"That fucking bitch..." Merida shook her head after Rapunzel got done telling her everything that happened with Ana. They were sitting on their beds across from each other. As much as Rapunzel loved being with Jack, she needed some girl time.
"Yeah", Rapunzel shrugged," But it's whatever. She got what was coming to her."
"What!" Merida yelled at her," You're seriously not going to get back at her?"
"What's the point?" Rapunzel leaned against the wall, crossing her legs on her bed," She got her punishment. And I know Jack doesn't like when I fight with her."
"Ooh", Merida smirked," I see..."
"What?" Rapunzel frowned.
"So he's controling what you do now?" Merida quirked an eyebrow.
"No!" Rapunzel yelled," That isn't what I said..."
"Well you would usually try to get back at her in the past", Merida told her.
"It's not about him controling me", Rapunzel sighed," It's about being mature about this whole situation. She got what was coming to her and there isn't a reason for me to. Maybe I'm just growing up."
Merida sighed and rolled her eyes," If you say so."
"Hows the Hiccup thing going?" Rapunzel mentioned, hoping to change subject.
"What do you mean?"
"Oh I don't know..." Rapunzel smiled," Him liking you, you liking him... You two being soulmates?"
"We're not soulmates", Merida scoffed," And I don't know... I don't think he likes me like that anymore."
"He does", Rapunzel assured her," Maybe... Ask him to the Winter Ball?"
"What!" Merida laughed loudly," No way! I can't do that."
"Why not? You're fearless Merida. You even intimidate Jack."
"True", Merida mulled it over," I don't know... I'll think about it. Speaking of Winter Ball, what are you going to do about it?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well... It's not like Jack can take you", Merida explained," So who are you going with?"
"Probably no one", Rapunzel shrugged," I wouldn't want to go with anyone else."
"So you're just going to just hangout by yourself? Not even dance with anyone or anything? It's your last year!"
Rapunzel thought it over... She really didn't want to go with anyone except Jack. And she didn't think he'd be okay if she went with anyone anyways. But after Merida claiming he controls her, she didn't want to tell her friend that.
"I don't know... We'll see", Rapunzel looked out the window.
"Boys are too complicated", Merida sighed.
"I agree", Rapunzel nodded.
"Rapunzel!"
Rapunzel turned towards the voice yelling at her and saw Nod jogging to catch up with her.
"Oh, hey Nod", she smiled at him as he walked next to her.
"Where have you been?" he looked at her.
"What do you mean?" she asked confused.
"I don't know", he shrugged," I feel like after the talent show you've kind of been MIA."
"Oh..." she recalled the talent show. The night Jack and her finally made love. She started to blush.
"I hope I didn't come on too strong", he told her," By kissing your cheek."
"Oh", she came back to reality," No, it's not that. I've just been really busy lately. It really has nothing to do with you."
"Phew", he smiled and Rapunzel couldn't help but notice what boyish charm he had. He defintely could be a heartbreaker, not that she was interested. She loved Jack, but Nod could probably have any girl he wanted.
"Hold up a second", Nod stopped Rapunzel and turned her to look at him," I wanted to uh- ask you something..."
"Okay?" Rapunzel chuckled softly," What's up?"
"So I uh- I know I'm just a junior, but uh- if no one has asked you..." he stuttered and looking at his feet.
"Would you like to go to the Winter Ball with me?" he said so fast Rapunzel almost missed what he said.
"Oh!" Rapunzel was shocked. She wasn't really expecting to be asked by anyone. But she didn't want to say no? He looked so hopeful.
"You don't have to", he shrugged, already backing off," I shouldn't have asked. I'm sorry."
He started to turn away, but she grabbed his sleeve," No, wait, Nod! I uh- I just wasn't sure if I was going at all, so can I give you an answer tomorrow?"
"Yeah! For sure", he smiled at her," I hope you say yes. And hopefully by then your knee will be better so you can dance."
She smiled at him as he waved goodbye and left. Great... Now I have to tell Jack...
"Hey love", Jack smiled at Rapunzel as she walked into his room. Classes were finally over and she was dying to see him.
She smiled at him and was about to say hi, but he quickly kissed her. She dropped her crutches and wrapped her arms around him. He picked her up and laid her on the bed.
"Jack", she laughed softly as he already had his hands under her shirt," Jack!"
"Mmmm?" he moaned, kissing her neck.
"Jack, I need to talk to you", she pushed him away so she could see him.
"Punz..." he whined," I haven't been able to touch you like this in days. I'm dying here."
"We can do that after", she laughed," I need to talk to you about Winter Ball."
"What about it?" he looked confused," It's not like we can go together?"
"I know", Rapunzel rolled her eyes," But I could go with someone..."
"Someone like Merida and Hiccup?" he raised an eyebrow.
"No", Rapunzel shook her head," Someone like Nod."
"No."
He got up from the bed and stood at the end of his bed. Rapunzel sat up to look at him.
"Jack..." Rapunzel sighed," It's just as friends."
"Absolutely not", he shook his head," I know what he thinks of you, what every boy at this school thinks of you, and it's not happening."
"Jack", Rapunzel said sternly," You are aware you don't control me, right?"
He put his hands on his hips and his nostrils failed. Although he was pissing her off, she still couldn't deny how sexy he was. He was wearing black slacks and a white button down shirt that had a few buttons undone, with the sleeves rolled up. His hair was sticking up everywhere.
"Yes", he hissed," I am aware I don't control you. However, you are my girl. I am risking everything I have to be with you. And I am not okay with you going with another guy. I know he likes you. You know he likes you and saying yes to attending the ball with him only encourages him to think he has a shot with you. And he doesn't."
"I know he doesn't", Rapunzel confirmed.
"He doesn't know that!" Jack yelled, pointing at his door.
"What if I make it abunduntly clear that we are just friends by telling him I'm seeing someone from back home? He knows I broke up with a guy I was very in love with awhile ago... I'll just say we got together, since we did", Rapunzel tried.
Jack sighed and ran a hand through his hair," You really want to go to this, don't you?"
Rapunzel nodded," Yes. I do."
He tapped his fingers against his hips and sighed again," Fine... As long as you make it clear to him that you are off limits, that you are taken, and you're very much in love with your boyfriend. And I want Merida there hearing all this, and you two will come back to me and tell me how it went. If she tells me he didn't by it, then the answer is no. Okay?"
Rapunzel thought it over... He could have thrown a bigger fit and they could have fought, but he's willing to meet her halfway.
"Okay", she nodded and then smiled at him. She held out her arms," Can you please join me now?"
He smirked at her and crawled back into bed next to her," Are you still to fragile to touch?"
"Only one way to find out", she smiled at him and kissed him. She curled herself into him on their sides. He put an arm behind her and pulled her closer to him. With his other hand he unbuttoned her jeans and slowly pulled them off of her. She kicked them to the side and wrapped her leg around his side. He rubbed his hand down her leg and cupped the back of her thigh. He broke their kiss to start kissing down her neck. He moved her leg off of him and traveled his hand up her thigh.
"Want me to touch you?"
She nodded frantically and kissed him again. He pulled down the panties she was wearing and threw them across the room. He dragged his fingers up her thigh again and slowly started to tease her entrance. He entered two fingers and started to suck on her collarbone. She could feel her pulse starting to race as he pushed them in and out, using his thumb to rub her sensitive spot.
"If you want us to go farther", he said between kisses," You need to come for me first."
He started to rub faster. It felt like her heart was going to beat out of her chest.
"I'm almost there", she moaned and he started to suck on her collarbone again.
"Jack!" she yelled out and grabbed onto him tightly. He kissed her deeply and went to pull her shirt over her head. He disposed of her bra quickly. This was the quickest he has ever undressed her.
"I've thought about this for days", he growled and quickly covered her breast with his mouth. She moaned and ran her hands through his hair as he started to massage her again.
"I need you Jack", she panted," Please."
He leaned back and looked down to her, making her squirm.
"You are exquisite", he smiled at her, unbuttoning his shirt. He was still fully dressed and Rapunzel sat up to unbutton his shirt. She pulled his shirt off of him and started to kiss his chest. Jack ran his hands through her hair as she unbuttoned his pants. He took them off with his boxers and laid down on top of her quickly.
"I'm sorry if I come too fast", he kissed her," It's been awhile."
Rapunzel kissed him again and gasped when he entered her. There was nothing gentle about him this time. He was roughly thrusting into her, holding onto her shoulders for more leverage.
"Wrap your legs around my waist", he moaned into her neck. She quickly did so and felt him go deeper.
"Oh Jack!" she yelled out as he kept thrusting.
"I'm about to come", he grunted. She felt them hitting against the headboard and then finally he stilled, quivering as his body relaxed. He laid on top of her and was breathing hard. He rest his forehead on top of hers. She could feel his sweat dripping down her forehead, his hair hanging down.
"I love you so much", he looked into her eyes.
"I love you too, Jack", she kissed him softly.
He thrusted gently into her, making her moan.
"Sore?" he smirked. She shook her head quickly and he chuckled. He did it again and made her moan.
"This is why you're mine", he told her, staring into her eyes," Not Nod's. Not anyones. Mine. Forever."
"Good night with Frosty?" Merida bumped Rapunzel's shoulder at breakfast.
"What makes you say that?" Rapunzel laughed, eating her bagel.
"Oh, I don't know... That goofy smile on your face? Your cheeks are pink? Or the hickeys on your collar bone?" Merida smirked.
"What!" Rapunzel looked down. She swore they were covered this morning," Are they noticable?"
"Only sort of really", Merida laughed.
"How am I going to say yes to Nod when I have hickeys covering me", Rapunzel frowned and closed her sweater around her.
"Say yes to Nod about what?" Merida asked confused.
"Oh! He asked me to the Winter Ball", Rapunzel smiled. She was looking forward to going with him, and she didn't intend for it to be anything other than just two platonic friends having a good time together. It was her last year, and she felt that being with Jack, as much as she loved him, she was missing out on some things. She couldn't even remember the last time they had a band practice or the last time she painted. Maybe she needed to take a step back and make more time for the things she really enjoyed doing.
The more she thought about it, the more she felt disappointed with herself for letting herself lose sight of her goals. She wasn't focusing during cheering, she was losing track of her hobbies... How was this going to look on her college application? Speaking of college, she really did want to go to New York, but how could she leave Jack? She would never give up her dreams for someone, but traveling back and forth to see each other, especially with him being a teacher during the school year, is going to make it more challenging. She couldn't just visit him here either without her previous professors wondering why she is dating one right after graduating...
"Frosty doesn't mind you going with someone else?" Merida interupted her thoughts.
"What? Uh- no. I brought it up with him last night", Rapunzel told her.
"And what?" Merida laughed," He didn't care?"
"Well I wouldn't say that", Rapunzel rolled her eyes," But I told him we are just friends and I would make sure that is very clear to Nod. I wasn't willing to push my luck."
"Well good luck to you..." Merida muttered.
"Hey Nod!" Rapunzel yelled out to him. He was in the courtyard reading on a bench. She couldn't help but notice how serene he looked. He was wearing a really nice blue pea coat with a black scarf wrapped around his neck. His dark brown hair blowing around with the cold wind. He looked up to her and smiled.
"Hey Punz", he greeted her as she sat down next to him," How's it going?"
"I'm good", she smiled," And I wanted to tell you yes, I would love to go to the Winter Ball with you."
He beamed a smile at her and she was so happy she had said yes to him.
"Really?" he jumped up from the bench," That's awesome! We're going to have a great time!"
She laughed at how excited he was acting and stood up in front of him," Yeah, really! I'm excited too, but uh, there is a catch..."
"Uh oh", he smirked at her," There is always a catch..."
"It's nothing too bad", she assured him," It's just... I hope we're going just as friends, ya know?"
"Yeah!" he smiled at her," That's fine. I'm just stoked to be going with you."
"Me too", Rapunzel sighed with relief. He didn't seem hurt or annoyed by it which was the biggest relief.
"Well now I have to go find myself a tux", he smiled," I'll catch you later, okay?"
"Okay", Rapunzel waved," See ya!"
She watched Nod walked away and smiled to herself. He took it so well.
"What happpened to telling him about your boyfriend?" she heard behind her. She turned around and saw Jack standing with his hands in his pockets. He was also wearing a peacoat, but his jacket was much longer reaching down to his knees. It was black and he had the color popped up behind his hair and it had double buttons going down it. He was wearing jeans with black boots underneath them. His hair was sticking wildly in the air like it usually was and he looked absolutely gorgeous.
"What are you talking about?" Rapunzel smiled," Everything went fine?"
"No!" he yelled out causing her to jump. He walked towards her until he stood in front of her closely," The deal was for you tell him you're in a commited relationship and that it was just as friends."
"I did say it was just as friends!" Rapunzel defended herself. Was he being serious right now?
"And he completely understood and said it was fine", she continued.
"No!" he shook his head," Because that means there is still a chance to change your mind and make it not as friends."
"Jack!" Rapunzel could feel herself getting angier," You're being totally unreasonable!"
They were fortunate enough that no one was in the courtyard at the time to hear their raising voices.
"I'm being unreasonable?" Jack laughed sarcastically," You told me that's what you were going to say. That was our deal!"
"Well what are you going to do?" Rapunzel got in his face," Forbid me from going?"
"Yes."
She glared at him.
"You can't forbid me from doing anything", she growled out," You don't own me."
"I'll give you a detention that night", he threatened. Rapunzel took a step back and looked at him with wide eyes.
"You wouldn't dare..." she whispered.
"Wouldn't I?" he stepped closer to her.
"You ruined my concert..." she stood tall," Don't you dare ruin this too or I swear Jack, I will never forgive you."
She turned on her heel and left him in the cold.
