A/N: I know it has been a long time since the last update. And I apologize. I felt lazy for the most part. At some point I started writing the next chapter, but... about halfway through I reread it and found I did not like how it worked out. I am slowly rewriting it from scratch. But I thought I'll post this little thing as a starting point for the first arc. Hope you enjoy it.

The music starts as we get a view of a clear sky. The camera runs diagonally, with a green landscape and mountains coming into view, and a lone leaf, carried by the wind, floating. The shot changes to a lone sword stabbed into the ground as a leaf flies above it. But its shadow hits the blade, within it we see lines of codes running up and/or down as if peeking through a hole. In a flash of light, the screen turns black and the title appears:

00:11 – 00:22
A view of a valley, but half the sky covered by storm clouds slowly covering sky, lightning flashing.
Cut to the clouds as a powerful lightning strikes, showing a silhouette of a feline-like beast hiding within the bushes, as if sneaking up on its prey.
00:22 – 00:30
A small figure hides in a small cave, hugging its legs to its chest. Another flash of lightning, reveals a young Kirito in torn clothes. His expression is sad, pained and lonely. It is hard to tell if it's a tear running down his cheek or a raindrop.
00:30 – 00:32
The weather slowly changes as the rain stops, allowing a little bit of sunlight to break through.
00:33 – 00:38
Kid Kirito raises his head a little, his hair cover his eyes. The boy stands up and slowly walks out of the cave. Then tenses up and looks to his right.
00:38 – 00:42
Kid Kirito runs from the feline-like beast, barely avoiding its initial swipe. The child runs forward, towards a small cliff, where he jumps and grabs a plain looking sword. He faces the beast as it approaches fast.
00:43 – 00:45
The beast leaps at the black-haired child, as his eyes gain the look of determination, his small hands tighten the grip on the handle. He grits his teeth and shoves forward, despite apparent fear. Light reflects on the blade, causing the screen to go wide.
00:45 – 00:51
A teen (present day) Kirito is seen in his black coat, holding a black sword- the Elucidator- cutting through a group of humanoid enemies: a skeleton, a lizard-man, even a wolf-like monster, with a strong and perhaps angry look in his eyes, yet confident. He slashes them before casting an electric spell, killing the last enemy.
00:52 – 00:56
Ilfang, The Kobold Lord, is trading blows with Strea, who keeps smiling as she parries and blocks the big canine-like creature's attack. Then she finally whirls around, causing her two-handed blade to glow and delivers a slash with a serious expression on her face.
00:56 – 01:02
Asuna charges The Gleam Eyes, ready to thrust her rapier. The monster tries to cut her in two but misses. The fencer runs up the huge sword and delivers numerous thrusts at it.
01:03 – 01:06
The screen shows the following: Silica with Pina cuddling, Lizbeth with a proud smile in front of her store, Anna at her desk filled with mounts of paper drooling over a bag of money, and Yui, who seems to slowly fade into existence, her face as if waking up.
01:07 – 01:12
Kirito stands on the wall, looking at the scene of the City of Aincrad, his cloak flapping in the wind. The next set of characters is shown: Klein, giving thumbs up, Agil nodding in approval, Kazuto giving a toothy grin as he supports his weight on Elucidator, and Heathcliff as he salutes.
01:12 – 01:18
The scene changes shots from Kirito's face to Asuna's and then to Strea's, before revealing all three of them standing back facing a huge bull monster that drops to the floor. As soon as the trio sheaths their weapons, a wall of dust hits them. Kirito seems to relax a bit, Asuna places her hand on her hip, and Strea jumps in joy.
01:19 – 01:27
Kirito is in the guild, looking through the quests available, when the lavender-haired two-handed sword wielder jumps him and gives him a bone-crushing hug, causing those around to look with envy or amusement.
Scene changes to the outdoor, where a clad-in-black teen yawns as he takes a nap when Asuna approaches him with a basket that appears to be filled with food. As she was smiling at first, now she pouts a bit.
Final cut to the scenery of a river at sunset, three blades- Kirito's sword, Asuna's rapier and Strea's great sword- stabbed in the ground, forming an asterisk.
01:27 – 01:30
The screen fades to black.
A/N: Hope you liked it. And if anyone asks, Strea is NOT an original character. She's in the game universe (SAO Hollow Fragment, Lost Song, Hollow Realization). I am putting her here because 1- I really like her; 2- I feel she and most other characters from the - let's call it game timeline- don't get enough love. I'll be updating as soon as possible.
And for those who think about posting flames because they lack the ability to criticize in a civil manner- I have only one thing to say: WHAT ARE YOU? KARENS?
