3 Month's later, Sonata walks into a secret base where Luke is. The security let her pass as she walks down a long hallway. Once she entered his office, she stood there waiting for him to notice her. He is smoking a cigarette while staring at the laptop. He glances at her. "What?"

"I need to talk to you."

"Not now. I'm busy."

"You're not doing shit. I need to talk to you now."

"Don't whine. What do you want?"

"It's about me being a Spy." He shrugged. "So? What about it?"

"Remember when I told you when I say I want out of this? You will permit me to leave?" He stares at her like okay? And your point is? "Well, I want out now." He narrows his eyes at her. "No can do."

"What do you mean? You promise, Luke. I want out as a spy, and I want out now!"

"We're very close to succeeding in our plan. I can't let you leave now."

"You said I can leave anytime I want, Luke!"

"Lower your fucking tone! I am your boss!" She sighed. "I know I promised you. But now I can't cut you loose. I need you for a few more missions. Once my plan is complete, you can leave."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"And you promise?"

"Yeah, damn..."

"Are you sure? You're not going to send someone out here to kill me?"

"Who the hell do I look like, Masaya?"

"Well, you cut your hair, and stop dying it blonde."

"I am not Masaya. If I don't need you, I will fire you, not kill you. You can leave once the plan is over. Now get out of my sight. I'm busy." She scoffed. "Whatever." Sonata turns around. Before she could leave, she turned to face him again. "What is it now?"

"I'm just asking. You don't have to answer, but w-what happen to Masaya?" Luke looks away from the laptop to stare at her. He smiles. "I killed him. Is there a problem?" She shakes her head. "No, I understand."

"The motherfucker was a nut case, Sonata. You saw him. He was supposed to retire and pass this place to me, but he wanted to be a dick. So I made him retire, permanently."

"You were okay with killing your brother?"

"Yes, he was going to kill us. And I don't care. All the shit he did to us, he had it coming." She nods. "I know." He flicks his cigarette. "Brother or not. I had to get rid of him. Now leave me alone. I'll call you when I need you for a mission." She nods, then leaves his office.

The next day the twins ran to the door. "We're leaving, Dad!" Gintosu shouted with his brother. "Alright! Be safe." Before they could open the door, Gintoki's Bokuto flew towards the door. The twins ducked. "Ah!" They look up to see a wooden weapon. It went straight through the door.

"Why did you throw that, Dad?" He nods. "Yeah, you almost cut off my bangs. What's your problem, Dad?!" Ginharu asked. Gintoki walks over to them. "You know what my problem is. Where are you two going, huh?" The twins look at each other. "We're just going for a ride. That's it." He nods. "Yeah, Dad, so stop yelling at us."

"Don't play dumb with me. You two are going to see your mother."

"And what if we are?" Gintosu asked. "Don't play with me. Stay away from your mother."

"But she's our Mom!" The twins shouted. "You have no right to keep us from her!"

"I'm your father, and you two will do as I say. She's working for someone that is-"

"Someone dangerous. We know."

"You told us many times. We understand." Gintoki stares at them. "Good. I apologize, but it's the only way to keep you two safe." They sighed. "We were safe, you kidnapper. Ow!" Gintoki flicked his forehead. "Don't get smart with me, Gintosu."

"I'm Ginharu!" Gintoki narrowed his eyes. "Do not pull this twin shit on me. I know which twin you are." They crossed their arms. "Do you, dad?" He stares at them. "Yes, I do. Gin…tosu?"

"Did you guess my name?"

"No! I know who you are, you little brat!"

"He guessed! I am GINTOSU! The energetic one with the ponytail!" Ginharu nods. "It's been eight years, and he still can't tell us apart," Ginharu said. "Yes, I can, Ginharu."

"So you do my name. Remember it well, Dad. I am Ginharu, the calm one with the bangs." He sighed. "That's enough! I know who you two are."

"We needed to make sure, dad," Ginharu said. "Yeah, I mean, you are old. See, you have gray hair."

"Drop the attitude, or there will be consequences. I'm not playing." The twin's frown. "Yes, sir." They look away. "You are kind of old, though. Ow!" Gintoki plucked Gintosu on his forehead. They turn away. "Hold it. Look, I know two miss your mother, but you have to stay here until further notice. Do you understand?" They sighed. "Yes, Dad." Gintoki hugged his kids, and they did the same. He pats their head, then walks back to the couch.

The twins left the apartment. "Hey, old lady Otose!" The twins laugh. Otose stares at them. "Call me old and break your little legs." They giggles. "Calm down." His brother nods. "Yeah, we were playing Grandma." The twins laugh, then hug her. She hugs them back and pats their hair. "Where's your lazy ass father?"

"Upstairs," Gintosu pointed. "Yeah, he's still upset about Mom working for the so-called enemy." Otose sighed. "He needs to get over it. Do you two think she's dangerous?" They look at each other. "Of course not!" His brother nods. "I think she's our Mom. Even if she does have a complicated past." Gintosu nods. "Your mother loves you. No matter what your father says. He only wants you two to be safe." They nod. "We know." They pull away. "We have to go. See you later, old lady Otose." The twins laugh. Otose sighed. "That reminds me. I have to kick Gintoki's ass. I know they got that old lady phrase from him."

The twins got on their motorbikes, then drove off. "Yay!" Gintosu shouted, speeding fast. Ginharu is ahead of him, so he speeds up. Ginharu noticed it, then sighed. "I'm not going to play your little game."

"Yes, you will. We're twins, so you are automatically in."

"No!"

"Yes!" Gintosu bumps his motorbike into him. "Stop! That's it!" The twins started racing each other. After knocking people over and almost running each other off the road, it was a tie. They made it to the park. They look around to see a woman sitting on the grass. The twins ran towards her, then tackled her to the ground. Sonata laughs. "Mommy!" When they hugged her, she hugged them back with all her might. "Hey, you two." The three sat in the park, being silly, and talking. "Do something with this hair, Ginharu. I would like to see your eyes." Ginharu lifts his bangs. "You can see my eyes." She moves his hair to the side. "Get a haircut." She shakes his head. "I don't want to." Sonata sigh. She looks at Gintosu. He looks back at her. "No!" He shouted, holding his ponytail. She laughs. "Fine..."

"Mom, how long is Dad going to be upset?" Gintosu asked. "Yeah. We want to come home. We're sick of seeing you behind his back," Ginharu said. "Yeah, we miss you." She frowns. "I miss you two, but I don't know when your Dad will get over being angry. For now, you two have to stay with him."

"But you aren't dangerous. We trust you, Mom." His brother nods. "Yeah, we know you won't put us in danger. Dad told us what happened when we were small."

"He did?"

"Yes. Just to let you know. We forgive you. It's not your fault what happened long ago." She looks away. "It is my fault."

"No, it's not." Sonata embraced her kids tightly in her arms while tears ran down her face. "I blame myself for not being honest with your father. So don't hate him. He only wants you two to be safe. So thank you for your forgiveness. I love you two." The twin's frown. Tears fall from their eyes. They miss their mother. "For now, in case something happens. Stay with your Dad."

"But we want to be with you!"

"You can't. I'm around dangerous people. You have to stay with your father. Okay?" The twins sighed, then buried their faces in her bosom. "Yes, Mom." She pats their hair, then rocks from left to right while holding them. Luke's name appeared when her phone rang. She answers the call.

"Hello? Yes. Can you give me an hour? I'm with my children. Thanks, Luke."
