A/N: It's been a while hasn't it guys? Sorry for disappearing on everyone and abandoning Being Ourselves. I had to write this after watching Zombies 3… Wow what a turn around but I guess I'll let Zed and Addison tell you why! Side note: This is being posted as both a second chapter to After the Movie and its own story.

After the Movie Pt 2 The Redemption

"Well?" Addison quietly asked, while she and Zed watched the credits roll. She and him had watched the sequel of the sequel to the movie they loved so much as children. Now as full grown adults, they had shared this love for the original with their children, who, unfortunately, fell asleep near the end.

"I'm thinking," he replied, looking puzzled.

"Is that a good I'm thinking or a bad I'm thinking?" She pressed as she moved their youngest daughter to her lap and stood up with her.

"I do not know," He said. "Did I like that?" he asked the air in front of him. He stood up picking up their eldest daughter and followed Addison into the hallway. Addison's eyes went wide! She had not expected him to actually like this one. She was ready for a full on assault on this movie like Zed had done to the second movie. Sniggering after seeing her reaction, he said, "Let's put them to bed and then I'll explain."

They tucked both of their daughters into their beds and made their way back to the couch. Addison plopped down smiling widely, clearly eager to see what Zed had to say. "So lets start with the plot like last time," he started. "It was not completely nonsensical. There was a beginning, a middle, and an end. There were not any pacing issues; the characters had actual growth. The male protagonist was worried about getting a scholarship and getting into college. He nailed down both. The female protagonist was worried about who she was AGAIN! But she found out this time and had growth in the progress! This was overall a much better story!"

Addison let out a silent cheer raising her arms above her head as she did so. "I'm so happy you loved this one this time!"

Smiling at her adorable antics, he continued, "They added a race this time in a much better way. They were not hostile right out of the gate even though they did destroy most of the town in the process. While they were kind of portrayed as the antagonist it was not your normal foe. The aliens had a good reason for doing what they were doing and in the end came off way better than the werewolves in the second film"

Addison was nodding adamantly at this point. "What about the songs? Weren't they so good this time around?"

"They were WAY better this time around! And did you notice they worked with the story so much better this time around?" With another nod from Addison, Zed continued, "Like I said last time, songs in musicals should be weaved into the plot. When things get to be without a better way of saying it 'too much,' the characters start to sing their emotions! That is exactly what happened this time around! EVERY song this time around was woven into the plot this way. That only happened with a few songs in the first sequel." Zed thought for a momenting before adding, "my only complaint-"

"Ugh really? What nitpick did you see?"

Zed chuckled, "My only complaint this time that can I think of was that their song was again cut short. It was NOT the full song. I may have enjoyed the entire cast singing it this time, but their song is iconic and its potentially the last time we are seeing these characters in live action. Why not take advantage?"

Addison considered for this for a moment, "You're not wrong. That was a missed opportunity for the director's."

Zed shrugged. "Overall it was significantly better and I actually really liked it!"

Addison leaned over and gave Zed a kiss, "I'm so glad you enjoyed this movie this time!"

"Me too, Addy! I'm tired, let's go to bed, so we can be up when the littles wake us up in the morning!"

A/n: I was watching the third movie and got the end and said to myself 'Wait did I enjoy that?... Yes… YES I DID!' It was SO MUCH better than Zombies 2. Like Zed says in this every concern in that film was addressed this time around. On a side note: did anyone else notice it felt like the production budget was smaller? The sets were smaller and reused way more than in Zombies 2. I wonder if they are a smaller budget than Zombies 2 did. Regardless, I'm happy with the outcome. I've been so worried I'd hate this movie and I'm so happy I enjoyed it. Sorry for any grammar errors. This was written quickly, and my beta has been gone for over a year.
