Raditz's energy flared as he planted his feet on the sandy coastline of the island that inhabited the great martial arts master, Muten Roshi, maintaining the boy's balance as he landed. Stepping forward, Raditz took a glance at the old man's simplistic home, a pink colored one with a red roof and the words, 'KAME HOUSE', written in the same shade of red above the green door.

"Old man, I'm back and ready to begin my training!" The Saiyan shouted, making sure to be loud enough to alert Roshi of his presence, as if the frantic knocking he was doing was not loud enough already.

A few seconds later, Roshi poked his head out of the window, seeing the spiky haired Saiyan impatiently awaiting him outside. Raising his eyebrows, he walked over to the front door and unlocked it, meeting his visitor on the porch.

"So, if it isn't Gohan's young Saiyan friend? You come here for another of my artifacts or have you finished your journeys?" The Turtle Hermit began, rubbing through his beard. Licking his lips, he added. "Now where's that pretty blue haired girl you were always with?"

"She wouldn't be caught dead on this island," The Saiyan plainly admitted, a saddened Roshi not even paying attention to the sudden change in Raditz's voice at the mention of the bluenette. "I haven't eaten much but a sandwich this morning, you have something I can bite on before we begin?"

"Sure, there should be a few things left in the fridge. Help yourself," The Turtle Hermit replied as Raditz charged past him and into the home. Regretting his choices of words almost immediately, Roshi's stomach dropped as the sound of a small stampede came from the kitchen. Choosing not to even think of what his grocery bills would look like for the next few months, the Turtle Hermit just let his satisfied student walk out of the kitchen and back outside, where he sat under a palm tree picking his teeth.

"Whatever that gelatin dessert was, I would like you to stock up on it," Raditz managed to let out between burps, patting his stomach in satisfaction. "Let's get started now, shouldn't we?"

Before the Turtle Hermit could respond to the Saiyan, or reprimand him about his small snack, the conversation was interrupted as a baldhead boy much smaller than Raditz and head shorter than Roshi revealed himself to the public. Tripping, his introduction started off badly as he'd miscalculated his jump and landed headfirst in the sand. Trying his best to hold in his laughter, the Saiyan's lips curled into a smirk at the sight.

It didn't take much time for Master Roshi and Raditz to pull the boy's large head from its sabulous prison. Now, the Saiyan took in his opponent, seeing that he wore a yellow monk uniform and had six scarred dots on his shaven forehead. The most craziest thing he noticed was that, unlike any Earthling he'd seen up to this point, the boy had no nose.

"Now that we've helped you, tell us who you are," Raditz demanded the Human boy in a harsh tone.

"Not that it's any of your business, but," The boy began to answer, his voice in the same harsh tone as Raditz's. "My name is Krillin. I've spent the last week traveling from the Orin Temple in the Bamboo Forest to find you. I wanna be your best student yet, legendary Turtle Hermit!"

"Beat it squirt," Raditz hissed at the boy, threateningly stepping towards the Earthling. "The old man already has a much stronger and more promising student than the likes of you."

"Where is he then?" The midget shot back immediately, irritating the taller Saiyan at just how squeaky his voice was. "Because it surely isn't you!" He added, much to Raditz's annoyance.

"The boy does have a point Krillin," The old master began, intervening in the brewing conflict between the two boys. "I did say that I'd train him some ways ago and it's been a while since I've trained two students at the same time,"

"Man… and here I was going to need a hand with some of my reading materials though," The monk fake cried as a sinister smile replaced his grimace. Stepping back towards his small canoe, the young Human made sure to accidentally drop his knapsack. The smile grew as he saw Roshi's eyes narrow in on his reading material, an entire stash of dozens on dozens of dirty magazines.

Snapped back into reality by Raditz, Roshi recollected himself as he sneezed into a blood-stained handkerchief. "W-Well, it seems that you've completed part one of Turtle Training enrollment," The old man laughed at Krillin, taking a handful of the magazines for later on. "Now for the second part, go out and find me some foxy mama to take out for a night on the beach."

"U-Uh, how exactly is that the task of a martial artist, Master?" Krillin questioned the elderly martial artist.

"Last I checked you wanted me to train you," Roshi shot back at the boy. "I wouldn't be doing much asking if I were in your boots."

"Fine," Krillin grunted, giving in as he un-capsulized an aircraft from his knapsack. Opening the door, he turned around to Roshi and Raditz one more time. "Hey, aren't you going to make him tag along and help me find your date? We're both wanting training right?"

"No that won't be necessary, we already had arrangements," The hermit continued as Raditz boasted with a smirk. "Mentioning Raditz though, bring back some Jell-O for precautions." Roshi finished, the Saiyan's stomach gurgling as a sign of agreement at that statement.

Krillin nodded, frowning as he started up his jetcopter. "Fine, but I'll be back with your date soon, Master Roshi," He said as sand hurled around the aircraft as its engine cranked to life. "Then you're going to have to train me."

As soon as the monk's jetcopter had vanished into the sky, Master Roshi turned to face Raditz with a serious expression. "That should give us a few hours to ourselves to begin. Firstly, I have a couple of questions for you Raditz," He said, adding. "If you care to answer, I mean,"

"Hurry up and ask on," The Saiyan responded with a nod. "And then, we train."

"Yeah, of course," Roshi began, clearing his throat. "Why exactly, do you want to learn from me?"

"Easy answer," Raditz shot back, plainly. "I saw just how strong you were when we fought a few days ago. I could learn a few things from you… things that could help me survive a few more fights than I should."

"I was afraid that you were going to give me an answer like that," Roshi sighed, looking away from the Saiyan and into the ocean surrounding his home. "We do not learn these sacred martial arts just to pick fights, or overpower and humiliate an opponent, and not even so that pretty women can admire us from afar. We must first master the art of peace to learn our strategy and then apply it to the art of war, where we attain our victory. If I teach you my ways, it will be your duty to defend the weak… those who lack the power to defend themselves from the wicked,"

"So like, an entire fucking race of people that were massacred just because he feared what they could become in union?" Raditz growled, bitterness evident in the tone he spoke in. "Feared so much that an entire population was wiped to one? We fight to protect them right?"

"Yes, is there… anything you'd like to get off of your chest before Krillin comes back, Raditz?" Roshi asked his student, feeling very much like an asshole for his earlier choice of words.

"Like I've told you before… I have to get stronger," Raditz calmly begged. "That Frieza freak is still out there somewhere and I know he's out there killing people just like he eradicated my whole race. He rules the universe with an iron fist and I just know that one day, he's going to make his way here to Earth… I just… I have to be strong enough to face him whenever that time comes,"

"Are we sure that it's even possible?" Roshi wondered, surprised at this. He was old, this new age talk of aliens was new to him. "I mean, someone able to wipe out entire planets? Not even I have the power to do that,"

"I am Raditz, a Saiyan warrior," Raditz proudly interrupted, his aura flaring as he spoke with heart. "We're the universe's ideal warrior race, growing stronger with each battle. I don't care if you train me or not, I'm gonna get strong enough to find him one day, the last day he'll ever rule a thing," The Saiyan added with a reenergized spark. He was not going to allow what had happened to Planet Vegeta happen to the mudball that he now called home.

"That's all I needed to hear," Roshi concluded, seeing the good in his student's heart.

"Even without my training, you have a rare amount of potential, that much is true. What you choose to do with it, is both your decision and what scares me the most. I'll provide you with my training and wisdom as long as you keep these good intentions of yours. If something as terrible as this Frieza monster is actually out there, I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that you're ready for it when it shows its face on our planet."

"Let's get started then," Raditz suggested to his newly appointed martial arts teacher.

"It would probably be best if we wait just a little bit longer before we begin. I have the feeling that our young friend, Krillin, isn't going to take much longer. This little island isn't going to be enough room for us either, we're going to have to relocate to a neighboring one if we're going to get the most out of our training."

"Fine then," The Saiyan shrugged, walking into the master's home that would now also be his temporary home. "I'm going to see if I can find anything else to eat and then meditate on the beach until chromedome returns."

A little bit over an hour passed before Krillin finally returned back to the island. After some failed attempts at bringing Roshi the right woman, the monk had finally succeeded in bringing forth a worthy match for the Turtle Hermit. "This is Launch," Krillin introduced the woman as he walked her off of his jetcopter, a tall and skinny woman with blue-violet colored hair wrapped in a red bow and wearing a green top.

"Boy, oh boy," Roshi replied, gawking over the newest of his visitors with a nose full of blood-mixed snot. "Very good work Krillin, you may now train alongside Raditz and under my tutelage."

"Alright!" Krillin gleefully laughed, grateful at the opportunity he had found himself in. The Turtle Hermit was the strongest martial arts master on this side of the planet, he knew he had very much to learn. "I'm going to kick ass at the Budokai Tenkaichi for sure, now!"

"We should begin our first lesson now," Master Roshi said to his students, turning to face the woman. "Launch was it? Would you care to join us for the day?"

"Well, I don't usually work out and I'm not much of a fighter," The girl answered sheepishly, blushing as she spoke.

"Martial arts is beneficial for many many health reasons," Roshi snickered as he explained and tried to weed the woman into his nefarious plot. "It helps promote physical fitness, concentration, and of course self defense."

"Okay," Launch smiled, giving in and completely oblivious.

"Now before we start," The turtle hermit said, racing into his home. Coming out a few minutes later, he handed a box to each of his students. "We will need new, flexible training uniforms." The man smiled, pulling a set of black lingerie laced with pink trims out of his box.

"I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this," Raditz spat out, throwing his box into the ocean without even opening it.

"But it gives you unrestrictive movement," Roshi lied, trying to get Launch to put on her uniform. "You'll move like a feather with it on."

"I'm sure my jumpsuit will be good enough," The Saiyan responded, tensing up as he removed his armor. He knew very well what the perverted hermit was planning and though he had to admit that it had been well thought out, he wasn't going to risk looking like a fool just so that Roshi could get a hard on out of looking at Launch's curves.

"Fine," Roshi gave in, pouting at his student. "The training gear is optional." He let out, handing a pair to Launch and then to Krillin. Leaning over to whisper into the small monk's ear as he handed him the garment, the master pleaded, "Just wear it and back me up on this one. I'll teach you my special Kamehameha technique before the end of the spring."

"Okay, sounds good to me," Launch giggled, changing in front of the three guys. Surprised by this, Raditz half-closed his eyes as she did this, still catching slight glimpses of the woman's milky breasts and nude body as she changed into the revealing training garbs she'd been given by Roshi. Though his eyes were closed, Raditz knew that the turtle hermit was somewhere leaking a river of blood at the sight he'd been blessed with.

Once the group of four had changed into their training gear, the workout began with a stretch. Raditz had been right, Krillin and Roshi both looked like fools in the lingerie, but he was sure that the Turtle Hermit didn't care much and Krillin was not going to say anything when he was wellbent on having his bald head halfway up the old man's rear area.

"Ahhchoo!" Launch let out, sneezing several minutes into the group's workout. Looking over to check on the woman, the boys found that with her sneeze, Launch's physical appearance had changed. Now having a blonde head of wild hair, the woman's wholesome smile had now been replaced by an intimidating glare as she noticed her very revealing outfit.

"Okay boys! Hahaha! Who's idea was this huh? Think you could just treat me like a doll and dress me up huh?" The newly transformed blonde growled in a fierce tone reminiscent of Raditz's. "Well then, please don't forget the exclusive accessory I come with, my own fucking MACHINE GUN!" Launch spat out, pulling a black submachine gun from her purse and cocking it, aiming it directly at Master Roshi and his two students.

An instant later, Launch's finger squeezed onto the trigger of her weapon, firing entire clips of bullets the men's way. Krillin and Roshi pranced about frantically at this but Raditz, knowing that bullets never did him much harm, easily maneuvered his way to the blonde. Slapping the woman's hand, the firearm was knocked out of Launch's hand and into the nearby sea. This angered Launch, and she would have let the Saiyan have it had it not been for a small bee brushing past her nose, making her sneeze once again. Falling back into the Saiyan's arms, the three men watched as the woman's hair reverted back to its original color and as she blinked, her green eyes morphed back to their original violet color.

"Hehe, I'm very sorry about the commotion," Launch blushed, getting situated back onto her feet. "I have this strange disorder that makes me change personalities every time I sneeze… it sure has gotten me into some jams over the last couple of years." The girl explained, wiping his runny nose with a handkerchief as she spoke.

The next day, after a long evening of stretching and pushups, Master Roshi and his students spent the morning packing up everything they owned. As he had told Raditz previously, the Turtle Hermit had relocated the group to a much bigger island, insisting that they would have all the room they'd need for training purposes. Master Roshi now stood outside with his two disciples, Raditz and Krillin, looking at him. After the commotion the previous day, Launch and Roshi had come to the conclusion that maybe training wasn't the best thing for her so now she instead stayed inside of Kame House, preparing a lunch for the fighters after they finished training.

"Now, first things first…" Master Roshi said, turning to Krillin. "Krillin, do you have any previous training?" He asked.

"Yes master, I spent the last eight years training at the Orin Temple," Krillin responded. "My mother left me there one day, I was the youngest trainee there for a while."

"Okay, that should mean you'll get used to my training regime quickly," The master stated before turning to Raditz. "And how many years did you get training under that pile of dust, Gohan?"

"He trained me for a decade," Raditz answered. "But I also have a few years of survival training that I underwent at three years old,"

"Great," Roshi commented, walking with his students to a clearing. Marking two lines on the grass, he said, "First thing that we're going to do is test out you guys' speed. How fast you can run is always a good indication of your strength. Krillin, let's see how fast you can cover 100 meters."

"Sure thing, Master Roshi," Krillin said, a smug look on his face as he pierced over at Raditz. He had to be the turtle hermit's favorite student, he'd been chosen first. "Prepare to be razzled."

"Go," Master Roshi said when the boy was ready.

Krillin shot off as soon as he'd heard the word. Quickly exerting his speed and energy as he covered the entirety of the hundred meters, by the time he had reached the other white line, the small monk was entirely winded.

"9.4 seconds, not bad at all," Roshi said, praising the boy for his effort. It was a time that any untrained person would be proud to have. "Alright Raditz, you're up now."

Raditz approached the line with a nod, hunching over into a running position. Although he wasn't in the loosest fitting of clothing that running required, the Saiyan was still nothing but confident that he could still impress his small audience with his display of speed.

"Go!" The Turtle Hermit shouted again, signaling for Raditz to begin. On cue, the Saiyan shot forward, closing the distance between himself and his destination with an outstanding show of quickness.

"Seven seconds flat," Roshi smiled, shocking himself by the boy's quickness. He knew that the boy had potential, but he wasn't fully aware just how much he did. "Now, I bet that the two of you are interested in just how fast I can get it done?"

"Not really… but you could still do it anyways." Raditz said, with a shrug of his shoulders. He was already aware of just how powerful the Turtle Hermit was, thanks to detecting the man's power level with his scouter.

Roshi quickly performed his 100 meter dash, finishing the race at exactly 5.6 seconds, leaving a stunned expression upon Krillin's face as the master swept past him.

"It's not much of a surprise that you're so stunned," Raditz smirked, watching as Krillin's eyes widen at the speed that the Turtle Hermit possessed. "Considering just how weak you are."

"I'll show you weak," Krillin harshly shot back, placing his boots firmly into the grass as he turned to face the Saiyan.

"Now, on to the next test," Roshi said, breaking the tension that was beginning to continually build up between Raditz and Krillin. The Earthling bent over to the ground, taking a small stone from a pile of rubble before he decided to write a weird symbol upon the surface of the rock. "This rock has the turtle kanji, Kame, on it. Your task is to find the stone." The master instructed, hurling the rock over a nearby cliff and into the tremendous jungle below it. "The one who brings the stone back to me will be served a nice warm dinner while the other will be left without a meal for the night. If neither of you have returned within thirty minutes, the both of you will just have to go without dinner for the rest of the night." The old mentor demanded before he walked into Kame House.

"Now… how will I be able to get down there?" Krillin loudly asked himself.

The Saiyan warrior ignored the cocky, yet clueless Human and raced over to the cliff, gracefully dove off of the edge of it. Using his ki to slow his descent, Raditz softly landed on the ground below, racing into the toppling trees ahead of him. There was no way that he about to allow some short, baldheaded monk win over the meal that he much surely needed more than the boy… both his Saiyan genetics as well as his vicious Saiyan appetite were not going to allow that to happen.

"Hey, wait up for me Raditz!" Krillin suddenly cried out as he began cautiously climbing down the rigid cliff, fully aware of the fact that he was already clearly at a disadvantage.

Several of minutes into the hunt for the stone bearing Roshi's signature kanji, Krillin finally happened to finish his descent from the cliff, his feet landing comfortably on the soft blades of grass bearing at the bottom of the cliff. Just as he was about to rush into the tropical jungle that Raditz had entered into minutes earlier, the extremely short Earthling glanced into the forest glades to see the last person he had wanted to encounter, Raditz. The Saiyan in mind was slowly walking towards his rival, the same stoic expression that he bared nearly all of the time engraved upon his emotionless face as Krillin saw that he was repeatedly tossing some sort of object into the air, catching it before it could hit the ground.

"Give up already?" The boy confidently smirked, his tone becoming somewhat cocky as he stared down his rival.

"Nope, I'm just finished with the old man's assignment." Raditz shrugged, the same smirk that Krillin had upon his face forming in place of the Saiyan's own mouth. "I've already found the stone." The Saiyan finished, mocking his opponent as he showed off the smooth stone on which the Turtle Hermit's Kame kanji had been sketched upon.

"That fast?" Krillin gulped in disbelief. "H-How? That's impossible!"

"Clearly it's possible… as well as easy," Raditz clearly responded. "All you had to do was pay attention to the precise area in which the stone landed after Roshi hurled it. Plus, this thing has that weird, elderly pervert scent upon it that the old man also has on him. Those two factors made this victory much too easy."

"I'm not throwing in the towel that easily!" Krillin let out, wanting to beat the Saiyan once and for all. "How about we have ourselves a little bit of a friendly spar for that stone?" The former monk suggested, getting into a fighting stance that had been taught to him years earlier, by the much stronger, older shaolin monks at the Orin Temple.

Raditz grinned at the request of a spar with his fellow, though baldheaded, student. Ever since the boy had arrived upon Master Roshi's Island the previous morning and had insulted him, thinking that he, himself, was the big deal and all, Raditz had wanted to lay an old-fashioned, nice beating upon the kid… just to scale back his cockiness and confidence. "Are you sure that you want to do that?" The Saiyan warned his would-be opponent for the final time, as he placed the white stone that he was carrying into the resourceful, reliable fur pouch hanging from his Power Pole's sheath before he got into his traditional fighting stance as well. "I hope you know that there's absolutely no way in hell that you could possibly beat me."

"We're just going to have to see about that then! I was trained by the monks… some of the greatest martial artists on the face of the planet." Krillin confidently smirked, thinking that defeating the long-haired Saiyan in a fair spar would prove much too easy. So what if Raditz had trained under his father… he had trained under dozens of shaolin warriors, martial artists known for their incredible strength. After he made short work of this long-haired guy, he wouldn't have to worry about another of the Saiyan's smart remarks splatting out from his opponent's mouth… hopefully.

Krillin's thoughts were then interrupted, disturbed as Raditz instantly charged towards the young monk, landing a powerful fist stiffly to the boy's jaw, snapping Krillin out of his daydreams. The Saiyan's opponent then stepped back before attempting to respond to Raditz's strike with his own, perfectly placed blow. Unfortunately for the bald martial artist, his opponent managed to easily speed out of the way of the clenched fist, evading any means of damage. Raditz then sped up to Krillin, sending a series of bicycle kicks directly to the boy's head before Krillin could do so much as blink. Before Krillin could open his eyes once again, he could feel his insides howling out because of the devastating amount of pain that was being inflicted upon him. Milliseconds before Krillin could even begin to think any of words the describe the experience, another one of Raditz's blows, this one a mighty jab to the chest, sent him flying back into a nearby tree, leaving a nasty splintering crack across the front of the enormous trunk belonging to the towering tree on impact.

"Darn… he's much stronger than I anticipated." Krillin frowned as he hit the tree trunk, hissing in agony as the pain flooded his body, caused strictly by the impact of both Raditz's fist as well as the large piece of lumber. "But I am not giving up." The Earthling added, picking himself back up from the grassy ground.

Krillin then dashed towards his opponent, hoping to go on the offensive against his Saiyan foe. The former monk closed the distance between himself and Raditz quite quickly, coming face-to-face with the long-haired warrior within seconds. The former monk then attacked with a flurry of both punches and kicks aimed specifically towards heavily damaging the Saiyan's muscular body. While some of the fast traveling strikes managed to slip through Raditz's defense, the Saiyan had managed to block the majority of Krillin's blows with his sturdy, reliant forearm, disallowing a good percentage of the Earthling's punches and kicks to connect to their intended target, him.

Before the onslaught of attacks courtesy of Krillin could continue further on, Raditz swiftly leaned his head out of the way of a stray kick's path, managing to grasp ahold of the martial artist's booted foot. The Saiyan then used his own physical strength to lift his opponent into the air with the help of the limb, before hurling the shaven headed Earthling back down to the grass with extreme force, flushing a completely new level of pain throughout the boy's already aching body.

Arising from the ground once again, Krillin mustered up the energy he needed to charge once more at Raditz, thrusting his gigantic, completely shaven head directly into the Saiyan's protected stomach. Upon contact, Krillin's headbutt inflicted much more damage and force needed to cause his opponent to cough up a bit of blood onto the grass, releasing the bodily fluids onto the dewy grass. In retaliation, Raditz suddenly recovered, sending a powerful knee accurately into the Earthling's clearly exposed jaw, bloodying his training mate's own mouth as well.

Honestly, the Saiyan had meant for the spar between the two to get so bloody and graphic… but Krillin was turning out to be a much stronger opponent that his personality would make one think. Raditz had never gotten the chance to scan the former monk and receive his power level, due to his scouter's power level calculating systems still happening to malfunction quite a bit. Though this mattered little to Raditz, seeing as a single night dedicated to repairing the device would easily solve his problems. Hopefully, this match would finally allow both he and Krillin to get some stress and anger over one another off of their chest and then… the two of them could at least try to form a friendship, seeing as they would have to see one another face-to-face each day for at least the next eight months. Getting along and being friends would result in a much cleaner, less stressful training period for both of them, and Raditz knew just that. But for the time being… Krillin was going down! Nobody could separate the Saiyan from his righteously deserved meal.

Krillin stumbled back to his feet, staggering a bit as he used a sturdy forearm to wipe the small trickle of blood slowly spewing from his mouth. The monk could not help but grin at his already grinning opponents. He could easily tell that the warrior, just like him, was having the time of his life sparring against him. This long-haired emotionless prick was actually a pretty competitive and tough opponent, something that Krillin barely happened to come across at the Orin Temple, being one of the strongest kids in his own age group. Originally… he had hated Raditz's guts because of the Saiyan's sheer attitude and smart remarks, but now… it seemed that hate was too harsh of a word to describe it. He was beginning to respect the boy as a martial artist, as well as a formidable foe. Though this bout between himself and Raditz would finally decide who happened to be the strongest of the two.

Putting his thoughts to the side for the time being, Krillin leapt towards Raditz, hoping to catch the boy off-guard, surprising him. However, once Krillin attempted to send out a fierce hook directly to the Saiyan's cheekbone, the Saiyan had somehow managed to anticipate his attack, meeting and blocking the power packed fist with only an open palm. Seeing his attack blocked, Krillin suddenly let out another blow in midair, this one an authoritative roundhouse kick intended strictly for the warrior's unharmed body. Raditz hissed as the monk's foot rammed into the side of his chiseled body, bruising up against a few of his protective ribs… a shower of pain flooding the Saiyan's body.

Looking up at his long-haired opponent, Krillin could see that the Saiyan was close to exhaustion, just as he was. Raditz had once again withstood another of Krillin's most forceful, strongest blows head-on… placing a look of astonishment upon the monk's face. Krillin could see that although Raditz's jumpsuit was a bit shredded, torn in the abdominal and chest areas, and his body battered, the Saiyan was still managing to emit a slight smile, even after being inflicted and inflicting a large array of damage. Something seemed a bit odd about this warrior… it was as if he lived for a decent challenge, for that any and all people that could actually manage to push him to and beyond the limits he had set for himself.

"I'm impressed," The Saiyan warrior smirked, a slight grin still painted upon his face as he stared Krillin down with his own, piercing black eyes. "Not that many people have been able to actually hurt me before… I haven't had a fight this good in a while."

With that, Raditz suddenly shot back at Krillin, throwing a fierce uppercut at the monk, easily managing to slip through the boy's defense before the closed fist rammed straight into Krillin's jaw with a great ton of his ki behind the blow. The attack had been fired at a speed so unreal and quick that Krillin did not have a single second to even think of blocking the blow, letting the strike easily penetrate his fighting stance and inflict a great deal of damage to his throbbing jaw. Not letting up for a single second, Raditz then followed up with another of his firmly placed jabs to the Earthling's face and just as Krillin went up to meet the blow with an open palm, the former monk was just a split second too late to realize that the attempted strike turned out to be nothing more than just a simple feint. Raditz's grin widened as he quickly rose his other hand to the boy's face, the palm of his muscular hand mere inches away from Krillin's trembling face. The next second, Raditz fired a relatively small, point-blank blast of ki directly into his fellow student's face, leaving several first degree burns etched upon the boy's large forehead.

Raditz quickly recovered from the blast, shooting his head up at Raditz in surprise, obviously stunned by the fact that his opponent possessed the ability to manipulate his inner energy. He had once heard of the rumors that the greatest of martial artists were able to do such things, such as the Orin Temple's most prized fighters. He had even once heard of the Turtle Hermit's incredible Kamehameha Wave… but the thought of the young martial artist before him harnessing the ability to use ki was impossible to say the least… despite the fact that he had just happened to witness it being done. Though Krillin just had to accept the fact the fighter could unleash his ki just a bit too late, once the small, clear blast of energy had struck his face head-on, feeling the force of the Saiyan's ki burning into his skin.

Raditz smirked as he slowly advanced towards his astonished opponent, Krillin. He hadn't actually tried to put much energy into the ki blast, just enough to knock his opponent back and daze him. The Saiyan suddenly arrived at the astonished, daze Human, managing to strike the boy with a swift chop to the neck, rendering his opponent completely unconscious before he could even know what even happened to hit him.

"Nighty night," Raditz laughed as he worked his way back to Kame House, the smooth stone on which Roshi had drawn upon clenched tightly in his firm hands. The knocked out Krillin was left sleeping on a patch of grass as Raditz continued towards the very place his dinner was now awaiting him.
