AUTHOR'S NOTE: I hate to give people false hope that I updated this fic, so apologies if this update got your hopes up. However, I have had a lot of people as of late requesting an update, hoping I haven't abandoned this fic. Please rest assured, I have not. It was extremely easy for me to write the first two thirds of this story as material already existed that I could shape to fit a version of Westeros that contained Amarah. Once I had completely passed the books though, it just simply became more difficult to write a story about events that had yet to happen in the novels. Added to that the fact that I watch the show that has diverged GREATLY from the source material at this point, conflicting cannon storylines are not helping my difficulty in outlining future chapters. All this to say, I have just been having a difficult time watching the show, being a fan of the books, and writing this fic at the same time. Even though that is the case, I will most definitely be finishing this story. I have invested wayyyy to many hours in it to simply leave it unfinished. I might find the inspiration I need to finish it before the show is completed, or it might have to wait until the show is off the air and I can mentally distance myself from David and Dan's version of Westeros. But whatever the case, it WILL be completed. I promise you all that.
So with that long-winded explanation, thank you to everyone who faithfully reads and keeps up with this story. Please rest assured, you will have a pay off for all the hours you have invested in reading (some of you re-reading) Amara and Jaime's story. Mayber sooner rather than later, but it most definitely is on the horizon.
