Sorry it took over two years to get this final chapter out. But for those that wanted it, here's the end to the story.
Cyrus was walking into the park looking around. Suddenly he spotted Iris sitting at a picnic table with a small box on the table. Cyrus aproached Iris and said, "Iris. Hey!" Iris waved to Cyrus and said, "Hey Cyrus." As Cyrus aproached Iris he said, "Glad to see you're visiting town. How are things with you? And why'd you want to meet at the park and not at The Spoon?" Then Iris looking nervous said, "Well...'" Then Iris opened up her box and showed a small cake that said, "Happy Father's Day." Cyrus looked confused as he said, "Huh?" Then Iris stood up and showed she was very pregnant as she said, "Surprise Cyrus. You... you're gonna be a father." Cyrus looked confused as he said, "But... I... we only did it two times and..." Then Iris said, "Well you remember how they said in Health class how one time is enough. Well... yeah." Cyrus sat down as he said, "I... I just need a moment to process this."
Then Iris said, "Look. I'm not trying to win you back. I just want you to know I'm keeping this baby and raising it, and... if you wanna be a part of my my child's life... I'd like you too. However I know you didn't ask for this, so if you don't wanna..." Cyrus then interrupted Iris and said, "Iris... of course I want to be part of our child's life." Iris looking surprised said, "Really?" Cyrus nodded his head and said, "I do. Look... my grandparents saved up a bunch of money for me to go college one day, but now... that money is yours to help raise our child." Tears appeared in Iris' eyes as she said, "You're serious?" Cyrus nodded his head and said, "I am. So... when's the due date?" Iris with a little smile said, "In three weeks." Cyrus took a deep breath and said, "I'll be there. That's still before the school year starts. And I'm going to come visit you every other weekend to help take care of our kid." With a smile Iris said, "Cyrus... thank you."
*ONE YEAR LATER:
Cyrus and TJ were walking away from Andi's house holding hands as Cyrus said, "TJ... I have something important I want to tell you." Then TJ with a smirk said, "What? Is it a secret bigger than my real name?" Cyrus with a serious face said, "Yes. TJ... if you and me are gonna become... what I hope we both wanna become... there's something you should know. My first and only girlfriend Iris... well... me and her... we... we had... you know... and she became welll... pregnant, and she gave birth to a little girl just oer a year ago who I visit every other weekend now, and if knowing this makes you never wanna talk to me again, I'll completely understand." TJ then stopped moving as he stood quiet for a moment. Then TJ looked right at Cyrus and said, "What's the little girl's name?" Cyrus looking a little cautious said, "We... we named her Molly." TJ then still looking at Cyrus said, "Welll... the next time you visit her... can I come too?" A surprised Cyrus then said, "Seriously?" TJ nodded his head and said, "Of course. She's your daughter, and if she's part of your life, I want her to be part of my life too." Cyrus smiled as he said, "TJ... I love you so freaking much." Then Cyrus moved his face forward, and then he and TJ had their first kiss with one another.
*NINE YEARS LATER:
Cyrus and TJ both walked into a room crowded with children with a large cake, as Cyrus said, "Okay. Here's the biggest cake we could find." Then Cyrus' daughter Molly rushed over and hugged Cyrus as she said, "Oh my gosh! Thank you dad. Thank you papa! I love it!" Then as soon as Cyrus and TJ set the cake down, Molly and many of her friends quickly began to eat the cake. From nearby, Iris entered the room and said, "Hey you kids. Remember to use forks." Iris then stood next to Cyrus and said, "Look at our daughter. Full of so much life. You know ten years ago, I thought getting pregnant was going to lead to a great tragedy. But seeing Molly the way she is now... it's like a gift. The greatest gift I could've ever had." Then Cyrus smiled and said, "I couldn't agree more."
