Chapter Seventeen
Raditz's eyes slowly opened the next morning, awakening to find himself in the same hospital bed he'd admitted himself into on Bulma's accord the previous night. On the nightstand closest to him, a tower of glass cups, bowls, and plates that had been licked clean were neatly stacked and his scouter also sat waiting for him. After the match, both Roshi and Raditz had been admitted into the hospital and treated for multiple breaks and burns. The New World Champion sat up, wiping boogers from his eyes, as he took in his surroundings. Bulma had taken his 500,000 zeni prize and opened up a bank account for him and though he was far richer than he'd ever been, Raditz cared very little for the cash prize. He was the strongest man on the planet, that's all that mattered.
The Saiyan arose from the comfort of his bed, walking over to the mirror. Glancing into it, Raditz saw the same facial features he knew as his staring back at him. The same cold black eyes and untamed mane of black hair. He opened the hospital gown he had been dressed in while he slept, looking at his injuries from the fight with Roshi. Layers of gauze wrapped around most of his chest and upper shoulders, with his entire left arm wrapped into a cast. On his face, the scar from Giran's tail was still healing. A smile crossed Raditz's face as he rubbed his finger across it, it reminded him very much of his late father, Bardock.
'I know it isn't much but I hope you're proud of me,' Raditz thought to himself as he grabbed his scouter. He had no idea where his armor was and with his gi torn to shreds, he wasn't going to spend all day in a gown. Walking from his room, the Saiyan strolled a small distance before he reached the outside of the building, where each of his friends were practically awaiting him.
"So, you're finally awake huh?" Krillin laughed, the first to see the Saiyan come through the doors. The monk was shocked, he could have sworn his friend lo0ked worse a few hours ago. "You don't look nearly as bad as yesterday… your whole arm was knocked out of its socket. The doctors thought you'd be outta it for the next few days."
"I see," Raditz commented to himself. He didn't feel at a hundred percent but the Saiyan felt much, much better after a night's worth of rest. He also took note of how bruised and sore Roshi seemed. "It seems that Saiyans recover faster than you Earthlings." The Saiyan added before remembering what he'd found his way to his friends for. "Now, where's my armor?"
"You don't need it," Bulma replied. "You see that arm? You're in no shape to fight and I don't want you begging me to let you train until that cast is off!"
"This cast is more itchy than anything," Raditz groaned, flexing his healed muscles. It stung a bit but he continued until the wraps surrounding his arm began to crumble and tear in front of an astonished crowd. "See, a bit tingly but otherwise usable. I've been slammed through hills and boulders, I don't think this was necessary." The Saiyan added, frantically shaking the debris from his arm as he finally felt less limited.
"You Saiyans sure do have a thing for defying the laws of physics, don't you?" Bulma laughed. His arm had been burnt, fractured in three spots, and mangled but hours later, it looked almost brand new aside from some scar tissue.
"I'm not trying to be in this gown all day," Raditz started, sounding more irritable than before as he snapped at the bluenette. "My gi was torn to shreds, woman so I'm going to ask once more. Where is my battle armor?"
"Wait, you didn't see it yet?" Bulma questioned, frowning at the Saiyan. She'd spent all night sewing, of all things, just for him to brush it off? "It took all night but I made you another one with the old man's help. I figured you'd not want to walk around with that muscle butt of yours on display all day. Hehe, it should do but I already talked to mom about mass producing a few just so you wouldn't be worried about not ripping your clothes."
The young, naïve Saiyan looked up at his blue-haired friend, the signature frown that he usually wore being stripped from his face and replaced with a slight, no teeth showing smirk. "Thanks Blue… I really appreciate it." The Saiyan thanked the turquoise-haired Earthling.
"Now, what exactly do you plan on doing now that you've won the World Martial Arts Tournament?" Yamcha let out, questioning the well-trained Saiyan warrior.
"Continue training… what else?" Raditz plainly answered, a confused look bestowed upon his face.
"But you're already the strongest in the world?" Krillin interjected, confused as to why the Saiyan would continue training.
"Yeah… but for how long?" Raditz answered, bringing up a good point. "Who knows what could happen by this time tomorrow? I need to get stronger. If not for fun then so that I can protect you all from anything that tries to do us harm… and for when, it comes. My entire race was much stronger than I am as of now and it did away with us so easily! Not only that, but I'm telling you all now, you all must have responsibility and train as hard as you possibly can as well or I know for a fact that we will be effortlessly crushed like bugs." The Saiyan grumbled, the thought of Frieza returning to his mind. He noticed the stunned expressions on everyone's faces but he had to be real with them. They didn't stand a chance against the Arcosian's might… at least not yet.
Although the long haired Saiyan, Raditz, was the strongest being upon the face of the entire planet Earth, the tailed warrior still knew for a fact that Frieza was hundreds, if not thousands, of times more powerful than him at his best. After all, his father's power level had lastly been noted at somewhere nearing 10,000 and that bloodthirsty tyrant called Frieza had managed to make him look like an ant and single handedly destroyed an entire race of powerful warriors with powers in the high hundreds and thousands... which had to mean that his power incredibly exceeded all of their powers, possibly spiking upwards into the hundred thousands or millions. Raditz had to become much stronger than he already was if he ever planned on defeating the monster that had managed to exterminate his race whenever and wherever they would come face-to-face.
"You can train at Capsule Corp," Bulma suggested to her tailed lover, the idea of always being around the warrior and watching his muscular body sweat and move about becoming intriguing to her. "I know for a fact that my father would love to learn more about you and your race's biology and I'd wanna know more about the technology if that's fine with you. Plus, with the smarts that both my father and I possess, I'm sure that we could invent some kind of training equipment that could help you in the long run."
"I would like that…" Raditz answered, his world-famous smirk appearing upon his face. "Seeing as I'm officially stronger than the old man and he has taught me practically everything he knows… it would be quite smart of me to begin training on my own."
"And plus, I can begin training with you again," Bulma added, his finger twirling through that perfectly straightened turquoise hair of hers.
"Yeah, that's a possibility," Raditz smirked, his muscular hand beginning to ruffle through his long mane of hair.
"Going with your blue haired friend there to train could and should give you a chance to visit and see many more parts of our world… which will help you gain much more knowledge on new places and people. But I'm afraid that you're going to need a sparring partner… and I'm becoming much too old for the very frequent sparring sessions of yours." Roshi told his student, looking over at Krillin. 'Plus, I'm going to need some of my traditional alone time with Launch if I'm even going to get a pleasure of my own.'
"I guess that you're right about that one… Krillin, how about you come along and train with me? It would be a great opportunity for the both of us to grow stronger at a much faster rate." The Saiyan offered his bald friend, knowing that he would be the closest thing to a challenge that he could find if Master Roshi was beginning to decline with age.
"How and why would I ever refuse that offer? Training under the Earth's strongest warrior is sure to help me improve." Krillin exclaimed, happily accepting the Saiyan's offer.
"Well… Master Roshi?" Yamcha started, tapping the Turtle Hermit's shoulder. "Seeing as you previously offered to train me in your ways…. Could you begin doing so now? I'll be at Capsule Corp for that rematch soon Raditz, I haven't forgotten."
"I don't see why I would refuse," Roshi answered. "With both Krillin and Raditz there moving out, there should be much more than enough room in the old Kame House. Are you going to be bringing along your two friends for the stay?"
"Mai… Puar, do you two want to come along with me for my training?" Yamcha asked his two companions, who eagerly responded with their respective nods.
"Alright Blue… Krillin and I should be at your place in a couple of days at the most." Raditz told the beautiful woman standing in front of him. "We need to return to Master Roshi's Island and get all of the stuff that we need. Because the others do not possess the ability to fly, I guess that we're going to have to catch the plane alongside them."
"Okay, I'll be waiting for your return." Bulma smiled, putting her hand upon the warrior's wrapped shoulder.
"Now, before we go our separate ways for the time being, how about I take us all out to lunch? I could use a great meal fit for even a king," Raditz asked his friends, his smirk transitioning into a toothy grin. "My treat?"
His friends, happy at the mention of an amazing meal free of charge, happily obliged with the Saiyan's request. The martial artist had at least half a million Zeni at his disposal… what else would he spend it on?
Raditz sat to himself in silence, his legs were crossed as he meditated in the room in solitude. He and Krillin had only resided at the large Capsule Corporation building for almost a month and he'd realized after taking nearly an hour to find his way back to he and Bulma's room just how big the place was. He and Krillin had sparred for a while earlier, there wasn't much else they did nowadays. Sometimes he even trained with Bulma, teaching the heiress some things he'd learned during his training with Roshi. She was becoming quite skilled under his tutelage, her flying skills and basic ki manipulation taking a jump for the better in the small time he'd stayed with her. In exchange, she and Raditz usually spent what extra time he had between training and she had between business and school to spend time together. She showed him a lot about what humans occupied their time with -from watching television and helping Bulma with her research on his Saiyan physiology, he actually did enjoy spending time with the woman. Although they hadn't yet mated and their relationship was still a budding one, the bond that they had shared since searching for the Dragon Balls was growing tenfold daily between the two young lovers.
Individually, the Saiyan warrior had managed to improve since the tournament -though not as much as he would have hoped for. He was far stronger than both Krillin and Bulma, so he was hardly challenged when it came to his training. Even with his old turtle shell, sparring with Krillin was better than sparring alone so he didn't complain much. When the Saiyan was alone though after beating Krillin to near unconsciousness, he had been working on a technique to split himself and finally have an equal partner -though it was still in the early phases so some risks came with using the technique.
"Raditz…" The voice of Bulma intruded the silence. Walking into the room, she found the young Saiyan quietly meditating to himself. "Are you busy?"
"Not really," The Saiyan responded, his eyes still closed and his focus mostly on his breathing. "Just doing some meditating while Krillin recovers."
"Oh," The woman continued, some hesitation in her tone as she spoke. "We're all becoming stronger because of you, you know? You've been giving Krillin the old Yamcha treatment all day though, huh? You did quite the number on him, he could barely carry himself up the stairs." Bulma added, breaking the ice more so with the Saiyan.
"I didn't go as hard as I could have," Raditz retorted. "I don't want him broken… then I wouldn't have anything to punch on tomorrow."
"Do you have anything planned for the rest of the day?" Bulma questioned her Saiyan friend, playing with her fingers and sheepishly looking down as she spoke.
"Not that I know of," Raditz answered with his eyes still shut as he carried on with the conversation. "Why?"
"I mean, I was wondering if you wanted to go out for dinner. I reserved a table at this great restaurant in the city." Bulma began to ask, her face instantly flushing and reddening like a tomato. "I mean, only if you'd like to-" She continued, only to be interrupted by the Saiyan.
"If this is your way of asking me on a date, I'd love to escort you to dinner," The Saiyan answered with a grin as he hugged his lover. He was hungry, sure, but his answer had come more from the fact that he actually had begun falling for the turquoise-haired woman over the course of the month he fell asleep and woke up to her face. "Let me hop in the shower and put on something suitable for the occasion then we can head out." Raditz added, using a rag to wipe a pool of sweat from his face as he walked towards the washroom to prepare for the night out with Bulma.
A little bit over thirty minutes later, Raditz and his date, Bulma, approached the restaurant that Bulma had been speaking of, an incredibly large building of some sort. Not wanting to mess up her hair, Bulma had insisted on not flying, instead somehow managing to persuade Raditz to take the much slower route of driving to the place. It was at that moment that Bulma found out that her Saiyan companion and date had absolutely no knowledge over driving a vehicle, to which she responded by saying that now she could teach him a little something for once.
Exiting the car, Raditz repeatedly shrugged and angrily scratched out his outfit, which consisted of the very attire that he hated the most out of anything that he had ever worn… the very platinum colored tuxedo that he had been forced to wear to the tournament by Master Roshi after Launch had bought one for the old master himself, him, and Krillin. To his side, Bulma wore a ruby red colored, silky dress that traveled to a few centimeters above her knees, showing off her luxurious legs. While Raditz absolutely hated his own outfit, Bulma's made him do nothing more than drop his jaw in astonishment.
"You look handsome," Bulma teased her Saiyan mate, poking her tongue playfully out at Raditz, who had repeatedly been mumbling harsh words in his native language as he dug at his suit, hoping to loosen up the attire in aggravation.
"I… hate… this… suit," Raditz plainly growled as he brought his woman close to his muscular body safely with his arms. "But you look incredibly nice in your attire."
"Aww… thanks Raditz," Bulma continued, her smile growing wider as her face flushed with flatter at the Saiyan's words. After a short walk, the two individuals arrived within the building, coming face-to-face with a tall, incredibly frail waiter dressed in a black tuxedo while he held a clipboard in his hands. "Reservations for Brief," Bulma told the man, who only nodded as he led the duo to their reserved seats.
"Your waiter will be with you any minute now Ms. Brief," The mustached said with a nod before he departed, leaving the Saiyan and his woman to be.
"What do you think I should have, Raditz?" Bulma asked Raditz, who was reading through his own menu in admiration.
"I don't know… but I think I'm going to go with a little bit of everything," Raditz smirked, making Bulma giggle in laughter. She was now fully aware of the appetite that a Saiyan could possess… having to buy groceries at least twice a week now that both he and Krillin resided with her family and herself in their large building. "What is a casserole… and will I like it?" The Saiyan added.
"It's a dish that you slowly cook in an oven… judging by the amount of food that you eat, I'm sure that you'll like it." Bulma answered.
"Great, I'll have three of those then." Raditz responded, his spiked hair complimenting the worriless smirk bestowed upon his face. "Now… what was this that you kept going on about in the car about some invention to help me out during my training?
"Oh that… it's just an idea but I'm sure that it'll be my best invention yet!" Bulma squealed in excitement, beginning to go fully tech mode, as Raditz called it when she was about to start explaining things in a way that he could not keep up with. "Well… since you and Krillin have been here, my dad has been making plans for a training room of some sort, just so you guys don't make a mess of the house or garden! He had just finished the plans when I looked them over and found out a number of ways to make it better! It's going to be built from the toughest and most resilient metal that we can find and you'll be able to encapsulate it and everything Raditz! Now… this training room is different from your standard training room in one way…"
"And that way?" Raditz questioned, genuinely interested in the idea of a portable training room… so that his training would not be interrupted. Though, he assumed that by the way that Bulma was going on about it, she hadn't even got to the best part about said training facility.
"Well, I took the idea of Roshi's weight training and came up with my own variation of it. It took a whole lot of thought but I think that it'll all be worth it in the long run when it helps you out tremendously." The turquoise haired scientist squealed, barely able to contain her excitement. "I call it the Artificial Gravity Chamber!"
"A what?" Raditz questioned, not believing the words he was hearing. Through his mind, he was actually wondering whether Bulma was incredibly smart… or just as insane.
"The Artificial Gravity Chamber!" Bulma said once again, clapping her hands together in happiness. "It has the ability to give you a feeling that's similar to moving and fighting in an increased amount of gravity than Planet Earth's. While it isn't real and just a simulation though, one would have to be extremely careful as to not increase the gravity too high or they risk flattening themselves from the pure pressure. While this first one will be nothing more than a prototype able to go up to only five times Earth's gravity, when it's improved you'll be able to train in gravity's of up to five hundred times that of Earth's and possibly even more. With that type of gravity you'll be able to-" The Earthling carried on, only to be cut off by the completely enraptured long haired Saiyan.
"Increase my speed and strength at a tremendous rate much faster than by normal means," Raditz interrupted, his eyes widening as he finished the woman's sentence. "A-Amazing."
"That's just what I was about to say!" Bulma boldly smiled, incredibly thrilled that Raditz was easily catching on to the idea that would otherwise take hours to explain.
"Blue… this idea is incredibly outstanding in theory and it's bound to help me in my training... but is it actually possible," Raditz complimented the Capsule Corps heiress.
"My dad and I reviewed the data for hours if not days and it should be incredibly possible," She replied, bringing a full pledged smile to her dinner date's face. "It may have taken a long time but we worked it all out, broke it down, and repeated it until it became one hundred percent clear to us."
"I don't understand any of the science behind said chamber but all that I long to know is... will it really work for me?" The Saiyan asked, fascinated by the idea that was being presented to him.
"It should work even for someone of your strength! We're worked out more than enough to know for a fact that it will withstand any type of pressure from your ki blasts and any type of trauma and physical blows if you decided to spar with Krillin or anyone else in it. Also we made it so that injuries in the heavy gravity would not be as grievous as they would be on a different planet with heavy gravity." Bulma answered the muscular, sharply dressed martial artist.
"That's all I needed to know Blue," Raditz responded, immediately leaning his head over the table and bestowing an excited kiss upon the bluenette's delicate lips. "How long do you think that it'll take to build said contraption?" The Saiyan asked, ending their kiss a few seconds later.
"The answer to that is not in your favor, Raditz…" Bulma sighed, knowing that Raditz would be a bit disappointed by the estimated timeframe. "For just the prototype alone… like weeks, if not months!" She slowly retorted
"Weeks? Months!" Raditz disappointingly let out a moaning tone, surprised by the amount of time it would take to build his personal training facility. "I've seen you build an entire solar-powered jet in four days time"
"Raditz, you have to understand… to build just the chamber alone will take a while, not to mention that the gravity simulator aspect would have to be perfectly and precisely built. Then, my father would have to run a number of tests to make sure that it's perfectly safe for you or anyone else! If we mess up even one calculation by just so much as a fraction, the entire thing could malfunction and you'll be crushed like a pancake and killed!" Bulma explained, a tear beginning to form in her eye at the thought of the device malfunctioning and stripping the Saiyan's life away from him. "I can't run the risk of you being killed Raditz… and that's just for the prototype to be exact. After that, there's going to have to be a number of updates and changes to make sure that it runs properly and is completely safe the more you use it."
"Great," Raditz smirked, looking into the woman's ocean blue eyes. "I know you'll do everything to make sure that it's safe for me to use… I don't care how long it takes. I can't even think of how long this took you to come up with and you have my full support behind it." The Saiyan was incredibly proud of Bulma… his woman, and the knowledge that she possessed. He was absolutely blown away by what he was now hearing… by who she was doing all of this for. Not her own benefits, but his. She had put all of the thought and energy that she could muster up into providing the calculations needed to come up with this Gravity Chamber just so that his training could be as efficient as possible… so that he could reach and achieve his lifelong goal of avenging his race. While she wasn't much of a warrior just yet, she more than made up for it as the smartest person he had ever come across in his life. "Now… let's continue our dinner and discuss this at a later time." The Saiyan finished, seeing that the couple's waiter was now approaching their table.
A bit over thirty minutes later, Raditz and Bulma were taking a harmless, calm walk in a park, taking the time to just relax and bond. The sky was beginning to darken and unwilling to either Raditz or Bulma, tonight marked the night of the monthly full moon.
"That was a nice dinner," Raditz exclaimed, looking down at his woman wrapped securely in his arms. "Wasn't it Blue?"
"It must have been," Bulma giggled, looking up at the tailed warrior, remembering how the entire restaurant had been nothing short of both astonished and freaked out by the huge towers of bowls and plates that Raditz had left once his stomach had been satisfied to say the least. She was just glad that she was one of the richest people in the world, or their dinner date would have turned into a dinner dash. "You had at least two of everything on the menu!"
"I've enjoyed this night with y-" Raditz began before he immediately froze in place, his eyes glued onto the sky.
"Raditz…" Bulma worriedly cried, seeing the widened eyes that Raditz now possessed. A second later, the bluenette followed Raditz's glare, seeing the large, cratered orb that Raditz's own orbs were glued upon… the glistening full moon within the sky. Seeing Raditz's eyes, along with his furry tail, begin to frantically twitch, his eye color shifting to that of a vicious red color, Bulma pulled the Saiyan close to her, stroking his hair in an attempt to calm him down. "Raditz... stay with me… please."
"B-B-Bulma," Raditz managed to say, his voice becoming a bit more vicious and anger with each passing second. "G-Get away… f-find… Krillin!" The Saiyan finished before he immediately escaped Bulma's clutches, rocketing into the sky a split second later. A sea of worry consumed the brave warrior, he was absolutely terrified of hurting those he cared for– no, loved. Already the Oozaru form had taken away his beloved Grandfather, now it was bound to take the lives of his friends, unless he had something to say about it.
"Raditz!" Bulma let out, seeing the Saiyan soar away, his body size increasing with each second that passed by. The beast within Raditz had just been released.
"Wait! R-Raditz did what!" Krillin gulped, soaking in the story that Bulma was currently telling him… something about Raditz having morphed into some type of fifty foot tall gorilla and commanding her to find him. Just the thought of it brought back so many memories of their training with Master Roshi.
(As of now, Bold, means a flashback. Bold Italic means speaking telepathically or through a mental bond, which will be further explored in future chapters of this story.)
*Flashback start*
"Krillin… leave now," Raditz slowly said to Krillin, a vicious growl emitting from his mouth, which seemed to be growing a set of fangs in place of his teeth. "You're going to get hurt!"
It was currently nightfall and Krillin and Raditz had been assigned by Master Roshi to partake in a hunt for another of his perfectly thrown stones into the jungle, giving his students only ten minutes to find it. Another two minutes later, Raditz had suddenly froze in place and began panting heavily before his pants changed into that of a howl.
"Raditz… what do you ahh!" Krillin let out, turning to find that in place of his Saiyan friend was a growing, incredibly hairy gorilla monster who seemed to be growing an inch bigger each millisecond. This beastly creature was also dressed in Raditz's unique armor and possessed the long mane of hair behind his neck.
Not wanting to say another word, Krillin immediately charged up and flew into the sky. While he hadn't fully mastered the technique just yet, he could still hover in the air for hours at a time. However, his thoughts were abruptly interrupted as a large, furry paw smashed into his body, knocking him to the ground as if he was a fly.
"K-Krillin," The beast managed to say before he leaned in closer, with the former monk blacking out… one other word echoing into his ear in the voice of Master Roshi's.
"Kamehameha,"
He then woke up the next day with pain coursing through his body. He knew how dangerous this form was and if he never saw it again it would still have been too soon.
*Flashback End*
"Krillin… he told me to get you!" Bulma cried out, bringing the former monk to face her eye-to-eye. "You're the only one that can stop him!"
"F-Fine… lead me to him," Krillin mumbled, composing himself to fight for his life yet again, giving in to Bulma's request.
Krillin suddenly stopped in place, his eyes catching a mere glimpse of what appeared to be the monster of his nightmares. The beast he had suffered great nightmares because of revealing itself back into his life. Just months earlier, the creature had nearly mauled over his entire body… and if it hadn't been for Master Roshi, would the former monk even be here hovering in place? Most likely not. Another thing that added on to this nightmare was the fact that this was no ordinary monster… this was actually one of his best friends and sparring partners –Son Raditz, known publicly as the world's most powerful and skilled martial artist– someone he knew for a fact that he could no defeat, even at his best. Now, because he was much larger and –more than likely– stronger than Krillin himself, the former monk knew that he stood absolutely no chance at besting the transformed warrior.
The tremendously tall Oozaru let out one of its traditional, vicious, saliva-filled howls, screaming into the skies as it trampled in place. The transformed Saiyan had grown to be nearly sixty feet, his newfound size being much more than needed to tear apart the expensive, specially-made business suit that he had been wearing for the date that he and Bulma had embarked on earlier in the evening. The sleek coat of brown fur that had sprouted across his body gleamed quite dazzling under the sparkling moon that glistened above its head. The bloodshot eyes that the creature possessed were more than enough to reveal that although Raditz was still there, he was somewhere deep down within.
"Raditz… I know you're there it's me Krillin," Krillin slowly said to the Great Ape, hesitantly approaching the coated monstrosity that was his training partner. He had previously witnessed the strength that the beast contained and personally… he was not so keen on being in that situation once again. 'Please don't attack me,'
"Kriiiiillliiin," The giant slowly repeated, the bitterness escaping his mouth. Although he had barely had the time to use said technique in the past few months, Raditz still retained an unreal amount of control over himself in the raging, vicious form that was his Great Ape transformation… due to the fact that he continually meditated on a daily basis. "Krillin."
"Yeah… it's me Krillin!" Krillin happily replied, stunned at the fact that he wasn't splattered over the floor just yet. Previously, he had been mercilessly smashed onto the ground by Raditz, who hadn't given a second thought to the idea of causing damage to the former monk.
"G-Get… a-away… now," Raditz slowly managed to say between raging grunts, bringing his enlarged paws to the side of his furred face in frustration. With the smell of pathetic Humans and creatures to dispatch of entering his snout, it was becoming much harder to control his destructive spree with each passing second. He would absolutely hate to harm either Krillin or Bulma if worse came to worst… but that was exactly what would happen if they did not leave the area as soon as they possibly could.
Before Krillin could do anything else, he suddenly ducked, barely managing to dodge a quickly issued swipe from the enlarged Saiyan's pawed hands. Looking up, Krillin met the steamed snout of Raditz, who instantly let out a vicious growl with globs of saliva soaring towards the Earthling warrior. The Human's eyes dilated as he froze in place, completely afraid of what would happen now that Raditz officially wanted to mash him.
"Raditz!" Krillin heard the voice of Bulma, revealing herself from her hiding spot upon the ground. "Please… control yourself… please."
"D-Don't… want… hurt you Blue," Raditz barely mumbled before he blasted off into the clouds again, his own personal reason overtaking that of pure instinct… his road to full control in the form officially began. No more would this form take from him and cause him nothing but misery. It was time he took control into his hands, for he is a Saiyan warrior and a slave to not a single thing nor soul, not even himself.
