At Memorial high school, Miko was in detention and was reading a book called 'world history', she places it down on her desk, "Pbht. Detention," she said and placed her head on her desk, when she suddenly heard Bulkhead arrive in front of the school playing one of her favorite songs on the radio. She looks at the teacher who was reading a newspaper and comes up with a plan on leaving detention early.
Bulkhead was singing the song when Miko suddenly entered his vehicle form, "I love this song! She said before singing along while headbanging.
"Miko, I thought you had a history report to do," Bulkhead said, "Did detention end early?"
She buckled her seatbelt, "it did for me." She sees her teacher walking towards them "uh-oh. Here comes teacher, and she doesn't look happy. Step on it Bulkhead!"
"Ah, Miko," he said before driving away towards the Autobot base.
"Miko, I'm supposed to be your guardian, not your getaway car," Bulkhead said as they drove closer to the base as they were in the desert. "You can't just cut detention. What if your parents found out?"
"They live in Tokyo, remember?" She said, "And don't worry about my host parents. I think I scare them."
Bulkhead sighs, "Miko, listen… if you fail high school, you can't go to Uh… Uni- Uh, it's 'keys' Uh, 'codge' Wait,Wait, w-what's that word again?"
"Uh, 'college'?" She said as they entered the base and exited his vehicle form "ugh, you sound like my parents."
"Well, aren't they Japanese?" Bulkhead asked.
"They may speak a different language, but you say the same thing," she explained.
"Because, we want the best for you," he told her. "And that means making sure you go to school, not jail."
"Uh-oh," Jack said from above on the catwalk, "What'd you do?"
Bulkhead bent down toward her, "Look Miko, before I became a warrior, I was a laborer, construction. I can build stuff. I can break stuff. And that's it."
"I love breaking stuff," she said, "I want to be just like you, Bulk."
"Why would you want to be like me when you can be a-a medic like Ratchet?" Bulkhead said as the cybertronian computer starts beeping
"I'm detecting a fresh energon pulse from the nation of Greece," Ratchet said as the cybertronian computer monitor shows a map of the Hellenic Republic, Greece. "An ancient city, quite historic, I believe.
"Ancient Greece, huh?" Bulkhead said, thinking of an idea, "Oh field trip."
Meanwhile on the Nemesis, a red Decepticon walked into the bridge, "It's about time, Knockout," Starscream said, "I do not enjoy being kept waiting."
"It was a long drive, Starscream," the Decepticon said with a European sounding accent after sighing "I'm still picking bugs out of my grille."
"Yes, right," the air commander said, "you're one of those."
"Come again?" Knockout asked him.
"Never understood why any self-respecting Decepticon would choose automobile as his vehicle mode when he can have flight."
"I like the way I look in steel-belted radials," he explained.
They walked through the corridors, walking towards the sick bay, "I take it Lord Megatron requires a laboratory assist?" Knockout asked.
"You... might say that," Starscream said before opening the door to the Sick bay.
Whoa," Knockout said as he saw the warlord, hooked up to spark-support.
Meanwhile at an evacuation sit in Greece, Bulkhead drove through a ground bridge portal in his alternate mode, "Here we are," he said as he stopped, and Miko exited his vehicle form.
"Sweet," she said as he backed up and transformed while she walked forwards "So, what are we doing in Greco-ville?"
"I'm scouting for Energon," Bulkhead said, holding a cybertronian tracking device."You're, doing research for your history report."
"You punked me, Bulk?" Miko said with disbelief "Not cool."
The tracking device starts beeping faster, "Hmm. Signal's strong," Bulkhead said, he then notices construction vehicles in front of them, "An excavation site."
Whoa," Miko said.
"I know construction," Bulkhead explained, "According to my scanner, humans hit energon veins, and they don't even know it." He looked around till he noticed a wall painting with the Greek God Poseidon holding a spherical device of cybertronian origin and Spartan soldiers on it. "Whoa. That's Cybertronian."
Back on the Nemesis Starscream was explaining Megatron's condition to Knockout, "Sadly, our inevitably former Lord Megatron has been like this for some time. "But the crew took a vote, and it was decided that an expert might put him on the road to recovery," Starscream said.
"I've done plenty of body work, Starscream, but I'm better at breaking then than fixing them," Knockout said as he transformed his arm into a drill that looked like a Durabyllium Drill for a second before deactivating the drill which went back inside his arm, "It would help if I had my assistant."
"I summoned both of you," Starscream said, "Where is he?"
We were hot on a fresh Energon trail when you called," Knockout explained, "Breakdown will show when he's through scouting it."
Meanwhile back with Bulkhead and Miko who were still looking at the wall, "Why would Ancient Greeks paint an Energon Harvester?" He asked.
"You know what that round thing is? You're smarter than you let on." Miko said as she takes a picture of the wall with her phone.
"But even dumber than he looks," a voice said from behind, Bulkhead and Miko turned around and saw a blue Decepticon with an orange colored face with yellow optics who was about the size of Bulkhead standing on top of stairs of a place that resembled a miniature Colosseum.
"Breakdown," Bulkhead said, telling the Decepticon what his name was.
Breakdown chuckles, "Miss me?"
"Like rust in my undercarriage," Bulkhead answered.
"You know this lunkhead?" Miko asked Bulkhead.
"We have a history," Bulkhead explained.
"And you have a pet," Breakdown said before chuckling and turned towards a nearby pillar "Does it play catch?" He asked before picking it up, "Catch."
Breakdown threw the pillar towards where Miko was and Bulkhead stepped in front before the pillar reached her. "Miko, stay down!" Breakdown suddenly tackles him and slams the wrecker into the wall with the painting of an Energon Harvester, shattering it on impact.
"Oops," Breakdown said, "hope the pretty picture wasn't too important." He transformed into a blue military truck resembling an Oshkosh Sandcat and drove away.
Miko watched him drove away as Bulkhead sat up and touched the top of his head, "told you I'm good at breaking things," he said.
She approaches him, "I always have your back, Bulk," she took her phone out, "Got us a picture of the picture," she showed him the picture of the wall she took before it was shattered.
Back at base, the picture was displayed on the Cybertronian computer System, "It is indeed an Energon Harvester," Optimus said, pointing at the orb on the monitor before turning to the three humans, "A powerful tool created by the ancients to remove raw energon from any source."
"Greek gods, knew Autobots?" Raf asked.
"No," Optimus answered, "the ancients often used the art of a given era to conceal messages. This fresco was likely a signpost indicating a harvester's location hidden somewhere on this planet."
"Uh, Optimus, if the harvester removes energon from anything, and you all have energon pumping inside you…" Jack started.
"In Decepticon hands," Optimus said, knowing what Jack was getting at, "the harvester would be a devastating weapon."
Miko turned to Bulkhead, "See? You were a genius to total that painting."
"Miko's not wrong?" Arcee said. How can the 'Cons find the harvester without the fresco?"
"Sis, I think Soundwave will be able to find it as he's known for surveillance," Chromette said.
"With high speed internet," Raf answered typing on a laptop, "if you do an image search for 'Greek God' and 'Golden Orb,' this pops up," he shows them the image on the computer of a of white stone statue of a Greek God holding a golden orb in his hand, "it's in a museum."
"That's the real deal?" Arcee asked.
"If it is and the Decepticons get it we're all gonna be fragged," Chromette said.
"Contact Agent Fowler," Optimus requested.
Ratchet pulled up Fowler's contact information on the monitor that was in the middle and made a call but Fowler wasn't picking up and soon it went to his voicemail, "You've reached Special Agent William Fowler. I'm currently on an intensive training retreat and unavailable until Tuesday."
"I hate talking to machines," Ratchet said.
"Um, Ratchet, do you realize that we're all machines right?" Chromette asked the medic.
"I meant non-sentient machines," he answered.
"Without Agent Fowler's direct aid, we will have to Confiscate the Harvester on our own," Optimus informed them.
"Woah, woah, woah," Jack said, "'Confiscate'? As in steak museum property?"
"That sounds... illegal," Raf added.
"I do not wish to break human law, but once the Decepticons learn Of the Harvester's location, they will not hesitate to obtain it by any means necessary," Optimus explained, "We must act covertly."
Jack chuckles nervously, "Okay Optimus, n-no offense, Optimus, but covertly and giant robots don't really work together. Museums are public. A-and they have guards and security cameras."
"If we had a minicon and an electromagnetic pulse we could use them to go in there?" Chromette said.
"No Problem!" Miko said, rushing towards Jack, "we're small enough to sneak in. And we are not a government secret."
"Miko, I'm not sure that's wise," Bulkhead told her.
"But it may be our best option, Bulkhead," Optimus told the wrecker, "The longer we debate, the more time we give the Decepticons."
Meanwhile on the Nemesis, Breakdown and Knockout were standing in the Bridge with Starscream and Soundwave, who has found the exact same images by searching through the internet by using a description given by Breakdown.
"Mm-Hmm. That's definitely it," Breakdown said.
"Then I'm afraid Megatron's well-being will have to wait," Starscream said, "It's harvest time."
The autobots drive up towards the museum where the Energon Harvester was being stored at in their alternate modes, each Autobot took different locations to stop at.
"Autobots, Confirm position," Optimus said.
"Me and Chrome are at Westward Ho," Arcee said from the west side of the museum before they deactivated their engines.
Bumblebee buzzed from the east side of the museum before doing the same as the twins, deactivating his engine .
"South side covered," Bulkhead said from the back of the museum and switched his engine off.
"Maintain your guard," Optimus said before turning his engine off.
At the Autobot base, the humans were in a motorized scissor lift when Optimus contacted the base, "Jack, Miko, Rafael, I will have a clear view of you. Once you secure the Harvester, I will contact Ratchet to bridge you back to base."
Ratchet activated the Ground Bridge, "Now since you'll bypass all points of normal entry, you won't need to worry about setting off the alarm but take care to avoid any security guards." The medic said.
The humans went through the portal with Jack operating the motorized scissor lift and stopped when they entered the museum's front room, which held a tyrannosaurus Rex, a moai, the heads of Easter Island and next to the statue there was the statue with the orb.
"Opa!" Miko said, and they saw Optimus blinked his headlights, giving them the go.
Jack raises the motorized scissor lift, which stopped when they were side by side with the security camera.
Miko took her phone out and angled it upside down to get a perfect picture of the statue holding the Harvester. She goes to where the photos of the statue holding the Harvester and places it over the top of camera positioning it to show the Harvester was there so they could confiscate it so a security guard looking at the security cameras in the museum's surveillance could see that it was still there.
Miko gave Jack and Raf two thumbs up and jack moved the motorized scissor liftf towards the Harvester.
Meanwhile outside the museum, Knockout approaches Optimus on the side in his alternate mode which was a red sports card resembling a Aston Martin DBS V12. He gave the Prime a wolf whistle, "Sweet rims. 24 gauge? You're real heavy-duty. Just like my friend here."
Breakdown accelerates into the parking lot at a high speed, activated a blaster, aimed it and fires a missile at the museum, Optimus immediately transformed and grabbed the missile, causing him to skid back towards the museum and accidentally cracked the glass window and looked at the humans.
The humans were trying to get the Harvester off of the statue's hand with Raf on the hand trying to push it into the lift when they looked at the window and saw Optimus look at them.
Suddenly Knockout approached the prime in robot mode holding an Energon prod which crackled with electricity as he shocks him in the neck with it, he walks forward before falling on his chest. Knockout jumped onto his back and shocks him again with the Energon prod.
"It's'Cons," Raf said.
"They got Optimus," Jack said.
Knockout blinks his headlights that are on his chest, Breakdown drove forward as Bumblebee drove towards the front and Breakdown shot a missile at the scout causing him to Transform. The twins drove towards him, he tries to shoot them with a missile but it causes them to collided with Bumblebee who was falling towards them after getting blasted, knocking the three autobots out.
Bulkhead arrives at the front by climbing the museum, without breaking it and jumped down onto the parking lot and ran towards Breakdown, who transformed and punched him as he saw him approaching him, the wrecker flew back towards Knockout and into one of the museum's pillars.
An alarm started blaring inside the museum due to the damage Of Bulkhead colliding into the pillar, and soon they finally got the Harvester into the lift, which made a loud bang as it fell onto the lift.
Knockout got back up and gasps as he sees Optimus was regaining Conscious, he rushed towards the Prime and tried to shock him with the prod again when Optimus, punched him, causing Knockout to fall to the side.
Jack lowered the motorized scissor lift, "Come on. Time to make our exit, Boys," Miko said and got off the motorized scissor lift and began to scout ahead with Jack operating the motorized scissor lift from behind, she looked to her left and then right, she saw a giant metal garage door in front of her and a button was next to her on the wall, she pressed it and walked through the door.
She gasps as she was seen by a security guard with light skin and brown hair holding a flashlight at her, "uh…" What's up?"
The security guard turned his flashlight off, "Better come with me, miss," he said grabbing her wrist and taking her away, opened the door to his office next to him, pushed her into the room before going back into the room and slammed it.
Jack and Raf his behind a cod of as they saw the security guard whisk Miko away, "Not good," Jack said before seeing the legs of a cybertronian femme approaching the giant metal door, "who is that?" Jack asked not sure which cybertronian femme was approaching the giant metal door, both he and Raf ran towards the giant metal door, "Arcee! Chromette!"
The giant metal door was lifted upwards to see that the cybertronian that was approaching them was the Decepticons chief of communications, the only decepticons that has a visor for a face.
Raf gulps "It's Soundwave," he said recalling their last encounter with him in Texas when Megatron was bringing in his army of terrorcons through his space bridge.
The silent mech picked the Harvester up, transformed into his alternate mode and ascended upwards.
Optimus stood up as he fully regains conscious and sees Soundwave flying away with the Harvester, Knockout notices as well, "Mm," he said, "That would be game." He transformed, made a U-turn and drove away, Breakdown was evading blaster fire and repeated what his partner did. Arcee went to chase after them when they heard Jack's voice. "The cons have the harvester."
"And Security has Miko!" Raf added as they Ran toward the autobots.
"What?" Bulkhead said, "I'm going in after her."
Optimus stopped the wrecker, "Bulkhead, Miko may be detained, but she is safe from harm."
"Prime's right," Chromette told Bulkhead, "It's best if we leave, till we find a way of getting her back."
Meanwhile in the Security Guard's office, the security guard wanted to know why Miko was in the museum after hours. "Look, kid, if this is some prank, you need to know that the authorities are on their way. It's go a whole lot easier for you if you told me what happened to the sphere."
"I was researching my history report. I just lost track of time and got locked in here after closing," Miko yarned to him.
"So, what's your history report about? I'd love to know," he asked.
"Uh…" Miko said not knowing how to answer that question.
"In all likelihood, Starscream will use the Harvester to gather as much energon as quickly as he can from the planet's otherwise unmineable energon deposits. Approach with extreme caution. Starscream will not hesitate to turn the Harvester on any one of us," Optimus told them before sending Bumblebee, Arcee and Chromette to three separate locations, he reactivated the bridge for himself and turned to Bulkhead, "Bulkhead, it is best that you remain here."
"So I can bust Miko out of the museum?" He asked the Prime
"So you can help Ratchet," Optimus answered, "You may be Miko's guardian, but she requires human assistance. Agent Fowler remains our best option." The Prime transformed and drove through the Ground Bridge.
Raf tried contacting the Special agent but he kept getting his voicemail, "You've reached Special Agent William Fowler. I'm currently on an intensive training retreat and unavailable until Tuesday."
"Still no answer," Raf told Bulkhead.
"Fowler's lounging around some poolside cabana," Bulkhead said and he smashed one of Ratchet's tools with a fit of rage.
"Bulkhead! I needed that!" Ratchet yelled at Bulkhead, holding an almost complete replica of the Harvester that he was working on.
"We can free Miko if we can just return that harvester to the museum," Bulkhead told him.
"So the Decepticons can steal it all over again?" Ratchet shot back at him.
"I am so dumb!" Bulkhead said, gripping his head.
"So how are we going to help Miko?" Jack asked.
"By returning this replica to the museum. The construction of which would be going a whole lot faster if Bulkhead hadn't just mangled my frame welder!" Ratchet explained.
"We're already trespassers and thieves," Jack said, Why not add forgery to the list?"
Bulkhead groans, "I wish I never taken Miko to the-" he suddenly realizes something, "The painting of the Harvester isn't the only thing we found in those ruins."
"I'm sorry?" Ratchet asked him, with confusion.
"Starscream'a not dumb," Bulkhead told him, "No matter what kind of tool he has, he's gonna take the easy route."
Starscream stood at the excavation site in Greece with Knockout and Breakdown standing near as he held the Harvester, "Why move mountains when we have a mother lode of energon right here for the taking, courtesy of this gift from ancient Autobots?"
"Uh, actually, Commander Starscream, it was a gift from Breakdown and myself," Knockout said and Starscream aimed the Harvester at him threateningly, which caused the two Decepticons to move their arms to cover them as they look at him in fear. The Harvester and both Knockout and Breakdown evaded it's beam of light which latched onto a helpless Vehicon who slowly gets drained of all of his energon.
Starscream deactivated the Harvester, "All that energon in such a tiny vessel."
"Those Ancient Autobots never missed a trick, Lord Starscream," Knockout said complimenting him and he aims the Harvester back at them for a second freaking them out and stopped aiming the Harvester at them and looked around to see where the Energon was deposited at.
Starscream aims the Harvester at some rocks, causing the Energon beneath to be harvested, unbeknownst to them Bulkhead was sneaking in the background. He rushes towards them quietly but he accidentally shattered a jar made from pottery, making his presence known as both Breakdown and Knockout saw him. "Oh, scrap," he said touching his head.
"Back for seconds?" Breakdown asked as he activated his mace, a hammer and Knockout took his Energon prod out of his Subspace storage pocket and ran towards him in two different directions , Knockout twirled his Energon prod around, causing it to crackle with electricity, Bulkhead saw Breakdown heading from his left and Knockout on his right and evaded the by ducking at the right time causing Breakdown to pound Knockout with his hammer.
Bulkhead took Knockout's Energon prod and lunged the prod at Breakdown's chest, causing him to fall unconscious.
Bulkhead suddenly gets caught by the Harvester's beam of light, has trouble standing after the beam of light latched onto him.
"You're a big one. This could take a while," Starscream said. Bulkhead suddenly got back up and slowly approaches him. "W-wait. What are you doing?"
"What I do best…" Bulkhead started to answer as he grabs the Harvester, "breaking things." He then used his other hand to punch him in the face which collided with a rock wall and crushed the Harvester with the handing holding it, turns around and threw it up into the air far away and it exploded a few seconds later.
Bulkhead falls to the ground, exhausted and weakened. Knockout and Breakdown approach them, after regaining conscious. "He's a glutton for punishment," Knockout said, holding his Energon prod which is crackling with electricity and Breakdown chuckles evilly .
They suddenly heard a Ground Bridge open from behind and above them, Optimus, Bumblebee, Arcee and Chromette transformed and began shooting at the Decepticons, "Fight?" Breakdown asked his partner.
"MM. Drive," Knockout said and the two Decepticons transformed and drove away leaving Starscream to fend for himself. Starscream tried to shoot at them, but transformed, seeing how he's surrounded and flew away.
The four Autobots approach Bulkhead laying down, "Hey, he told them.
Back at the museum, the sun was coming up as Miko finally answers the Security guard's question. "And of course, there's the whole principle of Deus ex Machina, uh the God from the machine," she said, "it's It's that part of Greek storytelling where some character shows up out of the blue to make everything right."
"That so, Young lady?" The security guard asked her and chuckles a little, "Well, I'm sure the police will want to hear all about your history report."
Suddenly they heard banging on the door before it opened and Fowler appears and shows him his Badge "Special Agent William Fowler. The stolen property has been located and restored to the museum premises."
The security guard was confused and looked at the TVs behind him and saw that the replica Ratchet made was on the statue's hand.
"The girl comes with me," Fowler added picking Miko up and took her phone out of his jacket, "You dropped your cellphone. Found it on the floor, right next to your history report." They walked out and Fowler slams the door.
Miko walks out of the museum with Fowler and gasps happily as Bulkhead approaches them, "Off you go," Fowler said as she Elena to Bulkhead and entered his vehicle form.
"Good timing, Bulk," she said as Bulkhead closed his door, "I was running out of history factoids, stuff I didn't even know I knew!"
"Looks like you're smarter than you let on," he told her as she buckles her seatbelt.
"Under pressure," she said.
"Me too," he agreed before driving away.
"I can't wait to finish my history report," she added, I'm gonna write all about how the Autobots interacted with ancient civilizations."
"Uh, I'm not so sure that'll get you into college, Miko," he said as they drove out of the parking lot.
