It's breakfast time for the Avengers. A 100 word drabble I wrote earlier this year for Ao3's international fanworks day.

The road to recovery. I don't particularly care from what - psychological trauma, difficult mission, a psychical injury, whatever - but I'd love something that focuses on the actual process of dealing with stuff. The prompt made me want to explore the immediate fallout of the "Battle of New York" and dealing with the psychological trauma of mind control.

Natasha prefers solo missions; they don't call her the Black Widow for nothing. Or, five times Natasha Romanoff resents being saddled with a partner and one time she doesn't mind it at all.

Post-AOU. In the new Avengers Training Facility, Wanda Maximoff wakes up one morning (when there isn't early training) and decides she'd rather not eat stale cereal for breakfast. Maybe it's the smell of pancakes, maybe it's the noise she made knocking things over in the cabinets - but somehow, she ends up with company... (My usual rating: T for past violence and peril.)

Steve Rogers doesn't have nightmares, but somehow they are making him fall apart.

Quickly he did an assessment of the others as he moved forward towards the blast, but then he caught that drag of lights, that weird pattern from Metal Man's thrusters, and then another sound, distinct, what he knew the rest of them called an RPG. There was a blast when it hit and for a minute Metal Man's lights disappeared. And then Hulk lost it.

Lyria is Tony's twin, younger by a few minutes, and she's a very different person than he is. When the world starts heading fore heck in a hand basket she gets dragged into the middle of things as a certain mischievous god becomes interested in a unique feature she possesses. Will she prove to be his weakness or will she become his greatest strength?

One shot: There's a reason why Tony Stark is hidden in his labs, and it isn't because there's a former brainwashed, ex-assassin upstairs, though he's okay with everyone thinking that. He's okay with everyone thinking that he hates James Barnes, though that's furthest thing from the truth. It isn't because he is a teenager girl in love with both Barnes and Rogers.
