Elizabeth is the only daughter of Mr. Bennet's brother. She has known the Darcy family since she was a child. When her parents died, she went to live with the Bennets in Longbourn. After striking a deal with him and Bingley, Lydia's summer plans changed from chasing the guys on the swim team to cleaning out a dusty old mansion. With a new friend in tow (Georgiana should get out more), the uncontrollable Lydia Bennet might grow up.

BBC miniseries (non-book) scenes: 1: When Elizabeth walked and talked with Mr. Wickham, forgiving him for pursuing Mary King because he "must have something to live on," what was Wickham thinking about? What was the audience to perceive from a certain visual in that scene? 2: Why did Lydia steal a soldier's sword?

"But what is grief, if not love persevering?" -Vision, Wandavision Following the death of his sister, Fitzwilliam Darcy slowly learns to accept the past as he overcomes the overwhelming grief which consumes him. High angst, but eventual HEA.

A Fantasy Variation: Mr.Darcy needs to find a mate for his griffin, leave Netherfield, and fulfill his responsibilities. If he finds himself attracted to a lady of inferior birth it is only because his griffin is going into heat. It has nothing to do with her fine eyes or the liveliness of her mind. He can not be distracted. Not even if his griffin really likes her.
