I'm back! I hope you're as excited for this as I am! Let us be off!
Kagome woke up to a delicious smell next to her bedside. She then sat up to see an omelet with meat beside it, making her mouth water.
"Good morning, sunshine"
Kagome looked up to see Inuyasha sitting against the stone wall with a soft welcoming smile on his face.
The miko blushed at his words. "Um, good morning Inuyasha…. Did you make this?" she questioned pointing to the breakfast.
"I'm flattered that you think I can possibly cook that well after everything you've heard, but no Shippo made it, I'm just the one who brought it to you" The Dog God clarified.
Kagome smiled at him and then looked at the food with hungry eyes, but before she reached for it she stopped, looking back up at her husband. "Do you want to share?" she asked kindly, but Inuyasha shook his head.
"Shippo made it for you, and I can eat later-" The Dog God started but was cut off by Kagome.
"Please, we all need strength for tonight, and…. We are husband and wife, I think it would be nice to share this meal…." she said with a heavy blush crossing her cheeks as she then avoided her husband's eyes.
Inuyasha stared at Kagome with shock written across his face, but then he smiled happily. "I think that would be nice too" he replied as he got up and sat next to his blushing wife.
The couple spent the next few minutes eating together in silence, while they said no words to each other, the company of their partner said plenty to their hearts.
"Kagome…. Do you…. Do you think-" Inuyasha started but was cut off by a knock at the sliding door.
"Come in!" The Dog God called in a bit of an annoyed tone.
The door then opened to reveal Sango in her demon slayer uniform with Kirara on her shoulder and her boomerang bone on her back.
"Sorry to interrupt my lord, but your brother Lord Sesshomaru, and his wife Lady Rin have arrived" the young woman stated.
"Alright thank you, Sango, we'll be out in a minute," Inuyasha replied.
Once Sango and Kirara left the room The Dog God pulled himself to his feet and then held out his hand to his wife, helping her up as well.
"I'll um…. I'll let you get changed," he stated as he rubbed the back of his head and began to exit the room only to stop when he felt a tug of the sleeve of his kimono. Inuyasha turned to see Kagome holding on to him seemingly without realizing it.
"Uh, Kagome….?" he trailed off awkwardly looking from his wife to her hand on his sleeve.
"Yes?" she questioned shyly, but then realized what she was doing.
"Oh! Sorry, y-yes, I'll get changed" she stuttered.
Inuyasha smiled amusingly at his wife. As he silently left the room.
"What's gotten to me? Why….. why do I want him to continue to stay by my side?!" she thought to herself…. Realizing for the first time as she got changed, that she had barely been thinking about going back to Keade. "So much has changed in the short time I have been here. I've made friends for the first time in my life, I've been playing with and caring for little children and loving every moment of it…. But most of all…. I feel loved…. Really loved….. all because of him…" she said to herself as Inuyasha's face suddenly came into her head "…. Oh Inuyasha…. I think I-" Kagome's thoughts were cut off when a pair of hands grabbed her from behind, one covering her mouth with a small cloth and the other trapping both of her arms to her sides. After a moment of struggling Kagome found herself drifting off unconscious and when her arms fell limp her capiter smiled smugly.
"We got her, let's be off…."

"So you've finally gotten married, and we have yet to meet this unlucky girl until today, little brother?!" Sesshomaru stated crossly.
Inuyasha frowned at his half older brother who, like himself, had golden eyes and long white hair, but Sesshomaru had elf-like ears instead of dog ears. "I'm sorry! It wasn't like you were living next door and I could just walk over and tell you, you live on the other side of the freaking country!" The Dog God retaliated with a growl in his throat.
"Alright, alright! Both of you knock it off! Darling, apologize to your brother, he's a very busy half demon and I'm sure he would've told us soon had he had the time!" Sesshomaru's wife Rin snapped. Rin was a very beautiful young woman the same age as Kagome who had long brown-black hair and wore an orange checkered kimono and had light brown eyes.
"Very well Rin, I apologize brother, but before we proceed with the battle we have come all the way here for our father's land. Me and my wife must insist on meeting our new sister first" Sesshomaru proclaimed.
"Okay, okay, fine you can meet Kagome, she's-" Inuyasha started but was cut off by Sango and Kirara sprinting from around the corner in a state of panic.
"My lord, I have terrible news!" Sango exclaimed.
"What is it?" The Dog God asked seriously.
"Lady Kagome has been abducted!" the demon slayer proclaimed.
Inuyasha's eyes widened, for a moment he could do nothing but try to process what he had just been told….. "Kagome….." was all he managed to say.
*SMACK* "Get a hold of yourself Inuyasha, now is not the time to break from your senses!" Sesshomaru shouted after smacking Inuyasha hard in the face. "Miss Sango, please tell what you know of the disappearance of Lady Kagome" the older brother then demanded.
Sango took a deep breath and let it go before speaking, "When I knocked on the lady's door a short time ago she didn't answer, so I went inside and… I found this note….." the demon slayer trailed off and Kirara handed her a piece of parchment, which Sango then gave to Inuyasha.
"What does it say?" Rin asked as Inuyasha then read the note aloud.
Mutt face,
I have your woman, and unless you want me to kill her you will come to my cave and tell me I can have your land, you have twelve hours….
Lord Koga.
After reading the note, The dog god's hands were shaking. "Damn that wolf, when I find you, no real god will be able to save you!" he growled, his eyes turning red.
Lord Inuyasha-" Sango started but Sesshomaru cut her off.
"Don't get any closer to him when a demon's mate is in trouble they will destroy any and everything in their path to get to them. Miss Sango, get monk Miroku, your brother, and summon the demon army…. For we will retrieve Lady Kagome alive…."

"UNHAND ME!" Kagome demanded as she tried to break free of Koga's grasp on her arm as he led her into his cave full of hungry wolves and wolf demons.
"Stop squirming will you? I expect you to be a good little mate for me" the wolf demon replied in an arrogant voice.
Kagome's eyes widened at his words. "M-mate?" he stuttered hoping this was a cruel joke.
"That's right I really like you Kagome, so I'll spare you a life of humiliation with that half breed and you'll be the mate of the all powerful wolf demon tribe leader…. Me" Koga stated smugly.
Kagome frowned, feeling something inside her snap. "THAT'S IT! I'M SO SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE TELLING ME WHAT TO DO WITH 'MY' LIFE I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I WANT, I WANT TO BE WITH PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY GIVE ME A CHOICE OVER ALL, AND THAT IS NOT YOU, NOT KEADE, BUT INUYASHA!" the miko screamed, her face turning red in anger.
Koga blinked and then smiled as he patted Kagome on the head with a chuckle. "Sweetie, you don't know what you want, but in time you'll grow to love me," Koga promised as he led Kagome into a cave chamber and threw her down onto a pile of furs.
"Nice looking prey Koga, can I have one of the legs?" one of the wolf demons behind Koga asked, licking his lips.
"I claim first dibs on the liver" another said.
"My woman is off limits for eating and I'll kill anyone that tries to take a bite!" Koga barked angrily. making the other wolf demons cower in fear.
"If you think Inuyasha will hand over the land he protects, you're wrong! He's much a much stronger and kinder leader than you'd ever be!" Kagome shouted from the fur pile.
Koga then laughed deeply and cruelly, scaring everyone in the cave but Kagome who continued to look up upon Koga with an unfazed angry expression.
"Kindness? HA! If you want to be a leader, you have to learn to control people and make them follow your commands without fail, kindness makes you weak and vulnerable thats why the mutt didn't notice us sneaking into his stupid underground cave.
"How did he not notice then?! There was a spiritual barrier around that underground cave; there's no way you could've gotten in without being purified or caught!" Kagome said, demanding an answer.
"Oh it's true, we demons can't get inside of a spiritual powered barrier without being killed in the process of trying…. That is unless you have someone with spiritual powers on your side…." Koga trailed off as the crowd parted to reveal a figure who Kagome had never expected to see.
"KEADE!?" Kagome shrieked in shock.
"My child, oh how I've missed you" the old woman said sweetly.
"How- w-why?" Kagome stuttered as the old woman kneeled down and hugged her tightly.
"After you were taken by The Dog God, a short time later I met lord Koga who told me the in reality The Dog God himself was just a lonesome half demon meaning to destroy us all once the two of you were mated, so we agreed the best way to deal with it all was to destroy the fake God and rescue you, and now that you're here we don't have to worry about hurting you when we attack the beast and destroy him and all of his followers" said the old miko as she tried to hug the young miko again, but to the elder's surprise Kagome pushed her away.
"Excuse me, may I have a private word with my former teacher?" Kagome asked firmly, looking at Koga and his pack.
"Very well, just don't take too long" the wolf leader stated as he told his pack to clear out into the other cave chambers.
Once they were alone, Keade turned back to Kagome. "Dear, don't worry once The Dog God is destroyed we will use our spiritual powers to finish off this wolf demon pack" she whispered.
"No," Kagome said firmly.
"No? What do you mean no, that half breed beast kidnapped you and forced you to become his mate, but don't worry once he's dead I can purify the mating mark and-"
"Shut up!" Kagome gritted cutting Keade off. "You raised me and taught me how to use my abilities, and I'm grateful for that, but have you ever asked yourself what 'I' wanted from all life could offer? No, you didn't, you told me what I had to be and what my destiny would be, back then I didn't think I had the strength to tell you that the lonely life you were planning for me was not what I wanted. I wanted to fall in love, get married, have children and have friends to talk to and be with, yes I am a miko… BUT I AM ALSO A WOMAN!" Kagome shouted the last words.
Keade looked at her with a shocked expression but then it became angry. "How dare you, you disrespectful child-"
"I am not a child anymore, nor am I yours to be controlled, I'm married and mated to Inuyasha, who let me have friends, gave me a choice, freedom to be myself, and the love I had always dreamed of finding, and I will NOT let you kill him, he will come for me and we will go back home, my real home, together. I will never live with you again" Kagome stated harshly.
Keade stared at Kagome with a blank expression before slapping her across the cheek.
"How dare you speak to the woman to raised you in such a way, I know what's best for you so you will do as I say!" the old woman shouted, but to her surprise Kagome stood up and began to walk away from her.
"No, I won't, I'm going home" the younger miko stated when suddenly a flash of red and white burst into the cave.
"WOLF!" it growled.
Kagome smiled. "INUYASHA!" she cried out in a relieved voice crying as she ran over to hug The Dog God tightly but when the man himself turned to face the miko, Kagome saw his eyes were red and his pupils were blue, and he had a purple streak on each cheek.
"He's a full demon!" Kagome thought to herself but she didn't back away from Inuyasha as he then placed a hand over her cheek gently.
"Kagome….." he whispered, relieved as he leaned forward and kissed the miko's soft lips. At first Kagome was shocked but then she realized… She had been waiting for this moment for quite some time without realizing it. Now it was as if a great fog in her head had cleared, she wanted to stay with Inuyasha and the others back in the underground cave, she wanted to stay as The Dog God's mate and be with him forever. So she sweetly and fully kissed her half demon back with all the love she could possibly muster that was within her heart.
"STOP THAT AT ONCE YOU MONSTER!" Keade thundered.
Inuyasha then released Kagome's lips and growled at the elderly woman. "So you were a part of this too, were you, you old hag? Give me one good reason why I shouldn't-"
"Stop, Inuyasha please, Keade was tricked. She had no idea Koga was planning to kill everyone in the village as well as you. She just wanted me back but that won't happen. I want to be with you!" Kagome cried desperately trying to reach the half demon buried in the mind of the full demon, and to the young miko's relief, the moment she said those words the gold started to return to Inuyasha's eyes and the marks on his cheeks faded.
"Kagome…. You're safe…." the half demon stated as Kagome smiled at him and embraced him with all her might as he hugged her back tightly.
"You came for me, I knew you would!" she said as tears ran down her face.
"Kagome did you really mean all of that, you'll stay with me?" he asked in a hush voice as he was unsure of her answer.
Kagome then looked up at him with a tear stained face. "Yes, Inuyasha…. I love you…. And I was worried I'd never get to tell you. Will you let me stay with you, forever?" the young miko asked.
Inuyasha looked at his mate and smiled. "Of course you can stay, I love you too Kagome, more than anything or anyone" The Dog God said softly as he kissed Kagome once again, who as well kissed back, but the joy was short lasted.
"So… you've finally come, huh mutt face?" Koga sneered with his pack ready for battle behind him.
"Give me one damn good reason I shouldn't tear you to pieces!" Inuyasha growled. As he gently pushed Kagome behind him.
"Oh, gee that's a hard one, maybe because I'll attack your land and that dump of a village if you try anything?" Koga asked rhetorically.
"Never!" Inuyasha snapped.
"Then you were dumb to come alone…. GET HIM!" the young wolf tribe leader shouted as his pack of wolf demons and wolves charged at Inuyasha and Kagome…. But before any of them could reach the young couple, an army of the demons Kagome had seen in her village that day, swarmed into the cave attacking the wolf demon army and leading the demons through the air, was Sango and Kohaku riding on Kirara's back, next to them was Totosai riding on his flying bull breathing fire at the wolf demons, with Miroku riding behind him through sacred sutras at the nearby wolf demons.
"Kagome!" two familiar voices shouted. Kagome turned to see Bunza and Shippo running towards her and once close enough jumped up and hugged her.
"You're okay!" Bunza cried as tears ran down both his and Shippo's faces.
"We were so worried about you!" Shippo added, hugging Kagome tightly.
"I'm alright, don't you two worry," the miko replied.
"Save the hugs for later, Bunza, Shippo get Kagome out of here, she's been in this awful place long enough" Inuyasha instructed as he took out his sword, ready to fight.
"What no, I want to stay with you!" Kagome cried.
Inuyasha turned to her. "I know, but I don't want to put you through anything else having to do with these bastards, please Kagome I want to keep you safe, please" Inuyasha very nearly begged as he looked to his mate with pleading eyes.
Kagome then hugged him. Just promise you'll come home" she said.
Inuyasha hugged her back. "I promise, now go" he stated as he then charged into battle.
It took all of Kagome's will to turn around and let Bunza and Shippo lead her out and away from the cave.
"Don't worry Kagome, Inuyasha knows what he's doing, but we have to hurry!" Bunza said and he and Shippo led Kagome into the nearby forest.
"What about Asagi and the other children, are they alright?!" the miko questioned.
"Oh, don't worry Myoga is watching over them," Bunza reassured her.
"Yeah Myoga's a coward and he would never run head first into danger like the others did just now" Shippo added while rolling his eyes.
Kagome then let out a relieved sigh as they hurried through the forest, at least the little ones she cared for were all safe and uninjured from what happened in the cave earlier.
Suddenly Bunza and Shippo stopped in front of Kagome…. Who sensed a demon aura extremely close by…
"Kagome if we tell you to run, run okay?" Shippo whispered, but Kagome didn't hear him as she moved towards where she sensed the demonic aura.
"I don't sense any evil, or hunger within this aura just… fear…" Kagome then carefully moved some of the bushes in front of her and her friends and what she say made her gasp in complete shock, it was a nekomata trapped in a spiritual powered net in it's small form who looked very similar to Kirara, only this neko was a boy and had a black streak on each cheek, the tips of its two tails were completely black, as well as the end of his paws, and finally the fur around the little guy's neck was black, but otherwise he and Kirara could've been twins.
"Oh goodness, you poor thing!" Kagome cooed sadly as she carefully moved closer to the trapped little cat, who growled at her.
"Kagome, be careful!" Bunza warned.
"It's okay, he's just scared, I can sense his fear" the miko clarified as she turned back to the little neko who was still growling. "Shhh… it's okay little one, I'm not going to hurt you….. Shippo, do you have any food on you?" Kagome asked, turning to the little fox.
"Just some hand made cat treats I made, Kirara loves them" he said as he put out a sack that smelled like fish.
"I was wondering why you smelled so weird" Bunza commented as Shippo handed the sack to Kagome, who took out some of the cat treats and offered them to the little trapped neko who growling creased a bit after smelling the treats.
"Here now," said the miko kindly as she laid the food in front of the feline who devoured the food in seconds. "You must have been so hungry, here let me get you out of that trap" the miko stated as she removed the net that held the little neko demon down. Once free the neko got up and approached Kagome carefully sniffing the air near her as the miko herself carefully held her hand out to let the little guy sniff her. After a moment of sniffing, the little cat then nudged Kagome's hand to the top of his head so she could scratch behind his ears.
"Aww, you're so cute!" The miko cooed as the little neko then jumped into her arms and began to purr.
"Wonder what happened to him, that net could only have been woven and crafted by someone with great spiritual powers. It made it so this little guy here couldn't use his powers to fly away or get bigger" Shippo stated when suddenly they all heard a twig snapped close by. Kagome, Shippo, and Bunza turned while the neko growled in the miko's arms as a wolf demon with one eye emerged from the shadows of the trees.
"What do you want?!" Bunza demanded as he and Shippo stood in front of Kagome protectively.
"Came to bring the bait back to the den, and I see she also found the neko that old miko trapped to slaughter later" the demon stated roughly.
"K-Keade did this to him?" the young miko asked in disbelief looking at the little neko in her arms.
"Yeah, you should understand better than anyone as a miko yourself, miko's kill any demon they see, unless they have a deal with one like the old one did with Koga" the wolf demon stated.
Shippo and Bunza frowned. "How dare you-" they started but Kagome cut them off.
"You're wrong, I only killed the demons who were threatening or killing humans, and I've recently learned that not all demons or half demons are evil, that those with demon blood can be kind and caring too just as humans can be cruel and hurtful as well!" Kagome exclaimed as she held the neko close
"Heh, doesn't matter to me either way, you're coming with me miko" the wolf demon stated as he pulled out his sword, but before Kagome, Bunza, or Shippo could react, the nekomata jumped out of Kagome's arms and in front of the trio, transforming into his larger self and let out a mighty roar towards the wolf demon who smirked.
"Alright you furball come and get me!" he challenged as he swung his sword at the large feline who easily dodged the attacks and scratched the wolf demon in the side, who cried out in pain. "You little fleabag!" he growled as he ran off to retreat back to the wolf demon den.
"That was amazing!" Bunza shouted and he and Shippo cheered and petted the large neko who purred at the affection as he walked back to Kagome and nuzzled her with his large head and then licked the side of her face.
"Thank you so much for protecting us….um…" Kagome then paused realizing she didn't know what to call the neko but after a moment of thought she turned back to the purring large cat. "Thank you… Kuroro…" the miko proclaimed.
"Hm Kuroro huh? I like it" said Bunza.
"Me too," Shippo squeaked.
Kagome was silent as the three of them were petting the feline and then after some thought she looked up at her three friends.
"We have to go back," she stated firmly.
"Huh? But Kagome-" Bunza started but Kagome cut him off.
"No buts, and no worries, I have a plan. Lets go" she said as she then turned to Kuroro. "What do you think Kuroro, can you give us a ride?" the miko asked politely. The large neko gave her a nod and lowered himself to the ground so she, Bunza, and Shippo could hop on.
Once in the air above the forest, Kagome pointed in the direction of the wolf demon tribe's den. "Straight ahead boy, we'll need to get there fast!" the miko said as she tried to ignore the negative thoughts of how badly things could go if her plan failed, no she had to go back even if it meant risking more than her life, she had to try at the very least….. to end this once and for all….
