Chapter-32

It has been 3 days and I still haven't found a teacher who could train me. Damn it Kakashi sensei! Why did you help Sasuke first and not me?! Naruto was walking by a spa when he saw an old man perched up on the window with a camera, clicking pictures of girls.

"Hey, pervert! Come down or I'll call shinobi to get you captured."

The girls inside finally saw the creepy looking at them. They all screamed and started throwing things at him. He fell down and started running. There was a no bridge to cross the canal so he just walked on water and got to the other side. Naruto felt excited. Maybe I can get this geezer to teach some jutsu.

"Hey wait! Hey you pervert look at me! Im talking to you!"

The finally turned around

"What do you want, brat?"

"You're a ninja right?"

"You don't know me? I am the most popular ninja. I'm one of the Legendary Sannins. I am Jiraiya!"

"oho. Well I'm Uzumaki Naruto! And im gonna become the Hokage, believe it!"

Naruto…ah so he is…

"Well why are you following me?"

"see the thing is I have to compete in the Chuunin Exams finals next month and I need to find a teacher to teach me. Seeing as you're a shinobi and as you said, a very popular one, why don't you train me?"

Jiraiya looked in Naruto's eyes and saw expectation and eagerness. Well it had to happen anyway.

"Alright I'll train you. Come on."

"Yosha! Thanks pervy sage!"

Meanwhile, Sakura was packing her things when Sasuke came for a visit. He saw her packing and raised a brow.

"You're leaving this early? Shouldn't you wait another day?"

"Nope. I have stuff to do and not enough time to do it. So I decided to leave the hospital. It was just a precaution anyway. The curse mark isn't causing any trouble now. So now im leaving."

Sasuke scowled at her, watching her back.

"You need any help?"

"Nah, I don't have much stuff. But why are you here? Shouldn't you be training?"

"Ah… actually..uhh yeah! Kakashi was summoned by the Hokage regarding the Chuunin Exams so I had some free time. So I just dropped by."

Sakura felt a little disappointed but she shoved it away.

"well, thanks for coming Sasuke. I really appreciate it." She said with gleaming eyes. Sasuke felt the urge to hold her. But then he reprimanded himself for having such thoughts and cursed.

"Sasuke? Everything okay?"

"Hn"

"Okay then. See you around."

She waved a bye and started going to the door when Sasuke held her wrist. Electricity sparked in between them but Sasuke didn't let go.

"You better take care of yourself or I'll kill you." He said with a scowl.

Sakura was shocked but then she giggled which sounded like music to Sasuke's ears.

"Come on, Sasuke, Don't worry so much. I will take care, okay?

"Hn"

Sasuke opened his mouth to say something but immediately closed it.

He kept standing there watching her. Sakura started to feel creeped out.

"Um, are you actually gonna say something?"

"ah.. no."

"okay, im leaving then."

She started walking but stopped whe she realized Sasuke still hadn't let go of her hand. She blushed a little and the contact. But brushed it off. We're friends. Nothing more.

"Sasuke?" "Yeah"

She pointed toward the hand holding her wrist and raised an amused brow. Sasuke snapped out of his thoughts and he let go.

"Sorry. I-I I'll leave first. See you later."

You sure are awkward, Sasuke. Thought Sakura amusingly.

While walking, Sasuke mentally slapped himself. What is wrong with me? I shouldn't have come. The truth was Sasuke was tired so he decided to take a break and the first place he thought of going was Sakura's room. He didn't even know why that place came the first. But he went anyway. Then he saw Sakura packing and felt glum. I wont be able to see much of her. He thought with a sigh. And kept walking to the training ground. He just wanted her to come with him and spar. But even he didn't know why he didn't ask.

Sakura reached home and went to her room. She set her stuff down and plopped on her bed. So now that the curse mark is taken care of, I need to train. I've lost 2 days. I cant afford to loose anymore. She sat on the floor and started meditating.

Meanwhile Naruto was living a nightmare. Jiraiya asked him to walk on water but he still wasn't able to do it. He ws clearly annoyed. This kid has no talent. Thought Jiraiya blankly. Naruto had taken off his clothes to walk in water and when Jiraiya saw him concentrating chakra, his eyes widened. Somebody has put a seal around the Kyuubi's seal. It seems he cant control chakra well because that seal is blocking chakra flow.

"Naruto! Come here."

"What?"

"Stay still for a second."

"um, okay."

Then Jiraiya concentrated chakra on his fingers and the seal removal characters appeared on the fingertips. He jammed his hand in Naruto's stomach. He yelled out in pain and fainted. That should do it. Now he will be able to use chakra freely.

Sasuke was at top of some mountains made of stones with Kakashi. Kakashi had already explained how it worked but it was still too damn difficult. He sat on the ground, panting hard.

"Take a break, Sasuke. You're exhausted. We'll continue in 3 hours. Replenish your chakra till then."

And then Kakashi went off somewhere. Sasuke just sat on the ground wondering how Naruto was training. I'm not gonna lose to you, you loser. He smirked and went back to the village. He was jumping from roof to roof but came to a halt at a familiar window. He saw Sakura, with her back turned to him, sitting on the floor. Again the floor? Does she like sore back and joints? He saw that she wasn't even moving. She just stayed still. Well, it's not like I can do anything. She wont talk about it. He glared at her and went on his way.

Naruto woke up and looked around. He saw Jiraiya under and umbrella writing something. He ran and shouted at him.

"Why did you knock me out?!"

"Because you were hopeless. Now come on, show me one more time if you can walk on water or not."

Naruto gulped and slowly took a step on the surface of the water and then another and another finally he was standing on the flowing river.

"Yatta! I did it!"

"Yeah. Well that's it for today."

"what? Im not tired yet. I can still train."

"No you stuid brat. You need rest. Go home and eat and sleep. Tomorrow come here and I will teach you an awesome Justu."

"REALLY?"

Jiraiya saw the excitement in his eyes and laughed. He waved his hand as saying bye and went off.
