Hello to new time readers and my fans from 'The Monster Love AU' from 'Star vs The Forces of Evil'; and potentially other works depending on how far in the future it is. I was feeling… drained of my ability to write for some reason so I went on hiatus to try and figure things out. Well I remembered that basically I wanted to write things that I wanted to read so I thought 'what better way to get to it then to just write something I want to read'. Not anything too big or grand, I think, but something that would be a bit of fun to just experiment with. So I decided to write this, a crossover of 'The Kids Next Door', 'The Loud House', and 'Plants vs Zombies' just to see what happens. Will I be updating this regularly? I have no idea. Will it be any good? I have no idea. Will be fun to write? I have no idea, but I will have fun seeing if it works. So let's see if you can have some fun or get invested in this.
Night time had descended on the Loud house with the house being suspiciously quite. Lincoln was in his room reading comics in his undies when he looked up and saw the audience.
"Oh hey guys, just relaxing on my parent's date night. Now I know what you're thinking, what about Lori being overbearing. Well ever since that coup she has lessened up on her control giving us a bit more breathing room; though she still rules with a fist of steel if needed." He shuddered a second before continuing. "Although after that time I was in charge I'm a might bit willing to… support said fist if needed. Regardless, just enjoying what life has to offer as of…" An explosion interrupted him. "… just a second." With that Lori's voice rang out.
"Lisa, what is it now!" Lincoln sighed and got up taking a look outside as Lisa responded.
"Worry not elder sibling, that was simply my trans-interdimensional portal sustaining device backfiring. There should be no more issues." The other Loud siblings had poked their heads out and heard Lori groan in frustration.
"There better not be any issues. I like have enough problems without worrying about another explosion grounding the both of us for weeks." Lori stalked out of Lisa's room pinching the bridge of her nose. "I get she has a knack for these things but she like interferes in my life way to…" Another explosion came from the room with Lori getting even more frustrated with Luan commenting.
"Well guess that blew up in her face." The other siblings groaned as Luan laughed with Lori turning to go after Lisa… only to freeze at the shriek of fear that came from Lisa. Everyone stood stock still before Lisa bolted out holding onto a giggling Lily with a look of terror on her face shouting at everyone.
"EVACUATE THE PREMISE! IT'S GOING TO CATASTROPHICALLY COMBUST!" Everyone looked at each other in shock before registering her words and began scrambling for the front door.
"Outta my way!"
"Move it or lose it!"
"So not rad!"
"Get me outta here!"
The Loud siblings tried scrambling down the stairs but got caught up with each other tumbling into a giant ball at the bottom of the stairs. As they disentangled themselves the house was filled with a strange humming noise that was more felt then heard. Everyone froze again only to be pushed to the ground via a pulse of energy that made the house glow blue. Now really panicked everyone tried getting back up but the humming got stronger rattling their teeth and disorienting them. Lincoln struggled to clear his vision and focus but the blue glow seemed to only be getting stronger and the humming more intense with siblings speaking up.
"This is totes making my head feel funny."
"This is messing up my perfect teeth!"
"Is this what it feels like to be possessed?"
"I thought you said that thing was good!?" Lisa struggled to stay standing as she replied to Lori's words.
"I was wrong. It turns out that wasn't a backfiring but…" Another wave of energy passed by with Luna yelling out.
"You can give up the sciencey run down later, we need to get out of here!" Lincoln, somehow pushing through the vibrations reached the door and pulled it open to reveal a blue bubble had encased the entire house and the surrounding yard a good distance. Eerily enough it's glow seemed to be getting stronger with the bubble growing more solid by the second.
Another wave pulsed through the house sending Lincoln outside with the other Loud kids right behind him. Lucy had somehow shrugged off most of the effects and slipped by Lincoln but was stopped by the bubble which was acting like some sort of prison. All the Loud kids gulped when they noticed that… except for Lynn Jr.
"Oh that's how you wanna play huh? BRING IT ON!" Lynn charged forward but was thrown off by another pulse of energy slamming head first into the bubble not even making a dent. Lincoln winced at that as the vibrations grew stronger and stronger with the Loud siblings speaking up.
"If we survive you are like totally dead Lisa!"
"Poo Poo!"
"Well we seem to be a bit shaken! He he he ok that wasn't the best."
"Linky, I'm scared!" Lola grabbed onto Lincoln with Lana grabbing onto him as well and speaking up.
"I don't wanna die!" At this Lisa spoke up.
"I don't think we're going to die! We're just going… somewhere else. Although where it is…" The humming reached a peak and their visions were filled with bluish white light. "… I have no idea."
Numbah 1 delivered a flying kick to the ice cream man knocking him unconscious and flat on his back. Shots rang out behind him as his team shot down more of the 'Knightbots' that Father kept on pushing after them. Numbah 1 smirked as he watched two ice cream men hide behind a pile of destroyed Knightbots shivering in fear and spoke up.
"You two cool off back there, we'll just be taking our leave." At this Numbah 5's voice rang out.
"Man are you learnin from Numbah 2, cause that is not a good thing." Numbah 2 spoke up.
"Oh come on don't hate on a good one liner." He then promptly turned and used a new device of his to shoot a grenade that knocked out a crowd of Knightbots using some sort of electromagnetic pulse. "Time to say good night." Numbah 5 shook her head in exasperation as the group pushed forward past the now defeated enemies. Charging up through the hallways they found that resistance was becoming sparse… suspiciously sparse. "Man, this is becoming too easy." Numbah 4 spoke up at that.
"Oh course not, we're just that awesome!" He used some sort of hand held spring board to smack a random Knightbot down without even glancing at it. Numbah 1 however knew about the propensity for traps here and how The Delightful Children from down the lane always had a giant robot at their disposal so he spoke up.
"Numbah 2, do your trackers sense anything unusual up ahead?" Numbah 2 shook his head no. "Alright then Numbah 3 and Numbah 5 scout ahead and be cautious. We are not going to be overwhelmed again." The two nodded and moved forward while Numbah 1, 2, and 4 followed behind them picking off anyone who tried to stop them. They finally got to their destination in front of a large set of double doors with Numbah 3 and 5 waiting for them with Numbah 3 speaking up.
"We're here and they are in there, snuggaflix can confirm." She made her rainbow monkey nod with Numbah 4 groaning as Numbah 1 spoke up.
"Alright team, we will have to deal with the giant robot, any remaining henchmen, and father. This will not be easy but…" Numbah 5 then showed him something that made him smile. "… well this is going to be easier than I thought it will, but still not easy. We focus down one foe at a time and hopefully we will be done by the time Father stops gloating so we can focus on him. Ready?" Everyone nodded. "Numbah 4, if you will." Numbah 4 took a running start and leapt at the door and kicked it in doing a tuck and roll to come upright with his weapon at the ready with the team following behind him. "Aright Father, hands where we can see them." They were greeted to a large room with a massive fire place whose flame was showing off Father, the Delightful Children, and some sort of mechanical devices that Father was currently staring at as he replied.
"So you managed to get this far, you kids don't disappoint at least." He turned towards them with what the kids assumed was a smirk but being obscured by his all body shadow it was hard to tell. "As much as I respect your tenacity I can't allow you to stop me from helping my Delightful Children with their science project." The Delightful Children spoke up in creepy unison as they always do.
"But Father, maybe they can be part of the project." Father nodded and replied.
"Fair enough." He snapped his fingers and a good chuck of the mechanics behind him coalesced together forming up into a giant robot. Father turned towards the kids but his smirk faltered when instead of looks of shock like it had been in the past they were giving him knowing smiles with Numbah 5 speaking up.
"Really, a giant robot? You think we weren't expectin that?" Numbah 5 pulled out a small remote that made The Delightful Children gape in shock and speak.
"Where did you get that?!" Numbah 5 smirked at them and pointed it at the robot before replying.
"Wouldn't you like ta know." She flicked a switch making the robot malfunction and flail without control. "Now are ya gonna give us the goods or…" The robots flailing however made it run into the fire place both damaging the supporting walls and setting fire to the room. "… ohhhhh." At this Father turned towards the kids in anger with flames leaping off of him.
"You brats are RUINING MY DELIGHTFUL CHILDREN'S SCIENCE PROJECT!" He began tossing flames indiscriminately forcing everyone to duck and cover, even the henchmen who were waiting for a signal and his own children who spoke up.
"Father stop, you're damaging our project!" Father was beyond reason however at this point.
Numbah 4 leapt at Father intending to open a can of whupass but Father smacked him aside effortlessly. The robot, after smashing through some walls turned and ran through the KND's spot forcing the kids to scatter or be pulverized. Henchmen ran around in circles in a blind panic and any remaining Knightbots were smacked aside or crushed underfoot by the ongoing disaster. 'How did things go south so FAST!?' Numbah 1 thought to himself as he watched Father duck out of the way of the rampaging robot which was now smashing into rest of the scientific equipment. Seeing all of the work being destroyed left Numbah 1 satisfied but he knew they needed some stuff out of there so they needed to stop it prompting him to speak up.
"Numbah 5, stop that…" He noticed she had dropped the remote and was trying to dodge Father who was focusing her down now. "Numbah 2 stop that robot! Numbah 3 with me, we need to help Numbah 5." Lowering his weapon Numbah 1 shot at Father with his hits actual scoring their mark. This however only seemed to make Father angry as he turned on Numbah 1 growling menacingly.
"I don't really care if you're my nephew boy; you are gonna get a major spanking for…" A electrical pulse whumped through the room making everyone stumble a second. "…" Everyone then turned to see Numbah 2 had shot one of his grenades into the equipment with the robot which seemed to be having a cataclysmic reaction as now a humming noise that was as much felt as heard was going on with a bluish glow emerging from the wreckage. Everyone turned to Numbah 2 who was looking mighty nervous right now and chuckled before speaking.
"Um… got it boss?" Another whump went out flattening everyone to the ground. "What was your project in the first place?" The Delightful Children replied to that as the humming grew more intense disorienting everyone.
"It was meant to be a teleporter so we could send people directly to your moon base and bypass defenses." At this one of the henchmen spoke up.
"Then what's going to happen now?" As the Delightful Children replied a pulse of energy went out making everyone's vision go white.
"We have no idea."
Inside of a darkened and massive room a figure with a rather large head sat at the edge of a map table that was supposed to be holographic but it was clear the technology was aged and unreliable. The figure glanced at it's 'device' that was humming steadily with a bluish glow to it outlining it's claptrap like nature. It sighed and went to get up but a sudden beeping appeared on the map getting it's interest followed by another a few seconds later. The creature checked thier positions only to have the map glitch. Growling and cursing under its breath in frustration it hit the map several times with it fixing itself. Checking the positions the figure smiled and chuckled before turning and shambling away for a second before it caught itself and walked normally to a button it pressed reveal that painted on the button were the words 'brain time'.
Kind of rushed with a lot of questions hanging but I will explain details in time.
