A week later, Sonata is in the kitchen with her family. Gintoki is upset about the manga and the stupid decision the creators made. "What the hell? You call this an ending?" Sonata whacks Gintoki on the head. "What was that for?" He asked. "Stop cursing in his house. We have two twins that like to repeat what they hear you, Baka."

"Sorry, it's this manga. The ending sucks."

"Stop reading it." She wipes the twin's faces. "No. It's either read manga or talk to you. And I rather read this manga." Sonata rolls her eyes. "Whatever."

After Sonata fed the twins, she and Gintoki took the twins to see Otose. Everything was alright, but Sonata didn't think so. Gintoki doesn't want to listen. "Would you calm down? Masaya is not after you anymore. Luke is probably dead. He hasn't made any attempts to get you. Old Hag Otose will watch the twins so we can be alone for a while. When was the last time we went out on a date?"

"A long time." She sighed. "I'm sorry, Gintoki. I'm not taking any chances. Masaya could be planning something." He sigh. "No, he would have made his move a few months ago."

"I'm telling you, Gintoki. He is up to something. I know it. I worked for him for a long time."

"You are being paranoid!"

"No, I'm not!"

"Yes, you are! You sit in the house all day, and you're too damn scared to go outside."

"That's because someone is trying to kill me, Gin! Duh! THINK! For once in your life!"

"I'm always thinking! And whose fault is that?! No one told you to become a fucking spy. Of course, a job like that would backfire!"

"I did it because I needed a job! You think I knew that Masaya was going to kill me?!"

"You had hints! Your team was dying every time they had a mission. How can you not see what was going on?!" Sonata hits Gintoki on his chest.

"SHUT UP! You don't know a damn thing about me! You don't know what I had to go through!"

"YOU TWO! If you want to argue, go outside. Not in front of the twins!" Otose shouted. Sonata looks down at her kids. They stare at their parents, wondering what is going on. Sonata looks away, then sighs.

"I'm sorry, Otose. I'm sorry you have to see mommy yell." The twins giggle as Sonata kiss their cheeks. She punches Gintoki on the shoulder. "What? Oh yeah. Sorry."

"I'm not going outside, Gintoki."

"So you're going to stay inside for the rest of your life?"

"Better than being out there. It's like you want Masaya to take me."

"No, but you don't have to live in fear all the time."

"I live in fear for my children, not for me. I don't have to stand here and listen to your shit, Gin." He sigh. "Fine. Go, leave. You did it before when we were dating. You will always leave for a few days. So go ahead, you come crawling back soon." Sonata is very pissed. She picks up the kids, then walks to the door.

"You know what, Gintoki? I am sick of you. One day I will vanish, and you will never see me again. And when I do, what would you do? I'm out of here. I'm going to my sister's apartment up the street. Don't follow me, Gintoki!" Sonata leaves Otose shop with the twins. Otose shook her head, then scowled at Gintoki.

"Gintoki, you dumb ass. Go after her."

"Hell no! She wants to go out there. Let her go. She'll come crawling back in six minutes. She wants me to chase her, but I refuse to." Before Sonata started walking, she called her sister and told her to meet her halfway. "Gin-San, Sonata can't be outside by herself. Remember, Masaya is after her," Shinpachi said. Kagura slapped Gin on the back of his head. "Get up and go help your baby's mother!"

"Why should I? And if I do decide to go out there. I will do it for my kids, not for her." Sonata continues to walk down the street. She heard footsteps walking behind her. It sounded like someone was behind her. She turns around quickly to see no one familiar. Regular people walk by as she looks around. Sonata is relieved. She held her twins tight in her arms as she speeds walk to her sister's apartment.

"Gintoki! Get your lazy, good-for-nothing ass out there and go after her!" Otose ordered. "Shut up... I'm going. After my kids, not her." Gintoki leaves out with Shinpachi and Kagura. Sonata kept looking behind her. She finally realized that Gintoki might be right. One one is after her. Or, maybe they want her to think that she is safe. When she faces forward, someone is standing in front of her. Her eyes widen. She starts to shake with a frightened look on her face. The man smiles as his eyes stare right through her. Sonata reaches for something in her purse, then backs up while holding her twins. He was standing right in front of her sister's apartment. She had to get away from him.

"Come, Sonata, don't be afraid," Masaya said. She took out a gun and pointed it at him. "You motherfucker!" Sonata shot twice at him, making the twins cry. When Masaya dodged it, everyone started running. Not looking happy at what she did, he walks over to her. She tried to shoot again but could not get a good shot. There are too many people running around. So she ran. She didn't go that far. When she turns the corner, two guys grab her. "Let me go!" She shot one man in the arm, but they overpowered her. "I got her. Bring it in."

Gintoki walks around looking for Sonata while Kagura and Shinpachi look elsewhere. He sighed. "Where the hell is she?"

"Get your hands off me! GINTOKI!" He heard a gunshot and Sonata calling him. He ran down the street. "Sonata?! SONATA!" He ran to where he heard her screaming. When he got there, they forced Sonata into a helicopter. He ran towards her. "GINTOKI!" The doors slammed shut as they took off in the air. Gintoki chased after them immediately. Shinpachi and Kagura pull up with his moped. "Get on. We saw everything." Gintoki gets on as they drive off. "How are we supposed to catch them? They are in the air."

"Don't lose sight of them. Pull up behind that car." Gin stood up, then got ready to jump. "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to get to my children!" He jumps from the moped onto the roof of someone's car. "What's going on?" The driver asked. Gin continued to jump from one car to another until he got closer to the hovering helicopter. "We have company," the pilot said to Masaya. He looks at the camera seeing Gintoki. Masaya narrowed his eyes, then sighed. "That former samurai." Masaya slid the door open, then started shooting at Gintoki. He dodged the bullets, yanked a car door off the hinge, and threw it at Masaya. It hits his hand, making him drop the gun. "FUCK!" Gintoki is one car away from them. The helicopter hovers closely to the ground. Sonata is tied up, and next to her is a man he saw before. Masaya and Gintoki stare angrily at each other.

"Sonata is mine now! Your little brats are alright, for now!" He shows Gintoki his crying twins. He grits his teeth. Seeing his children cry pissed him off more. "I WILL KILL YOU IF YOU HURT THEM!"

"You are in no position to give out threats! I have no use for your kids! You have to come and get them! If you want them back! I will tell you the address, but I will let you figure it out. You can get your kids, but Sonata belongs to me. She has always been mine!" She yells as Masaya yanks her by the hair. "Goodbye, Samurai. For now."

As the helicopter started to go up, Gintoki ran towards them. He could not let them leave. He leaped into the air, then grabbed the landing gear with both hands. The helicopter tips to the side, almost crashing into a building. One guy fell out. "Sir! Please remove him, or we will crash!" The pilot shouted. Masaya looks down at Gintoki. Gin stares back at Masaya with determination, anger, and vengeance in his eyes. "GIVE ME BACK MY FAMILY!" He lifts his hand to grab him. Masaya smiles the points his gun at Gintoki. "No." He shoots him twice to make him let go. The last thing he saw was Masaya's smile as he fell.

"Gin-San!" Shinpachi shouted. He and Kagura speed up as they watch him fall. He landed hard on top of someone's car, making it stop. Gintoki groans while hissing in pain. He rolls over, then lands on the ground. He yells when the pavement hits his bullet wounds. "FUCK!" He has two holes in his shoulder, and every part of his body is in pain. He gets up slowly but ends up falling to the ground again. He finally pushes himself to get up, then immediately looks around. "No. No-no-no." He can't believe it. The twins and Sonata are gone. The helicopter Masaya escaped in was nowhere in sight. "Fuck!" He holds his head while freaking out. "They're gone! DAMN IT!" Gintoki looks down the street. The man that fell from the helicopter is trying to crawl away. "Keep him right there! He works for Masaya!" He pointed. Kagura steps on him so he wouldn't escape. Gintoki walked over, then yanked him up by the collar. "Where are they?! Where did Masaya take them?!" He glares at Gintoki. "Answer me!"

"I'm not telling you shit!" Gintoki punches him in the face. The guy fell to the ground. Gin picks him up again. "I'm going to ask you again. Where is Masaya taking them?!"

"For the last time. I'm not telling you shit. So fuck you!" Gintoki gave him a look that could kill. "We'll see about that."
