Naruto coughed himself awake, hitting his chest as he sat up. He whipped his head back and forth getting burnt crisp tossed everywhere.
"Konannnn..." he growled as he threw himself out of the bed. He had to get his precious hime back!
He was off in a flash, whisking through the house and making his way to the backyard. He saw no one in sight.
"What the hell..." he looked around finding none of the girls. Jumping over to the pond the koi fish popped up in happy splashes. "Sorry, guys I can't swim with you today! Have you seen Hinata? She's kind of short, long midnight hair, beautiful moon eyes, and body of a goddess?" Naruto showed all of this with his hands so the fish could get a better idea.
The fish looked at one another then they quickly swam around forming an arrow.
"Thanks, guys!" Naruto wasted no time as he sprinted across the field. Just as he got close to the other building he heard gunshots. Fear took a hold of his soul, if anyone hurts Hinata there will be hell to pay!
"Hiya!" Naruto kicked the double doors down while sliding his swords out.
He gasped seeing Sakura and Ino ducking behind a barricade, fear evident in their eyes. "What the hell is going on?" He called looking for the threat, the other girls were hiding to his right looking as if they had seen a ghost.
"Get down naruto!" Ten-Ten shouted as bullets sprayed his way, he dove out the way rolling into a crouch behind another barricade.
"Is Konan going postal! I knew her break-up would be emotional." Naruto ducked again as another bullet hit the barricade.
"No you idiot- it's your psycho girlfriend!" Konan was right next to him with her hands upon her head ducking between her knees.
"Oh hey, Konan didn't notice you there- wait Konan! What are you talking about, what's going on- ey what happened to your face?"
Konan looked up with a glare, her right cheek red, looking like a tail imprint. "First off your girlfriend is a diabolical being, and should not be allowed to wield a weapon!"
"Huh?" Naruto was confused but when he heard the clicking noise of an empty gun that's when he stood up.
The other girls sat up leaning against their barricade out of breath. "Holy shit..." Temari looked at the bullet holes all around.
"D-did I do it?" Naruto heard Hinata up front.
The group walked forward stopping as they got to the dark-haired girl. Naruto was surprised to see her appearance. She wore blue jeans and a black sports bra, her hair up in a high ponytail. But his eyes widen comically seeing the assault rifle in her petite hands.
"Naruto!" she gasped running up to him with a smile. "I'm glad to see you, are you okay?"
"I'm fine Hinata, what about you are you okay? Why do you have that gun?" Naruto looked around, "Where is the danger?" He got in a defensive stance walking around the small girl ready to fight.
"The danger is behind you!" Karin shouted still far far away from Hinata.
"Huh, what do you mean?" he looked at the girls as all of them pointed to Hinata who shyly hung her head.
"The girls have been teaching me how to defend myself..."
"Trying." Sakura came forward taking the gun from the other girl, "No more assault rifles for you missy."
Hinata gave up the gun reluctantly, "It's... It's not going too well..."
"What do you mean?" Naruto questioned as he put his swords away. He got his answer when Ten-Ten walked up with a paper with a figure on it.
She held it up with a raised brow making Hinata pout. The paper was as clean as when they put it up there. Ten-Ten whistled, "Over one hundred bullets shot..."
"And... I didn't hit it once..."
"That takes... Um..." Sakura began looking at the others for help.
"Skill." Ino snorted making the other girls snicker.
"Did she hit it?!" Karin called earning herself a shake of Ten-Ten's head.
"How is this possible, how can someone have such terrible aim!"
"Hey!" Naruto held a scolding tone seeing Hinata lower her head. "She just needs practice, we all started somewhere!"
Ino crossed her arm with a slight shake of her head, "Naruto... This is the first paper we put up. She hasn't hit it once this entire time. We don't understand honestly. I just don't think guns are for her- but that's, not a bad thing Hinata! You can always protect yourself in other ways."
Naruto patted Hinata's head, "Hinata it's alright. You don't have to protect yourself. I'll protect you."
"B-But..." Her eyes had a shine of determination, "It's you I want to protect Naruto. I don't want to see you get hurt anymore..."
Temari scoffed under her breath," With the way this is going you just may be the death of him."
Naruto shook his head defiantly, "Let me see, I can help you Hinata! Put the stickman back up!"
The girls did as such handing Hinata a pistol and then stepped far back hiding behind the barricades.
Naruto looked confused, "Why are you guys so far back? It's just a pistol!"
"Uh uh, sorry Hinata but you are a menace girl!" Temari called from behind safety. The rest of the girls nodded swiftly ducking.
Hinata looked determined to prove them wrong, "I-I can do it! I can do it this time!"
Naruto got behind the girl grabbing her hands as he wrapped around Hinata. "Let's do it. Alright so aim... Just like this."
The girl blushed, feeling his body pressed against her own, but she tried to focus on the task at hand.
"Now look at the target, keep your eyes on him like he ate the last pack of ramen..." He steadied her arms perfectly, cheek pressed against the side of her head. She could hear her heart thump in her ears. Maybe Naruto was more of a distraction than she realized.
'His body is so warm...'
"Now shoot!" Naruto commanded and Hinata did as such.
The gun shot off with a slight kick back. Naruto widens his eyes looking at the figure ready for the tear.
PING*
Naruto fell out on the floor with a gash on the side of his head. His eyes dizzy as Hinata screamed getting down on her knees. "Naruto! Naruto are you okay?"
Naruto was in a state of confusion, not just from the wound on his forehead but also how the hell did she miss- and hit him in the process?! The other girls crowded around him looking down at him with 'I told you so' written on their faces.
"M-maybe guns aren't for me." Hinata sighed handing the gun to Karin. The redhead nodded in agreement.
Naruto shot up shaking his head rapidly, "Just a tiny setback, we can do it!"
Hinata shrugged, "M-maybe I can try to use the knife again?"
"NO!" all the girls shouted in unison making Hinata jolt with an 'eep'.
Naruto's sweat dropped, "Wh-what happened with the knife hime...?"
The woman before him poked her fingers together with red cheeks. "Um... I almost got hurt..."
Naruto gasped pinning the other girls with a glare, "You guys almost hurt her?"
Karin threw her hands up," She's the one that had the knife!"
Naruto deadpanned looking at Hinata as she giggled nervously, "I-i tripped and the knife started spinning into the air and almost stabbed me..."
"Missed her by a hair." Temari popped her lips.
"Dear Kami Hinata..."
"I knooow I'm so bad at this..." Hinata whined. The woman's shoulder sagged as everyone went silent.
Naruto clapped his palms upon her arms, "It's okay Hinata, I'll help you so don't be sad."
"Y-you will? I already hurt you once... With just one bullet."
Naruto chuckled," Sounds like I'm the perfect person to help you then! I can be your target practice- not- not literally but you know."
Konan sighed, "If this is something you want Hinata we can keep trying."
Hinata nodded, "I want to learn please... I'll keep trying as much as I have to...ill try my best Naruto. I don't want you to get hurt anymore."
The girls shared looks and then nodded, "Alright we will keep on with it..." Sakura began.
"Yes-" Hinata cheered but stopped when Ino put up her hand.
"After we get some bulletproof vests on... And more barricades up." The other girls hummed in agreement.
"Alright. Let's do it." Naruto shouted.
Hinata smiled brightly, "Thank you!"
~*Hours later*~
"I don't think this is going well..." Sakura was leaning back on the couch armored up from head to toe- dents in her gear. The other girls mirrored her appearance. Hinata sat on the couch with her face in her palms, thoroughly discouraged. They had been going at it for hours... And still no success.
Not one bullet made its mark.
"I think she did great!" Naruto walked in with a bottle of water. Hinata looked up as well as the others just as Naruto took a drink. Water sprouted from different holes in his body.
"Dude..." Ten-Ten looked at the water that spilled out of his body, now on the ground.
"See if I were a bad guy id be dead right?" Naruto put a thumbs up but the others shook their heads and rolled their eyes.
Hinata groaned, "I was supposed to protect Naruto but now I'm the one hurting him." her tears began to peak in her eyes.
"Hey hey it's okay Hinata... Some of us... Just aren't cut out for this lifestyle..." Ino patted the girl's back.
Temari popped up from the couch, "Yeah I'm sure there are other things you could be good at!"
"For sure," Sakura added, "Maybe your expertise isn't in combat you know? Maybe you could work well with computers and find information!"
"Or spy work! I think she could be quite the seductress and poison her targets!" Karin smirked pushing her glasses up.
"Or you know if you are in a shooting range with all enemies." Konan pointed out making the others laugh.
Hinata smiled softly, the girls had been a great help to her. "Thanks, guys."
Ino chuckled softly but then turned to the blonde male in the room, "Did you get in contact with the boys?"
Naruto raised a brow, "You worried about someone?"
Ino gagged," As if! I just want to know if they are okay, they haven't answered any of our calls."
Hinata gasped," Are they okay?"
"Yeah, I'm sure they are fine." Naruto shrugged nonchalantly. "Sasuke's bro wouldn't let anything happen to him. Kiba and the others well..."
"What?!" Ino jumped up worriedly.
"Kiba likes to mouth people off and has no manners I'm sure he's done for..." Naruto sighed. "If only he had someone to live for someone who gave him the will power to shut his mouth- the tragedy! The horror-"
"NARUTO!" Ino gasped with a shaking fist. "This is serious!"
"They'll be fine." Konan butt in, "Yahiko isn't that type of man for senseless killing, and you know that Naruto."
"Who is that?" Hinata questioned.
Konan smiled as if she was waiting for this answer, "Leader of the Akatsuki. And a good one. He only goes for justice. Handsome too. Stupid but handsome. Always looks out for others... Caring and selfless... Smart. Did I mention handsome?"
Naruto coughed," Alright alright stop riding Yahiko's dick so hard! If he was such a good man why'd ya leave him?"
Konan blushed, looking away as she twisted a piece of hair around her finger, "It's complicated!"
"Ahuh just as complicated as Ino's relationship?"
"My what!" Ino shouted with her face going red, everyone looking towards the platinum blonde."I-i am in no relationship!"
"Is it Sasuke?" Sakura pursed her lips.
"N-No!"
"So you are in a relationship?" Karin raised a brow as Ino scoffed.
"Naruto is just messing with you guys! I'm done with boys! D-O-N-E!"
"Okaaaay that's enough fun for the night~" Temari yawned standing up with a stretch. "It's time for bed."
"Mhm~" The others followed after the blonde-haired girl, Ino giving Naruto the 'I'm watching you' gesture.
Sakura stopped to give the two the rundown, "Naruto you guys can take the guestrooms upstairs."
"Kay~" Naruto motioned to Hinata as she followed.
"Tomorrow ill make us some blueberry pancakes, would you like some Hinata?" Temari smiled walking backward.
Karin stuck out her tongue," Make chocolate pancakes!"
Hinata giggled as the two girls went back and forth screaming BLUEBERRY and CHOCOLATE. Naruto even jumped in to defend his cousin while the other half called for fruit.
"Children save it for tomorrow morning!" Konan rolled her eyes as they all parted ways. Shouting down the hall as they called back their nightly goodbyes.
Naruto knocked on Hinata's door with the back of his fist, "This is you... And I'm right next door okay? If you need me..."
"Okay, Naruto..."
They stood in awkward silence before Naruto opened his door. "Umm... Goodnight..."
"Good night..." Hinata opened her door slowly.
They both entered with their heads sticking out saying goodnight one last time before closing it. They were stuck at the door berating themselves. Neither of them seems to be able to truly speak upon their feelings.
Tossing and turning all night they could barely sleep thinking of the other person. Yet they had the same idea in mind.
'I should tell him how I feel.'
'I should tell her.'
It wasn't until midnight when they had a terrible nightmare of something bad happening to the other that they finally got up and rushed for the door opening it at the same time. They came crashing into each other in the middle of the hallway.
Hinata gasped falling on her butt, "Oh uh! N-Naruto!"
"H-hey..." he scratched his head awkwardly on the floor.
"Um... Where are you going in such a rush?" Hinata poked her fingers.
"B-bathroom, diarrhea-!"
"M-me too!"
"D-downstairs? You know there's one behind you right?"
Hinata giggled nervously, "Scenic... route..."
"With... Diarrhea?"
Hinata paled but then nodded quickly, "Mhm!"
"How brave..."
"Can Yall just get in the damn room!" Temari shouted.
Followed by Sakura, "Seriously you guys suck at this!"
There was a long awkward pause before they both started laughing, Naruto allowing Hinata into his room. Hinata stood still in the middle, looking at the black pieces on the floor.
"Did you want to talk to me?" Naruto finally asked sitting down in the bed. He patted the seat next to him as Hinata sat down gently.
The woman beside him took a deep breath and then exhaled, "I want to say... thank you Naruto... For all, you have done for me... Um... I'm sorry I shot you... Multiple times..." Her eyes began to get watery but a warm hand touched her fidgeting hand.
"It's okay Hinata, I'm indestructible!" He smiled proudly squeezing her hand in his own. "As long as you are safe... I don't care about myself."
"B-but I do!" Hinata whipped her large orbs to him, the seriousness in them had him by surprise. "Doesn't it hurt? I know you can't die but it hurts...doesn't it..."
Naruto leaned his head back looking up with a thoughtful mind. "Yeah... But I'm used to it now." he shrugged.
Hinata shook her head defiantly," Naruto I don't want you to feel pain anymore, only pleasure!" The two looked at each other as Hinata gasped slapping her other hand upon her lips.
Naruto laughed as the girl's face went completely red. "Th-that's uh... I mean I just... Don't want you hurt..." she shyly looked away tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"I know Hinata... Thanks. No one has ever truly cared about that. Sometimes people would just shoot me if I pissed them off- or just to shoot me because they can. They know it won't kill me but still... I've never had anyone care if I were in pain or not. No one has ever asked and I dealt with it for so long I'm just used to it now."
Hinata felt her heart sting, his voice sounding far away. "Okay... Then from now on... I want to try my best to protect you as well...no more pain."
"Only pleasure?"Naruto chuckled as Hinata pressed her lips together with a light giggle.
She rubbed the back of his hand with her thumb enjoying his warmth. "Um... W-was there something you wanted to tell me?"
Naruto paled, what was he going to say? Honestly, if Hinata didn't come out he probably would have gotten to her door and chickened out. He didn't know why it was so hard to talk to her. His heart always raced and his palms became sweaty. Eyes unable to focus. His tongue was as heavy as lead- dear kami the girls are right he liked this girl.
Naruto blew out a puff of air. "I uh... I th-think..." She nodded encouragingly as she waited for his words. "It's-its... fun protecting you!"
Hinata blanked, "Oh?"
"I mean-" Naruto hissed rubbing the back of his neck, "I enjoy being with you... Even in this situation... And I was wondering if... You'd like to go... Somewhere with me or anywhere honestly..."
"Like... A date?" Hinata whispered with wide orbs.
"B-but I don't want you to just say yes because I'm protecting you... So I don't want you to answer until we get your head off the menu..."
Hinata was silent making Naruto worried. He looked over to see the girl smiling brightly. "I-I...I would love to Naruto!"
Naruto gasped looking around as if he was unaware of his surroundings, "W-wait really? Did Sasuke put you up to this? Where are the cameras?"
Hinata giggled, "No... I've been enjoying my time with you too, Naruto..." Hinata caught Naruto pitching himself so she grabbed both of his hands in her own. "Even with the situation..."
Naruto seemed to glare at her as if she too was an illusion. "How much is he paying you..."
Hinata pouted, but Naruto laughed. "I'm joking I'm joking. I just can't believe you said yes... And that's not just because of... This whole thing right?"
Hinata shook her head," No... You are smart... Handsome... Funny... Caring... A good man, handsome did I say handsome?"
Naruto began to chuckle, "Are you sure you are talking about me?"
Hinata blinked her eyes, with a slight gasp "Ah, yes. I am referring to the Naruto Uzumaki, have you seen him Kyuubi?"
Naruto grinned as the girl next to him giggled, every second he spent with her he couldn't help how much she's grown on him. He found himself wondering how wonderful life would be once she was able to settle down. How life would be with her by his side.
Hinata's laughter died down as a warm hand touched her cheek. Her lips were parted in a slight gasp seeing the way Naruto's blue eyes sparkle in the moonlight. He brought her in slowly, giving her enough time to reject his advances but all she did was close her eyes, pursing her lips.
'He's going to kiss me he's going to kiss me!'
Just as Naruto got close enough to feel her breath his eyes widen. A red dot was upon her forehead! "Hinata!"
Naruto swiftly tackled the girl onto the bed making her gasp. Her eyes snapped open in surprise, she did not expect their first time to be so- rough! She tried to sit up but he pressed her down with his body, "Stay down!" he growled making the girl squeak.
"Y-yes!" The girl blushed closing her eyes.
She did not expect him to be so dominant in bed!
'A sheep in the streets and a wolf in the sheets!'
Naruto sat up just as he got blinded by a red dot. He grabbed Hinata upon the hips and flipped them over rolling them off the bed.
"N-Naruto...~" Hinata mewled, her back upon the hard floor. H-he wants to do it on the floor! "Pl-please be gentle!" Hinata cried wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Sorry hime it looks like it's going to be a rough night! Hold tight!" Naruto hiked her thighs around his hips hoisting her up as he ran for the door. He threw his back against the door spinning around as he crouched low looking for any other snipers. The other girls were already in the hall hanging low.
"What took you so long?" Sakura questioned hiding low under a window.
"Sorry sorry." Naruto chuckled scratching his head.
Hinata was completely red now looking up at the blonde as she opened her lips like a gaping fish.
Did they have this planned? He was going to have his way with her in front of everyone? An exhibist? Or an orgy? This was too much!
"Hime... Are you okay? Don't tell me that was too much the party just started!" Naruto chuckled but soon he felt the girl go limp in his arms. He gasped, "Hinata! Hinata speak to me!" he tried to wake her up to no avail.
"Did she get shot?" Ino questioned crawling over to inspect the girl for any wounds.
"No- not that I know of I would have heard the glass shatter or even a bullet!"
"W-wait she's saying something..."
The two blondes got close listening carefully.
"Naruto...wolf...down boy... Don't eat me..."
"Huh?" Naruto raised a brow highly confused.
Ino began to giggle," What kind of roleplay are you guys doing."
"Roleplay! I-i don't know what she's dreaming about!"
BANG*
"Shit!" Konan cursed ducking down as glass shattered above her.
"We are surrounded!" Karin sighed as she clicked on her tablet. "Looks like we are going to have to blow up our garden again."
"I thought you said you took the mines out?" Naruto questioned his cousin as she hummed.
"We did. But we added bombs in just in case you pissed us off enough!"
"That's so thoughtful."
"Catch!" Temari tossed a pair of keys at him as he caught it with his left hand, his other arm wrapped around his sleeping princess.
"Get to the garage while we set off the bombs as a distraction." The blonde gave him the details and he nodded.
"Right, are you guys going to be okay?"
The girls all laughed as if he just told the funniest joke.
Ino snorted patting his shoulder, "Okay? Do you know who you are talking to? We don't keep our hide out in the open and do not expect some bumps and scratches. Don't worry about us prince charming we can handle ourselves."
"Besides if we can survive Hinata we can survive anything," Ten-Ten added as the girls laughed.
"It's a shame she couldn't try my blueberry pancakes! You guys will have to come back!" Temari smiled.
Naruto chuckled, "You guys are the best sisters I never asked for, and Temari you were supposed to make chocolate chip!"
"You are the worse brother I never asked for." Temari glared as he quickly pocketed the keys.
"Alright alright! Stay safe you guys!" Naruto readied himself as everyone gave him a nod.
Konan did the count down from three to one. As soon as she put the last finger down she pointed to Karin, "Light 'em up girl."
Karin clicked on her tablet as explosion after explosion went off. After the first one Naruto pushed off into a sprint. He jumped down the stairs rail sliding down to the first floor and jumped off the side. Holding Hinata tightly he kept his eyes peeled.
A light show painted his pathway as he gritted his teeth.
"Here goes nothing !"
PING* *PANG*
The glass shattered all around him as he jumped and spun around the bullets aiming for him. He got scratched a few times but pushed on. Reaching near the garage he hit his back against the button and it opened- very fucking slowly.
Naruto danced around as the door opened up, "Come on Come on come on-shit!" Naruto ducked down just in time barely missing his head from becoming an exploded watermelon.
Running underneath the still opening door Naruto jogged to the keypad shifting Hinata around.
The speaker crackled as Sakura's voice came overhead, "Naruto the code to the keypad is-"
"I know I know Sasuke's birthday!" Naruto punched the numbers in as he heard some of the girls gasp.
"Are you kidding me Sakura!" Ino cackled on the speaker as soon as the door turned green.
"I- it was just a series of numbers! It had no meaning to his birthday at all!" Sakura defended herself. "H-How the hell do you even know that!"
"Yeah, Naruto you typed that in hella fast." Temari laughed.
"Well, no wonder he gets passed our security code! Sakura!" Ten-Ten muttered.
"Ugh!"
"Alright, ladies! It has been fun but I have to get out of here now!" As the girls were talking he made it to the yellow car, unlocking it so he could slide Hinata into the back seat. He saluted the cameras hearing the girls were still arguing.
Starting the car he was off driving out into the driveway as more explosions went off. The gates opened on their own as a chorus of bye Naruto sounded off on the speakers.
Once he was on the road making sure no one was behind him he eased into his seat with a sigh.
"Ramen... Ramen..." Hinata moaned in the backseat making Naruto raise his brow, looking in the rearview mirror.
"Huh? Hinata seriously what are you dreaming about."
