A familiar story we all know, secret programs making unusual people. In this case it happens to be a young woman, cloned from the DNA of a unique & skilled woman from the late 20th. Making the best of her lot in life, she is paired with a familiar face & together they face the challenges of being soldiers, facing old foes, & maybe, what it means to be human.

Set in the Halo Universe, this is more of a FanFact, than fiction, as all that happens here are as scripted in the game, but with some slight artistic licence to it. Basically, for everyone above 15, as per the age rating of the games, and can be read by anyone, including those without the games.

The location of the UNSC infinity remains unknown even two weeks after Cortana's assault on earth. Stranded on Sanghelios with the rest of Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris, The Chief is determined to find a solution to the very problem he had caused. But things get interesting quickly when he is approached by an ex-storm covenant Shipmaster who had taken particular interest in him.
