A/N: I'm back with this story! My goal is to finish it and wrap it up while I finish some other stories and work on the sequel to one of my others! Enjoy!

A Few Months Later

Some time has passed since Maya and Josh began working through their issues. Things were turning around and they were feeling happy again. Aiden had grown so much before their eyes that they didn't even realize how big he had gotten. "Josh!" Maya called out one morning as she tried to stuff their now very large child into his clothes. Hearing Josh's footsteps come up behind her she held their chunky child up and turned around to face her boyfriend. "Do you see this?" she asked him.

Josh looked at her and raised an eyebrow as he was lost to what exactly he was looking at. "I see our son in his diaper?"

Maya rolled her eyes and huffed. "No! He doesn't fit any of his clothes! And I haven't had a chance to wash any of the new ones we got yet." Frowning she pulled her son into her chest and propped him up on her hip. "He's gotten so big so fast. He's already seven months."

Josh laughed and kissed her forehead. "I know. He's really growing isn't he?" Josh looked down at his son and gave him a playful smile. "Hi buddy! Is mommy trying to help you get dressed for day care today? And you're going to have so much fun right?"

Maya rolled her eyes and playfully pushed Josh away. "Alright enough baby talk. I'm going to finish getting him ready and then we," she pointed her icy blue eyes at Josh. "Can enjoy the rest of our day."

Josh stood alone in the apartment after Maya left to take Aiden to daycare for the day. The couple decided to take the day off and spend time with each other. Between the drama of figuring out money and fighting with each other and just not seeing eye to eye, they decided to make their relationship a priority again. It had fallen to the wayside with everything that was going on and if they wanted to be the parents they strived to be for Aiden, then they needed to make sure that Aiden had two happy parents.

Bringing his attention back to his hair, Josh fixed it as he made sure he looked perfect for Maya. "You got this Josh," he whispered to himself as he looked around making sure the apartment was perfect. He'd cleaned up and made some sandwiches while Maya was gone. Going for a romantic yet affordable day in. Josh was in the kitchen pulling out a cold bottle of sparkling cider out of the fridge when Maya came back. The door shut quietly behind her as she walked in to the kitchen.

"Oh sandwiches," she breathed as she walked into the room. "Fancy." She noticed the bottle in his hand raised an eyebrow. "Champagne?" Josh shook his head. "Cider," she concluded as she nodded her head and walked towards him. "Smart keeping it clean."

Josh rolled his eyes and gestured towards the table. "Shut up," he laughed. "Let's eat. I'm starving and I'm trying to soak up as much Maya time as I can before I have to share you again with Aiden."

Maya laughed and walked towards the table where Josh had two petite sandwiches sitting. "I'm really glad we're doing this."

Josh took Maya's hand and gently kissed it. "Me too. Come on let's eat."

Josh laid out a big blanket in the middle of their living room that he and Maya were now laying on and cuddling. Maya's neck fit perfectly on Josh's chest as they just laid down enjoying the other's company. "You know I love you right?" Josh whispered, breaking their comfortable silence. "I know I've already apologized for the past few months but I'm really sorry for putting you through that."

Maya smacked his chest with her small hand and frowned. "Don't do that. I played a part in some of that too. Besides we decided to move on from it and start fresh right? So let's do just that." Maya snuggled back into him and drew little shapes on his chest with her fingers. Looking up at him and propping her chin up on his chest she smiled. "I'm really glad I had a baby with you. The timing was something that could have used a little discretion but either way I'm glad had Aiden with you."

Josh smiled and leaned over to kiss her. "Have you thought about having another baby? Not now at least but in the future? Maybe in a few years when Aiden is a bit older?"

"It's something to consider. I just haven't thought about it yet. You know Aiden's birth was a lot for me. I just don't know when or if I'll be ready to go through that again."

Josh nodded, understanding. "Well what do you say we practice just incase?"

Maya giggled and sat up. "I wouldn't completely object to that. We do have a few hours until we have to go get Aiden."

Josh sat up and leaned over kissing his girlfriend. "That's all I needed to hear."

Maya laughed softly as she wrapped her arms around Josh's neck, bringing him down on top of her for some very adult fun.

Missy bounced Aiden on her knee as she looked over some of the other children in the daycare. Leaning over she heard her phone ring as she reached over to answer it. "Hello?" she asked as she answered.

"Hi," Riley's kind and quiet voice said softly.

"Matthews?" Missy asked confused. "Is there a reason why you're calling me right now? I'm kind of working right now."

"I want to do something for Maya and Josh and I know you and Charlie are close to them so I wanted to get your input on some stuff."

Missy rolled her eyes and continued to bounce Aiden as she moved the phone between her shoulder and ear. "Look Riley. I know we banded together to help Maya a few months back but I'm not really trying to become friends okay? I have a baby to take care, a job to keep, school to attend, and a boyfriend to keep satisfied."

Riley sighed and pushed through the pain that was talking to Missy Bradford. "Fine. I'll just plan this with Lucas and I'll have him talk to Charlie since you wanna be-"

"Bye Matthews," Missy interrupted as she hung up the phone. Picking up Aiden Missy smiled and cooed. "Your cousin or aunt or whatever she is to you is working my nerves."

Josh took a moment and stared at the blonde in front of him and smiled thinking to himself about her, their son, and their future. They'd endured a lot in the past what almost two years. In that time they'd had a baby, turned seventeen and twenty, gotten their own place, and started to fall in love all over again. In another six months Josh and Maya would be twenty-one and eighteen respectively and Josh knew exactly what he wanted to do.

He was going to ask Maya to marry him.
