Sonata is eight months and three weeks pregnant. "Let me see the ultrasound photos," Gintoki said. "I'll show you later." He sigh. "Then when is the baby due?" She rubs her huge stomach. "The Doctor told me soon. She gave me a date, but the baby comes whenever they are ready." He sigh. "Whatever. I'll see you later." She sat up. "Wait, Gintoki, where are you going? Our baby is due this week. You need to stay here in case I go into labor."

"Calm down. I'm pretty sure the baby won't come today. You have one more week."

"Okay, but that's not accurate. I can go into labor any minute. What if the baby comes early?"

"It won't."

"You don't know that. I need someone to stay with me. What happens if I do go into labor today? Who's going to be here with me?" Gintoki picks his nose. "Look. Stop whining, Sonata. You will be fine. I have a job to do so I'll be back later, alright? Now let me see the ultrasound." She hands it to him. "Damn, that is a big baby." Sonata laughs. "The baby is not big."

"Yes, it is. I know that is the head, but what is that other round thing? It must be its belly. Damn, we are having a fat baby." She shakes her head. "You think that is a belly? Look closer." He looks at her. "What else would it be? That is a big-ass baby Sonata. You are carrying a toddler. Yeesh, RIP your vagina." She snatched the pictures from him. "Give me that. You need to start using your brain." He rolls his eyes. "Anyway, I have to go. I will be back soon." He leaves out the door. "Okay. Just let nature take its course, and I will be fine."

After sitting around, Sonata went outside to get some fresh air. She decided to take a walk in the park. She wobbles along the walkway when she sees Katsura coming out of a store. He's holding a box of Mochi.

"Hey, Katsura." He looks around, removes a bomb from his kimono, and starts tossing up and down in his hand. "Who said that?"

"Me."

"Who?"

"Me, over here." Katsura looks in front of him, then puts away the bomb. "Oh, it's you, Sonata. What have you been up to-Whoa! That's a huge bubble." He pokes her stomach. "Stop it, Katsura. My belly is not a bubble. I am pregnant, remember?"

"Oh yes, I forgot. Second time pregnant, right?" She shakes her head. "No..this is my first baby. They just never came out yet. The baby can come out whenever it gets ready." She rubs her stomach. "Oh... I thought it was a piñata the first time I saw it."

"No, my baby is not a piñata." Katsura's eyes grew wide. "There's a baby in the piñata?" He asked, looking surprised. Sonata looks at him like is he that stupid? He is friends with Gintoki, so maybe he is not that smart. "My belly is not a piñata. I am pregnant, and yes, there is a baby in my belly."

He nods. "Oh yes, that's right. Gintoki's child." Katsura laugh. "It's funny that he's having a baby. He was so upset the first time he told me you were pregnant." She nods. "Yeah, but he's fine now."

"But before that, he was hitting the wall saying damn, damn, damn!" Katsura shouted. "Okay," she said while looking away. "He was so angry." She sighed. "Alright, Katsura." He chuckles. "He was furious! Pissed off!"

"Alright! I get it now! AH! Ha-Ouch. Oh shit!" Sonata holds her stomach. She looks down and felt her pants getting wet. "What the? Did I piss on myself?" Then the pain started to hit her hard. "Oh damn, OH! My water just broke."

"Oh, no problem. We can buy you another glass of water." She shakes her head "No-no Katsura, my water...just broke..." She starts breathing heavily. "Sonata-San, water can not break. It's liquid, not solid." She touched his shoulder to keep her balance. "Katsura! No! I need-need. Need to-OUCH! AHHHH!"

"Need what? To eat?" Sonata shook her head. "To drink? What is it?"

"H...Hos...Hospital..."

"Hospital?" Sonata nods. "Yes, yes, the hospital now!"

"What about the hospital?"

"You son of a-Ahh!" She exhaled while trying to calm down but still breathed heavily. "Katsura."

"Yes?"

"You're cute and all, just like Gintoki. But why do you have to be so damn stupid? Like Gintoki? Oh! My stomach..." She is seriously in pain. "I'm stupid? You're the one in labor and won't do anything about it." Sonata's right eye started to twitch. She yanks him by the collar. "Katsura, please. Get me to the hospital. And when I come out, remind me to kick your ass."

"Elegant ladies like you shouldn't fight."

"HOSPITAL!" Katsura picked her up bridal style, then ran to the hospital. "If you knew I was in labor, why didn't you do anything!"

"I needed to make sure you were pregnant." Sonata pulled his hair as he ran to the emergency room. Gintoki ran into the hospital while going the wrong way. "FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!" He shouted while running in circles. "Hey! Anyone! Someone! Where the hell is the delivery room?" He passed the door multiple times. "Gin-San! Sonata is in there!" Shinpachi shouted. Gintoki ran in, seeing Sonata lying down while yelling out in pain. "Are you the father?" The Obstetrician questioned. Gintoki nods. "Okay, put this on." He tossed him gloves, a mask, and protected wear. "Please stay with your wife."

"Wife?" Gin asked. Sonata screams louder. "Alright, the baby is coming. Let need to start now."

"I'm going to need you to push, okay? Ms. Ibenka." Sonata screams as loud as she can while trying to push. Gintoki picks up a medical tool. "Oi, what does this thing do?"

"That tool is to clean the afterbirth," Nurse Amy answered. "That's interesting. Gross, but I am curious." Sonata screams again. Gintoki walked over and held her hand. She gripped it tightly like she was going to break it. Gintoki screams like a little girl. "Sonata! Let go!" He yanks his hand away. She breathes in and out, then pushes again. Gintoki walks over to the specialists, then looks at where they are looking. "Push." Sonata pushes again while screaming. "Come on, Sonata. Why are you making noise? You're going to wake the patients in this hospital," Gintoki said. Sonata threw her pillow at him. "Fuck you!"

"Now is not the time Mr. Sakata. It's okay, Sonata. Just breathe, then push," Nurse Jade said. She breathes slowly to calm herself down. "Push again, Ms. Ibenka. First time as a father?" The physician asked Gin. "Who?" Gintoki asked. "You."

"Oh me? Yeah, it is."

"No need to be nervous. Everything would turn out alright. I got three of my own."

"Hmm, do kids misbehave a lot?"

"Well, you see, the thing is-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! And help me deliver my baby!" Sonata roared. "Sonata, he was talking. You are being rude."

"Mr. Sakata, your wife is giving birth. Focus here." Nurse Jade told him. Sonata screams again. "Hey Doc, I was wondering. What's the difference between a regular vagina and a pregnant one?" Gin asked. "Take a look." Gintoki checked in between Sonata's legs. "Nah, that's a regular one. I have seen this one so many times."

"Really?"

"Alright, Ms. Ibenka, push for the last time." Sonata let out a scream. "Here comes the head." He nods. "Oh...now I see the difference. That's gross," Gintoki said. "There we go." The Obstetrician brings the baby out. The tiny guy started crying as he handed the baby to the nurses. "Hold up, what is this silver stuff in his hair?" The nurse asked. They all took a look at Gintoki. "Oh... I see now."

"Okay, time for round two."

"Round two? What do you mean by round two? Sonata, what is going on?" Gin asked. "I showed you the ultrasounds. That round thing you thought was a belly was another head. We are having twins, Gintoki."

Sonata screams while pushing out the second baby. "SURPRISE!" The Doc said to Gintoki. Gin stood there like a plastic manikin. One baby he was okay with, but two? What the hell? "And here is the second baby." The secondborn started to cry as he handed him to the nurse. Gintoki continues to stand there in shock. The Obstetrician smacked him on the back of the head. "What the hell?!"

"Snap out of it. You're a father now, so congratulations." He leaves the room. Gintoki rubs the back of his head and walks over to Sonata's side. He took her hand and held it tight. Sonata is exhausted, and it looks like she is about to faint. "Hey, do not die on me. We have kids, Sonata. Stay with me." She groans in a low voice. "I am not going anywhere. How do I look?" He chuckles. "Like you just woke up from a coma, but you did it." He kisses her on the lips, then wipes the sweat from her face and body. "Twins." She nods. "It wasn't a belly, but another head. Damn." She laughs. "Are you shocked?" She asked. "Very. But I understand. If we had one kid, we would have to make another baby make it even." She smiles. "No more children. I am, done, Gin." He nods.

"Here are your children." The Nurse hands Sonata her babies. She sat up and held both of them in her arms. She smiles and kisses their forehead.

"Two twin boys. Okay, I have been thinking about the names for seven months. I will name you Ginharu, and you will be Gintosu. Is that alright with you, Gintoki?"

"No problem, damn, their heads are big." He and Sonata laugh. "That means they will grow up smart." Gintoki caresses their chubby cheeks. When he touches their hands, the babies grab Gin's fingers, holding on to him tightly. Gintoki smile. They haven't opened their eyes yet and already. There's a bond between father and son.
