hand goes through his hair again as he grits his teeth.
(My lord, but you can't be serious?! How could you sully yourself and mate with a—)
He stops his train of thought with his expression turning more complicated as a hand moves to his chin.
"This isn't working, if I continue to act antagonistic towards those lesser beings—" He stops again and frowns at his thoughts.
"Beloved citizens," Spoke Lilith as they stood in the arena. "the Emperor's Coven proudly presents an impromptu demonstration of the sort of which we seek every year. Introducing Amity Blight." Cheers spread throughout the room from the stands as the butler watched in the far back, hardly even interested while the heir and others were in the arena as spectators to Luz and Amity's duel.
"Versus... some human girl." At this point, Luz looked quite scared at the fact she learned nothing from Eda more so having missed her chance to talk to the Butler.
"A human?"
"Humans can't do magic!"
"She's not Amity."
"Eda? What am I going to do?" She had a pleading look on her face.
"She's right, your smiling so what's the plan?" He put his two cents in.
"Relax. You see those mounds?" She points at the obvious bumps in the dirt. "Get Amity to land on one of those and she'll set off my magic traps." At that point, Naruto's eyes bugged while Luz was not liking the idea.
"That's cheating!"
"Nobody will know. To all eyes up there it'll look like you're performing magic. Just trust me." Yet, even so, Luz didn't buy it.
"But I will know in my heart! Even if I win now, I—" She was cut off by Naruto who placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't forget, this could all go wrong in such a way that won't matter." When he said that, he looked as if that didn't even help and Eda smiles.
"See, Naruto's fine with it!"
"But I'm not."
"As you humans would say, Tomato, potato." They seemed to confuse Luz before their attention was drawn toward the bell ringing/screaming.
With that, the audience begins applauding and cheering as the two witches in training walk toward the center to begin their duel.
"Abomination. Rise." Was the first spell cast by the Witch, creating her golem yet upon its creation the Butler's single eye narrowed in disappointment at seeing the size and the surprised look on the girl's face before he looks towards the smugged expression of Lilith then at the field before at Eda.
With an audible sigh and turns away and leaves the room, not wasting his time on the train wreck about to happen and was not wrong for the battle began with Luz running and evading the giant only for it to stand on a literal blazing landmine that erupted in fire, torching the thing with Naruto and Luz's eyes widening all the way.
"How did you do that?!" Amity immediately demands out of anger with Luz looking surprised and forcing a weak smile yet Naruto spoke up.
"Nonsense Magic!" That just confused the girl until she too turned wide-eyed at the fact the golem stepped on another one and sent flying with Amity who lands on her feet, unlike the golem.
"Liar, I saw her that time she didn't use her hands!"
"Starting to sound like you can't handle the fact someone is more skilled than you, what's next, have someone try to dissect her again?" At this point, Amity was glaring daggers at Naruto as her face turned red in clear anger while Luz wasn't all too happy about that just the golem gets back up again and charges at Luz who runs but it once again steps on another landline that sets off another magic that causes it to fall, angering Amity who walks towards Luz.
"How are you doing that?" At that point, she realized she was walking toward a landmine.
"No, Amity," She waves her arms. "don't step any closer!" That warning got her to stop yet now glaring at her suspiciously.
"Why, Luz? What happens if I step closer?" And on que, King falls from the stands on the spot.
"Mmm?—" Immediately spikes rose from the spot, horrifying Naruto, Luz, and Amity while King was unhurt.
"I'm okay!"
Naruto and Luz look at Eda in horror while the Witch was trying to act innocent.
"Spikes?"
"Are you trying to kill her?!"
"I knew it!" Amity points at the three. "You were cheating!" This scared her as she raises her hands.
"Amity-No—" She was cut off as Lilith spoke upon examining the spikes that started collapsing.
"Oh, Eda, Eda, Eda. I do believe this means you lose!" This only angers her.
"It wasn't my idea to cheat. And when I found out, I tried to stop it—" Yet her words didn't matter to the girl.
"Who could believe anything you say?" At this point the blonde interjected.
"Well, he did stop you from stepping on someone that could have potentially killed you." He glared at Eda who looked guilty yet Amity didn't care and starts walking away just as Naruto and Eda noticed something.
"Wait, what's that on the back of your neck?" This got her attention as she turns to him, about to give a remark on him being annoying but even so she still touched her neck as she spoke.
"Will you—" She stops after feeling something new and peels it off, revealing a power glyph, and the sight just shocked Amity.
"HA! A power glyph from the Construction Coven." At that point, gasps could be heard from the crowd that Eda celebrates in front of her sister, being quite petty.
"Ah-ha! Yes, yes, yes-yes-yes! You cheated. Perfect, prissy Lilith cheated. Hot dang, I love coventions! La, la, la!" This got Lilith to stoop to her level as she too became petty.
"I only did that because I knew you would cheat!"
Still cheated! Welcome down to my level!"
As they argued with the two moving away from the four, Amity appeared to be the most upset.
"But... I didn't know!" That expression she held was hurt and also betrayed at Lilith using her, turning to run with Amity running after her.
"Amity, wait—" It was at that moment they all froze mid-step and that was the ground started to shake with Naruto's fox ears perking up.
"MOVE!" The blonde screamed as he grabbed King and threw him at Eda who reacted by catching him just as he leaps for Luz and Amity just as the ground collapsed below their feet as the three fell into the pit much to the shock of Eda and Lilith while a panic spreads through the crowd as the room shook more.
"NARUTO! LUZ!" Quickly she runs towards the edge yet was stopped when the hole widens yet she still saw what was inside it, a massive underground cavern split by many holes below. Seeing this her eyes were wide in clear shock.
"Where did they fall?!" As she thought this, the Owl Lady grits her teeth at having lost track of Naruto and Luz along with the other girl. It was at this time the ground finally stopped shaking but the damage had already been done with the room empty and the massive hole in the center of the room.
"Eda!" That shout got her attention to find Lilith standing there with her staff drawn and pointed at Eda. "what have you done?!" Lilith shouts at her sister, causing her eyes to narrow as she points her staff at her.
"Don't even try and blame this whole thing on me, I don't have the time to waste on you!"
"Three kids just fell there, Eda you are the sole cause for this and I need to take you in, if you come quietly I will order a search—" They were stopped by the butler landing between them, grabbing their staff in an instant.
"What are you doing, do you not know who I am?" As Lilith was about to say it, she stopped as the man spoke.
"Now," As he spoke, the monocular starts to glow. "shut up, you're in the way of saving the Heir!" Both of the witches froze at what they felt with Lilith being confused about who he was referring to as he releases their staffs and walks towards the edge to peer down into the dark abyss of a massive cavern with many holes littering it that go deeper in the earth while he smelt it, fresh blood.
"That foolish…." A single hand runs through his hair as he looks at Eda.
"It will be faster with two of us, we must move now or their lives will be endangered." This got a reaction by the Owl Lady becoming serious as he watches him turn back towards the abyss before jumping down it with his hands going in his pockets.
"Hey, what are you doing?!" Her demand was met with Eda doing the same as she gets on her staff and flies down into the abyss as well.
"Ugh, uh-ow-(cough) (cough)." Slowly a pair of hazel eyes open to be greeted by darkness, the sight causing her eyes to widen in clear darkness and sat up immediately but grunts in pain.
"What happened-the floor?!" Luz goes into her pocket and pulls out her phone, turning it on to reveal a noticeable crack on the screen that caused the screen light to flicker before she turns on the flashlight that hits the other side of the room, showing there is a large room or tunnel and barely saw the edge of the wall from the reflection of the light.
"Uh, ow-huh?"
When she heard that, she points the light at the witch herself, Amity who sat up with a couple of bruises on her but no noticeable cuts. The girl shields her eyes from the light before Luz points it at the floor.
"Sorry."
Amity looks around where they were, seeing they were in an open area but darkness surrounded them with the only big being from above but barely.
"We fell when the floor collapsed…" She then turns and glares at Luz.
"This is all your fault!" That surprised Luz yet she got annoyed before she froze, her eyes widening in realization, and immediately stood up.
"Hey, wha—"
"NARUTO!" Luz shouts while moving her phone around and starts to stumble before she catches herself, looking around more which Amity sighs and with a magic circle creates her light.
"I don't get it, how is it we survived the fall?" Muttered the Witch in training as she stood up and it was then she heard her shout.
"NARUTO!" In reaction she turns fast to find Amity running over to what looked like a large fox of sorts, it was there she noticed the blood leaking from his head and parts of its body such as one of its legs moved in an unnatural direction as blood leaked from it.
"Luz…" As he mutters that in a poof of smoke the beast was revealed to be a teen who was laying on the ground, staring up weakly at Luz who saw the blood coming from his head along with his what appeared to be a broken leg.
"Naruto uh, we'll get you help!" Luz got to his side, helping him sit up while he grunts in pain. "Sorry!" Despite the pain, he gives her a weak smile.
"I've been hurt worse, I'm a quick healer so these wounds won't be lethal." As he assures her, it was at this moment, that Amity finally realized it with her eyes widening all the way.
"Did he cushion our fall suing himself?" As she thought that, slowly Luz was trying to help Naruto stand but was having trouble doing so with her keeping Naruto standing while he was hopping on one foot.
"Ok, we should—" Luz stops when she and Naruto saw a dark-purple circle form behind them.
"Abomination rise." With that order, a large monster made of a purple slime/mud substance rises from it and it extends its hands, picking up the surprised Naruto bridal style much to his embarrassment yet he tries to ignore that as he stared at Amity who was looking away. Luz stared at her before she smiles.
"Thanks, Amity." Her words got her turning away with her arms crossed.
"Don't thank me, I only did it as repayment for saving us from the fall." That got a surprise from Luz who looks at Naruto who was looking away.
"Ok, but what should we do? Stay here and find a way out?" As Luz asked that, Naruto put on a complicated expression before his ears perked at hearing something far off in the distance while Amity looks at the ceiling.
"It will be better if we stay put, that way they'll find us faster—" She was suddenly cut off by Naruto whose face appeared to be pale.
"We need to run." As he said that in the calmest way possible, both girls looked at him confused until they heard it far off in the distance from behind them, the sound causing both girls to freeze.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!" It was a deafening screeching-like roar that got both girls to turn in the distance, despite not hearing the sound of whatever it was approaching, they still heard the roar.
"It's still far but it's heading our way, and it's big!" Both girls now appeared fearful at what they heard yet also not sure where they were supposed to head but knowing they couldn't still or else whatever 'thing' they heard was will find them.
