Gintoki is in the kitchen making the twins breakfast. He burnt himself on the stove, trying to cook faster. "Ouch! Damn it!" The twins laugh. "Gin," Ginharu said. Gintoki sigh. "No, not Gin, Papa," He replied to his son. "Gin..." Gintosu said. "Stop calling me that. The food is nearly done." The twins bang their hands on their high chair table. They were shouting their father's name repeatedly. "Stop… You two are giving me a headache." The twins giggle as they agitate him.
"Morning..." Sonata walks in. "Mommy..." The twins said. Gintoki drops the spoon and looks over his shoulders at them. "There you two are. Mommy was coming to get you, but you were gone." She kisses them on the cheek. "When did they start saying, mommy?" He asked. "Oh, last night. You were reading your manga, as usual." She walks over to him. "And what are you doing?" He sigh. "Making breakfast, duh..." Sonata shook her head. "No, this isn't working. You need to move. You don't know what you are doing." She pushes him away. "For your information, I know how to cook. Better than you."
"You wish." She rolls her eyes. "Whatever, this is your job anyway." She smiles. "Sorry, I overslept."
"Breakfast Time!" He smacks her on the butt. "Stop!" After making their breakfast, Sonata walks over to Gintoki. "Remember, we have planned their party today."
"What party?" She looks up at him. "Our baby's birthday party. They will be one in two days." His eyes widen. "It's about to be a year already? Damn, I'm getting old." He sigh. "Duh... That's why they are starting to talk. So now, it's time to teach them how to walk." She put her hands on his shoulders, then gripped them tightly. "And Papa better get his boys something awesome for their birthday. Or I will kill you."
"No need to threaten me. Of course, I will buy my kids something amazing. And when I do. Mommy should give Papa a lap dance once the party is over." She stares at him, then shrugs. "Okay." Gintoki drops his food. He can't believe what she said. "What was that?"
"I'll give you a lap dance. I never thanked you for protecting me and saving our children from Luke. I want to give you a lap dance because you deserve it." He rolls his eyes. "Stop lying. You're nothing but a tease."
"I'm serious, Gin. After you dealt with Luke, I never officially thanked you. So when the party is over, and the kids are sleeping. I will give you a lap dance." She leans down to his face and licks his mouth with her tongue. As Gintoki sat there speechless, Sonata kissed him on the cheek. Gintoki finally exhaled. "Fuck..." He whispered. She laughs. "Put the babies to bed. It's about to be rated R in this fucking kitchen." She chuckles. "In your dreams." Gintoki sighed. "Fine, I will take the lap dance. And what the hell is this?"
"What?"
"This?"
"What is this?"
"This!" He points to the back of Gintosu's head. Sonata walked over to the twins. "Oh, it's a ponytail." She smiles. "Why does he have a ponytail? Ginharu is not a girl." He thought about it. "Wait, is he?" She sighed. "No. Now, I gave him a ponytail because the back of his hair is long. Just like the other twin, Ginharu's bangs are long. Plus, you pointed to Ginharu. Gintosu has a ponytail. And it has been a year. Why can't you remember your children's names?" Gintoki looks confused. "Wait-What? Slow down. Listen, I can remember my son's name. And I can tell them apart."
"Okay. Turn around." Sonata mixes them up and pins their hair the same way. "Which one is Ginharu, and which one is Gintosu?" Gintoki held his chin while thinking. "That one."
"Who?"
"Him."
"Which one?"
"The one, right there." She sigh. "You can point, or a name would be nice."
"You know who I'm talking about." Sonata puts their hair back the way it was. "Gintoki, your homework for tonight is to stare at your kids. Until you know which is who."
"Just a name tag on them."
"No! You should know your kids by now."
"They're twins. How do you know?"
"Because I'm their mommy and birthed them. I know, by mommy intuition." She smiles. "There's no such thing."
"Yes, it is."
