"Alan, what's going on?" Kayo asks and walks over to where Alan is standing giving him a hug.
"I dunno, I guess today made me realise that I really am not ready to join International Rescue," replies Alan.
"You know I didn't ever but after today, you really do prove yourself not only to me but to your brother's and father too," Kayo says while still in a tight hug "We better get back to the villa as it's getting late," Kayo continues and the pair start walking back.
Alan and Kayo arrive after a slow walk back the villa were everyone is silent. "What's wrong?" asks Alan.
"It's dad. He's—," replies Scott.
"What's going on!" cries Alan.
"Before you ask it's The Hood. He's responsible as that was the last message we got from him," says Scott. At this point Kayo walks out of the room towards her room.
"Kayo!" calls Alan "Shit."
"Erm. I'm just going to leave," replies Scott and the rest of Alan's brothers leave leaving Alan and Sally alone.
"You go and talk to her Alan," says Sally slowly.
"Ok, Grandma," replies Alan and heads in the direction of the bedrooms. I lot was going through Alan's mind at this point in time as he knows that Kayo needs him right now as her fathers killer is now also responsible for his dads death as well.
Alan knocks on Kayo's door "Hello! Can I come in?" asks Alan. He could make out a muffled "yes" so he enters to find a downcast Kayo under the bed sheets. Alan slowly removes them to find Kayo was only in a T-Shirt and jeans with a rip in her T-Shirt from her anger.
"Hey, I'm here," Alan starts and hugs Kayo tightly.
"It's all my fault," sighs Kayo "I'm such a idiot." Alan sighs as he looks at his close friend and pulls back from the hug to look at her directly in her eyes. It occurred to Alan that Kayo was blaming herself for all of the events that have happened over the spring break which hit Alan hard.
Alan then says something that could help Kayo out a lot, "Just because he's killed your father doesn't mean your responsible for him. I regret what I said to you in the jungle I really do but I kills me to hear you talk down on yourself."
Alan looks at Kayo and lifts her chin looking directly into her eyes and gave a small smile. Thankfully for Alan she returns it and throws herself on top of Alan giving him a massive hug.
"Thanks Al," Kayo says leaving Alan really red in the face but he gets an idea.
"I'll be back in a second Kayo," Alan says and Kayo nods her head. He slowly leaves the room before running towards Scott's office and banging on his door. "Scotty can I came in?" Alan calls
"Sure. If you don't kill me," Scott answers. So Alan enters.
"Right I need to ask you something," Alan confesses.
"Is it about Kayo?" Scott asks.
"Maybe," Alan says with a small blush "I was wondering if Kayo could go with me on missions as she's quite sensitive."
"Sure just keep an eye on her," Scott answers
"Thanks Scotty," replies Alan and turns to leave and was just about to exit when Scott calls him
"Alan!"
"What?" he asks.
"Have you told her yet?" asks Scott.
"What?" replies Alan.
"Never mind."
"You sure?" Alan asks looking at Scott and his brother nods in response. Alan walks back to Kayo's room only to be then surprised to see Virgil and Gordon outside with Kayo's stuff all packed.
"What's going on?" asks Alan.
"Didn't Scott tell you that we're swapping room so you'll be next to her seeing as she'll be your co-pilot when you get to fly Thunderbird 3?" Gordon asks.
"NO!" cries Alan and runs into what was currently Kayo's room to see her making sure that everything was packed up. Alan approaches her and taps on her shoulder causing her to turn around.
"Are you alright in moving next to me?" he asks.
"Of course I am" Kayo replies, "I'm the one who agreed to it in the end."
"I just wanted to make sure," Alan responds, "I guess with everything on I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable."
Kayo feels a slight blush forming on her cheeks. "It's ok," Kayo says back without thinking.

Gordon had just finished moving his stuff into his new room and Virgil was happily decorating it, looking very pleased with himself. "Now that's what I call a job done Virg," comments Gordon as they pack their stuff up.
"Certainly. Though Alan, you sure Kayo is happy with this right?" Virgil asks.
"Yeah we had a conversation about it while you guys were busy, just wait a second if you want to ask her yourself."
"And why's that Alan?" asks Gordon with a smirk on his face causing Alan to blush.
"She's just getting herself changed into fresh clothes in the new room," Alan replies.
"Well I'll leave you two to it," says Virgil and he walks out of Gordon's new room along with Alan who heads over to his only to find Kayo reading a book on his bed.
"Hey," whispers Alan.
"Finally you're back," says Kayo, as she puts the book down and turns to face Alan. "I was wondering how long it'll take.
"Yeah," Alan chuckles, "I was just helping Gordon with the last few things of his, the amount of junk he has in unbelievable."
"Well I'm certainly looking forward to getting to know my neighbour," Kayo jokes and gives Alan a friendly slap on the back "just like the good old days back in the early '50s."
"Absolutely," Alan says as he watches Kayo walk out his room and going next door.
It had been a very long day.
