Malcolm Reynolds receives a piece of mail from the last person he'd ever expect – Saffron. Dying in prison, she begs Mal to deliver an enclosed letter to Durran. This sets in motion a series of events that will alter the course of life onboard Serenity.

Inara's secret has been bugging me, so here is my answer to it. Kind of sad really, but there you have it.
