A/N – Thanks for everyone who has stuck with this so far. Sorry that this one took so long. I moved in the middle of writing it. I also started a theater program; we are doing Beauty and the Beast. So that's gonna take up some time. I will try not to make the next wait so long. Promise! Thanks to the awesome Beta who only made this better! She knows who she is!

Minerva was startled when Hermione walked in holding Hooch's hand. She knew that there wasn't much she could do about the student teacher relationship part, not with Hermione graduating later that day. She offered them both a seat, fighting hard to hide the jealous lump that formed in her throat. While she knew that before today there was nothing she could have done to try and be with Hermione, though she had so wanted to, but she also cursed herself for not taking her chance while she still had it. She cursed herself even more seeing that the woman she wanted was with her former lover, whom she still wanted.

Hermione dragged Ro to the couch and sat herself regally between the two women she loved most in the world. Grabbing Minerva's hand, she held on tightly. She seemed to be terrified that if she let go, they would both vanish. "Please," she whispered. "Promise me that today isn't the last I will see of either of you." Though she and Ro had kissed only a few minutes before, she couldn't help the insecurities that ran rampant throughout her mind. "I don't think I could bear to lose either of you." Tears welled up in her eyes though she fought valiantly not to let them fall.

"Oh, dear." Minerva wrapped an arm around Hermione's shoulders and pulled her close, pressing her lips into her hair. "You surely won't lose me, as we have discussed before. I'm sure Rolanda is just as ardent in her reassurances. We will always be here for you."

"Mia," Ro whispered. When the brunette looked up at here, tears falling freely down her face and creating tracks in her previously perfect make-up, she opened her arms. The young woman flew from Minerva's embrace and into Ro's, where she began to sob in earnest.

Minerva felt the loss of contact keenly and moved to stand and was startled when Hermione grabbed her arms and dragged her down next to her. At this angle, with Rolanda sitting sideways on the couch with one leg curled under her, and Hermione laying half on her side and half in Ro's lap, Minerva found herself pressed tightly against Hermione's back. Using one arm, she wrapped both women in an embrace; the other went tightly around Hermione's waist.

"Mia, we aren't leaving you." Ro whispered, looking Minerva in the eyes, threat very blatant. The ebony haired woman knew that if she ever left the brunette that the business end of her flying instructor's wand would be waiting for her. She nodded.

Hermione gradually began to calm down. The ceremony was coming up soon and so many people were going to show up for this event. She needed to look her best. "You'll both come find me after the ceremony?" she asked quietly. Receiving a nod from both, a peck on the lips from Ro, and a kiss to her hair From Minerva, she stood and stepped into her mentor's bathroom.

Ro looked at Minerva. "You are in love with her."

Minerva looked at Ro. "So are you."

Ro sighed. "She loves you too. I don't think she is aware of it yet or if she is, I don't think she realizes that you feel the same. She does know that she needs you. If you leave her…"

"I have no intentions of abandoning her. Although, whether she loves me or not is irrelevant, as the two of you are already together. I will not come between you, nor will I enforce my presence upon you. As such you should know that if you ever hurt her…"

Ro and Minerva nodded to each other. Each stuck out their hand and shook in agreement that if the either ever hurt the young woman, the other would be there to help rebuild her and make the one who hurt her pay for it dearly.

Hermione stepped from the bathroom, her make-up once again immaculate, smiled at both her ladies and said, with confidence, "Let's go."

They met Draco in the Great Hall where he, Ginny and Severus swept over to her quickly and helped her into her seat next to them. Surprisingly, instead of moving to his seat at the head table and eating with the rest of the teachers, Severus sat down next to Ginny and began to eat his meal. Ginny smiled and leaned over and pressed a kiss to his cheek. Upon seeing this, Ro stood with her plat and left the head table to sit next to Hermione. On the brunette's other side was Draco, who would later help her into her gold and red cap and gown, while donning his own silver and green ones.

As they began to eat, the five of them were joined by Luna, who sat next to Draco. She had been spending a lot of time with him in the evenings while Hermione was with Minerva. The skater raised her eyebrow at her friend and chuckled when he grinned and wrapped his arm around the younger girl.

Minerva was once again surprised when Hermione beckoned her to join them, though she didn't hesitate to stand and make her way to them, much to the shock and awe of the rest of the faculty. They expected this from Rolanda, and Severus had never been one to follow the rules anyway, but they never thought that Minerva would actually stand and sit with a group of students to eat. With a glance at Ginny to ensure that she was welcome, receiving an encouraging smile and nod from the redhead in return, the older witch lowered herself to the table next to them.

Suddenly Hermione breathed a deep sigh, and smiled. Warmth engulfed her entire body. Pleasing and tingling, it moved through her veins heating her from the inside. For the first time in over two years, she felt good. Surrounded by the people that made her feel like she would be ok, the same people she now considered her family, she felt like maybe the world wasn't so dark. Maybe, just maybe the good guys had won that war after all.
