Two months later, in a Hidden base located in Edo. "Did you find her?" He asked his subordinate. "Umm. Yeah, we did. She looks different. We had to make sure it was her. Sorry, it took us so long." He sigh. "It doesn't matter, as long as you found her."

"There's something else. Um. Well." His boss stares at him. "Well, what? Spit it out." He sighed. "The last time we spied on her, she was pregnant." He looks at him. "Pregnant?" He nods. "Yeah, you know. Round belly, hormones acting up, vomiting, eating a lot. Then after nine months, a baby pops out." He glares at him. "Shut up! I know what pregnant means. Is the baby born?" He nods. "Yes. There are two of them." His boss raises his eyebrow. "Two? Really? I didn't know she would settle down." He shakes his head.

"No, she's not married. We can tell. But there is a guy with a weird color hair coming in and out her house every day." He shrugs. "I don't care about him. It's just too bad she won't be seeing her children grow up. Bring her to me."

During the day, Sonata decided to visit Otose at her shop. "You two have some chubby cheeks. They look exactly like Gintoki, but better looking. Thanks for letting me see them from time to time." She smiles. "It's no problem at all? Gintoki is like family to you, so if you want to see them, I have no problem with it. And thank you for being their godmother." She smiles. "Thanks for letting me." The twins smile at Otose. "Finally, Gin found a woman that has some sense." She nods. "Yeah...but Gintoki and I aren't together." She nods. "I see. You two only deal with each other because of the twins." She nods. "As long as he's there for them, that's all that matters." Otose gave the kids a lollipop. "You think they will grow up to be like him?" Sonata nods. "I think so. Every time I look at them, I see Gintoki. They can have his looks. I hope they have my brain." She nods. "Yes. I hope they will have your intelligence too." They laughed. "See you later, Otose. Wave bye-bye Ginharu, Gintosu."

Sonata left the shop and went upstairs to Gintoki's apartment. She opens his door, then walks in. Gintoki is asleep on the couch with a Jump manga covering his face. She sat the twins down, opened his shirt, then slapped his chest.

"AHH SHIT!" Gintoki shouted while holding his chest. The twins laugh at him. "Sonata... I told you to stop doing that."

"I'm sorry, but doing that makes my babies happy. See, look at the smiles on their cute faces." She walks over and kisses their cheeks. "My chest is red." She looked back at him. "You will be fine. Gintoki, didn't I tell you to set up the cribs?" He sigh. "I did."

"No, you didn't. It's still sitting in the box, you lazy fucker. Why don't you ever listen?" He sigh. "Shut up...you don't boss me around. You can only boss them around." He points to the twins. "At least they do what I say." He scoffed. "Yeah, for now. Just wait until they get older." Gintoki picked up his kids and sat them on his lap. "Eew. Is this a lollipop?"

"Yeah, Otose gave it to them. Let them eat it. I will clean them up when they are finished."

"They are sticky. And they have the color of it all over their faces. Eew, Sonata, they're drooling." She rolls her eyes. The twins lift their hands, offering Gintoki some. "Thanks." As he tastes their lollipops, the twins snatch them from his mouth before he eats it all. "Don't offer if you never wanted to share." Sonata sat down next to Gin. She groaned. "You know we were going to spend the night."

"Uh-huh," Gintoki said, changing the channel. She smiles while rubbing his chest. "The twins, you and me."

"Uh-huh." She scowls at him. "The twins sleep in their cribs." She moves closer to him, wraps her arms around his neck then whispers to him. "Me sleeping in your bed, next to you." Gintoki sighed. "Stop lying," he told her. "No, I thought about it, but you didn't set up the cribs. So I'm going home after you spend time with them." Gintoki sucks his teeth. "Whatever." His attention goes back to the TV. She threw a soapy cloth at him. "Here, clean them up. I need to go to the market. I left their cookies at home."

After the bath, Sonata took the twins to the market with her. In the baby carrier. Gintosu on her left and Ginharu on her right. As she walked down the street, she heard footsteps behind her. She glances in the back of her to see two men. She ignores it, then walks faster. The footsteps she heard speed up to her pace.

At home, Gintoki complains while setting up the baby cribs. "Baby mama always pissing me off. Gin, do what I tell you to do." While getting a screwdriver, Sonata's purse is sitting on the table. He sighed. "This woman." With her purse in hand, he leaves the apartment.

Sonata is running while holding her twins close to her. She looks back to see those men following her. She wants to run back to Gintoki, but there is no way to turn around. She thought she outran them, but a man jumped out from hiding and tripped her. She fell and landed on her back while holding on to her twins tightly. She looks at her kids while checking for bruises. They are alright, so she is relieved. When she looked up, there were more men now.

"It's been a while, Sonata." She has heard that voice before. Her memory of him came back.

"Luke?" A man with blonde hair walks closer to her. "You are correct." He looks closely at her. "Wow, you do look different. Holy shit, they weren't joking when they said you have kids. I wonder who knocked you up?"

"What do you want?"

"Let's not act stupid. You know why I am here. You are supposed to be dead, Sonata. And you know that. He wants to see you. Don't put up a fight. Come with me, and I promise not to hurt your kids."

"Fuck off!" The men laughed. Luke shook his head, then pulled out his sword. "I'm going to ask you one more time. Get up and come with me now."

"She said fuck off!" All the men turn around seeing a guy with silver hair with a mean look on his face. "Who the hell is this?" Luke asked. Gintoki cracked his knuckles. "Come find out." Luke chuckled. "Smart ass, alright. Get this idiot." The men took out weapons, then went after Gintoki. He took out his wooden sword, then ran toward them. He swings, hitting half of them in a flash. With his back turned, he stood next to Sonata. The men stood there frozen for a moment, then fell to the ground in pain. "What the?" Luke mumbled. Gintoki turns around to glare at all of them. "Who's next?!" He shouted. The rest of the men started panicking. They backed up. "Don't just stand there! Get this motherfucker!" Luke order.

The men ran towards Gintoki. He drops his sword, then throws a punch at the first person. He ducked down to lift his feet, kicking two guys in the jaw with his boots. Gintoki kicked his sword up, caught it, then swung, knocking the rest of the guys to the ground. He took them all out in three minutes. "Wow..." Sonata said, looking surprised. The twins sat there looking amazed. Is this man their Dad? "Aren't you next?" Gin told him. Luke growled, then pulled out his sword. "Luke, get your ass back here now!" His boss told him.

He presses the button in his earpiece, then sighs. As the helicopter arrived came. He scowls at Gintoki, then backs up. "This isn't over." Luke enters the helicopter leaving his subordinates to fend for themselves. After he left, Gintoki put his sword away, then walked towards Sonata.

"Are the kids okay?" She nods. "Yes, the babies are fine." He nods. "How about you?" She sighed. "Good. What was that all about?"

Sonata looks away from him. "I don't know." Gintoki stares at her. Something is up. "Don't lie to me."

"I'm not. I don't know." He sighed. "You three can't go home. You are staying with me tonight. I will set up their cribs." She nods. Once they got to his apartment, Gintoki and Sonata continued to bond with their kids. After feeding the babies, they put them to sleep. When Sonata got tired, she crawled into bed with Gintoki. She lay on his chest.

"Don't get excited. I will only sleep next to you for tonight." She ran her fingers up and down his chest. Gintoki wraps his arms around her.

"I don't care. I'm going to enjoy this night. Maybe I will get laid."

Sonata laugh. "That's never going to happen. Just hold me, Gintoki." She smiles. "I would like to do more than hold you." They laugh. Sonata sat up, then got on top of him. She leaned towards his face, then started kissing him on the neck. "Just for tonight," she whispered. Gintoki wraps his arms around her body as they share a heated kiss. She wraps her legs around him as his lips travel down her neck.
