"Energon signal's getting stronger. Five klicks, due north," Smokescreen reported as he raced through the desert of Jasper, Nevada with Bumblebee.
Bumblebee then buzzes, warning him to not go over the speed limit.
"What do you mean speed limit?! I have a gauge in here that goes to 150! If the humans who designed my vehicle form here didn't want it to go that fast, they shouldn't have given me the option!"
Just when Smokescreen couldn't go any faster, he did. The gauge read that his speed was dangerously close to 150. However, Smokescreen was quick to learn why humans keep on pushing for speed limits to be acknowledged on the road. This was shown by he and the minivan having to swerve as they almost collided. Just when he thought it couldn't get worse, it did. The driver climbed out of the car. Normally, that would be fine…
If he didn't have a crowbar.
"HEY! INDY 500! WHEN I'M THROUGH WITH YOU, YOU'RE GONNA NEED MORE THAN A PIT CREW TO PUT YOU BACK TOGETHER!" The man snarled as he approached the sports car dangerously.
The driver immediately stopped when he saw something that was impossible. And that was Smokescreen transforming into his robot form to glare at him. The driver, who was once dangerously angry, was close to climbing into his car and driving home in the urge to change into a fresh pair of underwear and a clean set of pants.
"Bring it!" Smokescreen challenged before kneeling towards the man threateningly, "Who's the tough guy now, huh?!"
Hearing a series of honks, Smokescreen turned around and saw Bumblebee approaching. Before he could even blink, the young scout had transformed and pushed him away from the human before turning to face said human and beeped his apologies.
"Relax, Bumblebee. I'm just messing around!" Smokescreen laughed as he slung his arm around Bumblebee's shoulders.
Then trouble struck. And that trouble was the driver taking a photo with his cell phone and held his servo out at the man before the human man went to posting the photo all over the Internet.
"Found it!" Jack said from the computer systems on the catwalk, using a laptop as he found the picture the man took of Bumblebee and Smokescreen, "Old road rage didn't waste any time posting your mugshots. Raf will scrub this as soon as he's back from house hunting."
"Is this what you learned while serving Alpha Trion?!" Ratchet asked Smokescreen with disbelief, "I highly doubt that he would have condoned such irresponsible behavior!"
"Blowing your cover is not okay!" Arcee reprimanded the new recruit.
"Sis, take it easy on him," Chromette told her sister, "After all he's young, possibly younger than Bumblebee and besides he just arrived on Earth a few weeks ago."
"Sorry guys, I know I really messed up," Smokescreen apologizes before turning to Chromette, "Anyway, thanks, Chromette for defending me."
"No problem, Smoke," Chromette said.
"While Arcee and Ratchet are correct," Optimus began as he approached them. "I believe that we are all equally responsible for this incident.
"Us?!" Arcee repeated in disbelief.
"How?!" Ratchet demanded.
"We weren't even there!" Bulkhead reminded Optimus before adding, "Well...Bee was."
That earned the Wrecker a punch in the stomach from the young scout.
"Our recent efforts have been so intensely focused on averting crises that we have overlooked simple matters, such as teaching Smokescreen how to best function on this planet," Optimus proclaimed, "It is an oversight that must be corrected."
"Optimus, I'm honored to train under you and will do whatever it takes to make things right. To make you proud," Smokescreen swore.
"Perhaps the best way for you to learn about the human world is from a human," Optimus added.
"Smokescreen gets his own partner?" Arcee guessed
"Puh-lease, isn't having three humans here enough?!" Ratchet asked, sarcastically, causing everyone to look at him with an expression saying 'Did you really just say that?' He then scoffed as he turned around toward the Cybertronian computer systems.
"I was referring to one already among us," Optimus corrected as he glanced at Jack, the potential next Prime when he becomes a Cybertronian.
"Uh...sure, Optimus. Um, Robots in disguise, traffic laws, Don't beat down humans, I can bring Smokescreen up to speed," Jack promised as he began climbing down the ladder to meet up with Smokescreen.
"We've all put in curbside duty," Bulkhead told Smokescreen as he placed his servo on Smokescreen's shoulder, "Part of the gig."
"Then let's go for a drive, teach," Smokescreen suggested with a smirk as he transformed into his vehicular mode and allowed Jack to climb in.
"Optimus, with all due respect, Agent Fowler is out relocating Raf's family due to 'Cons discovering where he lives. Meanwhile Smokescreen, in all his wisdom, chooses a vehicle mode with screaming Double 38s on the door, making him an easy target. I'd be lying if I wasn't more than concerned about Jack's safety as he hasn't become one of us yet and besides he's my boyfriend," Arcee stated.
"Nonetheless, the fact remains that our new recruit is in need of instruction. I believe that Smokescreen's spark is in the right place and that he now understands the necessity of protecting humanity," Optimus reassured the blue femme.
"OK. Intersection. Let's review. Light's green…" Jack trailed off, hoping that Smokescreen was paying attention to his lessons.
"Green for go," Smokescreen recalled.
"And yellow?" Jack inquired.
"Go faster!" Smokescreen answered as he pressed the pedal to the metal.
"Smokescreen!" Jack cried as they began going faster.
To Jack's relief, as soon as the traffic light turned red, Smokescreen hit the break. His nose came to a stop over the white solid line. Smokescreen was laughing. Jack, on the other hand, was having a hard time calming his rapid heart rate and slow his equally rapid breathing.
"Just messing around!" Smokescreen laughed.
"Ha ha," Jack laughed, sarcastically before looking at the rear vision mirror and seeing the familiar 'muscle car' approaching the traffic lights next to him, "Uh oh."
As the driver – who turned out to be Vince – came to a stop next to him, Jack tried to hide himself by crouching low into his seat and rolling up the tinted windows. Smokescreen took note of Jack's actions and misunderstood the reasons behind it.
"What is it? 'Cons?" Smokescreen suddenly asked.
"Just someone from school I'd rather not talk to," Jack answered.
Unfortunately for Jack, his attempts to hide from Vince's eyes didn't work. The school bully didn't fail to notice who was in the sports car next to him. With a smirk, he reached into the brown paper bag and took out the burger he had gotten from KO Burgers just before.
"Drive!" Jack hissed.
"Red light, teach. No can do," Smokescreen shrugged casually.
That is, until Vince threw the burger at the driver side window and drove away.
"Seriously?!" Smokescreen said in disbelief.
"Just let it go," Jack muttered as he grabbed the wheel and Smokescreen drove ahead as soon as the light turned green.
"Are you kidding me?! Where's your self-respect?! We've gotta stand up for ourselves!" Smokescreen proclaimed.
"We've also got to follow Optimus' rule. It's not just about protecting humans. You can't harm them either," Jack told him.
"Who said anything about harming?" Smokescreen retorted, the smirk evident in his voice.
As Smokescreen drove back into the base with Jack, they had a hard time containing laughter as Jack exited Smokescreen's vehicle mode.
"I am so posting this tonight!" Jack decreed as he glanced at his phone before continuing to laugh, causing the twins to turn around and wonder what happened.
"What did you both do?" Chromette asked them.
"Arcee, Chromette, check out Vince's car!" Jack said, laughing as he held his phone up to them.
"The bully?" Arcee guessed.
"It can't be that important," Chromette said, not caring on what Jack and Smokescreen did to Vince's car.
As the twins looked at the phone's screen after bending down, they saw that Vince's Muscle car was covered with multiple burgers as a makeover.
"Hey, Vince! Did you want fries with that?!" Jack smirked, causing himself and Smokescreen to suffer another laughing fit.
"Seriously?!" Chromette said with disbelief.
"Let me get this straight. So you taught Smokescreen everything he never needed to know about fast food?" Arcee surmised.
"He passed Driver's ed," Jack defended himself, "Work hard, play hard."
"Uh, yeah. No humans were harmed in the making of these photos, honest," Smokescreen agreed as he walked past them.
"Is it me or is there something more to it than that?" Chromette asked Arcee.
"You're right, Sis, there's something more to it than that," Arcee said, agreeing with her.
If the Autobots didn't have enough on their plates already, the Decepticons were going to give them another serving of trouble. Megatron watched as Soundwave's visor displayed a map with a beacon pinpointing a specific set of coordinates. It didn't take the Decepticon lord long to figure out what Soundwave was telling him.
He found another Iacon relic.
"You have decoded the next Iacon coordinates? Excellent, Soundwave," Megatron complimented as he held up a container that resembled the containers that contained the Iacon relics, "Then it is time to beta test our decoy!"
"I am nearly done decoding the next set of Iacon coordinates," Optimus proclaimed as he worked fast on decoding the coordinates in the Iacon database.
"You may not need to complete your task, Optimus," Ratchet decreed gravely as they saw the alert they were just receiving.
"An Iacon locator beacon," Optimus said as he saw that one of the monitors of the Cybertronian Computer Systems was aimed somewhere in Manchuria, China.
"It seems the Decepticons have already excavated the next relic," Ratchet announced.
"Ratchet, triangulate coordinates and activate the Ground Bridge," Optimus immediately instructed.
"Bring on the 'Cons!" Bulkhead challenged as he pounded his fists together.
"Where is Smokescreen?" Optimus asked as he approached the other Autobots in front of the Ground Bridge portal.
"Out training again with Jack," Arcee answered, and was rather irritated that he was spending time with him rather than her as they are boyfriend and girlfriend.
"Again?" Chromette added.
"We cannot wait," Optimus decided, "Autobots, transform and roll out!"
With those words said, Optimus, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Arcee and Chromette transformed into their vehicle modes and raced through the Ground Bridge, while Ratchet resumed his work on whatever it was he was doing before.
At the coordinates Soundwave decrypted, the Decepticons were quick to begin their work to unearth the latest Iacon relic. They didn't know what was hidden behind the rock structure they were drilling through. But considering that it was one of the many Autobot acquisitions that were shuttled out of Cybertron before the final raid of Iacon that preceded the exodus, they knew that this relic held significant importance.
As the Vehicons utilized the drills to drill their way through the rocky structure, Insecticons were employing their strength to lift the blocks away. Rather than have another subordinate the coordinate the excavation on his behalf, Megatron decided to come down and coordinate the excavation himself after reflecting on the 'string of failures' the other Decepticons – excluding Soundwave – have had with the retrieval of the relics as of late.
"Lord Megatron!" one of the Vehicons called after he pushed a particularly large boulder away.
"I certainly hope our latest acquisition is of Decepticon origin," Megatron prayed as he approached the excavation site, only to freeze and gape in horror, "It cannot be!"
When the Vehicon finished removing the boulder from his path, he saw his fears being confirmed before his very red optics. He saw a sword hilt peaking from the rock. He recognized the sword design anywhere. He had heard legends about it. In fact, he is still to meet a Cybertronian who hasn't heard of this sword.
"Power of this magnitude must never be allowed to fall into the hands of Optimus Prime! No matter what!" Megatron proclaimed.
He was determined to keep the sword out of Optimus' reach. No matter what it took. So he was quick to try and remove the sword from its rocky resting place. He grabbed the hilt of the sword and began pulling. However, the sword wouldn't budge. It didn't even move the slightest millimeter at Megatron's consistent pulling. The pulling continued until he was forced to stumble backwards.
Unwilling to give up, Megatron began shooting at the rock with his blasters. Clouds of dust and sediment from the rocks circled the air around them due to Megatron's firepower. When the clouds cleared, however, there was no damage. The sword was still buried in the rock.
The sword that was so special, that held great significance, could only be removed by a Prime like the sword of Excalibur and King Arthur in the legend of King Arthur.
"The rock is impenetrable!" Megatron gasped in horror at the startling revelation, "The relic is emanating a protective shield! It will only respond to the power of a Prime! We will remove it if we have to take the entire mountain!"
Suddenly back at Autobot outpost Omega one, the Cybertronian Computer System picks up the locator beacon of the relic that the Decepticons have just unearthed, Ratchet notices this and goes to contact Optimus.
"Optimus, I have just picked up a second Iacon locator beacon," Ratchet said as he activated the comlink on the Cybertronian Computer System.
The response of the call was static. He knew well enough that earning static as a response to your calls meant that either something bad had happened or the Autobots were outside communications range. From experience, the first-case scenario – the something bad had happened scenario – was most frequent.
"Optimus, Do you read?"
Optimus, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Arcee and Chromette were exploring the coordinates they were dispatched to. Their scanners were leading them to the Iacon locator beacon. Or so they thought. They had no idea that they were being led around in circles by a decoy the Decepticons had left for them.
"No sign of 'Cons," Bulkhead observed.
What they didn't know was that Soundwave was flying around above them with the decoy attached to his undercarriage.
As Jack and Smokescreen returned back to base from training for the second time this week. Ratchet heard the two of them laughing.
"Oh, dude! My boss is gonna freak!" Jack cackled as he struggled to breathe.
"That thing we stuffed in his tailpipe! What's it called again?" Smokescreen inquired.
"Pizza!" Jack spluttered before they started laughing again.
"Will you two keep it down?!" Ratchet snapped as he continued trying to contact the other Autobots, causing them to stop laughing. "Arcee! Chromette! Bulkhead! Can anyone read me?!" Ratchet asked into the commlink, earning static as his response each time.
"Ratchet, what's going on?!" Jack demanded as he and Smokescreen approached the computer.
"Our sensors detected a second Iacon locator beacon, but I can't reach Optimus," Ratchet answered, turning around.
"I'll go," Smokescreen immediately volunteered.
"Alone?!" Ratchet was quick to protest.
"You have a better option?" Smokescreen retorted.
"Fine," Ratchet sighed and went to open the Ground Bridge, knowing that Smokescreen was right.
"He says 'fine'...but I don't really think he wants me go alone," Smokescreen said with a smirk, leaning towards Jack.
Something that the Autobots would find hard to believe is that those words were all that were needed to convince Jack to break the rules and join Smokescreen on this particular relic hunt, considering that Ratchet still hasn't found a way to turn him into a Cybertronian. Jack, however, was growing to regret making this decision as soon as the Ground Bridge portal closed behind them as he came to a horrifying revelation.
"I… just pulled a Miko," Jack muttered as he rested his head in his hand.
"Let's go grab a relic," Smokescreen proclaimed as he leaned towards Jack and pounded his fists together before he took off running.
Jack was quick to follow Smokescreen. Their first course of action was to hide behind rocks, enabling them to view the situation from afar and figure out an intelligent plan. They saw Megatron, a handful of Vehicons and a handful of Insecticons surrounding the mountain that the sword was buried in.
"Whoa! It's a sword!" Jack observed.
"Not just any sword," Smokescreen told him, "That looks like the Star Saber, a legendary weapon forged by Solus Prime, as lore would have it. It's rumored to wield the power of the Matrix. I'm gonna make Optimus proud."
"Not a good idea," Jack protested.
"Why?" Smokescreen asked, confused on why Jack would stop him from obtaining something that would be potentially important.
"Because Megatron's here," Jack answered as Megatron was ordering a few of the Vehicons around.
"The dark lord himself," Smokescreen gasped before smirking as he pounded his servos together, "He won't know what hit him."
"Smokescreen, wait. Something isn't right," Jack said, stopping Smokescreen, "Why doesn't Megatron just take the Star Saber?"
"Germaphobe?" Smokescreen guessed with a shrug.
"Seriously, we need to wait for backup," Jack told the new recruit.
"You heard Ratchet. Backup's not available right now," Smokescreen retorted as he leapt into the action.
"ENOUGH!" Megatron roared after a long process of Insecticons removing even more rocks from the mountain, "Comence transport!"
No sooner than the order was given, the clawed grabs were lowered from the Nemesis. The clawed hands burrowed itself into the mountain, maintaining a sturdy grip. Before the grabs could begin to lift the mountain from the ground, the Decepticons were surprised by firepower from behind. Turning around, everyone saw Smokescreen coming in for an attack.
"Who in the Pits of Kaon is that?!" Megatron demanded as he saw Smokescreen take down most of his Vehicons.
Smokescreen ignored the Decepticon warlord. Instead, he made a grab for the sword. However, he found that he was having the same problems Megatron had before. That problem was the sword refusing to come out of its deep burial in the rock.
"Scrap! It's really in there tight," Smokescreen remarked, only to cry out in pain as he was shot in the back.
"No. This can't be happening!" Jack gasped as Smokescreen turned around and looked at the Vehicons, who were surrounding him before Jack took out his phone and dialed the Autobot base, "Ratchet, you gotta get Optimus here now. Smokescreen went for the relic." Unbeknownst to him, an Insecticon began to approach him from behind, "I-It's called the 'Star Sab-'" He then turned around as he noticed the Insecticon and froze with fear in his eyes as he knew that right now and till Ratchet finds a way to turn him into a Cybertronian, he couldn't fight the Insecticon.
"Where in the name of Cybertron are you?!"
Jack was having a hard time answering Ratchet's questions. In the process of running for his life, he continuously dropped his phone and had trouble picking it up. Every time he stopped, the Insecticon came closer. And after his encounter on Cybertron, he didn't want to suffer déjá vu.
"And did you say 'Star Sab'?" Ratchet inquired before realizing what Jack was trying to tell him, "Oh, my. Jack!" He then went to contact Optimus and the rest of the Autobots, who went after the first 'relic' they detected earlier with the Cybertronian Computer system, "Optimus, please respond!" He looked up at the Autobots' lifesigns on one of the Cybertronian Computer monitors above him as he saw that they were all still alive, "I can see that you're alive, Optimus. Why won't you answer me?"
"Ugh!" Acree exclaimed in frustration, "Every time we get close to the beacon, the signal moves."
"All of this legwork is giving me itchy fists!" Bulkhead said, punching his fists together to prove his point.
"I'm starting to think all this is just a Decepticon trick," Chromette stated.
"You're right, Chromette, it seems we have been led astray by a Decepticon trick," Optimus snarled angrily.
The five of them were surprised to see a blinding light coming from behind. When they turned around, they saw a Ground Bridge portal standing there. Glancing around, they were confused. They never called for a Ground Bridge. They were having trouble establishing contact with their base. Then they saw Ratchet race through the portal at speeds that surprised them. They didn't need experts at rocket science to know that something was wrong. After all, Ratchet was never like this unless something was seriously wrong and someone was in danger.
"We have a situation," Ratchet told them.
That earned their attention at once. All they were hoping for was that one of their friends wasn't involved. But knowing their luck, they would be.
As Jack was running away from three Insecticons, he turned back around as one of the Insecticons neared him as it growled and knocked a tree to the ground and went to strike the human, only for Jack to evade the Insecticon's attack and ran towards one of the other Insecticons, who went to stomp on him with one of its pedes, only for Jack to evade the Insecticon's stomp before it went to stomp on him again with its other pede, only for him to evade the Insecticon's stomp again before continuing to run away from the Insecticons.
Back at the site, the Decepticons were enjoying small successes. They were able to commence the removal of the rock in the mountain the sword was buried within as Insecticons, who were on top of the rock, flew away in their beetle forms. But, Megatron didn't want to worry about the Star Saber for the time being. At the moment, he had something else to worry about.
"Bring him to me," Megatron instructed, gesturing towards the downed Smokescreen.
Smokescreen didn't try to fight the Vehicons. Instead, he allowed himself to be dragged towards the Decepticon warlord himself.
As Jack continued to run away from the Insecticons, Jack tried hiding near a group of rocks and as the Insecticons stomped its pede on the ground near the human, Jack slowly backed into the rocks and hid from the Insecticon, who tried to grab him with one of its beetle servos.
Smokescreen grunted as the Vehicons roughly tossed him on the ground. He was already being dragged across the ground on his knees. Now, he was forced onto his servos and knees. He was forced to kneel before the mech who had caused the war. The one who caused his home planet to be poisoned with Dark Energon and made Primus to shut down the planet's core to undo the damage that Megatron had done to him. The thought alone made him want to purge the little Energon in his tanks.
"What is your name, Autobot?" Megatron asked Team Prime's new recruit.
"Why? Who wants to know?" Smokescreen responded, cheekily with a smirk.
Megatron snarled in anger. If there was one thing he didn't like, it's cheeky Autobots. He raised his servo to prepare to backhand the young Autobt. However, something stopped him. And that something was a firefight. Confusion was written on his face as he turned around. He saw Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Arcee and Chromette fighting their way through the swarm of Vehicons blocking their way. But Megatron didn't care about them. He only cared about one person.
"Where's Optimus?!" Megatron demanded, nervously as he looked around. He then looked up as he saw Optimus climbing up the mountain before transforming into his alternate mode once he reached the top of the mountain. He began driving around the mountain as he followed the rock that had the Star Saber buried within. He then transformed back into his robot form as he continued climbing up the mountain in order to reach the rock that had the sword embedded within it.
"KEEP PRIME FROM THE RELIC!" Megatron ordered the Vehicons as he ran past them before transforming into his Cybertronian Jet form with two Jet Vehicons doing the same from behind him as they began flying up towards the mountain to stop Optimus.
Smokescreen transformed his servo into his blaster and aimed it at the two Jet Vehicons and Megatron. He then heard the Vehicon behind him transform their servo into their blaster and aim it at him. They then cried out in pain as they were shot, causing them to be flown backwards as Smokescreen turned around and saw Bulkhead run towards him.
"I got your back," Bulkhead assured their new recruit with a slight smirk.
As Bumblebee was firing his blasters at Vehicons, Arcee and Chromette rushed towards two Vehicons with their arm blades deployed and kicked them before they heard the loud shrieking sound of an Insecticon. Arcee took a battle position and she looked in the distance and saw two Insecticons trying desperately to claw through the group of rocks that Jack was hiding within. She then realized that Jack was in danger.
"Go, Sis, I can handle it from here," Chromette told her and she nodded a response.
As the Insecticons continued to claw through the group of rocks that Jack had been hiding behind, one of them picked up the rock that was on top of the others as they growled before one of them placed their servo on one of the other rocks and moved it away and went to attack him. The Insecticon was then taken down by the rock before Jack saw firepower firing at the other Insecticon before Arcee jumped onto the Insecticon and kicked the Insecticon. She then jumped back onto the ground and leaned down towards Jack as Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Smokescreen and Chromette took care of the Insecticons around them as Chromette finished off the Insecticon that Arcee was firing her blasters at.
"Arcee!" Jack sighed in relief.
"What could you possibly have been thinking?!" Arcee demanded in anger, "Ratchet still hasn't found a way to turn you into a Cybertronian yet."
As Optimus continued to climb up the mountain, he jumped and transformed into his alternate mode and began to drive across the mountain again as he began to evade firepower from Megatron and the two Jet Vehicons as they flew towards him before Optimus drove up the mountain, continuing to evade Megatron and the two Jet Vehicon's firepower and soon changed direction as he began to drive towards the rock that had the Star Saber buried within it.
Back on the ground below, Jack, Arcee, Chromette, Smokescreen, Bulkhead and Bumblebee watched in worry about what Optimus was about to do as they knew that it was risky. Megatron and the two Jet Vehicons firing firepower at him was only a contributing factor to the risk.
They watched as Optimus drove off of a rock-shaped ramp and took off, heading for the rock containing the Star Saber. They watched as he evaded firepower from Megatron and the two Jet Vehicons before a blast of firepower from Megatron hit the side of Optimus' cab, causing him to transform back into his robot form and continued to fly with his servo reaching for the Star Saber, which he soon grabbed the hilt of the sword. As he grabbed onto the Star Saber's hilt, Megatron and the two Jet Vehicons continued to fire their blasters as they flew past the rock that had the sword buried within, only for one of the Jet Vehicons to damage the side of the rock with their body, but ultimately surviving as the Star Saber began to glow a bright blue as it began to be removed from the rock that the sword was buried within as Optimus fell to the ground below with the Star Saber in his servo.
Megatron and the two Jet Vehicons soon flew towards the Nemesis and transformed back into their robot forms and landed on the top of the Decepticon warship and began running towards the edge of the ship, hoping they were hallucinating. However, they saw the bright blue glowing hue emanating from the Star Saber from the ground below. That answered their questions and answered their fears, Optimus Prime had gotten his servos on the relic.
Optimus landed hard on the ground below with the Star Saber stabbed into the ground before he picked it back up and held it in the air.
"I loosened it for him," Smokescreen stated.
"Drop the mountain on him!" Megatron snarled from inside of the Nemesis.
The Nemesis then released the mountain that they were holding, causing Arcee, Chromette, Smokescreen, Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Jack to stumble backwards as the mountain fell to the ground and began rolling towards Optimus. Normally, they wouldn't be worried as there wasn't any human population in miles, but Optimus was right in the path of the large rock that the Star Saber was buried within before Optimus grabbed it from the rock.
"OPTIMUS, RETREAT!" Arcee warned the Prime.
"LISTEN TO MY SISTER, OPTIMUS, RUN AWAY FROM THE MOUNTAIN'S PATH!" Chromette said, agreeing with her sister.
"NOW!" Bulkhead called out to Optimus, agreeing with the twins.
Optimus didn't listen to them and did nothing, instead he turned around and swung the Star Saber around in a casual manner and sliced the mountain in half as both halves of the mountain rolled past him before stopping a few yards away, behind him.
"Wow," Chromette muttered with shock evident in her voice as she was surprised at what the Star Saber just did to the mountain.
"Did he just…" Bulkhead began with shock evident in his voice as well before Bumblebee beeped a response.
"No way," Jack muttered with amazement.
Team Prime weren't the only ones who were amazed by what they just saw their leader do with the Star Saber. Megatron was also having a hard time believing what Optimus had done as well. The Decepticons would even go as far as saying that they all thought they leaked a little transmission fluid at the sight.
Optimus wasn't done yet, he had one more task to complete. He began running forward and spun around a few times as he yelled out a battle cry. When he was done, he sent out a wave of energy hurtling towards the rear engines of the Nemesis and collided with the Decepticon warship.
"It can do that?" Smokescreen said with surprise and amazement.
"It seems so, Smoke," Chromette muttered, agreeing with their new recruit.
Unfortunately for the Autobots, the Nemesis didn't crash land like they hoped it would. The damage done to the Decepticon warship's engines wasn't bad enough to cause a crash landing. However, it still left the Decepticons shaken up by what the Autobts dished out at them.
"We Decepticons now face our darkest hour…"
"How epic was that?!" Smokescreen said with excitement once they had returned to base as he demonstrated what happened for Ratchet to see, "I saw it with my own optics. But I still don't believe it."
"How do you think we all feel, Smoke?" Chromette asked him.
"You know what I still don't believe. That after everything you've been told, you still put a human at risk," Arcee snapped at their new recruit as she was angry that she put her boyfriend at risk because Ratchet still hasn't found a way to turn him into a Cybertronian.
"A-Arcee, it wasn't his fault. I shouldn't have G-" Jack began.
"Don't even start with me! We'll talk tomorrow!" Arcee told her boyfriend with anger and irritation before turning to Ratchet, "Send Jack home."
Ratchet used one of his digits to choose the Ground Bridge's coordinates at the Ground Bridge's controls before pulling the switch downwards, activating the Ground Bridge portal before Jack sighed and began to walk over to the Ground Bridge portal before stopping as he turned to Smokescreen.
"Green for go," Smokescreen told him, remembering the lessons that he gave him a few days ago before Jack walked through the Ground Bridge portal before Ratchet switched the Ground Bridge portal off.
"We've been in need of another Autobot in our ranks, not another child," Arcee stated.
"As much as I hate to say it, I agree with my sister on this, Smoke," Chromette said, agreeing with her twin sister.
"Look, Arcee, I was wrong, and I'm sorry… again," Smokescreen apologized to the blue femme, "And if you need to kick me off Team Prime."
"Disregard for human safety or any human, especially for one that Ratchet is trying to find a way to turn into a fellow Cybertronian - will not be tolerated. Do you understand?" Optimus rumbled, dangerously as he stabbed the Star Saber into the floor of the base.
"Fully, sir," Smokescreen answered as he placed his servo over the center of his chassis, causing everyone to widen their optics in shock at what Optimus threatened at Smokescreen because of him unintentionally endangering the potential next Prime's safety when he becomes a Cybertronian.
"We must never lose sight of the fact that upon this Earth, we are titans, and such power mst be used wisely," Optimus told everyone.
The Star Saber then suddenly began to glow bright blue, causing Optimus to look at it before everyone else did the same as Optimus rotated the sword around and held it upwards.
"Whoa!" Bulkhead said with shock and surprise.
"What's happening, Optimus?" Chromette asked the Prime.
"Optimus, speak to me!" Ratchet pleaded with him, "Optimus!"
"I am receiving a message," Optimus told him.
"From who?" Ratchet inquired.
"Alpha Trion," Optimus answered.
Next is Alpha/Omega and please favorite, follow and review. Sorry for not updating in two years, I've just been busy with my other fanfictions. I also want more suggestions on how I should turn Jack into a Cybertronian and would you guys mind if I add one or more Autobots travel alongside Ultra Magnus like Springer, Rodimus or Perceptor when he appears in Season 3 and if so should I have Blitzwing appear alongside Shockwave?
