There's been a lot that's gone on since I put this story on hiatus. A family member I was very close to died literally not too long after I went on a break, I got really sick after that, and nearly lost my job during a work restructure after all that…
Obviously, Covid is still making a bit of an impact on the world too so my work has been really stressful (I work in a different position and am now part to full time now). My health has been up and down too, and I've been on and off meds…
There's a lot of other stuff that I don't really want to get into so yeah.
It's about time I got to this story. Somehow, despite this hiatus readers are still finding this and leaving favourites/followings on it or me so I guess that's kind of motivated me to come back.
My muse has been on and off. I started rewriting the Darkness Rising Saga, but I lost one of the chapters I was working on because I forgot what a save button was. And lost it not only once, but twice, which demotivated me a bit and caused me to stop writing.
Where am I at right now, you may ask. All first six chapters are completely rewritten and will be uploaded in due time. Chapter 7 will be started soon. You will also notice that the title and the brief summary of this story have also changed (a full summary will be added in the first chapter once it has been uploaded).
The thing is, I'm not sure if I want to continue with this story or just completely start a new version (this version will get deleted if that's the case) so that's why I'm delaying uploading the new chapters. That, and until I have completely finished with all my rewrites.
With my muse kind of back, I wanted to put this out there just to really see if anyone would be interested in a comeback. Writing has always been a great stress reliever and something I'm still interested in doing, but obviously, it's been a long time since the end of TFP now so…
I guess that's it for now. I would love for anyone to comment on this just to see where people stand or what they'd like me to do.
