Three weeks later. During that time, the twins were practicing their sword training secretly. Gintoki decided not to teach them anymore. Their sword training is for self-defense, not for participating in battles that have nothing to do with them. They have not heard from their mother, and now they are worried. They need to train just in case their mother is in danger.

The twins fell on the mat while breathing heavily. "Haru, this…is tiring..." He nods. "I know…But we have to keep practicing. Remember, for mom." He nods. "Yeah, you're right. We have to keep going. I want to see her soon." They stood up. "Alright, let's try that move dad said we can do." Gintosu lifted his weapon above his head. "Getsuga! Tenshou!" He sliced down. Nothing happened. "Come on!" Gintosu shouted while shaking the wooden stick. "Dad lied to us!" Gintosu pouts as Ginharu walks over. "Yup, let me try." Ginharu positioned his sword in front of him with two hands on the handle. "Ban-Kai!" Nothing happened. Ginharu threw his weapon on the floor. "Trash." The twins laugh. "Alright, no more playing around. We need to train." His brother nods.

The door opens. The twins turn around to see Gintoki. "Crap. He found us." Gintosu groaned. Gin walked over to them. "So this is where you two have been going after school. Didn't I say come straight home? You two don't listen. Do I have to pick you up from school like toddlers? Or do you want me to send Tsukuyo to pick you up?" The twins turn to Gintoki, looking irritated by what he said. "The fuck you say?!" They shouted. He stomped his boot on the floor. "Stop cursing!" Ginharu points at him. "The disrespect! You better not spend Tsukuyo. We will yell pedophile." His brother nods. "You better not scream pedophile!" Gintoki shouted. "WE WILL POINT TO TSUKUYO AND YELL PEDOPHILE! WE DONT CARE!" Gintosu shouted.

"That's it! Chill with that word! I will not send her to pick you up." They crossed their arms. "That's what we thought. Ow!" He rubbed his forehead. "Don't get smart with me, Gintosu. Now, why are you two sweaty?" They looked at each other. "Uh... Because uh..."

"We were dancing. Yeah, that's right." He nods. Gintoki stares at them like they are serious. "Dancing?" They nod. "Yeah. Don't hate because you can't." Gintosu dances around. "Dancing? With swords?" Gintoki asked. "Hey, you got to have something in your hands to entertain people with." Ginharu started dancing too. "Stop the bullshit. You two were training."

"Yeah, we are training because you refused to train us," Gintosu said. "I refused to train you for a fight that has nothing to do with you!"

"It has everything to do with us! Our mom is out there," Ginharu argued. "Your mother is a spy, and she can handle this. Not two nine years olds." They sighed. "But what if mom is in danger?" He crossed his arms. "She has Luke as a backup." The twins groaned. "And if he fails to protect her. Will you save her, dad?" Gintoki walks away. "This has nothing to do with me."

"This is about our mom!" The twins shouted. Gintoki stops, then turns to them. "You don't have to interfere in Luke's problem," Gintosu said. "Only worry about mom. Mom's safety is all we care about," Gintosu told him. "If you care about mom like you said you do. You will do this for us."

"For the last time. I do care about your mother. I'm not in the mood for this. Do whatever today." Gintoki walks out the door and goes straight home. The twins stare at him, then sigh. They continue to practice without any more interruptions. They have to be ready in case their mother is in danger.

A few hours pass. The twins walk in and head straight to their father. He is sitting on the couch with his hands covering his face. "Is he upset with us?" Gintosu asked. "I don't know. You think he's been crying?" His brother asked. "I hope not." They walk over and tap him. "Dad?" No, respond. "Gintoki." The twins laugh. "Chill. He might strangle us," Ginharu said. They laugh, then tap him again. "Dad, are you alright?" When they tap him, he moves his head to the side, revealing cake frosting on his face as he snores. "He's freaking sleeping!" He sighed. "I knew it. It will take a miracle to make this former samurai cry."

Gintoki opens his eyes. "Huh? What's going on? Oh, it's you two. Wait, are you just now coming back home? That's it. You two are grounded more."

"Dad, we're sorry about what we told you. We were wrong, right in our way, but wrong," Ginharu said. "We only said it because we thought you would come to your senses and help mom, but we see now that you are right. Interfering in the spy business has nothing to do with us. So, we're sorry," Gintosu apologized. Gin sighed. "It's okay. You have to stand up to me someday. But now? No. I will let this one pass but don't do it again. And just to let you two know. I do care about your mother. Our love for each other faded when we decided to go our separate ways."

"Dad, what happened between you and mom?" Gintosu asked. Gintoki sighed. "Yeah, something did happen between us. When you two were two years old. Your mother and I decided to have a relationship again."

"So what happened?" Ginharu asked. Gintoki sighed. "Your mother wanted to get married. And I said no. I'm not that type of man. She said okay, then walked away. That's all. She did not want to talk about it, so I left. I wanted to talk, but she refuses to have a serious discussion with me." He leaned his head back and sighed deeply. "Can you believe that woman?" The twins look up at their father. "Dad." He looks at them. "Yeah?" It went quiet for a few seconds. "What are you talking about?" The twins asked. Gintoki begins to sulk. "We are nine years old. You have to break this down for us," Ginharu said. "You said mom didn't want to marry you. That's all we understood," Gintosu said. Gintoki sighed. His kids are nine years old. They know nothing about women, and neither does he.

Gintoki started laughing. His children look up at him. "What's so funny?" Gintoki wraps his arms around his children. "You two are. You know nothing about women, and here I am, expressing how I feel. I appreciate the laugh. I needed that."

"No problem, dad." His son taps him. "Well, since we made you laugh. Are you going to protect mom?"

"No." The twins frowned.

In a helicopter, Luke's phone rings. He answers it. "Yeah, what is it?" His jaw clenched, and his eyes squinted. "Are your fucking serious?! Tell me you are joking! Scan the place! If you find him, take him down! Don't let him leave! If he does, then we're all screwed! YOU GOT THAT?!" Luke ends the call, then kicks the seat in front of him. "Get to me to the base now!"

"Yes, sir!"

As soon as Luke got there, he went underground and found the metal door destroyed. He took out a gun, then walked. The medical team is on the ground injured. The ones who survived are tending to the injured people. Everything in there is a mess. The computers are damaged, three walls have a giant hole, and broken glass is everywhere. He didn't show any mercy to anyone that was there.

"What the fuck?"

"Sir!"

"What happens here?"

"He did this, sir."

"How?"

"With a sword. I'm sorry, sir. It happened out of nowhere. He woke up and broke out quickly without warning." Luke walked towards the broken glass tank. His brother is gone. "Did anyone find him?!" Luke shouted. "No, Sir. We scanned this whole base. He is gone. He wounded everyone and destroyed everything down here." Luke sighed, then lits a cigarette. "Fuck." He took a long puff. "Sir, what are we going to do?" He heads to his office. "Contact Sonata. Tell her Masaya is gone."
