Just another day on the job, but the events have Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford rattled. After work, each of them deal very differently with their thoughts, revelations, and feelings. Will one of them finally break through to the truth?

One-shot. Tim and Lucy finally decide to admit their feelings to each other. This story takes place after the 5x07 where Tim reveals to Lucy that Ashley broke up with him. The story was written BEFORE 5x08-09 aired. You can consider it an AU beginning at the end of 5x07.

Tim Bradford keeps screwing up. First by falling in love with his boot, then by ignoring it, and then by letting her go. Now he has to fix it because it's really messing with his head.

After Tim and Lucy finally decide to start dating, they implement the "bases" rule in an effort to slow things down and start their relationship off right by showing some restraint. But little by little, after each date, their restraint slips further and further away until it no longer exists.

Immediately set after 5x01 Tim can't help but proactively plan how to keep Lucy Chen safe. But what happens when he finds out Lucy broke up with Chris after the two of them "practiced kissed", before their Undercover op? Fortunately things are helped along a little by Angela, who can read Tim like an open book, and Lucy who isn't afraid of what she wants. (also posted on AO3)
