I want to thank everyone that has been giving me ideas for what to do for the Pearlshipping Day story! Unfortunately, I won't be able to do them all but I really appreciate them! This is the final chapter of the Kalos League so enjoy!
It was the next day, the day of the Kalos League final. Ash was in the Pokemon Center picking up his Pokemon that he left in Nurse Joy's care. Pikachu jumped into Ash's arms and Nurse Joy wished Ash good luck in his upcoming match.
After getting his Pokemon, Ash walked outside to where the rest of his friends were. Clemont and Bonnie's dad, Meyer and Clembot came and brought lunch for everyone. They were all sitting in a field, having a picnic while the Pokemon roamed free and played together.
Sawyer was with the group as he wanted to hear about Dawn and her experiences as a coordinator to hopefully be able to incorporate something into his battling style.
Everyone was happily eating lunch, especially Chespin and Manoswine. There was one Poffin that Dawn had made left, Pancham and Chespin both reached for it at the same time. They started to argue over who would get the last one. Suddenly, the Poffin slipped out of both their hands and the Pokemon began to rush after it.
Who knew a Poffin could roll so much, it rolled all the way into the entrance of the stadium and by where all the stops were.
Pancham ended up losing sight of both the Poffin and Chespin. Chespin, on the other hand, was determined and ended up catching up to the runaway treat. Just as Chespin was going to enjoy the snack, a Murkrow snatched it and ate it.

A young girl was looking at one of the booths, trying to decide which keychain she wanted.
"Which one?"
She looked at all four keychains and tried to pick out their pros and cons. Ultimately, she decided on the Jirachi keychain as the merchant told her that it brought her good luck.
"Chespie is sure to love it!" she said.

After lunch, Sawyer left and after everyone said their goodbyes, they turned around to return their Pokemon so they could head back to their room.
Serena looked around then realized that her Pokemon was missing. "Pancham?"
"Chespin is missing too!" Said Bonnie.
Each Pokemon looked around to see if they could find the missing duo.
Suddenly, a bush started to shake and out popped Pancham. Serena ran up to her Pokemon and gave it a hug, saying how concerned she was about it
Clemont was started to worry, there were no signs of Chespin and since Pancham was here, they weren't together and that Chespin was alone. Clemont then walked up to Serena and Pancham. "Pancham, do you know where Chespin could have gone?"
Pancham then nodded and pointed to towards the entrance of the stadium.
Everyone quickly returned their Pokemon and started to head there to look for Chespin.

Feeling very defeated, Chespin was look down towards the group. He was really hungry and he really wanted that Poffin. Because Chespin wasn't looking where it was going, it ran into something.
"Ah!"
The girl who bought the keychain looked down and saw the wandering Pokemon. "Are you alone? Where's your trainer?"
Chespin snapped right back into reality and started to look around. There were no signs of Clemont, Pancham or anybody it knew. Chespin started to freak out and cry.
The girl then kneeled down to Chespin's level and started to pet the top of its head. "Don't cry. I'll help you find your trainer!"
Chespin then turned around and smiled.
"Hi! My name is Mairin! My partner is a Chespin, just like you! I call it Chespie!"
Mairin grabbed Chespin and held it in her hands as they started to walk to try and find Chespin's trainer.
As they were walking, Shauna, Trevor and Tierno were enjoying a snack when they heard the familiar Chespin call. They looked and realized that the girl was holding Clemont's Chespin.
"Hey, that's Clemont's Chespin right?" Asked Trevor.
Mairin then turned around as Chespin gave the trio a friendly greeting.

"Chespin? Where are you?" Yelled Clemont. They were in the middle of the entrance of the stadium, calling out for Chespin.
Shauna, Tierno, Trevor and Mairin were walking towards there when they saw the group of 5 looking out. Shauna then pointed to the group and said. 'That's them!"
Chespin quickly jumped out of Mairin's arms and ran towards its trainer and jumped into Clemont's arms.
Clemont smiled. "Chespin! I was so worried! I'm glad you're alright!"
Mairin looked at the reunion between Chespin and its trainer and smiled. She couldn't help but be a little sad when watching the two interact. It made her remember all the times she had with her own Chespin. She felt so alone not have Chespie by her side.
"Thank you so much Tierno, Trevor and Shauna!" Said Dawn.
Tierno then winked at her "It was no problem!"
Dawn awkwardly laughed.
"But it wasn't really us" said Tierno as he turned around toward Mairin.
Mairin had her hat covering her eyes and her hands were in fists. She looked up to the group and had tears in her eyes.
No one really knew how to react.
"What's wrong?" asked Ash.
Mairin then quickly started to rubbed away her tears, she didn't realize that anyone was watching her. "Sorry about that! I'm fine! Something just got in my eye!"
Dawn couldn't help but giggle and then sigh. This just reminded her of the time when she was crying by the MooMoo Milk cafe back in Sinnoh.
Ash seemed convinced, but no one else was.

The group decided to head back to the Pokemon Center so that they could properly meet Mairin. Everyone sat down by the couch.
Mairin decided that she better explain why she was crying before. "The thing is… I have a partner. It's a Chespin too! So your Chespin reminded me of my Chespie, that's all…"
Serena, who was sitting next to Mairin moved a little closer to her. "So you call it Chespie?"
Mairin nodded. "Chespie is the best at everything!"
Bonnie then giggled. "Are you sure it reminded you of our Chespin? Chespin is only good at eating!"
Mairin smiled. "That's awesome!"
"So it reminded you. Where's Chespie now?" Asked Serena.
Mairin then looked down at her legs and began to kick them awkwardly. "You see, Chespie has been asleep for quite awhile…" There was a clear shift in her tone. "It won't wake up…"
Serena, realizing that she brought up a sensitive topic quickly apologized.
Mairin gave Serena a reassuring smile. "Don't be sorry! Chespie is being treated at Lysandre Labs! They're awesome!"
Not wanting Mairin to get even more upset, no one asked anymore questions. Suddenly, they hear a familiar voice. "Ash, everyone, hello!"
Everyone turned and saw the professor coming up to greet them. Walking up the group, Professor Sycamore noticed that Mairin was with them. "Oh hi Mairin!"
"Professor!" Mairin took up to face the professor.
"Are you here to cheer for Alain?" He asked.
Mairin then awkwardly nodded her head, she hadn't explained to the group that she was best friends with Alain.
Hearing this got Ash excited. "Wait, you're Alain's friend?"
Mairin awkwardly turned around and laughed at the other finalist.

Alain was inside a room in a tall building with his Charizard, getting some final preparations before the battle later today. Suddenly, the door opened and Malva walked in.
"Congratulations on making it to the finals" she said.
Alain was not amused with her. "Don't bother me now, I'm fine-tuning…" Alain said and he walked up to his partner.
"I never though you'd enter the Kalos League…" Malva said she then shrugged. "I guess, knowing that you want to come the strongest trainer of all, it makes sense"
Alain had his back from Malva. "This isn't about being the strongest trainer" He then paused and started to pet his partner. "I want to battle him"
"Are you talking about Ash? You're giving him all this attention, the boy should be flattered"
Alain then took a step towards Malva so he could see her out of the corner of his eye. "What do you want?"
Malva then turned around and started to walk back towards the door. She then stopped and said, "I hear the Mega Evolution energy gathering is almost complete. So after you save Chespin, what do you do?"
Alain then looked to the ground and had flashbacks of all the times he had spent with Mairin. When they met, all the silly things she would do, when she told him about Chespie… He was doing this all for her.
"None of your business"
Malva smirked and then started to walk away, finally exiting through the door.
Alain just kept looking at the ground, recalling Mairin's cry when Chespie first fell asleep.

Back with our heroes, they were still in the Pokemon Center talking.
"So have you seen Alain yet Mairin?" Asked the professor.
Mairin shook her head. "No, not yet, I'm planning on seeing him after the finals. I don't want to bother him. I know he has to concentrate" She then smiled. "There will be plenty of time to bother him later!"
Everyone laughed.
"So Professor, what brings you here?" Asked Clemont.
"Well I have been doing research and I found this about Greninja's powers" responded Professor Sycamore.
This intrigued everyone. Professor Sycamore took out his screen which contained all the information. "I was looking at this manuscript and found this. Here, look"
Professor Sycamore then placed the tablet on the table in the center. Everyone leaned in close.
"It's called the Bond Phenomenon" continued the Professor.
"Bond Phenomenon?" Asked Ash.
"It's a rare phenomenon that happens between Trainer and Pokemon. When the bond and trust between them grows. It appears that the Pokemon's latent skills are a major factor. So that means it can't happen to every Pokemon" explained Professor Sycamore.
"That means that Greninja is special?" Asked Dawn.
Professor Sycamore nodded. "Remember that Greninja chose you, Ash. So maybe your meeting was meant to be…"
Squishy, who usually hid in Bonnie's bag was listening very intently to the conversation.

In the stadium, Lysandre and his assistant were being shown to the room where he would watch the finals.
"What do you think Lysandre?" Asked the league rep. "We will be more than happy to provide this room for you to see the finals later this afternoon"
"I appreciate you arranging this so quickly. Thank you" said Lysandre.
The league rep smiled. "It is not problem at all. It is an honor to have such an elite resident of Kalos here to watch our event!"
With that, the league rep left the room. As he was walking out, Lysandre's assistant received a call on his Holo Caster.
The assistant handed the Holo Caster over to Lysandre who picked it up. It was Xerosic. "Lysandre, we have successfully taken over central Lumiose City. The gym is closed for the duration of the League so it was easy"
"Are all preparations complete?"
The scientist grinned. "All ready to go"
"Good…"
Lysandre then ended the call and turned to look out the window towards the battlefield. "What is Mairin doing right now?"
"She has made contact with Ash Ketchum"
This caused Lysandre to smile. "Oh, that's Greninja Trainer. Good..."

Inside the Lumiose Gym, Xerosic was looking around, making sure that everything was in perfect condition. He then approached the machine which contained another Squishy or Zygarde core inside. He walked up to it and then laughed.
Xerosic then looked at the other machines which container the other Zygarde cells. He then laughed loudly again.

Dawn along with Piplup, Serena and Bonnie were walking outside with Mairin as they walked to make sure Mairin was safe when she was walking back to the hotel where she and Lysandre were staying at.
"Thank you guys so much for walking me. I think I'll be okay from here!" Said Mairin.
"Stay with us please? We want to talk with you more!" Exclaimed Bonnie.
Serena nodded and Dawn responded, "Yeah!"
Mairin smiled but shook her head. "But Lysandre is waiting for me. I also don't want to run into Alain. " Mairin then turned to Chespin and patted it in its head. "You're so sweet. I'm so glad I met you!"
Chespin then smiled and jumped around which caused it to slip and fall. Piplup walked over to its side and helping it up but not without a snarky comment.
"You are a little different from my Chespie" said Mairin which her eyes starting to water. "You act kind of silly, kind of like me…"
Dawn then reached down and her hand on Mairin's shoulder. "No need to worry, Chespie will be okay. If you ever need anything just let us know!"
"Piplup-Pip!"
Serena and Bonnie nodded.
"We will do whatever we can to help!" Said Serena.
"For sure!" Exclaimed Bonnie.
"There's no need to worry! I'm sure Chespie will be better soon!" Said Dawn.
Mairin with a new energy said. "You're right Dawn! Chespie is going to be fine! It will get well soon!"
Bonnie then picked up Chespin. "When it's better, you should bring Chespie over so it can play with Chespin!"
"Ches!" Chespin said in agreement.
Mairin smiled. "I will. Thanks so much guys! I'll see you later! This was really fun!" With that, Mairin ran up the stairs to enter the building.
As Dawn, Serena and Bonnie were walking back to the Pokemon Center, Squishy poked his head out and looked towards Prism Tower. It couldn't help but be worried that its other half had not responded in a long time.

It was only about 2 pm, meaning that the battle was going to start in 1 hour. Ash went off on his own to do some last time touch up before the battle. He then lined up all of his Pokemon and stood in front of them.
"In one hour, we will be going up against Alain" Ash paused. "We want to win and I know we can do it!" Ash scanned and looked at all of his Pokemon's faces. They were each filled with determination. "We have been through so much together, and no matter what happens tomorrow, I want you guys to know how proud I am of each one of you. Now let's go win the Kalos League!"
His Pokemon cheered loudly.

Alain was in front of the stadium, watching his Charizard fly freely above them. Charizard then landed right in front of him. Alain then began to pet his partner and smiled. "We are about to battle Ash. I can't wait. I don't really know why but that's how I feel."
Charizard then huffed in agreement.
Alain then looked down at his Holo Caster. "Look Charizard"
A graph came up, showing a line that was able to cross the another line labelled 'target'
"We are almost there. Very soon. We will have enough."
Suddenly, Alain and his Charizard heard someone walking up. When they turned, they saw Professor Sycamore.
"Got a second? I want to catch up" said the Professor. Professor Sycamore then turned Charizard. "Wow! You look so strong!". He then started to pet right under Charizard's chin and Charizard cooed, showing that it felt good.
Professor Sycamore then turned to Alain. "There's a lot I want to tell you but now the words escape me…"
"Are you angry I didn't come back?" Asked Alain.
"Of course not. I heard you have been working with Lysandre on his work"
Alain nodded. "I have been. I didn't want to put you in any kind of danger"
This comment surprised Professor Sycamore.
"They say there is great value in the energy that is made during Mega Evolution. But there are people who will use that power for evil…"
"You did that, so you could protect me?" Asked the professor.
"And I can't return" continued Alain. "I've sacfriced too much after I left for my journey. Until I can get them back, I have to become much stronger"
Professor Sycamore smiled. "You do whatever you need to do"

As they were lined up in front of Ash, Pikachu heard someone coming. When the figure came into the light, it was revealed to be Lysandre who was heading straight towards Ash.
"Hi there. You must be Ash"
Ash nodded. "That's me. Who are you?"
"Lysandre. It's great to finally meet you."
Ash smiled and turned to face the man. "Mairin mentioned you. You're taking care of Chespie right?"
Lysandre nodded. "I see you know Mairin"
"Yeah, we were just with her, she left for her hotel with Dawn, Serena and Bonnie"
"Dawn is the one with blue hair and a Piplup right? She's a Top Coordinator"
Ash looked at Lysandre confused. "That's right but how do you know Dawn?"
Lysandre grinned. "You and your Greninja are the talk of the Kalos League, I'm a big fan"
"Oh" said Ash, not really thinking too much of it. "Is it about the Bond Phenomenon?"
"The Bond Phenomenon?" Said Lysandre.
Ash nodded. "That's right" Ash turned to face Greninja. "Professor Sycamore did some research. So it that it?"
"Such power…" Lysandre started to talk with a new tone. "It is sure to be a guiding light the brings a new world. Mega Evolution. I"m very interested by it. I'd love to hear about your story in further detail once the League is over. Can you promise me that we will meet?"
"Sure" responded Ash.
"Great, until then, I wish you the best of luck in the finals!"
Ash thanked him as Lysandre walked away. He didn't really know what to think about that conversation. Pikachu then jumped on his shoulder with the same expression. "It was weird how much he knew about Dawn…" commented Ash.

Lysandre was walking back to his hotel. When he was right in front of Prism Tower, he looked at it and grinned and then made his way back to the hotel.
Waiting for him there was Mairin and his assistant.
"Lysandre!" Exclaimed Mairin.
"I have great news Mairin. Everything will be better by tonight, that includes Chespie"
Mairin's eyes lit upon hearing his.
Lysandre continued. "And it's all because of the Mega Evolution energy Alain was been collecting"
"Thank goodness" Mairin couldn't help but cry. "I'm so relieved"

It was now time for Ash to part from his friends as his match was starting soon. Ash turned to face each person as they wished him the best.
"Good luck Ash" said Serena.
"You'll do great!" Said Sawyer.
"Lots of luck!" Exclaimed Shauna.
"Yeah!" Said Trevor.
Tierno danced around. "This is your good luck dance!"
Everyone laughed.
"Best wishes!" Exclaimed Bonnie.
"Wishing you the best of luck Ash" said Clemont.
Finally, Ash turned to Dawn. They looked at each other, there was silence but it wasn't awkward.
"Go out there and win" said Dawn.
"No need to worry, I won't let you down Dawn"
Then the two high-fived then they held each others hands. Dawn gave Ash a kiss on the cheek. "You will never let me down" she said as she squeezed his hands slightly.
"Thank you Dawn" Then he turned to face everyone else. "And thank you guys"
"You should get going" said Dawn.
Ash nodded and he let go of one of Dawn's hands so he could turn around and then the other as he ran off. Each extending their arms towards the other so they could touch for the longest time possible.

The stadium was filled from top to bottom with people. There was not one empty seat.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for the Kalos League Finals!"
The crowd roared with excitement. There was so much talk about this battle and everyone was eager to see all the action that would be in store.
All of Ash's friends took their seats in the stands. Squishy was even out as it was curious to see what this battle had in store.
Mairin was in the room with Lysandre. She couldn't wait to watch the battle between her two friends.
Team Rocket and Malva were in the stands, ready to document and broadcast the whole battle.
Professor Sycamore and the Kalos Champion Diantha were also in their viewing area, eager for the battle to start.
Ash and Alain were starting to make their way onto the battlefield. Each one had determination on their faces.
Both trainers were in the tunnel walking towards their places. The crowd roared even louder. While Ash was walking up, he was holding Dawn's ribbons tightly in his hand. Once he reached his place, Ash looked at the ribbon and smiled. He then pinned it right onto top of his heart and was ready for the battle to begin.
It's finally time. Alain is strong but no need to worry, as long as we give it our all, I know we can do it.
Alain was so excited to battle Ash. He looked at Ash which made him even more focused.
I've been looking forward for this battle with Ash for so long. But I'm going to give 110% into this battle
The battlefield rose from the ground and it was revealed to be a water and rock field.
The referee came onto the battlefield and lifted his arm into the air. "The Kalos League finals between Ash and Alain is about to begin! When all of either side's Pokemon are unable to continue, the battle will be over. In addition, when three of one side's Pokemon are unable to continue, the battlefield will change. Now bring out your Pokemon!"
"Pikachu, I choose you!"
"Tyranitar, let's go!"
When the Armor Pokemon was released, the battlefield was covered in a sand storm due to Tyranitar's ability, Sandstream.
"Battle Begin!"
Alain launched the first attack, calling for a Dark Pulse. Pikachu was able to dodge the attack by using a rock for cover. The rock broke into many pieces which landed all over the battlefield, including in the water. This sparked an idea in Ash's head.
"Use Iron Tail on the water!"
Pikachu did just that. Using the attack like that caused the water to rise and cancel out the sandstorm and also got Tyranitar soaking wet.
"Follow it up with Thunderbolt!"
Tyranitar couldn't move in time to dodge. Because its skin was wet, the attack was much stronger than if its skin was dry.
"I'm impressed Ash…"
Ash smirked. "And we are just warming up, use Electro Ball!"
Pikachu jumped into the air and unreleased the attack. In order to counter that, Alain commanded Tyranitar to use Stone Edge. Stones emerged from the ground and blocked Pikachu's moves.
"Hit it with your tail!" Yelled Alain.
Tyranitar then hit the stones with its tail which caused lots of pieces to be sent towards Pikachu. After hearing Ash's commands, Pikachu used Iron Tail to send the rock pieces right back towards Tyranitar.
"Use Crunch!"
Tyranitar charged towards Pikachu as its fangs grew.
"Use Iron Tail!"
Pikachu quickly turned around and jumped into the air to get more power. Tyranitar was able to catch the Iron Tail in its mouth before throwing Pikachu into the air.
"Electro Ball!"
As it was being tossed into the air, Pikachu was able to turn around and launched the attack, making direct contact with Tyranitar. Tyranitar had taken too many hits and fainted.
The referee raised his hand in the air. "Tyranitar is unable to battle, Pikachu is the winner!"
Alain smirked as he returned his Pokemon and thanked it for a great battle.
…
"Yes!" Said Dawn as she fist-pumped Piplup. "Way to start off strong!"
"Alright!" Said Bonnie and Serena as they clasped hands.
"That was a quick victory!" said Tierno.
Clemont was shaking from his excitement. "5 more wins and he's the Champion!"
…
"Pika-pi!" Pikachu yelled as it ran back towards its trainer.
Ash leaned down and petted his partner on his head. "You were great buddy, why don't you rest up for a little?"
Pikachu nodded in agreement as moved to stand next to his partner.
"Noivern, I choose you!"
Alain was smiling, he was already having a great time.
"Let's go Weavile!"
The two Pokemon stood at either side, waiting for their trainer's commands. Ash started things off this time, instructing Noivern to use Supersonic.
"Use Protect!"
Weavile created a shield all around so it took no damage from Noivern's attack which created lots of smoke. Using the smoke as cover, Alain commanded Weavile to use Night Slash. Noivern had no time to react because of Weavile's speed and because it was covered by the smoke so it was thrown towards one of the rocks.
"Use Supersonic!"
Quickly reacting, Noivern unleashed the attack which also caused Weavile to be thrown to the rocks across from it. Weavile was able to land on a ledge on the massive rock.
"Now, use Dragon Claw!"
"Use Double Team!"
Before Noivern could launch the attack, there were tens of Weaviles scattered all throughout the battlefield.
"Use Supersonic and find the real one!"
Noivern did just that. It was able to use its excellent hearing to differentiate which were copies and which one was real. Just as Noivern flying into Weavile to land the Dragon Claw, Alain called for an Ice Beam. Not having any time to react, Noivern was hit with the super effective move and landed in the water.
"Use Night Slash!"
Weavile jumped from the rock and ran cross the entirety of the river which was on the battlefield, ultimately making a direct hit with Noivern, throwing it up in the air. When it landed, it was shown to be unable to battle.
Ash quickly ran out onto the battlefield to make sure that Noivern was okay. Once he did this, Hawlucha also came out to make sure Noivern was okay.
"Haw-Hawlucha?"
"Noi"
Hawlucha then placed its hand on Noivern's wing. "Haw!"
Ash then returned Noivern and thanked it for a great battle. He then turned his attention to Hawlucha. "It's all yours"
"Hawlucha!" It said flexing its muscles.
…
"Okay, we should go over there to get the next shot!" Said Malva as she ran off.
Jessie, James and Meowth walked slowly behind as they talked.
"It looked like the twerp was going to have a head start" said Jessie.
Meowth nodded. "But the other twerp beat him quick"
"Are you guys coming?" Yelled Malva.
The trio shruggishly sighed as they hurried to catch up to their boss.
…
"Hawlucha, let's go!" Yelled Ash.
Hawlucha yelled in return, it was more fired up because it wanted to avenge Noivern.
"Use Karate Chop!"
Halwucha flew in close and was trying to land the attack. Weavile, using its excellent speed was easily able to dodge the attacks. The attack and dodging of each Pokemon led them to the river. Alain saw this as an opportunity to try and slip up Hawlucha.
"Use Ice Beam by Hawlucha's feet!"
This caused the water to freeze and make it harder for Hawlucha to find good footing.
"Following it up with Night Slash!"
Weavile used the ice to build up speed.
"Spin and then use Karate Chop!"
Hawlucha was able to fly towards Weavile and just as Weavile was going to hit it with Night Slash, Hawlucha spun around it. Once it was behind, Hawlucha was able to get in behind and hit Weavile with the super effective move. Not being able to handle the damage from the battle wit Noivern and the super effective move, Weavile fainted.
…
"Oh wow! I've never seen that before!" Said Sawyer.
Dawn smiled. "It was a strategy I came up with back in Sinnoh for my contests. Ash ended up using it and really taking it to the next level!"
"It uses the differences in air pressures so the faster and opponent moves, the better it works!" Said Clemont.
Dawn nodded.
"That's so cool Dawn!" Exclaimed Bonnie.
Dawn giggled. "Thanks but Ash was the one that perfected it. I didn't think he remembered that move but that boy is full of surprises!"

Back on the battlefield, both Ash and Alain were having such a great time.
"Wow Ash, I've never seen anyone use a move like that before!" Said Alain as he returned his Pokemon
Ash grabbed onto the ribbon as he spoke, "I learned it from someone special…"

Lysandre was carefully watching the battle. "Ash has some fine Pokemon, doesn't he?"
Mairin was right up against the window. "Come on Alain, you can do it!"
Mairin was so focused on the battle, that she didn't notice the exchange happening behind her. Lysandre noticed that Ash was grabbing onto the ribbon on his chest so he called over his assistant. "Do we have eyes on the girl?" He whispered.
The assistant nodded.
"Good…"

"Time for my next Pokemon, Bisharp, let's go!"
Hawlucha was ready for this battle.
"Thunderwave!" Yelled Alain.
Hawlucha was hit with the super effective move and it took a considerable amount of damage. While Hawlucha was struggling to get up, Alain instructed Bisharp to use Guillotine. The two moves collided and each Pokemon landed on the other side of the river.
"High Jump Kick!"
Hawlucha then jumped and went to land the powerful attack. Just in time, Bisharp was able to dodge the attack, causing Hawlucha to take damage.
"Use Guillotine!"
"Dodge it!"
Hawlucha tried to dodge, but it had taken so much damage and didn't have enough energy. Bisharp charged at it and landed the attack, causing Hawlucha to faint.
Each trainer returned their Pokemon and thanked it for a job well done.
Alain looked at Ash and smiled.
I can't remember the last time I had this much fun. Being here and battling with Ash, it lets me forget everything else.
Alain then reached for his next Pokeball and threw it onto the battlefield. "Unfezant, let's go!"
"Talonflame, I choose you!"
The two regional bird Pokemon flew right at each before making a sharp 90 degree turn upwards, inches apart from one and other. They both raced to the sky, neck and neck, seeing who is the faster Pokemon. They then turned back around and raced back down towards the battlefield.
Each trainer instructed their Pokemon to use Steel Wing. They were both moving at lighting fast speeds that it was hard to see them with the naked eye. Both bird collided against each other and a huge explosion of smoke was created. The bird Pokemon both flew out of the explosion, right next to one and other.
"Use Flame Charge!"
Talonflame's body began to be light on fire and using Flame Charge, it was able to outspend the other regional bird.
"Use Sky Attack!" Yelled Alain.
Unfezant's body began to glow and sparkle in orange and red color. It caught up to Talonflame and the two Pokemon began to clash multiple times in the air. They were moving so fast that the only thing that was visible was the fire and glow of each bird. Once again, the Pokemon collided head to head and smoke was made.
"Air slash!"
Unfezant and Talonflame came out of the explosion once again, each following the other. The zoomed up to the sky until Unfezant fell back slightly and then launched the attack. Talonflame was able to dodge most of them but Unfezant kept on sending the attack. Talonflame couldn't dodge them all and was it which caused it to fall back towards the ground. It was able to catch itself before hitting the ground.
"Use Flame Charge!"
Talonflame's body was on fire once again and it sped towards Unfezant. Unfezant tried its best to dodge but was no match to Talonflame's boosted speed.
"Use Sky Attack!"
"Brave Bird, let's go!"
The Pokemon flew around each other before making another head to head collision in the middle of the battlefield. This explosion was much more powerful than the last two. Both birds fell to the ground, indicating that it was a double knockout.
Each side only had three Pokemon remaining meaning that the battlefield was going to change.

"Its completely tied now with each side only having three Pokemon…" said Clemont.
Dawn stood up "Come on Ash, I know you can do it!"
Everyone else followed Dawn's lead and stood up to cheer on Ash even louder, hoping that he could hear them.
…
"Only three Pokemon left…" said Ash. He then turned around as he could vaguely hear the voices of his friends cheering him on. "I'm not going to let Dawn and the others down!" The battle was going by so fast for him, he was having an amazing time. "Hey Alain! Let's have fun until the very end!"
Alain looked at his opponent, gave him a smile and nodded.
Seeing his expression makes me want to battle with everything I've got! This is why I was so focused on battling him.

Mairin was closely watching her friend from the viewing area. "Look at that, he's smiling, I've never seen that before!"
In the background, Lysandre was on his Holo Caster. Smirking at the news he had just gotten, he leaned back into his chair. "The final's climax is about to happen and everyone and I mean everybody will be watching…"

The new battlefield was ready to be used. It was a grassy terrain and the second half of the final battle could now start.
"Pikachu, I choose you!"
Pikachu jumped off the platform it was standing on before and onto the battlefield, ready to take on its next opponent.
"Metagross, let's go!"
Ash called the first move which was Thunderbolt, Pikachu jumped into the air and as the attack was coming towards Metagross, it listened to Alain's commands and used Agility to dodge the attack.
"Pikachu, move around!"
Pikachu then took off but because of Agility, Metagross was able to outspeed Pikachu. Metagross circled Pikachu so it couldn't move.
"Use Metal Claw!"
With Metagross being so close, Pikachu couldn't dodge causing Pikachu to fly backward.
"Follow it up with Rock Slide!"
Pikachu was feeling the damage it had taken from this battle plus its battle with Tyranitar. Because of this, it wasn't able to dodge the attack.
Recognizing this, Ash knew that Pikachu needed to counter. "Spin and use Thunderbolt!"
Knowing exactly what to do, Pikachu created an electric counter shield. This was able to destroy the rocks that were coming it while so causing damage to Metagross.
Alain was not expecting this but he knew that if this kept up, Metagross would be through. "Use Meteor Smash!"
Metagross was able to fight of the constant Thunderbolts to launched the attack. Pikachu didn't have enough time to react because of the spinning and was hit with the attack, causing it to be thrown to the ground.
Even though it had taken severe damage, Pikachu was not about to give up. It still had more fighting power.
"Finish this with Meteor Smash!"
"You can do it Pikachu! Use Electro Ball!"
As Metagross was charging up its attack, Pikachu quickly launched the powerful electric attack, making direct contact with Metagross.
"Jump on Metagross!"
Pikachu did as it was told. Alain knew that he couldn't have Pikachu on there so he told Metagross to shake Pikachu off. Pikachu wouldn't come off so easily though. Ash commanded Pikachu to use Thunderbolt. With Pikachu on its back, Metagross had no room to escape so it endured the powerful attack.
Pikachu kept the attack going for as long as it could. Alain knew that this couldn't keep on going. "Come on Metagross!"
Upon hearing these words, Metagross had a new found determination and was able to shake Pikachu off of it, launching Pikachu into the air.
"Use Iron Tail!"
Coming from the air, Pikachu was able to build up lots more momentum and speed to believe the final blow, right on top of Metagross's head. This proved to be too much for the Iron Leg Pokemon as it was unable to battle.
Pikachu landed and was very out of breath.

"Talk about a surprise!" Said the Champion.
Professor Sycamore nodded in agreement "This is shaping up to be an amazing battle!"

In another section of the stadium, Team Rocket was carefully watching the battle.
"Yes!" Yelled James.
Jessie and Meowth both looked at him with looks of confusion, wondering why James was cheering on the twerp.
Realizing this, James quickly raised his hands up in defense. "If it doesn't matter who wins because we are stealing all of their Pokemon, then I'm simply cheering for the twerp!" He then laughed awkwardly, preparing for the worst.

Ash called Pikachu to come back and take a rest. Pikachu nodded as it ran back towards his partner's side.
"Goodra, I choose you!"
"Bisharp, let's go!"
Ash wanted to strike first. "Use Rain Dance!"
Goodra followed Ash's commands. Suddenly, clouds formed overtop the battlefield and it started to rain heavily.
"Use Iron Head!"
Bisharp then ran up to Goodra but Goodra was able to catch the attack with the antenna-like structures on its head. Goodra then threw Bisharp into the air.
"Use Dragon Pulse!" yelled Ash.
In order to counter the attack, Alain called for a Focus Blast. The two attacks collided the air and there was a huge explosion of smoke. Each Pokemon came out the the explosion with little damage.
"Iron Head, let's go!"
"Use Bide!"
Following Ash's commands, Goodra endured the hit. Bisharp then launched a Focus Blast and Goodra took the hit as well. Goodra was going to take as many hits until Ash told it not to, he came back and was going to get a win for Ash.
"Go around it, then Iron Head!"
Bisharp then started to run around and around Goodra. Goodra had a hard time keep track of it and because of this, it got hit with the attack.
"Use Bide!"
Goodra quickly turned around and unleashed all the stored energy from Bide towards Bisharp. This resulted in Bisharp taken lots of damage which was evident because Bisharp fell to its knee.
"Use Iron Head!"
Bisharp quickly got up and rushed towards Goodra, hitting Goodra right under its neck. Goodra was really starting to feel all of Bisharp's attacks and it fell to its knees after Bisharp landed the attack.
"Use Guillotine!"
"Come on Goodra, use Dragon Pulse!"
Goodra was really struggling, it used the last of its energy to unleash the powerful Dragon Pulse. Using Guillotine, Bisharp was able to cut through the attack and land a crucial hit on Goodra. Not being able to handle all the attacks, Goodra went down.
The referee raised his arm. "Goodra is unable to battle, Bisharp wins!"

All of Ash's friends had looks of worry on their face.
Bonnie sighed. "I feel so bad for Goodra!"
"No need to worry, Ash still has Pikachu and Greninja left, there is no way he'll lose this. I can see it in his eyes!" Said Dawn.
"What do you mean?" Asked Clemont.
Dawn smiled. "You can see the fire in his eyes. When Ash gets that look on his face, watch out, there's nothing stopping him"

Ash looked down at his partner, "Pikachu, are you ready to get back in there?"
Pikachu nodded as it jumped onto the battlefield.
Ash knew that Pikachu was very worn out, so he wanted to make the first move. "Use Electro Ball!"
"Use Guillotine!"
Just like Bisharp did with Goodra, it cut through the Electro Ball and was making its way towards Pikachu.
"Spin buddy and then Iron Tail! "
Pikachu nodded and spun around Bisharp, avoiding the attack. This allowed for Pikachu to get in behind Bisharp to deliver the final blow. Pikachu threw Bisharp to the ground, causing it to faint.
"Bisharp is unable to battle, Pikachu wins!"

"Come on, Alain, you can do it!" Said Mairin from the viewing area.
Lysandre's assistant came up behind him and whispered, "The plan is all set" into his ear.
This made Lysandre grin with joy. "Excellent…"
…
Alain was having the time of his life, it didn't matter that he was losing because he was having so much fun. Alain reached for his last Pokeball and unleashed his partner.
Ash smiled and looked at his partner. "Its not going to be easy, but you can do it buddy!"
"Pika!"
"Use Quick Attack!" Yelled Ash.
Using its incredible speed, Pikachu was able to make direct contact with Charizard in its stomach.
"Follow it up with Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu jumped into the air and launched infamous attack made hit Charizard also. Even though it was hit with two powerful moves, Charizard was still standing.
When Pikachu was falling back towards the ground, Ash called for a Quick Attack. Pikachu landed and struggled to get up, showing how much damage it had taken from its previous two battles.
"Flamethrower!"
Charizard launches its signature move and because of all the damage Pikachu had taken, it was unable to dodge the attack. Pikachu was lying on the ground, clearly struggling to get up.
"Pikachu!" Screamed Ash. "I know you can do it buddy. We have been through so much together, come on Pikachu!"
Pikachu was able to hear out and clear everything that Ash was saying. Pikachu wasn't going to let Ash down now. It stood up and was willing to give it his all.
"Flamethrower once again Charizard!"
Charizard launched the attack again.
"Use Iron Tail on the ground!"
This time, Pikachu was not going to allow itself to get hit. It followed Ash's command and the dirt and debris from Pikachu's Iron Tail blocked out the Flamethrower and it also provided Pikachu with some cover.
"Use Dragon Claw!"
"Iron Tail!"
Pikachu jumped into the air and the Pokemon collided with in the air. Ultimately, Charizard was able to overpower Pikachu and threw it to the ground.
"PIKACHU!" Screamed Ash.
Ash looked to see if his partner was still able to battle. Pikachu was on its back feet but then fell over, signaling that it had fainted. Ash ran over to Pikachu's side and picked it up.
"Pika-pi…"
Ash shook its head and he walked back to his platform. "Pikachu, you were amazing out there. I couldn't have asked more from you" Once reaching the platform, he set Pikachu down and reached for his last Pokemon. "There's no need to worry buddy. We got this!"

"Pikachu did so well!" Exclaimed Shauna.
Dawn nodded. "Ash and Pikachu have been through everything together, this means just as much to Pikachu as it does to Ash!"
"Each side is down to their last Pokemon, it's going to be a great battle!" Said Clemont.

"Pikachu…" said James.
"NO ONE TAKES DOWN OUR PIKACHU AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" Yelled Jessie.
This caused Malva to look over to which Team Rocket had to play it off.
"The twerp still has his Greninja with the weird transformation left though" said Meowth.
Jessie grunted "He better win…"

Ash grabbed his last pokeball, looked at it and grabbed onto Dawn's ribbon. "I'm counting on you" He then threw it in the air. "Greninja, I choose you!"
"Let's give them 100 %, get going Greninja!"
Greninja then ran off towards Charizard, showing no signs for fear.
"Use Flamethrower!"
"Dodge it!"
Greninja spun around the Flamethrower just like Pikachu and Hawlucha did
"Water Shuriken!" Ash wanted to take advantage of Goodra's Rain Dance for as long as he could. Because Greninja was so close, Charizard was hit with the super-effective move that was boosted by the rain. Charizard felt that but it wasn't enough to do visible damage.
The rain started to clear up, meaning the end of Greninja's water attacks because boosted. Ash looked at Alain and Charizard. Ash then grabbed the ribbon once again.
Alain I- no, we are not going to lose this! My Pokemon and I have worked so hard for this!
"Greninja!"
The two started to mirror each other's actions and a water tornado formed around Greninja. Then the water tornado changed into a Water Shuriken on Greninja's back and the transformation was complete.

The transformation got everyone on the edge of their seats.
"It's Ash-Greninja!" Yelled Bonnie, showing how excited she was.
In the viewing gallery, Mairin and Lysandre both leaned in closer. This was the part that Lysandre came to see after all.
Team Rocket was cheering for joy when they saw the transformation happen.

Alain looked across the battlefield and could see the fire and determination in Ash and Greninja's eyes.
Thanks Ash, I was waiting for you to give me this battle. Now, lift me to an even higher level of battling. This is it.
Alain then lifted up his arm and touched his Keystone.
"Respond to my heart Keystone,"
The stone started to glow and let off a light that started to cover Charizard.
"Beyond Evolution, Mega Evolve!"
Charizard's Mega Stone glowed and the light fro the Keystone completely covered Charizard. Once it had disappeared, the evolution was complete and Mega Charizard X was ready to go.
Now the real battle was beginning and everyone knew it.
"Use Double Team!"
Greninja started to run towards Charizard as it made multiple copies of itself. Charizard followed Alain's instructions and used Flamethrower to get rid of the copies. Doing this, resulting in an explosion of smoke to be created which allowed Greninja to have some cover for his Water Shuriken. Because Charizard didn't know where Greninja was, it could dodge and took the attack.
"Use Dragon Claw!"
"Aerial Ace!"
The two powerful Pokemon charged at each other and clashed back and forth with each other's moves. Either side no giving and inch. Charizard was ultimately able to hit Greninja right on its neck which caused it to be sent flying backward.
"Flamethrower, let's go!"
Ash grunted as he felt Greninja's pain. "Use Cut!"
Greninja stood and use the attack to block the powerful blue Flamethrower. It was able to take no damage because of this.
"Now, Blast Burn!"
"Use Water Shuriken on the ground!"
Charizard dove to the ground and released the attack which caused the ground to break apart. Greninja mirrored this action but instead with its Water Shuriken attack. The fire and water attacks met in the middle and caused a huge explosion that completely covered the entire battlefield.
"Aerial Ace!"
Greninja used the mist that was created from the attack to hide itself and using its incredible speed, it was able to hit a critical hit right on top of Charizard's head, throwing it to the ground.
The two opponents just stood at either side, looking at each other for a few moments.
Thank you Ash. It's because of you that I'm having so much fun. It's because of you that I'm having the most fun I've had in a long time. I'm grateful to you for letting me feel this way. However, I have to be the strongest one.
Alain the squeezed his hands into fists. "I can't lose to anyone ever again! Charizard, use Dragon Claw!"
Not having time to dodge, Greninja embraced itself for the attack which launched it back closer to its trainer. Ash grunted as he felt how strong that attack was.
Ash and Greninja were not about to give up. Greninja stood as Ash readjusted his cap.
I'm having such an awesome time battling such a strong trainer like you Alain. But I've been through too much.
Ash then grabbed onto Dawn's ribbon.
I have learned so much and people have supported me through everything.
"I'm not going to let them down!" Ash let go of Dawn's ribbon and pointed forward. "So look out for a full power attack, Greninja use Cut!"
Each Pokemon was giving it their all. Their moves clashed against each other and they were able to dodge the others attacks.
"Use Water Shuriken!"
"Thunder Punch, let's go!
The two powerhouse Pokemon charged at each other once again. Charizard was using both of its hands to use the attack and Greninja was skillfully using the Water Shuriken to block Charizard's punches. Greninja was able to hit Charizard right in the guts which caused it to be thrown backward.
"Ready for more? Use Water Shuriken!"
Greninja lifted the Water Shuriken it had previously made above its head. The Water Shuriken grew to an enormous size. Alain knew that he needed to act quick.
"Use Blast Burn!"
Greninja threw the gigantic Water Shuriken and the Blast Burn broke through the ground. Each attack was making its way to the other Pokemon. They were hit with the opposing attack at the same time. There was a massive explosion that covered the entire battlefield, Neither Ash nor Alain could be seen.
The crowd was on the edge of their seats, it was completely silent in the arena. No one expected it to be such a thrilling battle.
Dawn was standing up, not being able to contain herself.
'No need to worry' She thought
The smoke started to clear and each Pokemon was still standing. They looked at each other. Neither one moving an inch. Greninja fell to one knee as Charizard fell to the ground.
"CHARIZARD!" Screamed Alain as he ran to be by his partner's side.
"Charizard is unable to battle, Greninja wins! Ash is the Champion!"
The crowd roared in cheers at such an amazing battle.

"Poor Alain, he worked so hard…" said Mairin.
She then turned around to face Lysandre. "But it was such a great battle and he was having so much fun!"
Lysandre smiled at her. He was very pleased at the outcome of the battle.
…
Both Diantha and Professor Sycamore were standing up and clapping for the battle they just witnessed.
"What a thrilling battle! Each trainer should be proud of their achievements!" Said Diantha.
Professor Sycamore nodded. He was feeling very torn as he didn't know who he wanted to win the battle. However, seeing that amazing display skills and passion made him decide that he didn't care who won.

Team Rocket was cheering for joy.
"THE TWERP WON!" They all said in unison.
They then huddled into a small group. "Now if we steal his Pokemon, we'll have the Kalos League Champion's Pokemon!"
They all grinned until Malva yelled at them to get back to work.

"HE DID IT! ASH IS THE CHAMPION!" Yelled Bonnie as she and Serena were jumping up and down.
"That was an incredible battle!" Said Tierno.
Shauna nodded. "It was so much fun to watch!"
"He did so well!" Exclaimed Trevor.
"Ash worked so hard and it really payed off!" Said Sawyer.
Clemont nodded. "It was an amazing battle too!"
Dawn had the biggest smile on her face. "I'm so proud of him, he deserved this more than anything" She then looked at her partner. "He's not the same boy who's Pikachu we saved, right Piplup?"
"Pip!"

Ash stood there on the platform, not knowing what to do.
"W-What just happened?"
Greninja and Pikachu both stood in front of him.
"Did I win?"
They nodded and smiled brightly at Ash.
"I WON!" Yelled Ash as he gave the two Pokemon hugs. "Thank you guys so much! I couldn't have done it without you guys!"
Ash then let go and walked up to Alain who was with his Charizard.
"Alain, thank you for an amazing battle. I had so much fun!"
Alain looked down for a second, he took a deep breath and then looked up at Ash and smiled. "I had a lot of fun too…"
Alain then stood up and shook Ash's hand.

Ash was waiting for his friends in the break room just before the awarding ceremony. He was walking up when he felt a big hug from behind. He turned around and saw that it was Dawn and Piplup and the rest of the gang were following behind.
"I'm so proud of you! You were amazing out there!"
Ash returned the hug as everyone else caught up to the couple. "I couldn't have done it without you…"
Dawn smiled and the two released each other and high-fived.
"The Kalos League Champion… looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do!" Said Sawyer.
Ash smiled and then turned to Shauna, Trevor and Tierno, who were all congratulating him.
"You were awesome Ash…" said Serena.
Bonnie jumped up into the air. "All the boom and the bam and then everything was so cool!"
"It was an incredible battle to watch, I'm honored to call you my friend" said Clemont.
Ash smiled as all of his friends congratulated him. "Thank you guys for all of your support! It means a lot!"

Alain was in room that was only being lit by a small window. He was sitting down and holding Charizard's pokeball in his hand.
"I'm upset I lost…" he then paused and looked up. "But it didn't feel like I did. I proved myself to be a strong trainer and I had so much fun doing it" Alain then looked back down at the pokeball. "Both of us grew from that battle. Ash made it all possible. "
Alain put the pokeball away and stood up. "Let's go and gather a little more Mega Evolution energy. We are almost there…"

Back in the Lumiose Gym, Xerosic was making sure that everything was in check. The other Squishy was still stuck inside the machine and was feeling awfully scared for what is to come.
Xerosic turned around and said, "All preparations are complete, its time to begin…"
The Team Flare grunts went to the computers and clicked the button. Suddenly, a laser machine tilted towards the machine that housed the other Squishy. It then released a red laser at the machine.

Ash's friends were all heading back to their seats to watch the award ceremony.
"Hey guys, I'm going to run to the bathroom, you guys go on ahead!" Said Dawn.
The group nodded as they went back to their seats. Piplup stayed behind to wait for its trainer.
Dawn noticed this and said, "Piplup, go with them, I don't want you to miss any part of the ceremony!"
Piplup nodded and turned around and ran to catch up with the rest of the group.
"Now let's see, where is a bathroom?" Said Dawn as she looked around. She then said a sign which said there was a bathroom at the end of this hall.
"Perfect!"
Dawn then walked down the hallways which slowly got darker and darker. Suddenly, she felt a hand over her mouth and her hands were tied behind her back. Then, her eyesight was covered. It all happened so fast that Dawn couldn't react. She then felt a needle go into the side of her arm and she started to lose consciousness.
This can't be happening now. Please… no…

Ash stood on top of a pedestal as he reached down for his trophy that was being given to him by Diantha. He was still wearing Dawn's ribbon.
"Ash," she said "You have created a strong bond with your Pokemon and as a trainer, you have displayed your skills through a number of challenging battles" She then handed Ash his trophy.
"Thank you so much Diantha!" Said Ash. 'Alright, I just won the Kalos League!" Yelled Ash.
"Pi-Pikachu!" Yelled Pikachu as it always did.
"Ash…"
Ash then looked down and it was Alain. "Congratulations, you deserve it!" said Alain smiling. Ash smiled back.

"I'm so happy for Ash!" Said Mairin. "Of course I wanted Alain to win, but it was an amazing battle nonetheless! Hey Lysandre…" said Mairin as she started to turn around.
When she did, she saw that there was no one there. The room was completely empty and she was all alone.
"Where did Lysandre go?"

"Hey guys, Dawn's been gone awhile…" said Serena.
Everyone looked, they hadn't realized Dawn wasn't back yet.
Sawyer smiled at Serena. "I'm sure she just went down to meet Ash right after he finishes!"
"Pip…" Piplup didn't believe that, it knew that Dawn wouldn't leave it alone.
Suddenly, Squishy also felt that something was going to happen. It came out of Bonnie's bag to look around.

The laser was causing pain to the Zygarde core.
This is why humans… are so evil!
Xerosic then walked closer to the machine, feeling satisfied in his work. "Lysandre, our research is about to produce results!"
Lysandre just watched as the laser was shooting the machine. "Zygarde, the time has come, show me your power, do it now!"
The Zygarde core was certain on how it was feeling.
Humans are foolish! They must disappear! All human fools must disappear!
Then, the machine couldn't handle all the energy that the Zygarde core was producing. The machine broke and made a hole in PrismTower. The Zygarde core then ran outside of the Prism Tower and landed on one of its branches.
Lysandre and Xerosic followed the core as they watched the core call all of its cells.
Lysandre grinned. "The curtain is up and the spotlight is on my greatest work of all!"
The Zygarde core called all of the cells it could and transformed into Zygarde's 50% form. Large roots started to come out from Prism Tower and the ground, slowly starting to destroy all of Lumiose City.
Lysandre watched at the roots destroyed the city. "Everything and anything is about to be re-born, re-born into a new world!"

The roots reached the stadium and it started to break through the walls. Everyone was shocked and terrified as they saw the roots come closer and closer to them.
All of Ash's friends stood up. Squishy, seeing what was happening, jumped out of Bonnie's bag and started to run away.
"Squishy! Stop! Where are you going?" Yelled Bonnie as she chased after it.
"Bonnie! Come back!" Yelled her older brother as Serena followed him.

Ash and Alain were running through the tunnels that connected the battlefield to the rest of the stadium.
"Where is Mairin?" Asked Alain while they were running.
"She didn't want to get in your way, sorry she asked me not to tell you" said Ash.
Alain looked at the ground. "She's always overthinking these kind of things…"
As they were running, Ash asked, "In times like this I gotta ask, is Mairin important to you?"
Alain paused a little. He had never been asked that question. "Yeah…"
Ash turned back and smiled. "Then let's go find her. We'll help you look!"
Alain nodded and then said, "I'm sure you want to find Dawn right now too"
Ash nodded and the two hurried along until they were outside and saw that there were roots all over the city. "It's out here too!" Exclaimed Ash.
"Ash!"
Ash turned to see Piplup, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie running towards him. Piplup then quickly jumped into his arms, showing just how worried he was.
"Where's Dawn?" He immediately asked.
Everyone had a face of concern. "We don't know, last time we saw her, she was going to the bathroom right before the awarding ceremony…" said Clemont.
Ash had a face of horror. "No, this can't be happening now…" Ash fell to his knees as he remembered that Olympia's vision was. He looked down on the ground and punched it hard.
"I was supposed to protect her…"
Pikachu came down to his partners side and moved so that it could see Ash's eyes.
"I was supposed to save her…"
Ash then grabbed Dawn's ribbon as he turned up towards the sky and screamed, "WHERE ARE YOU DAWN?"
This was the longest chapter I have ever written, it was 29 pages and over 10,000 words! That's a lot! Anyways, Team Flare is starting to their plans and Dawn is missing! Lots more is in store for these next parts. Ash finally won the league! I remember when I first watched the Kalos League I was upset that he didn't win so I thought I would fix that! Pikachu absolutely killed it this league too! Anyways the Team Flare arc is about to begin and it is going to be crazy!
