Seven years later.

The three of them stood on the mat staring at each other. With their eyes narrowed and hands balled into a fist. Gintoki stands there waiting for someone to make their move, but who? The twins walk around him in a circle. The first one ran over to him. "Take this!" He thrust his wooden stick towards him. Gintoki didn't move. As the boy got closer, he grabbed the end of his weapon and snatched it from his hand. "Huh?" He lifts the back of his shirt over his head, spins him around, then kicks him. The boy fell onto the mat, whining. He shook his head at his goofy son, then turned around to block his other son's attack. "Eat this! Old man!"

"Old man?" He swung his stick to whack Gintoki in the face, but he took hold of the weapon. He grabs the boy by his ponytail, then throws him against the wall. He falls onto the mat. The twins pick themselves up. "Is that all you two got?" Gin asked. "We're not finished yet!" Gintoki grins. "Then bring it."

The twins ran towards him and then split up. One twin got ready to punch him while the other went for his legs. When they got closer, Gintoki backflipped out of the way. The twins ran into each other, then fell onto the mat. He dangles them upside down by their legs. "Hey! Put us down, damn it," Ginharu said. "This is unfair! You are cheating! Now put us down so we can kick your ass," Gintosu threatened. "What did I say about cursing?" Gintoki bumps their head together. He swings them around, then throws them onto the mat. They rolled, then got back on their feet quickly. They grit their teeth while getting angry. "GET SERIOUS!" Gintoki shouted at them. "We'll show you. How serious we can get!"

The twins pick up their wooden sticks. "Whoa... Am I supposed to be scared now? If you don't know how to use it, you won't win." The twins charge toward him. In a flash, Gintoki took their weapons. They didn't notice until they saw their weapon coming down at their heads. They quickly dodged his attack before hearing a loud explosion. Gintoki stood up. He glanced behind his shoulder to look at his kids. They stare at the damage he did on the mat. "He is a monster. That could have been us." His brother nods. "You saw how fast he took our weapons?" He shakes his head. "How could I? He is too fast!"

They dodged when Gintoki attacked them again. The blast knocked them back. Ginharu stood his ground while Gintosu landed on the floor. "Shit!" Ginharu helps his brother up, then tosses him a weapon. "I am sick of him," Gintosu said. His brother nods as they walk toward their dad. When they charge at Gintoki in attack mode, their dad kicks the sticks from their hands, then trips the boys over. They land on their backs. "Damn..."

"HEY! I said stop cursing!" The twins kick themselves up and land on their feet. "Not fair old man!" Gintosu shouted while charging at Gintoki. "Gintosu! Wait!" His brother warned. He jumps with his fist coming towards him. "TAKE THIS!" Nearly kicking his dad's face in, Gin caught his tiny fist to stop his attack. He kicks him in the stomach to get loose, then begins punching and kicking to take Gintoki down, but nothing is working. He has to dodge and block Gintosu's aggressive attacks. The boy is all over the place. He stops Gintosu's last strike, grabs him by his yukata, then throws him across the room. Ginharu tries to catch his brother, but Gintosu felled on top of him.

"Not good enough!" Gintoki shouted. The twins groaned. "Don't ever charge at him, Gintosu. I told you. Always take him by surprise." Ginharu walked over to his dad and decided to take him on by swinging at him. Gin fights back by swinging and dodging his son's attacks. Okay, this fight is way different. Gintoki tried to match his son's pace, but that will never happen. Ginharu fighting style is graceful and tamed. You have to use your brain before you attack him. And that is something Gintoki does not do. When he blocks his fist, Ginharu kicks Gintoki in the chin. He backs up a little while checking for blood. He grins. "You little brat."

"I'm not Gintosu! I will take you down," he threatened. Gintoki smiles at the determined look on his child's face. "If you take me down." Losing focus, Ginharu ran towards Gintoki. He tried to punch him, but Gin stopped his attack. Ginharu grabbed his arm and held on. Gintoki shakes him off, but Ginharu wouldn't let go. His son grins. It's a trap! Gintoki looks up to see Gintosu is about to kick the shit out of him. Moving quickly, he grabbed Gintosu by his leg, yanks Ginharu up by his shirt, then slammed his kids on the mat.

While groaning, the twins open their eyes to see a stick coming toward their faces. They yell while shielding themselves from the pain they are about to receive. A few seconds passed, and nothing happened. They open their eyes to see Gintoki looking down at them. He still has the wooden stick in their face.

"Practice is over. Get your things." Gin drops the stick on their forehead.

"Ouch..." They rub their craniums. "Hey! How is practice over?" Gintosu asked. "Exactly, old man. You said you were going to teach how to fight with swords," Ginharu explained. Gintoki looks at them. "Did I?" He rubs his chin, thinking. "Nah... I don't remember telling you that."

"Yes, you did!" Gintosu shouted. "You promise that you will today," Ginharu added. "No, you got it all wrong. I told you if you take me down in hand-to-hand combat. Then I will teach you how to fight with swords. Did you two take me down? No. Oh well, too bad."

"You old ass liar!" The twins shouted. "I'm not old! You snot-nose brats! I was young when I had you two!"

"Hey! Our noses aren't snotty. We know how to wipe our noses," Gintosu said. "And our asses," Ginharu joked. The twins laughed. "Your old Dad." His brother nods. "He's like, 45." The twins laugh while Sonata walks in. "Ready to go?" The twins ran towards her. She kisses them on their cheek. "Did you two learn something today?"

"No..." The twins said while glaring at Gintoki. "Dad was supposed to teach us Samurai stuff. But he lied to us, as usual," Gintosu explained. "When have I ever lied?" Sonata and the twins stare at him. He lies every day. "Then he started making up excuses, Mom. Dad was being a total dick," Ginharu told her. "Who are you calling a dick?!" Gintoki shouted. "You were being a dick about it!" Gintosu shouted back. "Stop the cursing! All three of you, or there will be consequences. We're leaving now. What time will you be over, Gintoki?"

"Whenever I feel like it."

"Then I will make your dinner whenever I feel like it."

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry. I will be there later. I got things to handle." Sonata pats him on the shoulder as the twins stare at them. "See you later, Gin." She leaves the Dojo with her twins and heads home. "How was school today?"

"Boring but awesome," Ginharu said. "It was awesome because we planted a stink bomb in the vents," Gintosu said. "You two did what?!"

"No need to panic. The school doesn't know it was us," Ginharu smirks.

"We got away with it home free," Gintosu laughs. Ginharu pinches his nose. "The school was stinky." The twins laugh. "Don't do it again," Sonata warned. Gintosu glance at his mother and then looks at his brother. "Mom."

"Yes, Gintosu?"

"We have a question."

"What is it? Did your Father tell you two something dirty, and you need me to explain it?" They shake their heads. "No, not today," Ginharu said. "Why did you pat Dad on the shoulder instead of giving him a kiss goodbye?" Gintosu asked. "Am I supposed to?"

"Well yeah... You are his wife, right?" Ginharu ask. Sonata laughs at what he said. "What's so funny, Mom?"

"I'm sorry. But I'm not married to your Father."

"Oh. Well, why do you let Dad go out with other women?" Gintosu asked. "Because he is allowed to do that."

"But you're his woman, right?" His brother asked. "No, Ginharu. I'm not."

"Then what kind of relationship do you and Dad have?"

"I'm not telling two 8-year-olds my business."

"We only want to know."

"I'll tell you. It's a raising two twins relationship."

"That doesn't exist," Gintosu said. "Well, that's my answer."

"So you and Dad aren't together?" Ginharu asked. "No, we're not."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

"That's not an answer," Gintosu said. "That's my answer."

"Do you want to be with Dad?" His brother asked. "No, Ginharu. I don't want to be with him, sweetie."

"But why...? You two make a perfect couple," the twins said. She sigh. "Let's get home, shall we."

"Don't ignore us, Mom. You should take Dad from Tsukuyo." Sonata laughs. "No, she can have him. Instead of cooking, let's go somewhere to have dinner."

"It's a miracle," Ginharu said. "Why do you say that?"

"Your cooking is not that great."
